Goodbye, drama … hello, Ana?
Ben Affleck's drama is over, folks! Or so says his T-shirt, anyway. On Monday, Dec. 7 — just one day after People confirmed Ben's girlfriend, Cuba-born actress Ana de Armas, has moved in with him — the actor stepped to out for a day of paparazzi-shadowed errand running in a shirt emblazoned with the Spanish words "se acabó el drama," which means "the drama is over." In Ben's case, it could also mean some other nagging things are over — namely, the buzz about whether or not Ana has moved in with him (she apparently has) and whether that ring she had on during their recent "Deep Water" re-shoots in New Orleans was of the IRL, engagement type (it probably was not). According to Variety, the tee's one of multiple shirts by Cuban brand Clandestino that Ben's worn in public since things got serious with Ana. The couple — who returned to L.A. during a break from re-shoots — reportedly spent Thanksgiving at the home they now share with Ben's kids, Violet, 15, Seraphina, 11, and Samuel, 8.

Lori Loughlin's daughter, Olivia Jade Giannulli, 21, finally broke her silence on her family's involvement in the college admissions scandal on Jada Pinkett Smith's "Red Table Talk" this week, and she apparently had the full support of her on-again boyfriend, Jackson Guthy. Shortly after her interview aired on Facebook Watch on Tuesday, Dec. 8, Jackson, 24, shared a clip from her appearance on his Instagram Story. "Very proud of you!" he captioned the post (via People). The interview marked Olivia's first in-depth discussion of the scandal, during which her parents paid $500,000 to get her and her sister into college as fake rowing recruits. Now that both Lori and her husband, Mossimo Giannuli, are serving prison terms, Olivia was able to say publicly that the whole thing has "been hard" for her family. "I think for anybody, no matter what the situation is, you don't want to see your parents go to prison, but also I think it's necessary for us to move on and move forward," she explained. Olivia also spoke in depth about what the experience has taught her about white privilege. Later in the show, Olivia said she's not looking for "pity," just a "a second chance," adding that she thinks that's how her parents and sister feel right now, too.

Mariah Carey spills new details on possible movie based on her memoir
Mariah Carey says she's in talks about developing a movie or TV series based on her New York Times No. 1 Best Seller, "The Meaning of Mariah Carey." During an appearance on the Monday, Dec. 7, edition of "The Tonight Show," Jimmy Fallon asked her directly about rumors the new memoir is headed for the big or small screen. "We're talking about some things. I really feel like it should; that was always my goal," Mariah admitted (via People). "But it was important to write the book first, 'cause there's so much, and then to pick and choose how we translate that," she continued. Asked if there was any truth to buzz about Lee Daniels "circling" the potential project, Mariah didn't confirm or deny anything, but she did make it sound like she was in touch with the director about the idea. "Lee [is] one of my dearest friends and he gets me in a way that most people don't," said Mariah. "But I'm not allowed to say yes, no, maybe so. Only Lee. Only Lee tells little leaks about things." The singer, 50, also seemed to confirm that the onscreen version of her memoir would cover her life since childhood, and that her team was still working out some options for a potential star. They're "figuring out different takes" on casting she said, noting that the actress would "have to have quite the range" to play her.
Christina Perri shares an update on her family's healing after her pregnancy loss
This week, singer Christina Perri returned to social media for the first time since revealing her daughter had been "born silent" following pregnancy complications. In a lengthy Instagram post, Christina thanked "everyone … who held us up" in recent weeks by reaching out directly or sharing their own similar stories of pregnancy loss. "The days have been long and yet also feel like they all blend into one. we're not ok, but we believe in a day we will be," Christina captioned a photo of Carmella, the daughter she shares with her husband Paul Costabile. "Me, paul, and carmella all wrap each other up in love and in sadness everyday. we're learning to navigate our grief together. Some days we can't swim, some days we float fine. every day we burst into tears and every day we find moments to laugh," she continued. "It's been all the feelings, all the emotions, all the questions, all the anger, all the sadness; all day long. some moments of surrender and hope slip in there, but not often. i know that's all normal. honestly it's been mostly overwhelming. but also, what's been overwhelming has been the love and support." She went on to say she would be taking another break from social media before teasing fans with a promise that she'd return once her new album is ready and that she hopes to "heal back into" her formerly "hopeful self" in the meantime. "thank you for your patience and understanding at this time," she wrote in losing. "i hope the holidays bring you joy and i hope after a year that brought us so many storms, we find only rainbows in the new one."
Miley Cyrus jokes she's genetically predisposed to mullets
There is a reason Miley Cyrus' hair has been looking more and more, well, mullet-y in recent months. And that reason is her mom. The "Plastic Hearts" singer checked in with Jimmy Kimmel on Monday, Dec. 7, where she updated him on the backstory regarding her increasingly short-on-top, long-on-bottom hairdo. "I already had bangs and they were getting long," she said, according to People. "And [my mom] said, 'Well I can cut your hair, but I only know how to do one hairstyle, and I've been doing this since 1992 for your dad and for your brothers.' And all my mom can do is a mullet, so I had one option and needed it." And just like that, Miley followed in the footsteps of her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, and her siblings. She added that she's pretty sure there's a genetic component to the mullet trend in the Cyrus family. "It just kinda grows naturally shorter up top and longer in the back," she explained. "That's just kind of a natural shape that our hair grows in."
Mindy Kaling considered turning down her new Vogue cover: 'I was not feeling body confident'
A happy, healthy and gorgeous Mindy Kaling graces the cover of Vogue India's December edition. But as she shared on Instagram this week, she almost declined the photo shoot, which took place just a month and a half after the birth of her second child, Spencer. "I was so excited to be asked to be the cover of @vogueindia's December issue but seriously nervous because I would have to shoot it six weeks after giving birth to my son Spencer. I was not feeling body confident, and even considered saying no," the 41-year-old posted. Ultimately, she said she's "thrilled I have these photos as a memento of this very specific time in my life," calling her vibe in the photos, "Postpartum pandemic fabulous.'" In the accompanying feature, Mindy admits the coronavirus pandemic's caused her to struggle with more than just her body image. "I'm very hard-working, but I'm also very social," she explains. "It was a lot of growing pains at the beginning of the pandemic. It made it easier that my daughter [Katherine] was here because she's so fun and funny. In the beginning, it was a lot of just us staring at each other, but I got to know her better." Like a lot of people, Mindy's also found the whole isolation, stay-in-place thing tough. She says her "house feels smaller" now that she does most of her activities in it. But she also admits the pandemic made it easier to keep her pregnancy and Spencer's birth in September under wraps, especially given the ever-expanding list of new projects she's working on. Still, she makes it clear the motherhood project is her top priority. "The best relationship I had in my life was the one with my mom," she says. "It was so pure and so fun and uncomplicated, and I hope that I can have that with my son or daughter — if I'm lucky, with at least one of my kids — when they get older."

Madonna's six kids will always have a place in her heart — and on her wrist — after getting each of their initials tattooed in a neat row on her skin. "Inked for The Very First Time…………..✍️. #family," she captioned a gallery of photos from her visit to tattoo artist Mark Mahoney's famous Shamrock Social Club in Los Angeles, where she worked with artist East Iz. The 62-year-old star's new ink reads: "LRDMSE," one letter for each child in order of age: Lourdes, 24, Rocco, 20, David, 15, Mercy, 14, and twins Estere and Stella, 8. Late rapper Nispey Hussle's estate valued at $4.1M
Following Nipsey Hussle's death last year, TMZ reported the rapper had set up trust funds for his children, Emani and Kross Asghedom. A new report from the outlet published this week sheds more light on the contents of the estate he left behind when he was gunned down in front of his clothing store in Los Angeles on March 31, 2019. According to TMZ, Nipsey's estate recently filed documents containing information about the estate's final inventory appraisal, which values his net worth at $4.1 million. That money reportedly came largely from his trademark portfolio, as well as a mix of shares of the businesses he owned or co-owned and the value of personal items such as jewelry and Rolex watches.
Maria Menounos' parents hospitalized with COVID-19 amid news her mother's brain tumor has returned
The day before Thanksgiving, Maria Menounos tweeted, "Need some prayers. Please send some prayers to my family." Now, she's explaining why her family has been looking for support. On the latest episode of her podcast, "Better Together with Maria Menounos," Maria, 42, revealed that she recently jumped on a flight to Los Angeles to be with her mother, Litsa Menounos, after learning Litsa's brain tumor had started to return. That same day, however, both Litsa and Maria's dad, Costas, learned they'd tested positive for COVID-19. "First it was my mom. They had rushed her to the hospital when I landed," Maria shared (via Today.com). "I found out, and then a few hours later, my dad tested positive. It was absolutely surreal." As she dealt with a barrage of phone calls with doctors for both parents, who were sent to separate hospitals, Maria said she stayed positive by, "focusing on what my desired outcome was, not what my fear was," which she said has helped. Still, it was hard for Maria not to get emotional while talking about the situation. "You work so hard to keep your parents healthy and alive, at least I have, and to see something like this happen, it's like was bad enough on Monday to hear that about my mom's tumor and then the pile on of that is a lot," she said. Explaining the added pain of not being able to visit either parent while they're going through so much, she later advised listeners that while it's frustrating, it's possible to stay "engaged as an active participant, as an advocate, as their caretaker." She's also found that staying hopeful is the only way through. "If someone else can recover, why can't your family? If someone else can get better and have a miracle, why can't you?" she asked. "It's all possible, and it's better to hold on to the possibility than to have no faith or to focus on the negative. It's not good for you and it's not good for them."
Jerry Ferrera and Breanne Racano are expecting their second child together
Congrats are in order for "Entourage" alum Jerry Ferrera and his wife, Breanne Racano! On Tuesday, Dec. 7, the couple announced they're ending 2020 on a happy note. "It's been a rough year for sure. But I am grateful to be adding another little boy to our family," Jerry wrote on Instagram, sharing a cute photo that showed him leaning into Breanne's belly alongside their 19-month-old son, Jacob . "3 of us becomes 4 us! And I probably lose the rest of whatever hair I have left…," he quipped. Since "Entourage" came to an end in 2011, Jerry, who played Turtle on the series, has appeared regularly on the Starz show, "Power," and the USA Network's Mark Wahlberg produced series, "Shooter."
