Brad Falchuk opens up about moving in with Gwyneth Paltrow one year after their wedding
Since last September, when Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk got married then proceeded to live separately, interviews with Gwyneth have tended to veer into questions about the pair's seemingly unorthodox living situation. The actress and Goop founder has explained on more than one occasion that they chose to live separately for the two children they each have from previous relationships, most recently, telling InStyle they were preparing to finally move in together. Now, Brad's opening up about their living situation, too. "I'm moving in September. We've just done it slowly," he recently told WSJ Magazine (via People). "Divorce is terrible, even when it's the right thing to do. And it's really hard on kids. Come September, we're all gonna 'Brady Bunch' it up, and it'll be great." The producer also got candid about the realities of being in a high-profile relationship like theirs, telling WSJ: "There's a media version of her and me, but we're just home cooking dinner. Or she's just cooking me breakfast. That's all. We could not be a more normal couple." It also sounds like Gwyneth helps keep her husband calm. "Gwyneth has a very tough skin. She's like, 'You've got to relax,'" he said. "At the end of the day, we're getting into bed together… and nothing from the outside world or anybody's opinion means anything." Gwyneth and Brad said "I do" in the Hamptons last fall after meeting when Gwyneth appeared on "Glee."

Taylor Swift surprises a fan with thousands of dollars for school
Toronto-based college student Ayesha Khurram just got a serious dose of "ask and you shall receive," courtesy of Taylor Nation LLC. "I posted about struggling with paying for tuition. two hours later, i get this in my email. i have no words and i can't stop crying," she posted on Tumblr and Instagram on Monday, Aug. 12, according to People. She couldn't get much else out besides, "I don't have words i don't have words i don't have words i can't stop crying," but the images showed a note from Taylor Swift that read, "Ayesha, get your learn on girl. I love you! Taylor," along with a receipt for a payment made from the singer's company to Ayesha for the Canadian equivalent of about $4,800, presumably intended to help with Ayesha's school costs. "Taylor, I love you so much," Ayesha said in the Tumblr post through tears. "Every single time in my life that I've been going through something, you've been there for me … thank you, I love you so much!" Taylor was honored with the icon award at the Teen Choice Awards over the weekend. Her seventh studio album is due out Aug. 23.

This past spring, Andy Cohen shared a cringe-worthy story of the first date he went on after adopting his son, Benjamin. In the interest of being kind, let's just say it did not go well. Fast forward to this week,however, and it seems the 51-year-old Bravo host still has some solid prospects on the guy front. On the Monday, Aug. 12, edition of "Watch What Happens Live," a caller named Jacob reached out to Andy from Austin, Texas. "I just think you're so attractive, Andy," he said, getting straight to the point (via E! News). "I mean, if you ever come to Austin, I would love to take you out on a date." Andy admitted he liked Jacob's voice and asked how old he was. Jacob said he was 22 but refused to let that stop him from trying to meet up with Andy. "I want to take you out," he said. "I'll pick you up at the airport, take you out, pay for everything. It's good." He even offered to fly to New York City to see him. "I'll DM you and we can talk about this on Instagram DMs," Jacob offered. "He's running the show here!" Andy joked. "Alright, I like it," he added. "Maybe I need a bossy 22-year-old."

Anne Hathaway is 'cautious' in praising Hollywood for its more inclusive beauty standards
Anne Hathaway concedes there's been some improvement in Hollywood with regard to beauty standards since she first started acting. Like many actresses, she's also quick to acknowledge things are far from perfect. Speaking to Allure about her new, Dee Rees directed film, "The Last Thing He Wanted," Anne says she had no problem agreeing to Dee's request that she gain 20 pounds for her role as Elena. It seems to have reminded her of the very different experiences she had as a teenager, though. "At 16 years old, it was 'Congratulations, you have the part. I'm not saying you need to lose weight. I'm just saying don't gain weight.' Which of course means you need to lose weight," she explains. '"So I had that, then 20 years later I have Ane Crabtree [the costume designer for 'The Last Thing He Wanted'] asking me what my body does on my moon — which I realized meant my period — so she can make adjustments for me. It was just this beautiful thing." Ultimately, she can't help but think of all the work that still needs to be done in that area. "I am cautious in my praise of how Hollywood is shifting," she says. "There is so much more body inclusivity — which is great! — but the thin thing is definitely still the centralized 'normal' expectation."

Will the music exec who told Bebe Rexha she's "getting too old" at 29 to be sexy please stand up? Because Bebe has some words for you — as do a whole lot of her pop star friends and peers. "I recently had a MALE music executive tell me that I was getting too old and that my brand was 'confusing,'" the singer captioned a photo of herself in undies that she declared was "dedicated to" said music exec on social mediathis week. "Because… I'm a songwriter and I post sexy pics on my Instagram and that's not what female songwriters are suppose [sic] to do, especially for my age," she continued (via People). "I'm 29. I'm fed up with being put in a box. I make my own rules. I'm tired of women getting labeled as 'hags' when they get old and guys get labeled as sexy with age." As she looks ahead to her 30th birthday at the end of the month, Bebe said she's "not looking away from it." Instead, she wrote: "I'm not gonna lie about my age or sing songs that I feel will sell better because they sound 'younger.' I'm gonna celebrate my age because you know what, I'm wiser, I'm stronger and TRUST ME I'm a much better lover than I was 10 years ago." It wasn't long before supportive responses came flooding in from Taylor Swift, Rita Ora, Lauren Jauregui, NE-YO, Tinashe, The Chainsmokers and others before Bebe added in a tweet, "There's no age that you can't be sexy." Cara Delevingne says neither she nor Ashley Benson were 'looking for' love when they fell for one another
Cara Delevingne spent years hiding her sexuality from her family. Now, she's happily baring it all, literally and figuratively, in the new issue of Marie Claire. In a cover story that features a nude photo of the 26-year-old supermodel and "Carnival Row" star, Cara reveals how she and Ashley Benson fell in love. "We weren't looking for it. It was really just very authentic and natural," she says, referring to Ashley as her "girlfriend" (multiple British tabs recently claimed the two are married). What felt less natural for Cara was her upbringing, which she says put her in a position where she felt "from an early age" that she "didn't belong." She goes on to describe the experience of caring for her mom, Pandora, who was in the throes of a heroin addiction. "I was a nurturing child and wanted to make sure everyone was OK. It didn't feel wrong. But looking back, I'm like, 'Oh, maybe I shouldn't have been put in that position.' But I wasn't put in it; it just happened," she says. Eventually, the pressure seems to have gotten to her. When she was 15, Cara says she had a breakdown. "I had no coping skills. Instead of being able to breathe or take a moment, I tried to smash my head into a tree to knock myself out," she admits. Soon, work helped relieve the pressure, if only because she saw it as an "escape." "I don't like using it that way anymore. I want to use it as a platform, where I'm not just running from my problems," she tells the magazine. Cara and Ashley confirmed their romance during Pride month this year, which coincided with their one-year anniversary.

There's a good chance the stork will be making a return trip to Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross' house. The couple, who tied the knot in 2014 and share a 4-year-old daughter, Jagger, are apparently in planning mode for baby No. 2. "I would love to [have more kids]," Evan tells Us Weekly. "That's the plan, but you know, we have to see. I want a flock, but it's up to her!" While Jagger is Evan's only child, Ashlee also shares a 10-year-old son, Bronx, with her ex, Pete Wentz. And according to Evan, both kids inherited their parents' artistic DNA. "When I'm working [on my art], she's in there," Evan says of Jagger. "I'll have to catch her because she might draw across the whole picture. She's just an artist, and she's got an amazing voice. Bronx, my stepson, is brilliant," he adds. "I think he's, like, about to be the next George Lucas [with] his imagination."
Missy Elliott will be MTV's 2019 Video Vanguard Award recipient
We may very well be living in the Year of Missy Elliott. This week, MTV announced the groundbreaking rapper will be honored with the Video Vanguard Award at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards. According to EW, the Aug. 26 awards show will include a performance by Missy — her first at the VMAs since 2006. The award news comes on the heels of Missy's induction into the Songwriting Hall of Fame, which made her the first female rapper lauded by the organization, and Berklee School of Music's presentation of an honorary doctorate degree to Missy. Previous Video Vanguard Award winners have included Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, Rihanna and Kanye West.
Kourtney Kardashian opens up about finding her calling and fighting for a safer beauty industry
After coming of age together on reality TV, the Kardashian-Jenner sisters have all forged separate careers that speak to their interests outside the family. That shift happened more slowly for Kourtney Kardashian than it did for her siblings, but as she makes clear in a new interview with Glamour, she's now moving full steam ahead with her lifestyle website, Poosh, while fighting for a safer cosmetics industry. "I don't know if cosmetics regulation has been swept under the rug because the word 'cosmetics' makes you think of girls putting on makeup — but it's so much more than that … It's all personal care products …," she says of the industry, which has not seen a regulations update in 80 years. As a 40-year-old mother of three, Kourtney takes it very seriously. In 2018, she advocated for cosmetics reform before Congress in support of the Feinstein-Collins bill, aimed at making personal products safer. "I've always been conscious of what's in my beauty products, but once I had kids, I started caring more about the products they were using," she says. That interest in safe products eventually drew her to the non-profit Ethical Working Group, which monitors things like what goes into the products we use on our body, and where and how those things are manufactured. "Once I knew my voice could help make a difference, I was extremely excited to jump on board with them," she says. That work, in turn, contributed to her website, Poosh, which features a strong focus on clean, safe beauty and home products. As for finding her way into the work she's doing now, Kourtney says there was a learning curve at one point when she and her sisters "started splitting up and doing our pwn projects." Kourtney recalls asking herself, "Well what's my thing?" She also recalls feeling pressured to do something she was passionate about in addition to being a mom to three kids. "I didn't want to take on something else," she admits. "But once I really took the time to , once I figured out when the time was right for me — and that it really fit into my life without overwhelming me — then it became fulfilling." Some advice Kris Jenner once gave her came in handy, too. "My mom always tells me to really do something you love so that it doesn't feel like work," Kourtney says. "I think this is one of the most fulfilling things I've done."

Bindi Irwin shares a moving 'appreciation post' for her family and fiance
Bindi Irwin is clearly feelin' the love. On Tuesday, Aug. 13, the conservationist shared an "appreciation post" for her family and newly minted fiance, Chandler Powell, on Instagram. "Appreciation Post: My fiancé, mama and brother. My everything," she wrote alongside a photo of the four of them. "I'm in constant awe of their strength & kindness, their ability to create such positive change on the planet. They inspire me to believe in the goodness of the world and to reach for the stars, always," she continued. Bindi, 21, announced she and Chandler, 22, were engaged last month. In a recent Instagram post addressed to her late dad, Steve Irwin, she said she knows he'll "be beaming with pride" when Robert, 16, walks her down the aisle. Chandler, a professional wakeboarder, proposed at the Irwin family-owned Australia Zoo.
