The duo originally intended to tie the knot in front of 150 guests in an April 4 ceremony to be followed by a "huge party with a live band," they told Us Weekly, but in March made the difficult decision to cancel their original wedding plans due to the coronavirus pandemic. They arranged a porch delivery from their florist and contactless delivery for their wedding cake as well as dinner from a favorite local restaurant. Eight months later, they exchanged vows again, this time in front of 25 socially distanced guests. Us Weekly reported that the second wedding took place at the same venue where they initially planned to tie the knot back in April.

According to People magazine, which has exclusive wedding photos, the couple — who got engaged in October 2019 in celebration of Emily's 21st birthday — exchanged their vows at the stunning Marblegate Farm in Friendsville, Tennessee. "The fall season has always been a favorite of ours, especially with growing up so close to the Smoky Mountains," Emily said. "We always make trips to the mountains to see the gorgeous colors of the leaves before they fall, so when we were picking our wedding date and colors, we knew we wanted to pull inspiration from the beautiful colors of fall in East Tennessee."
Oct. 12 was the day Parmalee drummer Scott Thomas married Lexia Chamryk. The ceremony took place in Las Vegas and was "minimal," the couple told People magazine. "Scott and I were unsure how we felt about the ceremonial aspects of a traditional marriage, so we decided to pay homage to our showbiz heroes and roll up to the Vegas chapel that shared a parking lot with the chapel in which my parents tied the knot 22 years ago," Lexia added.

"In the midst of COVID, a piece of s— president, and the power and poignancy of the Black Lives Matter movement, I got married! Because honestly, WHY NOT. It's great to have cake smeared on your face by someone you love! And hot DAMN do I love this man!" she captioned a photo of herself and her mystery husband after he smashed wedding cake on her face. Bette told the Manila Bulletin it was a "very small" pandemic wedding.
