Channing Tatum apologizes to Halle Berry for whiskey stunt with male dancers
Channing Tatum officially delivers the best apologies. When Halle Berry stopped by "Ellen" this week, she recounted how she ended up chugging a glass full of whiskey Channing poured for her on a dare during a Comic Con panel. The pair's new film "Kingsman: the Golden Circle" centers around a spy agency that uses a whiskey distillery to cover up their tactics. According to E! News, the panel had agreed to do a shot of whiskey — but Channing went ahead and poured Halle nearly a pint of the stuff. She downed it anyway. "I was sick for like, three days," Halle told Ellen DeGeneres, acknowledging it was a mistake. Ellen explained that Channing felt really bad about the whole thing and wanted to apologize so he sent a gift for Halle to the show: Four "hand-picked" male dancers from "Magic Mike Live." As Halle shrieked, the buff guys came out from backstage and surrounded her then proceeded to take off their shirts and show her their moves. Um. Channing? Pretty sure you owe us an apology for something … anything, really.

Rachel Bilson mistakenly identified as 16-year-old Kaia Gerber
Seeing double? Cindy Crawford's 16-year-old daughter Kaia Gerber made her New York Fashion Week runway debut on Thursday, Sept. 7, for Calvin Klein. According to photos from Getty, actress Rachel Bilson, 36, also attended some Fashion Week events. She did not, however, age backwards and transform into a teenage runway model — though you wouldn't have known it from Getty's initial ID on the photo of Rachel on the right, which Jezebel reports was initially tagged as "Kaia Gerber." Meh, we've had worse problems than being mistaken for someone half our age …
Liev Schreiber adopts puppies rescued from Harvey floodwaters
Liev Schreiber, his ex Naomi Watts and their two sons have two new family members. Before Liev appeared on "Live! With Kelly and Ryan" on Wednesday, Sept. 6, he met a slew of dogs who had been saved from the floodwaters in Houston and airlifted to safety. All the pooches were backstage at the show with representatives from the New Jersey organization Home For Good Dog Rescue, which is working to get them adopted. As he scanned the room, Liev hopped on Facetime with Naomi and their sons and introduced them to two puppies from the same litter who clearly wanted to stick together. Liev, Naomi and the boys immediately fell for the little guys and wanted to take them home. They got their wish. Within a matter of hours, Liev shared this photo on Instagram. "Look what I just got," he captioned the shot. "Couple of orphans from Houston checking out the Big Apple for the first time. Thank you #kellyandryan #harvey." Gold star, Liev!

Kaley Cuoco 'couldn't be happier' about her romance with Karl Cook
The secret to Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook's happiness? She torments him and he allows it. Speaking to Us Weekly this month, Kaley admitted she "couldn't be happier" with her romance. "I feel very, very lucky that I found someone like him," the "Big Bang Theory" star gushed. "I like to torture him and he doesn't get mad at me. He just let's me do it! I'm just constantly trying to rib him. He's got such a great sense of humor. I like it when I'm bugging him, bugging him and then I finally get that laugh which just kills me. He's just … I don't know. He's a real person and I think the big deal was knowing how much he loves dogs and horses — that's always on my checklist. 'Must love dogs' is number one and he checked that off quite quickly and I fell very hard." Kaley and Karl, an equestrian like his lady, went public with their relationship last spring.

"I'm going to take a rest," she said at a press conference this week at the Toronto International Film Festival (via THR). "It doesn't mean I won't be creating. Gaga is in Toronto to promote her new Netflix film, "Gaga 5'2."
Madonna's alleged stalker thinks NYC will settle in arrest dispute
In 2010, former firefighter Robert Linhart was arrested twice for hanging around outside Madonna's building on New York City's Upper West Side with signs that declared his love for the singer. Nearly a decade later, he's taking the city to court over claims police botched the arrest by getting rough with him. The case is slated to head to jury selection early next week, but TMZ reports he's hoping the city will settle before that — for $3 million or so. He's said he'll donate $1 million of the would-be settlement to victims of Hurricane Harvey.
Lena Dunham gets trolled by former MLB star Lenny Dykstra
"I'm horny for baseball players! Wow!" That tweet from Lena Dunham, which she posted on Thursday, Sept. 7, probably wasn't intended to be an invitation of any kind, but former Mets and Phillies star Lenny Dykstra apparently took it as his cue to hit on Lena via Twitter. He started with a not-so-subtle "DM me" reply (via E! News), then moved on to sending her a link to the Garth Brooks song "If Tomorrow Never Comes." Lena shrugged it off at first, replying, "Okay now you're making me laugh … this whole exchange is a real trip." Lenny, however, persisted, sending her a video of himself hitting a home run in 1986 with the caption, "this is a good place to start to get the bloodflow going, doll." That's about when Lena started sounding nervous. "You guys I'm being simultaneously trolled & seduced by @LennyDykstra this day has gotten really f—— weird," she tweeted. Her post was met with an inuendo about a space shuttle from the retired center fielder. "Do you just sit around asking your friends 'what's the least witty way I can revolt a woman?'" Lena asked. Finally, she gave up and decided to stop watching her feed. "Excited about my new stalker @LennyDykstra! Unfortunately he seems to have underestimated my powers. Nite baseball fans, what a wild ride," she tweeted. Cue Lenny: "If you can't get to sleep after all this excitement, I recommend a cold shower," he answered. Lena had one more comeback for him: "I'm already asleep, grandpa." When another follower dissed Lenny for his behavior, Lena agreed, tweeting: "Yeah he's fully disgusting and contemptible – and will never understand how much wittier I am."
Jenelle Evans thinks her mother was involved in new custody request
More custody drama for Jenelle Evans. The "Teen Mom" star has been fighting with her mother, Barbara, over the custody of her son Jace, for more than a year. Now, the grandmother of her younger son Kaiser Griffith has filed documents in court claiming Jenelle and Kaiser's father Nathan Griffith are unfit parents and should not have custody of the 3-year-old. E! News reports Jenelle is fighting back against Doris Davidson, who requested temporary custody of Kaiser in her filing. Jenelle also thinks her mom was involved in the new filing. "Our lawyers are talking today. Doris made accusations but I can tell you that Barbara has a lot to do with them… Doris threw her own son under the bus by admitting that he has pending felonies and possibly on drugs. Her emergency filing was against me and Nathan …," Jenelle told E! in a statement. She added: "I can tell you that they are allegations, driven by my mom, and she didn't get her emergency custody. That speaks for itself."
Is Justin Bieber scared of Judge Judy?
Justin Bieber has a celebrity Achilles heel — and her name is Judge Judy. It seems the Biebs and the 74-year-old court TV star both own apartments in the same building in Los Angeles. According to In Touch, they're actually only a few doors apart and Justin is straight-up scared of Judy, who in 2014 told CBS News she thought Justin's DUIs and other bad behavior were "sad" examples of a celebrity "making a fool" of himself. He's since cleaned up his act but apparently wants nothing to do with the woman who once maligned him. A source tells the tab "Justin freaked when he found out" they had apartments near each other. "He calls her grandma and asks the valet guys to tip him off when she's around," the insider said. "Everyone jokes that at least he can outrun her!"
James Franco talks 'The Deuce' and what draws him to stories about sex work
In HBO's new series "The Deuce," which premieres on Sunday, Sept. 10, James Franco plays twin brothers at the center of the rise of the pornography industry in New York City in the 1970s. As the Vulture points out, it's not James' first project dealing with sex workers. He played Hugh Hefner in "Lovelace," and worked on the indie film "King Cobra," which has been called "the 'Boogie Nights' of gay porn. Asked what draws him to these stories, he explained the appeal has to do with the fact that no one wants to talk about porn and sex work. "In each of the movies, there's a different interest, but I would say with "The Deuce," what I love is that David Simon and George Pelecanos are behind this, and that what they want to do with the subject matter is use it as a tool to explore larger issues of capitalism, misogyny, the way that people are bought and sold, and that we're all implicated," James said. "We want to push this kind of thing to the side and say, oh, I don't do that. But look at the numbers on the internet. The numbers of people that watch pornography are huge! But we try to keep it in the shadows."
