Chrissy Teigen and John Legend's third child has to 'get through the next few weeks,' in the meantime, Chrissy's undergoing blood transfusions
Chrissy Teigen shared a pregnancy update Monday after revealing she was hospitalized Sunday due to excessive bleeding and a weak placenta as she awaits the birth of her third child with John Legend. "Today the big difference was it kind of was just like if you were to turn a facet on to low and leave it there," she said on her Instagram Story (via ET). "It's so weird because I feel really good. I'm usually at my happiest pregnant, mood-wise. That way I feel happier than I do not pregnant. That's why it's so, so hard for me to come to terms with." The cookbook author was already on mandatory bed rest when things started to go downhill. Despite being scared, though, Chrissy reiterated on Instagram that her baby boy-to-be is "so healthy" and is already "growing stronger" and more active in the womb than her first kids, Luna and Miles, were. "He's just so different than they were. So he's so strong and I'm just so excited for him because he's so wonderful and just the strongest little dude, so I can't wait for him," she gushed. She added that his "house" in her belly "didn't have a good foundation to begin with," which put him at risk. And at this point, she told followers, it would be too "dangerous" to attempt to save him via medical intervention. "Basically if I can make it through the next few weeks, if little boy can make it through the next few weeks, then, you know, we can go from there and be able to kind of get through the danger zone or whatever," she said. "But we have to get through this first. So yeah, it is scary. But it's scary in the way that there's just really nothing to do." In the meantime, Chrissy's getting blood transfusions — in a separate post on Monday night, she told followers she and the baby were "fine," adding, "… about to have my second blood transfusion which truly truly truly sounds more dramatic than it is."

On Sunday, the New York Times published a sweeping exposé about Donald Trump's tax returns, which he's refused to make public despite a tradition of U.S. presidents doing just that ever since 1973, when Richard Nixon released his returns amid an audit, famously telling Americans that he was "not a crook." According to the Times, Trump's "long-concealed records show chronic losses" for his businesses and "years of tax avoidance" in which he paid only $750 in personal federal income tax for 2016 and again for 2017. "He paid no income taxes at all in 10 of the previous 15 years," the Times reported, noting that "over more than two decades" of tax info reveals, "struggling properties, vast write-offs, an audit battle and hundreds of millions in debt coming due" for the president. Hollywood, like much of the rest of the country (including Trump), reacted to the news on social media as the president dismissed the findings as "fake news" on Twitter. Mark Ruffalo replied to a tweet from a father who said he's "paid more than $750 in federal taxes for every year of my working adult life" by tweeting: "I think pretty much all of us have. Except for Trump who has grifted his way through life. I wonder what all the people who kept saying, 'He is a great business man and that's why he would be a great president!', will say now?" As if in response, entrepreneur Mark Cuban weighed in to post, "[Trump] is who we thought he is, an awful businessman who runs the country like his businesses and does all he can to cheat hardworking Americans." Alyssa Milano echoed Cuban's concern about working citizens, tweeting: "Trump's tax returns show his disdain for working Americans. He looks out for his rich friends but looks down on workers & middle class families struggling to get by. He's refusing to negotiate critical economic relief to help families get through this pandemic." Sarah Silverman, meanwhile, called the president a "crook" and urged followers to "GET OFF FACEBOOK and read actual accountable, fact-checked actual news." Similar posts poured in from famous Dems including Debra Messing, Padma Lakshmi and Mark Hamill. As of Monday afternoon, Kirstie Alley had posted repeated claims that the Times can't legally report on Trump's taxes. (Supreme Court precedent and New York's Civil Rights Law § 79-h indicate the Times is well within legal bounds to report such information, according to multiple outlets.) Many other celebs on the Republican side of the aisle including Meghan McCain, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Tom Brady have remained quiet on the issue.

Which is to say, she wrote one word in the comments (via Comments by Celebs): "MOM." The all-caps, no-explanation-necessary vibe of Apple's response, of course, only tickled her mother, who replied with a line of crying-laughing emojis.

Max Ehrich's social media posts about his split from Demi Lovato have reportedly pushed the singer even further away from her very recent ex. Dax Shepard is 'grateful' but surprised at the support he's gotten since revealing he relapsed
A week after he revealed he'd relapsed into substance abuse following 16 years of sobriety, Dax Shepard can't believe how supported he feels. "My fears were the opposite of what the result was," he said on Monday's edition of his "Armchair Expert" podcast (via Page Six). "[I'm] struggling with some fraudulent feelings of receiving love based on a [mistake]. But at any rate, I'm really, really grateful and there's so many beautiful, nice people." As Dax, 45, told listeners on last week's show, he spent much of the previous two months using Vicodin "all day." The opioids were prescribed to treat pain for injuries he sustained, but he said he was "augmenting" the prescribed dose. I never gave up on us," Ant posted on Instagram Saturday (via Us Weekly). "I pray Christina's decision brings her happiness," he added. Rep throws cold water on Prince Harry, Duchess Meghan reality show rumors
There's no truth to British tabloid The Sun's claim Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are planning to film a reality show to about their lives in Santa Barbara, California, as part of their content deal with Netflix. That's according to the couple's rep, which told People in a statement Monday, "The Duke and Duchess are not taking part in any reality shows." Instead, the couple's multi-year Netflix deal will put them in producing roles as they create "impactful content that unlocks action" and "informs but also gives hope," according to a previous statement from the pair. "As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us, as is powerful storytelling through a truthful and relatable lens," they added. So far, they've confirmed plans to work on "an innovative nature docu-series" as well as "an animated series that celebrates inspiring women," according to People.

Maybe Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West's recent family vacation really did help save their marriage. Over the weekend, Kim shared photos from what she dubbed a "date night" with her husband at a friend's private, outdoor wedding. The couple's evening out together comes after a rocky few weeks in which Kim was said to have been at the end of her rope regarding Kanye's overzealous (and in some cases TMI-filled) tweeting and reported refusal to stay on his medication for bipolar disorder. As a source told ET earlier this month, Kim and Kanye, "continue to support one another and work on their marriage," which has "ups and downs" like any relationship.
Megan Thee Stallion shares her mood after Tory Lanez's shooting denial
Last week, rapper Tory Lanez responded to Megan Thee Stallion's allegation he shot her in the foot July 12 with an album filled with songs about the incident. The relevant lyrics on "Daystar" all claim Tory's innocent and in some cases accuse Megan of inventing the story in spite of graphic footage she shared from her surgery. The decision to put out an album about what went down only sparked more backlash as Megan's fans, including Rick Ross and other artists, criticized Tory for capitalizing on the violence. Megan initially stayed silent on the release. Then, on Sunday, she appeared to address it implicitly on Instagram with a selfie that showed her leaning on her hands, looking utterly unamused. While the caption just reads, "Mood," Megan's Her rings do the talking in diamonds that spell out a certain four-letter word on one hand and the word "you" on the other.
Amanda Seyfried, Thomas Sadoski welcome baby No. 2
Congrats are in order for Amanda Seyfried and her husband Thomas Sadoski, who announced the birth of their second child on Monday. Like Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, who announced the birth of their daughter via UNICEF, Amanda and Thomas shared their happy news via a nonprofit's Instagram to draw attention to the organization's cause. In their case, they selected Inara, a nonprofit that works to provide life-saving medical assistance to children impacted by war, and War Child, which provides psychological support to kids in regions of conflict. Both Amanda and Thomas are board members of the groups. "Since the birth of our daughter 3 years ago our commitment to the innocent children that are so brutally affected by conflict and war has been a driving force in our lives," they wrote alongside a photo of their newest addition. "With the birth of our son the work of INARA and War Child has become our North Star." Amanda and Thomas married in 2017. They also share a 3-year-old daughter, Nina.
