Meanwhile, on the July 22 episode of "Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen," Lance Bass shared a fun anecdote about coming out to his old pal Britney Spears after she married Jason Alexander in Las Vegas back in 2004. (The superstar famously wed her childhood friend after a night of partying and then filed to have the marriage annulled just two days later.) "I went up to Vegas to kind of see the craziness that was happening, and she was a little upset once she realized what she had done," recalled Lance. "She started really crying — like, she was so upset. And so I took her to her room and we were sitting on the bed and she wouldn't stop crying, so I was like, 'I'm gay.' And it made her stop crying."

Vanessa Hudgens also sparked rumors that she and Austin Butler had gotten engaged by accessorizing with a massive diamond sparkler during the July 22 premiere of "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood," though she noticeably wore the rock on her middle finger. Like Britney Spears' beau Sam Asghari, however, Austin has yet to put a ring on it.

During a July 17 appearance on Sydney's "The Kyle and Jackie O Show," Katy Perry said that she and Orlando Bloom are making sure the foundation of their relationship is "emotionally" sturdy before they tie the knot: "I think we're doing really great, and we're really doing the hard work laying a beautiful foundation before we start to build a massive house," she said. "I was saying it, like, emotionally. It's important for us to do the work before we go and take this really big next step. We were both married before and it's not the same in your 30s."
On July 21, Us Weekly confirmed rumors from May that Rooney Mara and Joaquin Phoenix are secretly engaged.
Tom Holland has moved on from his romance of about two years with "Spider-Man" franchise co-star Zendaya: The 23-year-old English actor was spotted holding hands with Olivia Bolton at the British Summer Time Hyde Park music festival in London on July 14. According to The Sun, they've known each other for years through their families but only recently took their relationship to the next level. "It took some time for Tom and Olivia to realize the connection between them," a source told the British tabloid. "Tom's been dogged with rumors about who he's dating so finally being public with Olivia has been a massive relief for him. … All their friends and family think they make a lovely couple. He is totally smitten." The Spidey star first sparked rumors that he and Zendaya were no longer an item when he described himself as single during an interview with Elle that hit the Internet on June 20. In spite of countless reports to the contrary, the former couple never officially confirmed that they were an item.
Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart have called it quits after nearly two years of coupledom, Us Weekly reported on July 22 — two days after the former child star was overheard during Entertainment Weekly's July 20 Comic-Con bash telling a pal that he and his "Riverdale" co-star had called it quits. (According to Us, the duo kept their distance from each other during the A-list affair.) On July 23, People magazine reported that, according to a source, Cole and Lili's friends "didn't really expect them to last in the long-run." Added the insider, "At the end of the day, their personalities are very different and their lifestyles often clashed. … Things have felt super-heavy in the relationship for a while, and it got to be too much. They're both very professional though and trying to be as amicable and friendly as possible." The plot thickened on July 25 when the duo's joint W magazine feature — for which they posed and interviewed months ago — hit the Internet. Although the pair posed together for the magazine, they insisted on conducting separate interviews. According to W's writer, "Two months later the two would part ways romantically, lending credence to my suspicions that the separate interviews might have been connected to the two of them being uncertain about their future together." The duo then took to Instagram to promote the feature … while hinting that they may not actually have broken up, though they stopped short of saying as much. "BREAKING: A reliable source has confirmed that none of you know [anything]," Lili captioned the magazine's cover. "UNPRECEDENTED: Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart consume the flesh of 'reliable sources' to fuel their bacchanalian sex cult," Cole captioned the same shot.
In other "Riverdale" romance news… KJ Apa, 22, and Britt Robertson, 29, are an item, multiple media outlets reported on July 21. The "A Dog's Purpose" co-stars — who are also set to portray spouses in the upcoming Jeremy Camp biopic "I Still Believe" — were seen packing on the PDA during Entertainment Weekly's Comic-Con party in San Diego on July 20.
Nicole Murphy and Antoine Fuqua were photographed packing on the PDA while hanging out at the pool at a hotel in Italy on July 20. It's unclear when (or if) the "Training Day" director and his wife of two decades, actress Lela Rochon, called it quits. (On May 6, Lela took to Instagram to share a trailer for Antoine's recent Muhammad Ali documentary. In the caption, she said that the HBO film was "directed by my husband #AntoineFuqua." Just days after the photos emerged, she deactivated her account.) On July 24, TMZ published a statement from Nicole apologizing for her behavior: "Without going into the entire situation, I want to apologize to my family, and to Lela and the Fuqua family for what transpired," she said. "It was not my intention to be in this situation. I do not condone women kissing or interacting in anyway inappropriately with a married man. I too was once married and I would never intentionally undermine another woman, despite what has been written." According to the webloid, Nicole was under the impression that Antoine and Lela were divorced and now "feels terrible about this and hopes folks can forgive her for the mistake." TMZ notes that it's unclear whether or not Antoine told her he was divorced. Nicole initially insisted that they were just "family friends" who'd exchanged a "friendly hello."
Bindi Irwin took to Instagram on July 24 — her 21st birthday — to reveal that her longtime boyfriend, Chandler Powell, popped the question. "July 24th 2019 ❤️ On my birthday I said 'yes' and 'forever' to the love of my life. Chandler, close to 6 years ago I fell in love with you and every day since has been a whirlwind of adventure and true happiness. I'm so looking forwarding to spending our forever together as your wife. Here's to a lifetime of friendship, purpose and unconditional love — Now let's get married already!" she captioned a slideshow of two photos of herself and her love showing off her new engagement bling. Added Chandler on his own Instagram, "She said YES! ❤️💍 Almost 6 years ago we met at Australia Zoo. I immediately fell head over heels for her kind and thoughtful heart that radiates so much light. Proposing in her very favorite place in the zoo, surrounded by animals, seemed like the perfect way to embark on this incredible new chapter in our lives. Bee, I love you more than anything in this world and I always will. Happy Birthday." The duo shot down engagement rumors in May.
During an interview with DailyMail.com that hit the Internet on July 22, Meghan King Edmonds said that she and her husband, Jim Edmonds, are "still married," "still together" and "not separated" following his "Baseball Madam" cheating scandal. "We're in the family home, we're in the same bed. We're not having therapy, we're talking," said the 34-year-old mother of three, who added that, throughout the scandal, she "never stopped wearing" her engagement ring. The former "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star revealed that she found out that her husband had been sexting another woman "the same day, the same way that everybody else did" — from a media report. "When I read it, I had a feeling, I knew in my gut there was truth to it. I was shocked," said Meghan, who went on to describe confronting her husband via FaceTime about his bad behavior, to which he tearfully confessed. The reality star then insisted that there was "no physical relationship" between Jim and "Baseball Madam" Jennifer McFelia Villegas, whom she described as a "con artist." Said Meghan, "He only met this other woman when she stalked him one time. … She's gone after so many baseball players… once I figured that out, what she was like, I was able to pull our family together. It actually made it more bearable." The blonde beauty then took a below-the-belt hit at Jennifer, "The second I saw her photo, I saw she was disgusting. I saw how gross she was and I knew, 'All good,'" she said. "I knew he would never touch her… She then said that with "time," her marriage will eventually heal. "With each passing day trust will rebuild… We only have one place to go and that's better. In a marriage when there's a fight or an indiscretion, nobody wins if they leave… I've just got to have faith that he's not going to screw up. … He really wants to make this work."
Heidi Klum and Tom Kaulitz secretly tied the knot back in February, but they're planning a bigger wedding for family and friends in Capri, Italy, next month, Page Six reported on July 23. "It's not going to be big, just family and some friends," said a source. A few days earlier, the supermodel took to Instagram to share a photo of herself sunbathing — in the caption, she wrote that she was working on her tan and her wedding to-do list.
Us Weekly reported on July 23 that, according to a source, Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott "have discussed getting married before, but it is not happening tomorrow" because the makeup mogul "honestly can't add that life chapter into her book at this moment in time" due to business commitments. "Her and Travis are very happy with where they're at in their lives and relationship," added the insider. "They aren't trying to rush into a marriage. They're also considering expanding their family, but again, right now that's not the appropriate time for that to happen." Less than a week earlier, on July 18, Us Weekly reported that, according to another source, "marriage isn't important to Kylie" but is "increasingly important to Travis." Added the second insider, "Travis is definitely into it. Kylie hasn't expressed huge interest in getting married but they've talked about it a lot." The source went on to say that Kylie's big sister Kim Kardashian West and some other friends "are advocating for them to get married because they like the structure of it" and think it "could be helpful for Kylie."
Ashley Benson took to Instagram on July 22 to promote her new Privé Revaux X Benzo collaboration. In the process, she revealed a new tattoo: the letters C and D below her armpit. The body art appears to be a tribute to her girlfriend of more than a year, Cara Delevingne. On July 19, Us Weekly reported that despite recent rumors to the contrary, the two women are not engaged — just "madly, madly in love," according to a source. "They are so great," added the insider. "All their friends mix well together. They have never been happier. Their relationship is really healthy."
Us Weekly reported on July 23 that John Cena and Shay Shariatzadeh are still going strong more than three months after they were first linked: He was seen introducing her to people backstage at a WWE Raw taping in Tampa, Florida, on July 22. "He had his arm around her and she was laughing. They looked like a really cute couple," said a spy, adding that according to a pal who knows the wrestler-actor, he's "really into Shay and excited about their new relationship" because she's "really smart and easygoing" and "great for him."
Christina Anstead and her husband, Ant Anstead, finally made their red carpet debut at the premiere of Discovery's "Serengeti" at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills on July 23.
"The Hills: New Beginnings" depicted the growing tension between Audrina Patridge and Stephanie Pratt after Audrina accused Stephanie of hooking up with her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bobby Brescia … who said back in 2015 that Audrina was never actually his girlfriend. On July 23, Stephanie took to Instagram to share a lengthy rant blasting Audrina and denying that she and Justin Bobby were ever anything more than friends: "@justinbobbybrescia you were my rock the entire series- I love you & thank you. PS: spoiler alert… we NEVER hooked up. Audrina is crazy … like you dated this guy ten years ago… you married someone else & have a child with him! And-As if you liked Justin!! you were dating someone off camera!! 😂(the guy u went on a blind date with the night after the festival)! No one plays a better victim than you," she wrote. Audrina filed to divorce Corey Bohan in 2017 after less than a year of marriage. They welcomed a daughter, Kirra, in 2016.
During a July 22 interview with "Extra," JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers said that they plan to tie the knot in California sometime next spring or summer — the former star of "The Bachelorette" explained that they'll set an exact date "in a couple weeks" after they've settled on a venue. "My involvement is: Wear a suit and taste the cake," joked Jordan. "Some girls may like that, but you're fully involved," fired back JoJo. The duo recently bought their first home together in Dallas: "Now she really can't leave me, we are on the deed together," said Jordan, who also dished on how the pair got along while working together on their new house-flipping show, "Cash Pad." Said the sports commentator, "There is stress — we argue sometimes, but it has made our relationship so much stronger and we both love doing it." Added JoJo, "We went through eight properties in three months and we didn't kill each other, and after that I'm like, 'Now it's time to set a date!' … We can get through anything." During an interview with Us Weekly that hit the Internet the following day, JoJo shared the secret to success in her relationship with Jordan: "I always said, 'I think what saved us was not lingering in that sort of [Hollywood] life and not staying in L.A.," she said. "It's like, 'That's fun and that's cool,' but I think when your focus is on your relationship, you really need to come back, you need to ground yourself, you need to jump back into work, and for us, we both did that individually. [He] went to football, I had my houses and I roped him on in."
During a July 17 interview with Us Weekly, Austen Kroll (right) admitted that he and off-and-on love Madison LeCroy "ended up in bed together" during a group trip to Colorado that was depicted on a recent episode of "Southern Charm." The reality star went on to say that they'd been talking "a little bit prior to the trip" but "hadn't really seen each other much." Said Austen, "I was kind of nervous, excited to see her because we were going to be on a trip with our friends so if we can't act right here, then where can we act right?" He then teased that "a lot more happens" between him and Madison on this season of the show. Co-star Craig Conover, meanwhile, told Us that he's still single: "I don't know what dating means," he said. "We are just having fun and traveling a lot and I met a few people recently and it's been a lot of fun, but just kind of talking, but no one's coming to weddings with me yet." Later, both Craig and Austen fessed up to hooking up with fellow Bravo personalities — but stopped short of naming names or shows — while playing a game of "Never Have I Ever" with Us Weekly. They also both admitted to sexting the wrong person at one point or another and denied that they've ever looked through a significant other's phone or joined the mile-high club. Only Austen — who joked that he and his ex, Victoria, split after she threw a drink in his face — said that he's had a threesome before.
Us Weekly reported on July 22 that, according to a source, Madison Beer is hooking up with Blake Griffin: "Madison went to the house in The Hamptons where Blake was staying this weekend to hang out with him," said a source, adding that the 20-year-old singer and the 30-year-old basketball star also "hooked up" after hanging out together at The Surf Lodge in Montauk. The duo first sparked romance rumors when they were seen dining together in West Hollywood in mid-June.
Us Weekly reported on July 24 that, according to a source, Jennifer Lopez "feels like she finally met her match" in Alex Rodriguez and that "he is really 'The One' she was destined to be with." The insider went on to say that the former baseball star is "obsessed" with the singer-actress and "positions her as a 'gift from God.'" They're still in no race to wed, though: The duo are "collectively working on advancing their wedding plans, but it's not the No. 1 priority at the moment," said the source, adding that the pair "love each other immensely and can't wait to bring their families closer than they already are."
People magazine reported on July 21 that, according to a source, Anne Heche and Thomas Jane are "definitely in love." Miles Teller is one step closer to marrying his fiancée, Keleigh Sperry: The actor recently celebrated his bachelor party in Las Vegas. According to Page Six, he kicked off the festivities on July 18 by dining at a steakhouse with his future in-laws. The "Fantastic Four" star and a group of male pals spent the next two days partying at Kaos, where they watched Marshmello's July 20 daytime performance. "It was strictly a guys' weekend," said a spy. "Girls were trying to come to talk at their tables and they weren't having it. He wanted to be at a low-key table and not on stage."
During an interview with England's The Times that hit the Internet on July 20, Lenny Kravitz dished on his relationship with his ex-wife, Lisa Bonet, and her second husband, Jason Momoa. "You go through a marriage with somebody, you break up and it's very difficult. … But [Lisa and I] put the work in and we took the time so that we could become best friends again. Our families are blended," he said. "I love her husband — he's like a brother to me — and I love the kids. It's beautiful, but it takes work." Lisa has an adult daughter, actress Zoe Kravitz, with Lenny and two kids, Lola and Wolf, with Jason.
During a July 23 "TMZ Live" interview, Lamar Odom called his time with his ex-wife, Khloe Kardashian, "the best part" of his adult life: "Doing reality TV and being married to Khloe — besides having children and besides me doing this motivational speaking that I'm going to start doing — that was the most memorable part and the best part of my adulthood," he said, adding that there's nothing he regrets about their time together and that he hopes his motivational speaking can bring him "closer to the Kardashians" and help him "rebuild that bridge" with his former in-laws.
Demi Lovato has been vocal on social media about her crush on "The Bachelorette" castoff Mike Johnson. During an interview with Us Weekly that hit the Internet on July 18, he expressed his mutual interest: "I'm flirting with her too. Tell her, 'What's up, baby?'" he said. "I would definitely take her out for an initial date, yeah, 100 percent not scared about it at all. I would be like, 'Oh my God! Girl, come here.'"
On the July 24 episode of Nick Viall's "The Viall Files" podcast, Rachel Bilson dished on dating as a single mom: "I was talking to this guy a few months back. Anytime I would bring my daughter up, they would never pursue the question or ask more about her. It was a red flag because anyone that you're going to get involved with, if you have a kid, they have to be all about the kid," she said. "I always put it out there. She's my world and I talk about her all the time. How [messed] up would it be if I hid that? … If you're going to pursue something with someone, they have to be interested in the kid or be willing to be around the kid." The actress welcomed a daughter, Briar Rose, with ex-partner Hayden Christensen in 2014. The little girl hasn't met any of the men her mom has dated since she parted ways from the "Star Wars" actor in 2017: "It would have to be someone I know I'm going to be with," said Rachel. "It would have to be a very serious relationship."
