Cher's love life has fueled tabloid reports for decades, thanks to the long list of famous men she's dated and married. In a new interview with The Mail (via ET), the 72-year-old singer and actress gets candid about her most memorable romantic partners, revealing that her marriage to Gregg Allman was "intense" but clouded by his drug use ("drug use and I were never meant to be together," she says), her marriage to Sonny Bono was "weird" ("he treated me more like a golden goose") and Gene Simmons of KISS is still "the one I'm crazy about." As for her '80s flings with "Top Gun" stars Val Kilmer and Tom Cruise? "When we kissed, I thought my head would shoot right off my body," she says of her affair with Val. Cher noted that she met Tom, whom she's called one of her "top five lovers," at Madonna and Sean Penn's wedding in 1985, then again at an event focusing on dyslexia. "A bunch of people who were dyslexic were invited to the White House, and Tom and I are both dyslexic. We didn't go out till way later, but there definitely was a connection there," she recalls, adding, "… I don't get what he does, that whole Scientology thing. I can't understand it so I just… don't." These days, though, there's no special guy in Cher's life. "Not this week. I'm still on the lookout," she says playfully. "The problem I have with all the boyfriends lately is that I don't want to go any place with them because you can't keep a relationship going in this kind of goldfish bowl, where everything you do and every picture you have taken will be on Instagram. There's no way to keep something special."

She also gets at least eight hours of a shut-eye each night and stays away from booze and tobacco. "She is a fitness enthusiast and she's a much better athlete than me," J.Lo's beau, former Yankee star Alex Rodriguez told E! in 2017. "She does all types of workouts," he added. "I don't try to keep up."

Lily Allen reveals Chris Martin helped her realize she'd hit rock bottom

Lily Allen was suffering from a dark combination of postnatal depression and the various effects of serious substance abuse issues when Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow invited her over for lunch and staged a small intervention a few years back. As she explains in her new memoir, "My Thoughts Exactly," out this week, Lily had gotten wasted at a Halloween party hosted by Kate Hudson the night before the lunch. She accidentally head butted Orlando Bloom and managed to knock herself unconscious, prompting Chris to step in and drive her home. When he and his then-recent ex, Gwyneth, had her over to their home in Malibu, Lily writes the visit served as the "wake-up call" she needed to get some help. The singer's book details a slew of equally disturbing incidents, as well as Lily's struggle to overcome the effects of growing up with parents who often neglected her, the grief of losing her infant son, fears around the stalker who ultimately broke into her bedroom and planned to kill her before being apprehended by police and a record industry executive who said he could help with her addiction issues then got her drunk, set her up in his hotel room to "sleep it off" and proceeded to try to have sex with her while she slept. "I moved away as quickly as possible and jumped out of the bed, full of alarm … I found my clothes quickly … and ran out of his room and into my own," she writes (via TheSun). Lily went to her lawyer and signed an affidavit detailing the experience but did not bring charges; she told The Guardian she wanted to name the man in the book but was blocked on the move by her publisher's attorneys. "Nothing seemed to reach or satisfy me," she writes of the period when she was heavily using alcohol, diet pills and cocaine. "I remember waking up one morning in those dark days thinking, 'Maybe it's time for heroin, because nothing else is working.'" She writes that instead, she hired a female escort whom she met with multiple times. "She was expensive. High-class hookers are. I didn't care," Lily recalls. "I just wanted her to help me feel something." "My Thoughts Exactly" hits shelves on Friday, Sept. 21.

Chris Martin takes a dig at Leonardo DiCaprio's cargo shorts addiction

On Saturday, Sept. 15, the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation recently celebrated 20 years of advocating for wildlife and environmental protection with a fundraiser in Sonoma, Calif.. But as Chris Martin reminded the crowd before he performed with Coldplay at the bash, Leo's work isn't limited to saving animals and the planet. "I studied him very closely for about five or six years," Chris mused, according to E! News, "and what became clear to me was his unbelievable service, his commitment to the business of cargo shorts." The joke-prone singer continued: "This is a guy, he's seen cargo shorts and he said, 'I'm going to save these shorts from extinction. They should have gone out about 25 years ago. I'm personally going to fund the sort of renaissances of cargo shorts.'" A regular at New York Fashion Week for years, Victoria Beckham made her London Fashion Week debut over the weekend and her whole family came out to support her. Posh's husband, David Beckham gushed about his pride in his wife when he posted a sweet photo of the couple's kids, Brooklyn Beckham, Romeo Beckham, Cruz Beckham and Harper Beckham, seated in the front row at the show. They all got a big smooch from their mom as soon as the presentation was over. "Proud of mummy x 10 years and what an amazing way to celebrate in London 🇬🇧 .. We are so proud of you @victoriabeckham ♥️," David captioned the shot. The Sun reports Victoria's mom, dad and sister, Louise, all came out to celebrate with her, as well. Sorry, Chrissy! It seems the world has been mispronouncing Chrissy Teigen's name for so long she's stopped trying to instruct them on how it should be said. "Gave up a long time ago. last name is tie-gen not tee-gen," she tweeted over the weekend. In comments excerpted by E! News, fans caught wind of the tweet and pointed out Chrissy herself sometimes says her last name the way everyone else says it instead of "tie-gem." "I know. I even correct people when they say it correctly. it's all v effed up," she added. "I don't correct people, ever. They can call me Janet and I won't. Wrong order? I'll eat it. Taxi going to the wrong airport? I'll change my flight." She also posted a video showing herself saying "tie-gen." Last month, Ariana Grande revealed to Apple's Beats 1 she had a similar problem with people getting her last name wrong. "My grandparents said [Grandee]. My brother [Frankie Grande] kind of change it to [Grawnday] because [Grandee] was kind of like the Americanized version of it," she said at the time. "I grew up saying [Grandee]." Ariana noted she'll keep Grande when she marries her fiancé, Pete Davidson, because of her last name's connection to her grandfather.

Paul McCartney likens Donald Trump to a 'mad ship captain' on new album

On "Despite Repeated Warnings," off his chart-topping new album, "Egypt Station," Paul McCartney sings about a climate change denying ship captain leading the world to the brink of disaster. "People who deny climate change… I just think it's the most stupid thing ever," the 76-year-old Beatle told the BBC in a recent interview. "So I just wanted to make a song that would talk about that and basically say, 'Occasionally, we've got a mad captain sailing this boat we're all on and he is just going to take us to the iceberg [despite] being warned it's not a cool idea.'" Asked if the captain in the song is a reference to a specific person, Sir Paul admitted it was about Donald Trump, who's said climate change is a farce and has proudly pushed through rollbacks of key environmental protection policies. "Well, I mean obviously it's Trump but there's plenty of them about," Paul said. "He's not the only one."

Duchess Kate is launching a solo campaign to assist at-risk kids

Duchess Kate has a new mission. In 2019, the royal plans to kick off a campaign to help disadvantaged children avoid lifelong problems they're often plagued with due to the circumstances of their childhoods in what's being called "Broken Britain," according to the Daily Mail. "This is a lifelong project," an insider tells the Daily Mail. "She is looking at what she can do over the next five, ten, 15, 20 years. She wants to be able to look back and see what difference has been made. That's what her position in public life allows her to do." The Duchess, who has previously focused on social work initiatives like Heads Together alongside her husband, Prince William, will execute this campaign by herself, the The Mail reports. She reportedly plans to work with experts from the worlds of academia and health care to support children prone to developing addiction, anti-social tendencies and other mental health issues.

Head or heart first? That's what Marie Claire wanted to know when the mag checked in with its October 2018 cover star, Nicole Kidman. "I always say I'm a pretty even mix, but I'm probably dominated by [my heart]," the "Big Little Lies" star revealed (via JustJared). "If you don't come from a feeling place, you just end up with an enormous amount of technique. I have this [brains], but that can be overruled. It fluctuates too. I have a strong sexuality. It's a huge part of who I am and my existence." The actress also weighed in on the #MeToo movement and how she thinks Hollywood should proceed with regard to male directors accused of sexual misconduct. "I look at those films that [Roman] Polanski made, and they're amazing," she admitted. "I'm sort of navigating through it myself with my own moral compass. What do you do? Do you ban it? Or see it as art? Or judge it in this time looking back at that time? I have no answer."

Sean Penn thinks the #MeToo Movement is about dividing men and women

Sean Penn isn't backing down from his position that the #MeToo Movement is deeply problematic. In the wake of his novel's defense of Louis CK and Charlie Rose, the star appeared on the "Today" show this week to take about his new show, "The First," with his co-star, Natascha McElhone and Natalie Moraeles. Asked if the show drew any inspiration from #MeToo, Sean criticized the movement and suggested many of those who have accused men of sexual misconduct were not being truthful. "I'd like to think that none of it was influenced by what they call the movement of #MeToo," he said, according to Vulture. "I think it's influenced by the things that are developing in terms of the empowerment of women who've been acknowledging each other and being acknowledged by men. This is a movement that was largely shouldered by a kind of receptacle of the salacious." When the meaning of his "receptacle of the salacious" comment was questioned, Sean explained: "Well, we don't know what's a fact in many of the cases. Salacious is as soon as you call something a movement that is really a series of many individual accusers, victims, accusations, some of which are unfounded. The spirit of much of what has been the #MeToo movement is to divide men and women."
