Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the stars who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in mid-February 2019, starting with this doozy: On Feb. 19, TMZ broke the news that Khloe Kardashian dumped Tristan Thomspon after she learned that he cheated … again … this time with Kylie Jenner's best friend, Jordyn Woods, during a Feb. 17 party at his house in Los Angeles while he was in town to spend Valentine's Day with Khloe and their daughter, True. According to the webloid, Tristan and Jordyn, who's also friends with Khloe, were "all over each other" and "making out" in front of everyone. Khloe reportedly found out about Tristan's bad behavior and immediately dumped him. "She has had enough," said a source. TMZ adds that according to its sources, "there's little chance for reconciliation." Us Weekly, meanwhile, reported that Khloe and Tristan "aren't speaking" in the wake of his latest act of infidelity, which the professional athlete called "FAKE NEWS" in a since-deleted tweet. Khloe's best friend, Malika Haqq, however, commented "STRONG FACTS" on Hollywood Unlocked's Instagram account after the YouTube channel reported that Jordyn "stayed at [Tristan's] house until approximately 7 a.m. " following their makeout session. (Khloe commented on the same post with a series of megaphone emojis, seemingly confirming the report.) According to Hollywood Unlocked CEO Jason Lee, one of his writers saw Jordyn "all up in" Tristan's lap during the party, while he was "all over her touchy-feely." (It's unclear whether or not Jordyn and Tristan took things to the next level.) Then E! News reported on Feb. 20 that Jordyn met up with Tristan and his friends at a bar in Santa Monica, where they seemed "very flirty," before everyone headed back to his house to keep the party going. Multiple party guests reportedly texted Khloe about what was going on between Jordyn and her beau. "Khloe is reliving the worst kind of betrayal and pain all over again," a source told E! News, though another insider characterized her as "angry more than she is sad." Yet another E! source said that the new mom "knows she deserves better" and "is done" with Tristan, who reportedly tried to deny that he'd been unfaithful when Khloe first confronted him, though he eventually copped to it. On Feb. 20, Us Weekly reported that, according to a source, Tristan Thompson "isn't a manipulative person … just a cheater [who] doesn't care about anyone besides himself, his wants and his needs in the moment." Added the insider, "He doesn't even think him hooking up with Jordyn [Woods] is 'bad' because him and Khloe [Kardashian] were broken up in his mind. He just truly doesn't care." Echoed a second source, "He honestly doesn't really care and was over it. He was never trying to win Khloe back." Those comments lend some credence to other recent reports about the basketball star's infidelity — and rumors from earlier in the month that he and Khloe were on the verge of calling it quits. On Feb. 15 — before TMZ broke the news about the Jordyn hookup — Radar Online reported that, according to a source, Khloe "suspected [Tristan] had cheated on her during the holidays," which is why she stayed in Los Angeles instead of joining him in Cleveland, where he lives during basketball season. "They are done — for good. … Khloe began to see what everyone else had been seeing for months: that he doesn't deserve her," said the insider. "She is out of the fog, and blaming it on baby hormones. … She sees the situation for what it is." Also on Feb. 15, Life & Style reported that, instead of spending time with Khloe and True, Tristan spent Valentine's Day getting dinner with some guy friends and then "being flirty, hitting up girls" at a bar in the Los Angeles area. Then DailyMailTV reported on Feb. 20 that Tristan was seen sneaking into a bedroom with two young women for some alone time during a Valentine's Day "singles" party with several fellow NBA stars at Jordan Clarkson's home in L.A. "He was flirting and exchanging numbers with girls who came up to him — he certainly didn't look like he was with Khloe anymore," said a witness. "He was dancing, flirting, touching, grabbing butts, that kind of thing. … He was acting like all the single guys in there. Not like a guy who supposedly sent Khloe flowers earlier in the day."

Miranda Lambert took to Instagram on Feb. 16 to reveal that she secretly married NYPD officer Brendan McLoughlin. "In honor of Valentine's Day I wanted to share some news. I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan Mcloughlin for loving me for…. me. ❤ #theone," she captioned a slideshow of photos from their nuptials, which, according to E! News, went down in Davidson County, Tennessee, on Jan. 26. People magazine reported on Feb. 18 that the country singer met the cop on Nov. 2 — a few days before he welcomed a child with another woman — while she was visiting New York City to promote her band, the Pistol Annies, with a concert and an appearance on "Good Morning America." A woman named Carol Bruno told Us Weekly that Brendan was engaged to her daughter, Jackie Bruno, when he got Kaihla Rettinger pregnant — it was Kaihla who informed Jackie that she was expecting a child with the police officer. "[Brendan] tried to deny it and then begged her to stay with him," said Carol. "He was begging her to marry him … even though he knew the girl was pregnant." She also told Radar Online that Brendan "lived a secret life for several months" and called him "a phony," "unbelievable" and "garbage." (It appears there was no overlap between Miranda and either of Brendan's exes, however.) TMZ reported on Feb. 19 that due in part to his new addition, NYC-based Brendan and Miranda, who owns a massive estate in Tennessee, will have a long-distance marriage — at least until they reassess their living situation in "about a year." TMZ added the following day that Brendan, who previously worked around Times Square, has already been reassigned "to a more covert position because the media has been hounding him in public" while he's working.

Rumors that Lady Gaga and Christian Carino called it quits kicked off after the singer-actress attended the Grammys solo (sans both her beau and her massive engagement ring) on Feb. 10 and then failed to thank her fiancé in her acceptance speech. On Feb. 14, E! News reported that, according to one source, they did break up and the talent agent was "desperately trying to get back together." Two other sources, however, said that wasn't the case and that the duo's wedding plans were simply on hold due to Gaga's career obligations. But then on Feb. 19, People magazine reported that a rep for the "A Star is Born" actress confirmed the breakup. "It just didn't work out. Relationships sometimes end," a source told People, adding that the split only took place "a bit ago." Added the source, "There's no long dramatic story." That seems to contradict a Feb. 18 report from Radar Online that Christian was seen holding hands with "a stunning brunette woman" during dinner at the Sunset Tower in Los Angeles two days before the Grammys. "They were holding hands and it looked like a romantic date," said a spy.
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom took to Instagram on Feb. 15 to reveal that they got engaged on Valentine's Day. "Full bloom," the singer captioned a selfie with her man showing off her floral-inspired engagement ring. "Lifetimes," the actor captioned the same shot. "The proposal was a complete surprise," said an E! News source. "They have discussed getting engaged but Katy did not think it was going to happen so soon. Orlando proposed to Katy in private just the two of them after their Valentine's Day dinner celebration." After popping the question, the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star surprised his love by taking her to a surprise party at a penthouse in downtown Los Angeles, where they celebrated their engagement with her parents and 30 of her closest friends.
On Feb. 20, Radar Online published photos of Teresa Giudice holding hands with 26-year-old businessman Blake Schreck at the Coral Gables Country Club near Miami, where they attended a charity event, on Feb. 16. "They looked really into each other," said a witness. The pair reportedly stopped by a hotel to continue the party and then ended the evening at the same condo. The following day, Teresa and Blake were photographed looking cozy together outside another hotel, where they reportedly hit up a pool party with two of the reality star's friends. According to Radar, one of the pals was overheard asking Teresa, "Where is your guy?" After that, the twosome — who also partied together in Miami on New Year's Eve — once again returned to the same condo, with Blake's arm wrapped around Teresa's shoulders. They hit the town again later that night — with Teresa wearing her wedding ring. According to a spy, Blake "looked jealous" when the mother of four chatted with another man. In spite of the multi-day hang, a rep for the married star of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" insisted to Radar that Blake "was simply helping her walk to her car and the interaction was brief." Teresa's lawyer also told People magazine that Blake is just a "friend" and that the two were merely leaving the same event together. "Teresa was in Miami for a charity event with a large group of friends, both men and women," said the rep. "The photos show one of those friends helping Teresa out of the venue and to her car. She had some wine and she was wearing heels. … That's the real story. There is no cheating, no divorce. End of story." The rep had the same line ("it was a night out with friends, nothing more than that") back in early January after an Us Weekly source spotted Teresa and a mystery man (now identified as Blake) "aggressively flirting" at a New Year's Eve party. Said an onlooker, "Teresa had her hands on his leg. … At points, the two had their hands intertwined, and then [he] was rubbing her leg in a romantic way. … [It] didn't seem like she cared if others were looking." Just last month, Teresa hinted that she's ready to throw in the towel on her marriage to Joe Giudice, who's currently serving time behind bars.
Darren Criss and Mia Swier tied the knot at the Ace Hotel in New Orleans on Feb. 16. The groom's "Glee" co-stars Lea Michele, Chord Overstreet, John Stamos and Harry Shum Jr. were on hand during the nuptials. Lea reportedly performed during the reception. The bride donned white combat boots and sported pink highlights in her hair, while the Golden Globe winner rocked a white suit over a white button-down shirt with a white bow tie.
Tommy Lee and Vine star Brittany Furlan tied the knot on Valentine's Day — exactly a year after they got engaged. Though they've yet to share photos from their nuptials, the newlyweds took to Instagram to confirm that they made it official by sharing a photo of their dogs dressed up like a bride and groom. "It's official!!!! We're married!!! ☺️❤️MR & MRS LEE YAHOOOOOOOO," Brittany captioned the shot. "Holy [crap]!!!! We did it!!!! Mr & Mrs Lee," the Mötley Crüe drummer captioned the same shot.
According to TMZ, musician Beck filed to divorce his wife of nearly 15 years, actress Marissa Ribisi, in Los Angeles on Feb. 15. The singer has two children with Giovanni Ribisi's twin sister.
Radar Online reported on Feb. 18 that Heather Locklear and off-and-on love Chris Heisser, who reportedly split over the holidays, are back together — much to the chagrin of her family. "They believe he's contributed to her issues with not maintaining sobriety," said a source. "They think he's the problem." Added another insider, "He was basically living with Heather, and when he moved out, he had no place else to go. So she let him crash at her other pad. … Now they're talking and meeting again like a couple." Radar reported on Feb. 19 that the reunited couple celebrated Valentine's Day by taking "a quick weekend getaway" that was "just the two of them." Said a source, "They are 100 percent together."
Brittany Snow took to Instagram on Feb. 19 to announce that she and realtor Tyler Stanaland are engaged. "A couple weeks ago, I said 'YES' about a million times to the man of my wildest & most beautiful dreams. After celebrating with friends and family, we wanted to let a few more friends (you guys) know… this happened. ✨I'm still pinching myself and thanking my lucky stars for the truest feeling I've ever felt. Thank you @tylerstanaland for the happiest day of my life & for not proposing in this creepy empty restaurant," she captioned a slideshow of photos of herself and her man showing off her engagement ring. It's unclear when exactly the pair started dating, though Tyler made his debut on the "Pitch Perfect" star's Instagram in the summer of 2018.
Abbie Cornish took to Instagram on Feb. 14 to announce that she and MMA fighter Adel Altamim are engaged. "You've swept me off my feet my love. I have been waiting for you. The answer is yes! And may God share this light and love with us forever in his arms. Blessed be this day with you. We'll never forget this anniversary! ; ) Happy Valentine's Day to my fiancé. @adelkyokushin," she captioned a photo of their entwined hands featuring her engagement ring.
Kaia Gerber and model Wellington Grant were photographed holding hands in New York City on Feb. 18. (See the photos here.) The pair were also seen leaving the same hotel together on Valentine's Day.
Are wedding bells ringing for Johnny Galecki and Alaina Meyer? Her half-brother, Evan Bozajian, told Radar Online as part of a Feb. 14 report that the actor "recently" asked her father for permission to pop the question — and got the A-OK. "My dad is old-fashioned so Johnny figured asking him for my sister's hand in marriage would be the respectful thing to do instead of outright [proposing] on his own," said Evan, adding that the matching rings that the star of "The Big Bang Theory" and his girlfriend have been seen wearing lately are "more of a pre-engagement." Said Evan, "One day they don't have their rings on and the next they do. They don't refer to them as 'promise rings' but in anyone's mind, that's implied." Evan also called Johnny a "pretty good guy" and gushed that he's "not some Hollywood star with a bunch of ego." Added the proud brother, "It's refreshing. He's close to the family." Johnny and Alaina took their relationship public in the summer of 2018.
Is there a new man in Yolanda Hadid's life? According to Us Weekly, the former star of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" got close to a mystery man during The Weeknd's birthday party in New York City on Feb. 16. (The singer is dating her daughter, Bella Hadid.) According to a witness, the pair were "being very close and affectionate with each other." Added the spy, "It looked like Yolanda was introducing him to Bella for the first time."
Former "The Bachelor" star Ben Higgins debuted his new girlfriend, Nashville-based account manager Jessica Clarke, on Instagram on Feb. 20. "I've been selfishly keeping this girl to myself for too long! Hey friends meet @jessclarke_! I successfully slid into her Dm's a few months ago. I took a risk and I am glad I did. She is someone special, and I look forward to where life is going to take us. Stay tuned for the journey. In addition, this picture was taken this week in Honduras. I got to spend some time with an incredible group of people from all over the USA on a @generous_coffee_ adventure. Life is good!" he captioned a photo of himself and his love.
Kim Kardashian West clarified during a Feb. 17 chat with TMZ that her daughter, North West, does not have a boyfriend. "She doesn't have a boyfriend. Is that for real? She's 5," said the reality star. The "romance" rumors kicked off after Caiden Mills — the 7-year-old son of Kanye West collaborator Consequence — started referring to Nori as more than a friend on Instagram. "Boo'd Up," the little cutie captioned a photo of himself with his arm wrapped around North's shoulders at cousin Stormi Webster's 1st birthday party on Feb. 9. Alas, the boyfriend-girlfriend talk is all in good fun!
Us Weekly reported on Feb. 19 that Tinsley Mortimer and her off-and-on boyfriend, Scott Kluth, are off again. The star of "The Real Housewives of New York City" has even started dating again, though she "isn't locked down at the moment," according to a source. "The breakup with Scott was heartbreaking for her," said the insider. "All of Tinsley's friends are trying to set her up with guys, but no one serious yet."
On the Feb. 18 episode of Marc Maron's "WTF" podcast, Mandy Moore opened up about her troubled marriage to Ryan Adams. "I was living my life for him," she said. "It [was] an entirely unhealthy dynamic. I had no sense of self. … I felt like I was drowning. It was so untenable and unsustainable and it was so lonely. I was so sad. I was lonely with him." The singer-actress went on to say that their relationship had a negative impact on her career: "I would do little jobs. It's not like I completely stopped working. I would do things here or there, but it would become abundantly clear while I was working, things would completely fall apart at home," she said. "I couldn't do my job because there was a constant stream of trying to pay attention to this person who needed me and wouldn't let me do anything else." Now, the "This Is Us" star, who married Taylor Goldsmith in November 2018, is grateful that she didn't have children with the singer-songwriter. "I think I just innately knew, let's wait for things to settle down and find some even ground before I venture into that," she said.
During an interview with The Sun that hit the Internet on Feb. 18, Dolly Parton shut down rumors that she and her best friend of more than six decades, childhood pal Judy Ogle, are secretly a couple, saying that she's "not gay" but that people jump to conclusions because they think "you can't really have a great relationship with a woman." Said the iconic singer, "Well, people love to talk, people love to gossip. They've said that about Oprah [and bestie Gayle King] but it's not true." Dolly also opened up about her marriage of more than 50 years to Carl Dean: "He's a good man. It is a true love story and he's my best buddy — he's crazy, he's funny," she said. "So I think laughter has been a big part of our relationship. We both have a lot of fun."
During a mid-February appearance on Kendall Jenner's Apple Music show, "Zaza World Radio," Hailey Bieber opened up about getting married to Justin Bieber so young: "It's definitely scary to be this young and be married," she said. "But it's also the person that I've literally been in love with for so many years. So that's the best part about it: I feel like he's my best friend and we just get to do life together forever now. But I think the forever aspect for me is just like, you don't think about that until you get married. And then you're like, 'OK, this is really, like, this is forever,' meaning, like, there is no end." She went on to say that as someone who'd never been in a serious relationship before tying the knot, "trying to cohabitate with someone and learn how to do life with another person" has been "interesting" and "so different" because she's always been "so independent" and now you have to consider another person." That said, she doesn't feel like being married is that different from being in a serious, long-term relationship except that there's a different level of commitment: "The only thing that changes is you've just made a commitment to, like, have to work things out," she said. "It feels great. The most certainty you can have in a relationship is marriage."
On the Feb. 19 episode of E!'s "Busy Tonight," Nikki Bella and Brie Bella opened up about Nikki's date with Peter Kraus — who competed for Rachel Lindsay's heart on Season 13 of "The Bachelorette." Said Nikki, "That was, like, my first date in over six or seven years. It was so awkward … and I totally got drunk." The reality star went on to say that she felt "so weird" going out on a first date in front of the "Total Bellas" camera crew, adding that she "didn't even really want to flirt because it just was so awkward" and that the whole thing "embarrassed" her "a lot." Brie chimed in to confirm that her twin sister was, in fact, "very awkward." But she disagreed on one point: "You flirted," said Brie. "It was really bad. I'm like, 'My sister needs help on dating.' She's not a good dater. … You need help." So is "The Bachelorette" on the table for Nikki? "Hell, no," she said. "I don't know how they do that. And they kiss like everyone. … How do they not spread germs?"
Brielle Biermann and ex-boyfriend Slade Osborne, who called it quits in 2015, started hanging out again in late 2018, but they didn't quite rekindle their romance. "I'm single," the 21 year old told Page Six as part of an interview that hit the Internet on Feb. 20. "We definitely tried [dating again] and you'll see how that plays out on 'Don't Be Tardy.' He's a great guy and still a close friend of mine, and I think he always will be." But that doesn't mean she's completely out of the game: "I'm also dating, which is interesting because I'm dating some friends, and it's definitely awkward," she said, explaining that she "wasn't gonna put a random on a dinner date with me." Added Brielle, "I'm gonna test it out with my friends first and then see what happens. And it definitely didn't happen." So would she try a dating app? "Oh, absolutely not. Those are weird," said the reality star. Mom Kim Zolciak-Biermann then chimed in, "She has more people in her DMs. It's almost, like, insane."
During an interview with Variety that hit the Internet on Feb. 19, Gwyneth Paltrow opened up about how her breakup from Brad Pitt inspired her to sign on for 1998's "Shakespeare in Love." Explained the Oscar winner, "I was in the middle of a terrible breakup … and the idea of going to England and being far from home just seemed… I didn't even read [the script]. I was just like, 'I can't read anything right now. I'm having a really hard time.'" Two decades later, the A-lister's second husband, Brad Falchuk, referenced the film in his wedding vows: "In my husband's wedding vows, he actually said it's no coincidence that I played [Shakespeare's] muse, because that's who I am to him, and his perception is that's who I am in real life. It was really sweet," she told Variety. Gwyneth also revealed that Jack Nicholson asked her out before he presented her Oscar for "Shakespeare in Love" to her during the 1999 Academy Awards: "He'd been trying to ask me out before, and I was like, 'I have a boyfriend!'" she recalled.
"Sister Wives" star Mariah Brown proposed to her girlfriend of two years, Audrey Kriss, at the Women's March in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 16, they told People magazine as part of a Feb. 15 report. "We had just started dating when we came for the first time two years ago and it was such a special time for us that I wanted to propose there," said Mariah, adding that she "had a huge crush on Audrey" for a little more than a year before they started dating. "There are a lot of things about Audge that I am so in love with and I knew that I wanted to love those things for the rest of my life. She made me a better person and continues to make me a better person," she continued. As for how "Sister Wives" patriarch Kody Brown took the engagement, "I actually think my dad almost cried!" said Mariah. "He really likes Audrey. All of our friends have been so sweet and offering to help and our families are obviously excited to share their input."
During a Feb. 19 appearance on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen," Kristen Doute said that she and her boyfriend of three years, Brian Carter, are "figuring it out" — "it" being the current status of their relationship. Added the "Vanderpump Rules" star, "We'll let you all know when we get to that place." Replied Andy to the forlorn-looking reality personality, "OK, doesn't sound promising."
According to Radar Online, a judge ordered Natalie Maines to fork over $2,500 in sanctions to her estranged husband, "Heroes" alum Adrian Pasdar, as part of their increasingly nasty divorce proceedings. Since the Dixie Chicks singer filed for divorce in mid-2017, the former couple have frequently argued about money matters in court, with the actor claiming he's going broke and can no longer pay his legal fees. In early February, Adrian accused his ex of deciding to "aggressively litigate this divorce, knowing that [I have] no access to funds to pay the substantial past and future attorneys' fees and costs." Apparently the judge agreed!
During an interview with The New York Times Magazine that hit the Internet on Feb. 15, Meg Ryan opened up about her engagement to John Mellencamp: "What's great about [being in a relationship] now is that John and I are so free to have fun. Maybe that freedom is about being a million years old. But I sometimes think relationships are for aliens. Who does it? Who can do it? I don't know how any of us ever do."
During an interview with People magazine that hit the Internet on Feb. 15, Avril Lavigne said that she hasn't given up on love in spite of experiencing two divorces (first from Deryck Whibley and then from Chad Kroeger). "I believe in love," she said. But as far as marriage is concerned? "I don't really care so much about that; I just care about being in a healthy relationship and just being happy," said the singer, who's been linked to Phillip Sarofim since mid-2018. Though she told People, "I don't want to talk about my dating life," Avril was more open about the current state of her relationship with husband No. 2: "Chad and I are super-close," she said. "I'm really grateful to have had someone like him in my life."
During an interview with Brides that hit the Internet on Feb. 14, Lea Michele said that she asked Ryan Murphy to officiate her upcoming nuptials. The singer-actress also said that "Glee" co-star Darren Criss "better perform" at her wedding considering she performed at his! But first, she and her fiancé, Zandy Reich, need to set a venue. (They've yet to decide if they'll tie the knot on the East Coast, on the West Coast or somewhere in between.) Though she declined to identify who designed her wedding dress, Lea offered a few hints about its vibe: "Someone said to me and my fiancé, 'You want to look at your photos and feel like it's classic,' and I think a lot of people go on trends, and I think that that's great, but I want to look back and feel like this is a classic — this will look good, stand the test of time," she said.
Us Weekly reported on Feb. 13 that, according to a source, Selena Gomez "isn't necessarily looking to date right now." Instead, she's "focusing on her mental health and has been reading, exercising, eating well and spending time with her close friends and family." The singer-actress spent more than a month at a psychiatric facility in late 2018.
