Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the celebrities who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in early August 2018, starting with this messy split… After nearly two years of dating, it's over for Kourtney Kardashian, 39, and boxer-turned-model Younes Bendjima, 25, multiple outlets reported on Aug. 7. Us Weekly and TMZ claimed that Kourtney is the one who ended things and revealed that Younes quickly moved on: On Aug. 6, he was photographed in Mexico getting very, very cozy with Jordan Ozuna, whom TMZ notes is a former Hooters waitress who's been linked to both Tyga and Justin Bieber. On Aug. 8, TMZ shed more light on the breakup, claiming that the mother of three actually dumped Younes during the second week of July not long after they returned from a lengthy vacation in Italy. TMZ was told that he headed off on another holiday without Kourtney during which he cheated on her, which led to the split. The breakup news comes just weeks after Younes made headlines for throwing shade at Kourtney on Instagram after she posted a sexy booty pic. One person who's happy about the split is Kourtney's ex and baby daddy, Scott Disick. "Scott is very happy Kourtney cut it off with Younes," an insider told E! News. "Although he is happy in his relationship with Sofia [Richie], he never liked Younes for Kourtney."

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's divorce and custody battle just keeps getting nastier. Nearly two years after Angelina left Brad, filed for divorce and asked a judge to award her full custody of their six kids, they're still legally wed. Multiple new reports published this week reveal a situation rife with tension. On Aug. 4, TMZ claimed that Angelina's longtime attorney, celebrity go-to Laura Wasser, was ready to quit because the actress has been making the battle with Brad way more contentious than it needed to be (Angelina's rep told People magazine Laura was not quitting) and also revealed that Angelina was hiring another law firm. On Aug. 6, Us Weekly quoted a source who said Angelina "has objected to the coparenting classes" recommended by the retired judge overseeing their case while Brad was "willing to try" the courses. That source further claimed that Angelina's "big issue continues to be sharing joint custody with Brad. She can't see past her anger for Brad that he is on his way to getting joint custody." An insider told E! News early on Aug. 7 that "Brad and Angelina are not even close to settling their divorce. They are so hung up on dealing with the custody issues that they haven't even exchanged any financial documents yet, which is routine in divorces and one of the first steps people take in the filing process." Later that same day, Angelina's team dropped some new bombshells: One of her new attorneys filed legal papers asking the court to issue a final divorce decree this year, TMZ reported, and accused Brad of failing to pay "meaningful child support" while neglecting to honor his and Angie's "informal arrangement" on support payments. Angelina wants the court to issue a formal child support order as well as retroactive payments. The following day, Brad's lawyers responded, insisting her claims are false. In court papers obtained by TMZ, they say Angie's filing is "a thinly-veiled effort to manipulate media coverage" and reveal that Brad has ponied up more than $9 million so far, loaning his ex $8 million so she could buy the current home where she and the children live along with $1.3 million in child support. The papers she recently filed, his lawyers claim, are "calculated to increase the conflict."
Just a few months after Arie Luyendyk Jr. broke her heart when he called off their engagement and proposed to runner-up, Lauren Burnham, Becca Kufrin got her happy ending. The star of "The Bachelorette" picked contestant Garrett Yrigoyen over runner-up Blake Horstmann during the show's Maldives-set Aug. 6 finale episode. The divorced medical sales rep from Reno, Nevada — who presented the Minnesota publicist with an 18-karat yellow gold Neil Lane ring featuring nearly 4 carats of diamonds — are now engaged and planning to move in together.

It's over for Hayden Panettiere and her fiancé of five years, two-time world heavyweight champion boxer Wladimir Klitschko. The breakup news was made public on Aug. 3, one day after the "Nashville" actress was photographed in Los Angeles holding hands with an attractive mystery man — who was later identified as aspiring actor Brian Hickerson. Hayden's mother, Lesley Vogel, told Radar Online, "there are a lot of changes going on in her life. But I think they're positive changes. And I think that she's taking some time." E! News later confirmed the breakup with Wladimir after nine years together. "At this point, Hayden is single and she and Wladimir are co-parents to [their 3-year-old daughter] Kaya. Kaya is primarily with her dad and his family in Europe and Florida. They also spend time together as a family with Hayden," the source told E!. "Hayden and Wladimir are on great terms and friendly. They are a big part of each other's lives and will continue to be. Hayden is back in Los Angeles and figuring out what's next." Days later, E! News reported that Hayden and Brian met through mutual friends and "hit it off" quickly." An insider told E! that Brian, who moved to LA from South Carolina to work in real estate and try to break into acting, "has been her sounding board since Hayden split from Wladimir and has really been there for her. They have been seeing each other for the past month and are hooking up."
She's married — again! Model and former "The Real Housewives of Miami" star Joanna Krupa, who divorced Romain Zago in 2017, secretly wed businessman Douglas Nunes in a civil ceremony in Los Angeles in July, DailyMail.com reported, three weeks before they had a religious ceremony in her native Poland on Aug. 4. Joanna and Douglas, who announced their engagement five months ago, invited just a small contingent of friends and family members to witness their nuptials at Krakow's historic Tyniec Abbey. Joanna, who walked down the aisle as an organist played Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love," wore a figure-hugging off-the-shoulder white wedding dress by Polish designer Sylwia Romaniuk for the church ceremony.
Kris Jenner's jewelry and behavior on the Aug. 7 episode of "The Late Late Show With James Corden" are fueling rumors that she and boyfriend Corey Gamble, 37, could be engaged. The Kardashian dynasty matriarch, 63, refused to confirm or deny it when, during a game of "Spill Your Guts of Fill Your Guts," James pointed out that she's been wearing a massive diamond ring on her left-hand ring finger and asked if she and Corey, who've been together for nearly four years, were engaged. "No, I am not going to answer," Kris said, plucking a bug from a bowl of crickets as the camera cut to Corey, who was smiling backstage. James prodded her. "The ring's right there, it's a real giveaway," he said. Kris' cryptic response? "This isn't the ring." James pounced: "But there IS a ring!" Kris left it there. In 2017, the momager hinted that it's unlikely she'll ever marry again. "You know, I've done that twice and it didn't work out so well," she told Ellen DeGeneres that February. "So I don't know — you never know. I'm going to take a page out of Goldie [Hawn] and Kurt [Russell]'s book. Or Kourtney [Kardashian]'s book. I think as long as things are going so well, why ruffle it up?"
The couple that prays together stays together? That seems to be the case for Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger, who joined one another for church services for the second Sunday in a row on Aug. 5, after which Chris joined her family for dinner at the Los Angeles home of her mother, journalist Maria Shriver. People magazine reported that Katherine's brother Patrick Schwarzenegger shared a video from the meal on his Instagram Story in which Chris can be heard politely declining more food from his seat at the end of the table next to Katherine. TMZ also posted photos of the couple riding Bird scooters in Maria's Brentwood neighborhood the same day.
Here's a quick one! On Aug. 2, news broke about Iggy Azalea's new man — Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins. The NFL star confirmed the romance on Instagram after a series of flirtatious exchanges with the Australian rapper on the social media platform, SportsGossip.com reported. That day, DeAndre posted a photo of himself in football gear and captioned it, "My Aussies call me Legend." Iggy liked the photo and replied, "I could think of a few other things to call you." He came back with, "Could think of a few to call you myself." When one of DeAndre's followers asked him if he was Iggy's boyfriend, he answered, "Yes indeed." Days later, Iggy confessed to Miami radio station Y100, "Yeah, we're in a relationship." But that wasn't entirely true, apparently! Hours later Iggy seemed to have second thoughts, tweeting about her single status while DeAndre tweeted on Aug. 9, "Y'all know I can care less about social media , but ya boi is SINGLE!!" That was fast!

Jack Osbourne's wife of five and a half years, Lisa Stelly, filed for divorce in May amid In Touch's claim that Jack cheated on her with the granddaughter of "Sound of Music" star Julie Andrews, Kayti Edwards. Now Lisa has moved on with a new man. The news came to light on Aug. 2 when TMZ reported that three days earlier, Jack got into a violent altercation with Lisa's new boyfriend, actor-model-artist Michael G. Gabel. Police were called to the home Lisa shares with her and Jack's three kids after Jack allegedly showed up to talk to her about their future and punched Michael in the head when he tried to intervene. Michael refused to press charges and Jack — who later apologized, TMZ revealed — was uncooperative with cops, the report added.

According to a story published by Us Weekly on Aug. 8, J.Lo — who's notorious for her quick engagements and marriages — is actually happy with where things are even though she and the former MLB star have been a couple since early 2017. "They were ready to get married early on and talked about it. But Jennifer, who's been married three times, decided she wants to do it differently this time," a source told Us. "She's been down the marriage road and doesn't know if she wants to do it again… Everything is working out so well, she doesn't want to jinx it or change anything."
Is it really over for controversial "Southern Charm" couple Thomas Ravenel and registered nurse Ashley Jacobs? The pair, who dated for over a year, seemed to be done according to the "Reality Life With Kate Casey" podcast, which reported the news on Aug. 3. According to Kate, as reported by People magazine, Ashley "told me that she broke up with him and that she blocked his number… and that she has no intention of getting back together with him and I hope that's true." But fans of the show anticipating the pair's end might want to hit the brakes: People magazine reported that Thomas and Ashley were spotted having lunch together near his South Carolina plantation on Aug. 7. The next day, a source told E! News that the pair immediately got back together after splitting. "They have been doing this a lot lately," says the source. "It's always up and down and they fight a lot. They find a way to lure one another back in."

The Republican power couple stepped out for, appropriately enough, the Washington D.C. premiere of Dinesh D'Souza's "Death of a Nation."
Another "Housewife" franchise star is divorcing. Lizzie Rovsek from "The Real Housewives of Orange County" served husband Christian with divorce papers on July 16, Page Six learned on Aug. 7, nine months after she filed for divorce the first time. According to The Blast, the former beauty queen initially sought to end her eight-year marriage, which produced two kids, in October 2017 but, after failing to followup with the courts or serve Christian, the case was dismissed. "We have been struggling in our marriage for years and have decided to seek divorce," the couple told The Blast. "We have known each other since we were 22 years old and we have the utmost respect and love for each other. We are trying to navigate this as gracefully as possible. We will continue to have the best interest for our kids and for each other."
Sienna Miller's former fiancé Tom Sturridge, the father of her daughter, Marlowe, is dating swimwear designer Georgiana Huddart, The Sun reported on Aug. 5. The "Being Julia" and "On the Road" actor was photographed having lunch with the blonde beauty at a West London eatery on July 31. The Sun reports that Tom, a Tony-nominated actor, and Georgiana, the designer behind celeb-loved brand Hunza G, first briefly dated not long after he and Sienna split in 2015. "Now both of them are at different stages of their lives and, when their paths crossed again, they decided to give things another go… it's very early days," a source told The Sun, adding, "He clearly has a specific type because it's not hard to spot the similarities between Sienna and Georgiana."
It's over — again. On Aug. 7, Stephen Belafonte took to Instagram to reveal that his long, drawn-out divorce from Spice Girl-turned-"American's Got Talent" judge Mel B is, at last, completely settled. The exes, who announced their split in early 2017 after more than a decade together, have endured an incredibly contentious parting process rife with domestic violence claims, sex tape allegations and financial drama. "Getting out of my horrific, disastrous divorce court right now, and once again, all allegations dismissed of anything and all things dismissed," Stephen said in a video. "I went through a long year and a half, two years of being asked to give up rights to my daughter, financial things, and you know what, I stuck with it. There was nothing but lies told about me and those lies came to a halt for the second time for the second settlement. That means, guess what, it's settled, done." According to TMZ, Stephen will get $5,000 a month in child support, which is in addition to the $15,000 a month he already gets in spousal support. Mel is also on the hook for his lawyer's fees, which total $350,000. The exes are also selling their Hollywood Hills home and splitting the profits 50/50. In addition, TMZ explains, all domestic violence charges against Stephen have been dropped, and he will not lose any of his parental rights to his daughter with Mel, Madison.
