Twenty One Pilots rocker Josh Dun proposed to "Insatiable" actress Debby Ryan in a very romantic way on Dec. 22. "I found a tree house in the woods in New Zealand and proposed to my girl," the drummer wrote on Instagram. "She my dude for life. I love you Debby." Josh also surprised the former Disney star by flying in her brother and sister-in-law for an engagement dinner celebration. The couple have been dating on and off since 2013.

After seven years of on-and-off dating, Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp are engaged! The actress confirmed the happy news with an Instagram post — a simple drawing of herself and John that she captioned, "ENGAGED!"

In a Rolling Stone cover story released in late October, Zoe Kravitz revealed that she and her boyfriend of the past couple years, actor Karl Glusman, have been engaged since February 2018. "Malcolm in the Middle" alum Frankie Muniz proposed marriage to girlfriend Paige Price in November — and she said yes! People magazine reported that his agent confirmed the news after Paige — with whom the former child star owns and runs Outrageous Olive Oils and Vinegars in Scottsdale, Arizona — posted about her love on Instagram. The proposal appears to have taken place at the Lantern Fest at the Pinal Fairgrounds & Event Center in Casa Grande, Arizona.

Teddy Geiger, who announced in 2017 that she was transitioning from male to female, was quick to say yes when "Schitt's Creek" actress Emily Hampshire popped the question on Nov. 10. "Which is why… When she asked me if I wanted to spend the rest of our lives together I said… YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES INFINITE YES ♥️ I love u @emilyhampshire," the transgender singer-songwriter captioned a photo on Instagram after the proposal. Emily likewise took to social media to express her engagement joy. In October, after weeks of speculation, Rosie O'Donnell, 56, confirmed to People magazine that she is engaged to Elizabeth Rooney, 33, a Massachusetts police officer and Army veteran whom she's been dating for the last year.

On Dec. 6, musician Trace Cyrus announced that he and Taylor Lauren Sanders were engaged. "Well… It's official! SHE SAID YES! We're getting married! I will love you FOREVER," Miley Cyrus's big brother captioned a video showing off his new fiancée's engagement ring moments after the proposal.

Another Cyrus is engaged too: Musician-model Braison Cyrus took to Instagram on Nov. 23 to share the news that he'd popped the question to visual merchandiser Stella McBride. "She said yes 💍 My life has changed in so many amazing ways this year but the most amazing has been meeting and falling in love with you. I love you with all my heart and I cannot wait to marry you," Braison captioned a slideshow of photos revealing her non-traditional ring.

Eddie Murphy, 57, and Paige Butcher, 39, are engaged, his rep confirmed to Us Weekly on Sept. 28. The news comes four days after the model, who's pregnant with their second child (and Eddie's 10th), was seen wearing a large diamond ring on her left-hand ring finger. Paige and Eddie have been dating since 2012 and are also parents to daughter Izzy, 2.

Days after announcing her pregnancy in September, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Porsha Williams also confirmed her engagement to boyfriend Dennis McKinley. E! News reported that the proposal will be shown on the next season of her Bravo show.

Nearly a year after they first sparked engagement speculation, Lady Gaga finally confirmed that she and her agent, Christian Carino, are indeed engaged. Talk about a whirlwind romance! After just a couple of weeks of dating, Ariana Grande and "Saturday Night Live" star Pete Davidson got engaged in early June. A few weeks later during a June 20 visit to "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon," Pete told the host, "I feel like I won a contest, so sick… it's so lit." Two eyewitnesses told TMZ that Justin, 24, popped the question at an island resort. People eating at a restaurant on the property were salsa dancing when Justin's security guards told people to put away their phones because something special was about to happen — then Justin proposed. The next day, Justin's father, Jeremy Bieber, posted a photo of Justin on Instagram with the caption, "Proud is an understatement! Excited for the next chapter!" Contestant Chris "Swaggy C" Williams proposed to Bayleigh Dayton on the live Season 20 finale of "Big Brother" on Sept. 26 — the first time they'd seen each other since Chris was evicted 23 days into the competition, which is where they met and fell for one another. The day trader got down on one knee and the flight attendant accepted. On the show's livefeed in August, Bayleigh was heard telling a fellow contestant that she thought she might be expecting, though she said she hadn't yet taken a pregnancy test. On Sept. 28, Bayleigh revealed that she had indeed been pregnant with Swaggy's baby but had, sadly, miscarried while in the jury house.

On Sept. 1, TV and film producer Randall Emmett proposed to Lala Kent while vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, for the "Vanderpump Rules" star's 28th birthday. "Last night was the best night of my entire life. I got engaged to the man of my dreams. I get to call this amazing human my fiancé! An engagement last night, my birthday today, and every sign my [late] dad could possibly send me to let me know he's here. Former "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Dina Manzo confirmed that she's engaged to David Canin during an Aug. 22 appearance on the SiriusXM Radio Andy show "Jeff Lewis Live." "We've always been engaged," she said. "We got engaged once, early in our relationship, and then we both realized it was way too early. And then we got engaged again last year."

Comedian-writer-producer Whitney Cummings announced her engagement on Instagram on Sept. 4, which was her 36th birthday. "Today I got engaged. I handled it great! The couple announced their happy news in the Births, Marriages and Deaths section of the UK's The Times newspaper on Aug. 7: "The engagement is announced between Caspar, son of The Hon Nicholas Jopling of Yorkshire and Mrs Jayne Warde-Aldam of Yorkshire, and Elena, daughter of Mr Arthur Goulding of Herefordshire and Mrs Tracey Sumner of West Midlands." Since becoming a star, Ellie has famously dated or been linked to a slew of bold-faced names including Skrillex, Prince Harry, McFly's Dougie Poynter, Ed Sheeran and Niall Horan. Caspar, a former rower for team Great Britain, went to England's prestigious Eton College then studied art and architecture history and film at Harvard before going on to work for Sotheby's.

Another "The Bachelorette" couple is engaged! On the Aug. 6 finale set in the Maldives, star Becca Kufrin chose contestant Garrett Yrigoyen over runner-up Blake Horstmann — after which the divorced medical sales rep from Reno, Nevada, proposed marriage with an 18-karat yellow gold Neil Lane ring featuring nearly 4 carats of diamonds.

Singer Leona Lewis and her choreographer boyfriend of eight years, Dennis Jauch, recently got engaged, People magazine confirmed on Aug. 6. Leona, who won Britain's "The X Factor" in 2006, showed off her beautiful diamond engagement ring in a series of posts on her Instagram Story the same day.

"Jane the Virgin" star Gina Rodriguez sparked engagement speculation after she and actor and Muay Thai fighter Joe LoCicero posted photos from a vacation to Mexico — where they celebrated Gina's 34th birthday in late July — in which she's wearing a huge diamond ring on that special finger. Us Weekly reported on July 30 that they pair are indeed engaged, and on Aug. 7, Gina confirmed the happy news herself. "I have a very, very special man in my life. On July 24, news broke that model Karlie Kloss and her boyfriend of six years, venture capitalist Joshua Kushner, were engaged. A source told People magazine that Josh — whose brother is Ivanka Trump's husband, businessman-turned-presidential adviser Jared Kushner — "proposed a few weeks ago during a romantic weekend together in upstate New York." Karlie took to Instagram the same day to confirm the news, captioning a photo of herself with her new fiancé, "I love you more than I have words to express. They married in November.

Country singer Lauren Alaina is getting married! On July 21, she announced the happy news on Instagram. EEEK. 💍❤️," she captioned a photo of herself wearing her new engagement ring while kissing longtime love Alex Hopkins, whom she's been dating since 2012. More than a year after they were first romantically linked, David Foster and Katharine McPhee are engaged! The music producer, 68, proposed to the singer-actress, 34, during a summer vacation in Europe, TMZ reported on July 3. Katharine's rep confirmed the engagement news. It will be David's fifth marriage — he split from fourth wife Yolanda Hadid in 2015 — and Katharine's second.

Victoria's Secret model Izabel Goulart confirmed on July 5 that she and German soccer player Kevin Trapp, whom she's been dating since 2016, are engaged. "Soon to be Mrs Trapp 🙏❤️💍 When you meet the one who changes your life in every sense then you are sure that he is the right one!" she captioned an Instagram video of them kissing and showing off her engagement ring. On June 12, actress Yolanda Pecora took to Instagram to share a photo of her engagement ring from "Malcolm in the Middle" alum Chris Masterson, which she captioned with a heart emoji. Page Six reported that the newly engaged couple are both Scientologists who've been dating for more than three years.

Chance the Rapper is ready to wed his longtime love. The Grammy winner proposed to the mother of his 2-year-old daughter, Kensli, at a backyard barbecue on July 4. The Shade Room posted a video of the proposal in which the Grammy winner asks, "Kirsten Katrina Corley, will you make me a man and be my wife?" while down on one knee as friends and family cheer in the background.

"Dancing With the Stars" pros Valentin Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson got engaged in Venice, Italy, then shared their happy news with fans on social media on June 14. "I knew the moment I met you, you were the man of my dreams and I wanted to be with you forever. Babychka thank you for making my fairytale come true today! Cannot believe I get to call you my FIANCÉ!!!! #engaged," Jenna captioned an Instagram photo slideshow of the moment Val popped the question and she said yes. On June 29, actress-comedian Colleen Ballinger — perhaps best known as YouTube star Miranda Sings — revealed that she and "Haters Back Off!" co-star Erik Stocklin were engaged! On June 23, model Devon Windsor announced via Instagram that her boyfriend of two years, Jonathan Barbara, had proposed in the Bahamas. "When you think you're flying into a photoshoot and then you look down and see this…. this was the best day of my life and I cannot wait to marry the best person in the whole universe! I'm the luckiest woman in the world!" the Victoria's Secret model captioned a photo showing the words "marry me?" spelled out in red roses on a sand bar as she arrived via seaplane. Her new fiancé and her agent tricked her into thinking she was headed to a photo shoot.

Just days before starting a 20-year prison sentence, rapper 03 Greedo proposed to his girlfriend, eyelash extension artist Kei Bradley, during a performance at his official farewell party at the Belasco Theatre in Los Angeles on June 25. In April, the rapper pleaded guilty to possession of more than 400 grams of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a firearm.

"Gilmore Girls" actor Sean Gunn revealed on June 18 that he'd proposed to actress Natasha Halevi, whom he started dating in 2017, while on vacation in Kyoto, Japan. "I asked @tashalitas to marry me and she said yes. Or to be more precise she said, 'a million times,'" he captioned a photo of himself and his fiancée showing off her engagement ring.

Best birthday ever?! Cheryl Burke announced her engagement to Matthew Lawrence on May 3 — her 34th birthday — showing off her beautiful ring in an Instagram slideshow with her beloved. "OMG! So far so good for 34! 💍#amilliontimesyes #imengaged #herecomesthebride," the "Dancing With the Stars" pro captioned the shots, which were taken at the Montage hotel in Laguna Beach, California. On June 7, "Vanderpump Rules" stars Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright announced their engagement. "Omg omg!!!!!!!! We are ENGAGED! What a way to start our summer and season 7!! Producer Trevor Engelson — Duchess Meghan's ex-husband — announced via his private Instagram account on June 1 that he's engaged to nutritionist Tracey Kurland. He reportedly proposed to his girlfriend of three years in Napa, California.

On May 14, Taraji P. Henson announced that her boyfriend of the past few years, former NFL star Kelvin Hayden, had proposed. "I said yes y'all!!!" she wrote alongside an Instagram photo of her new diamond sparkler and a dessert plate covered in cake and chocolate covered strawberries decorated with the message "Congratulations." Taraji also told fans, "He started with the Cartier love bracelet BUT that was my #Mothersday gift and then he dropped to his knee and I almost passed out!!!" The Situation got engaged (and married) in 2018! On April 26, Us Weekly broke the news that "Jersey Shore" star Mike Sorrentino had proposed to longtime girlfriend Lauren Pesce. Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams and pastor and life coach Chad Johnson announced their engagement on April 19. The couple told People magazine that they met in March 2017 at a spiritual retreat in Arizona and that he proposed on one knee with a 5-carat diamond ring while they were on vacation in Pebble Beach, California, a year later on March 21, 2018. Chad, who's worked as a chaplain for pro sports teams including the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers, revealed that he'd been saving up for the ring for more a decade. "Ace of Cakes" star Duff Goldman announced on April 3 that he'd proposed to girlfriend Johnna Colbry — and she said yes. "I woke up yesterday and it felt like any other day. The couple tied the knot in the Bahamas in May 2018. Marty filed for divorce just a few months later in August.

Marc Jacobs proposed to boyfriend Char Defrancesco, a model and candlemaker, on April 4 in a most unexpected place: Chipotle. The fashion designer hired a flash mob to dance to Prince's "Kiss" to set the mood inside the Mexican casual-dining restaurant. Char said yes and later shared a video of the sweet proposal on social media.

A "Jersey Shore" alum is engaged again! Angelina Pivarnick, who's now an EMT in New York, said yes on Jan. 12 when her boyfriend of a year, sanitation worker Chris Larangeira — whom she's known for 14 years — proposed marriage at his home following a romantic Italian dinner. "I followed a trail of rose petals all the way to his bed," she told Us Weekly, explaining that he'd created a heart out of petals with "A&C" in the center. "He proposed and then we laid in the roses."

Darren Criss is ready to be a groom! The "Glee" alum took to Instagram on Jan. 20 to reveal that he's engaged to longtime love Mia Swier. "Mia and I have had seven and a half years of fun, wacky, wonderful, CRAZY adventures together. And I'm happy to announce that we're kicking those adventures up a notch. We're goin for it. To boldly go where neither of us have gone before. Engage," he captioned a photo of them on Instagram.

On March 25, model and former "The Real Housewives of Miami" star Joanna Krupa — who divorced Romain Zago in 2017 — confirmed that she got engaged to businessman Douglas Nunes, the president of property development and entertainment company 451 Media Group. Joanna shared the news by posting a photo of their hands, revealing a huge sparkler on her ring finger. "Just another weekend in the Krupa-Nunes household," she captioned the pic. The couple legally wed in July in a quiet civil ceremony in Los Angeles then celebrated with a religious ceremony in her native Poland in August.

"Good Morning America" anchor Lara Spencer and financial tech company CEO Rick McVey, her boyfriend of two years, announced their engagement on Jan. 5. Lara, who's also the creator and host of HGTV's "Flea Market Flip," married Rick in Vail, Colorado, over Labor Day weekend with her kids from her first marriage in attendance.

Louis Ducruet — Princess Stephanie's son, who's 12th in line to the throne of Monaco (and is the grandson of Grace Kelly) — revealed on Feb. 21 that he'd proposed to his girlfriend of five years, Marie Chevallier, whom he reportedly met while they attended Western Carolina University. "Let me introduce you the future madame Ducruet ❤️ she said yes and we are now engaged 💍💍 #withlove #engagement #proposal #iloveyou," the royal captioned a slideshow of images of the proposal. Louis' proud mom also confirmed the news. "Her Serene Highness Princess Stephanie has the joy to announce her son Louis Ducruet's engagement with Miss Marie Chevallier," read an official statement from the palace.

First, they found love in the "Big Brother" house. Then they competed on "The Amazing Race." Next, Cody Nickson and Jessica Graf got engaged during a hike in Los Angeles on Feb. 13. The finished out the year with a pregnancy and an October wedding.

Another Monaco royal got engaged in 2018: On March 24, Princess Caroline of Monaco's eldest daughter, Charlotte Casiraghi, wore a diamond ring to the 64th Annual Bal de la Rose in Monte Carlo with film producer Dimitri Rassam by her side. It was their first official red carpet as a couple and served as a confirmation that they were betrothed. People magazine reported that Dimitri proposed in early March during a family ski vacation in Austria after more than a year of dating. Reports claim the couple will marry in July. Charlotte has a son, Raphael, with ex-boyfriend Gad Elmaleh, a Moroccan-French stand-up comic and actor from whom she split in 2015.

Gigi Gorgeous is ready to walk down the aisle! The YouTube star announced that she and her girlfriend of two years, model, designer and heiress Nats Getty (the great-granddaughter of famed industrialist J. An Instagram video (and a YouTube clip, natch) revealed that the proposal involved a helicopter ride to a stunning chateau, a champagne toast with friends flown in for the occasion and an epic fireworks display.

On New Year's Day, singer Alexa Ray Joel — the daughter of music star Billy Joel and model Christie Brinkley — announced that her boyfriend of more than four years, restaurateur Ryan Gleason, had proposed. "So I was completely taken off-guard, dumbstruck, and shell-shocked- and FOR ONCE in my life, I had absolutely no words, and I couldn't speak… I just kept staring at this ridiculously exquisite ring- and he was just hysterically laughing at me!!!" she wrote on Instagram. These Heathers are getting married! On Jan. 11, Heather Matarazzo proposed to writer-comedian Heather Turman. "I asked…..and she said yes. To death and back, I love you, Turman," the star of "Welcome to the Dollhouse" and "The Princess Diaries" captioned a slideshow of Instagram photos from the proposal. Her new fiancée also shared a sweet message on social media, writing, "I'm engaged to the absolute, unequivocal love of my life. I never knew I could find someone that matches me the way she does, in all ways… always.

"The West Wing" alum Bradley Whitford, who split from actress Jane Kaczmarek in 2009 after nearly 16 years of marriage, is ready to wed again. The actor is engaged to his former "Transparent" co-star Amy Landecker, he revealed on the Oscars red carpet on March 4 when he called her his "fiancée." (His rep later confirmed the engagement news to People magazine.) After less than a year of dating, Tommy Lee proposed to Vine star Brittany Furlan, who will be wife No. 4. "Well this certainly beats chocolates! Say hello to future Mrs. Lee 🙈💕 #engaged," the rocker captioned a Valentine's Day video revealing Brittany's heart-shaped diamond engagement ring.

Chef and personal trainer Dean Sheremet is engaged to filmmaker Vanessa Black. After splitting on "The Bachelor Winter Games," the pair reconnected after they returned home from shooting. "You never give up on life, and this is the best thing about you, and I would never, ever give up on you. I feel there is someone up there watching us right now," the former "The Bachelorette Canada" suitor said before proposing to Clare in French. But by early April, it was over again. "Pretty Little Liars" alum Brant Daugherty announced on Feb. 26 that he's engaged to actress and realtor Kim Hidalgo, his girlfriend since October 2016, Us Weekly reported. On Valentine's Day, Canadian R&B singer Melanie Fiona revealed that singer-songwriter Jared Cotter, with whom she shares son Cameron, had just proposed — and done it in the sneakiest of ways. It's only been three days and I'm already the happiest bride to be on the planet!" she wrote alongside a slideshow of photos of herself with her groom-to-be, whom she reportedly started dating in November 2016. But in late April, Page Six reported, Nick called off their engagement while Tracy, who has two kids from previous relationships, was believed to be in the first trimester of pregnancy.
