Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the stars who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in late July 2019, starting with one of our favorite pop stars… People.com published exclusive photos of the singer-actress smooching her 37-year-old monitor engineer, Dan Horton, while brunching at Granville restaurant in Studio City, California, on July 28. "They were kissing as they spoke really close up," a witness told People of the duo's hour-long meal. "She had a table in the front near the sidewalk, so she was clearly OK with being seen. … She seemed very happy when interacting with the guy she was with." According to the magazine, "multiple onlookers" said that Gaga and Dan, who've been working together since late 2018, "appeared to be more than friends" and kissed "multiple times" during their outing. On July 30, Radar Online reported that, according to court documents, Dan divorced actress Autumn Guzzardi in early 2018 following five years of marriage. Hannah Brown accepted a proposal from Jed Wyatt on the finale of Season 15 of "The Bachelorette," which aired on July 30. But they're no longer together. The former beauty queen gave him the boot in mid-June — five weeks after they got engaged in Greece — when his ex-girlfriend, Haley Stevens, told several media outlets that they were still a couple when he left to appear on the show and that he ghosted her when he got back. In a segment shot after their engagement, Hannah confronted Jed about Haley's allegations, which he downplayed, telling Hannah that he and Haley only "hung out a few times," that he "didn't feel like it was an exclusive thing" and that "it never felt like a relationship" to him … even though he admittedly told Haley he loved her, vacationed abroad with her and introduced her to his parents. He also fessed up to seeing other women while he and Haley were dating and told Hannah that he ended his relationship with her "in my heart, not verbally." But Hannah wasn't having it. Even though Jed apologized profusely, told her he still loves her and is willing to do whatever it takes to fix things between them, her trust in him was irrevocably damaged. "I'm not trying to punish you, but my feelings have changed, and I think when that trust was broken, my feelings really just were broke with that, and I don't love you like that anymore," she told him. The finale ended with a reunion between Hannah and her runner-up, Tyler Cameron, who agreed to get a drink sometime as "normal people" to see if a relationship could be in their future. "I think it's really important that if any type of relationship is going to happen for Tyler and I, that we hang out, and just see where we're at, and if that's friends, if it's more, I'm good with that," Hannah later told "Entertainment Tonight." Second runner-up Peter Weber, meanwhile, told Bachelor Nation host Chris Harrison that "a little piece of my heart will always love" Hannah but that he's been "moving on" and "trying to find closure" following their split.
During an interview with People magazine that hit the Internet on July 30, Peter Weber denied his ex-girlfriend Calee Lutes' claims that he dumped her to compete for Hannah Brown's heart on Season 15 of "The Bachelorette." Said the pilot, "The show had absolutely nothing to do with me ending that relationship. … I was very serious in trying to progress that relationship and move it forward, and she wasn't on the same page as me. That being said, I wasn't going to waste her time or my time. But the casting process and my first interview was months after we broke up." He added of his ex's reaction to his time on the dating show, "It's obvious that I hurt someone that I really did care about. … That was never my intention. And for that I'm sorry. Breakups suck!"
According to E! News, Nicki Minaj and her boyfriend of less than a year, Kenneth "Zoo" Petty, obtained a marriage license from a courthouse in Beverly Hills on July 29. (The rapper claimed back in June that they'd already gotten a marriage license, and while it's possible she simply misspoke, it's also possible that the pair were forced to get a second marriage license when the original became invalid after 90 days passed.) Nicki also sparked speculation that she and Kenneth are getting married (and expecting a child) in her verse on Chance the Rapper's "Zanies and Fools," which dropped on July 26. On the track, she addresses her history with her beau — they dated when she was a teenager in New York City and reconnected after he got out of prison for first-degree manslaughter: "I met my husband when I was 17 out in Queens / If you love it, let it go. Now I know what that means / While he was up north for a body, I bodied everybody and got known for my body / My [man] home now. He the Clyde to my Bonnie / 'Bout to walk down the aisle and be a mommy / Oh, I remember when I cried like, 'Why me?' Now I wouldn't exchange my life for Armani," she raps. The same day the song dropped, Nicki defended her controversial beau on her "Queen Radio" Beats 1 show: "When a person is with a [man] that loved them before they had a dime in their pocket? How do you not understand that? How do you not understand happiness versus clout? How [expletive] dare you talk about lowering standards," she said. "It's the truth. Money cannot buy me happiness and good sex."
Elizabeth Olsen and Robbie Arnett are engaged after three years of dating, People magazine reported on July 30. It's unclear when exactly the Milo Greene rocker popped the question.
Also on July 30, The Blast noted that Ashley Olsen may have secretly married her love of about two years, artist Louis Eisner. The evidence? The former child star has been seen wearing the same bauble on her ring finger multiple times over the course of July 2019.
Stassi Schroeder took to Instagram on July 31 to announce that she and her boyfriend of a little more than a year, Beau Clark, are engaged. "OMG. I feel like Meghan Markle," she captioned a photo of herself and her love goofing off with her new engagement bling on full display.
In other "Vanderpump Rules" news… Though they purportedly tied the knot in 2016 as Bravo cameras rolled, Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney were never really married — as Lance Bass accidentally revealed on July 10. Two weeks later, the pair jetted off to Las Vegas to finally make their marriage official. On July 24, they obtained a marriage license. The following night, they tied the knot (again) in a Western-themed ceremony attended by "Vanderpump Rules" co-stars Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix, Stassi Schroeder, Lala Kent and Lisa Vanderpump.
"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Cynthia Bailey and her boyfriend of a little more than a year, Mike Hill, got engaged at the grand opening of her new Atlanta-based business, The Bailey Wine Cellar, on July 26. According to People magazine, which published exclusive photos of the proposal, the sports journalist popped the question with a 5-carat princess-cut solitaire. Mike reportedly got a helping hand during the proposal from Cynthia's teen daughter and his two teen daughters, who held up a handmade sign reading, "Can we be a family?" as he got down on one knee.
Shannon Beador took to Instagram on July 26 to debut her new boyfriend: insurance brokerage firm exec John Janssen, whom she reportedly met through mutual friends and started seeing a couple months ago. "She's not seeing anyone else. She is very into him and he's a really good guy," a source told Radar Online, which was first to identify the reality star's new man, who's also recently divorced. "He's met her kids and several of her co-stars. Everyone is really happy for her because she has finally found herself a guy that she deserves," continued the insider. "He's really romantic and she just thinks that he is the perfect guy! … He is very successful and well-respected in Orange County." An Us Weekly source, meanwhile, said that Shannon is "super-happy" with John. "She's met his kids, her kids have met him. Everyone likes him," said the source.

In March, the music mogul insisted that he and Steve Harvey's 22-year-old stepdaughter are just family friends, though they've been seen together (sans family members) several times since then. In June, the model took to her Instagram Story to deny that she and Diddy are engaged.
Princess Stephanie of Monaco's eldest son, Louis Ducruet, married his college sweetheart, Marie Chevalier, in a civil ceremony at Prince's Palace in Monaco on July 26. The following day, the duo tied the knot for a second time in a religious ceremony at the Cathedral of Our Lady Immaculate in Monaco — the same venue where his grandparents, Prince Rainier II and Grace Kelly, exchanged vows in 1956.
Are "Queer Eye" co-stars Jonathan Van Ness and Antoni Porowski really a couple? The duo have been teasing fans about their possible relationship all month — they even launched a joint couple's Instagram account on July 4. (See it here.) Their cast mate Karamo Brown seemingly confirmed the rumors in the comments section of a photo of the three of them together that JVN posted on Instagram on July 30 — though it's possible he's simply in on the joke. In the shot, Jonathan and Antoni are smiling while reaching for each other's hands. In the background, Karamo can be seen flashing the bird. "These pics are so cute I posted another one. I love my Antoni bae & @karamo jealousy doesn't look good on you," JVN wrote in the caption. Commented Karamo, "Hahahahaha I love you both! And for all who are asking. It's real. They are a couple and in love. First Fab 5 couple." Later, Us Weekly reported that, according to a source, "Antoni and Jonathan are very, very close, but are not boyfriends." Indeed, Antoni later tweeted, "Also for clarification, @jvn & I are a couple…. of very close friends who run a satirical couple account and may fall in love someday, but that day is not necessarily today."

Stop us if you've heard this one before: Jordyn Woods made headlines for partying with Khloe Kardashian's former love at a nightclub in Houston on July 24. According to TMZ, sources close to Kylie Jenner's former BFF claim it was just a coincidence that Jordyn and James Harden were seen together: The basketball star and his buddies are reportedly friendly with some of her pals. The Jordyn sources note that she and James "hardly spent any time" together during their night out on the town, didn't make plans to see each other and didn't arrive or leave the club together. But TMZ's other sources paint a different picture of the hangout, alleging that Jordyn and James have been spending time together for months — even before Jordyn's Tristan Thompson cheating scandal. "We're told Jordyn told friends Khloe was totally cool with her hanging with Harden, but Khloe had no idea," TMZ writes. In February, there were reports that Jordyn and James hooked up sometime after his split from the reality star.
Speaking of Tristan Thompson… The basketball star took to Twitter on July 31 to deny longstanding rumors that he and ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig, with whom he has a son, were still together when he and Khloe Kardashian started dating. "When I met Khloe I was SINGLE. The negative comments that are constantly being directed towards her are unnecessary. She does not deserve all this backlash for my wrong doings. Both Khloe and Jordan have been nothing but great mothers to my kids," he tweeted.
Amid Amber Portwood's recent legal drama, there have been conflicting reports about whether or not her boyfriend, Andrew Glennon, cheated on her. In early July, a source told Us Weekly that the "Teen Mom" star "wasn't just upset out of nowhere" when she got into a physical altercation with her beau on July 5. "There were things going on between her and Andrew that led to this," said the source. "For the most part, it has been good, but lately a few issues have popped up that have made her question things and challenge her trust in him…" At the time, though, the insider said that the incident was "not the end of their relationship" because the pair "still really care about each other." Then on July 17, Amber raised eyebrows when she shared and then quickly deleted an Instagram post reading, "Cheating is a choice not a mistake." A second source told Us Weekly that Amber and Andrew "love each other but as things intensify, it's becoming a more difficult situation to navigate and come back from." Another source, however, said that Andrew "has been nothing but faithful and loving to Amber since the day they met." Still another source added that Andrew "has spoken about marriage on numerous occasions and has even mentioned a list of possible wedding destinations to the MTV production team in the past." But then on July 25, Us Weekly reported that the mother of two has been "devastated" since learning that her beau was "talking to another woman." A source said that the possibility of Amber and Andrew reconciling is now "looking less likely." Also on July 25, Andrew took to Instagram to deny that he cheated, posting a meme reading, "Nothing better in the world than a clean conscience." He later added in the comments section, "I just don't like being called a cheater when I'm not. If I cheated you wouldn't hear a peep from me, but I'm just not that species of animal so… conscience clean." He maintained his innocence again in a DailyMailTV interview that hit the Internet on July 29, insisting that Amber wasn't talking about him when she posted about cheating on Instagram: "My name was never mentioned in the post that she released … I guess it was just rough timing," he said. "What hurts, I guess, is the fact that she hasn't come out and made a statement to say, you know, 'I wasn't talking about Andrew. I was talking about somebody else.'"
TMZ reported on July 31 that Logic and his girlfriend, Brittney Noell, obtained a marriage license earlier in the month. It's been less than a year since the rapper finalized his divorce from his first wife, Jessica Andrea, in September 2018.
During a July 27 press conference, Orlando Bloom dished on how he and his fiancée, Katy Perry, make their long-distance relationship work: "You have to do the groundwork together, create the feeling of trust and safety so that you can spend time apart and do everything that you need to do and still feel tethered to that person, so that you can go on a journey together," he said, adding that as far as wedding planning is concerned, he and the pop star are "doing all the work necessary to lay a really grounded foundation to our relationship." Katy expressed a similar sentiment earlier in the month.
People magazine reported on July 24 that Leonardo DiCaprio and his much younger girlfriend of nearly two years, Camila Morrone, "seem pretty serious" and that what they have is "definitely not a casual relationship." The following day, the 22-year-old actress drew criticism on Instagram when she posted a slideshow of two photos of Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart, who were married for more than a decade (until his death in 1957) in spite of their 25-year age gap. "A love like this," Camila, who is 22 years younger than Leo, wrote in the caption, seemingly comparing herself and her beau to the iconic Hollywood power couple.
Us Weekly reported on July 31 that, according to a source, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello are the real deal: "[They] started off as just friends, which they have been for years, but the more time they spent together, the more they started having feelings for each other," said a source. "It quickly turned into a fun, lighthearted summer fling-type situation, but now it's developing into something more serious. … It's not a full-blown relationship yet but they also aren't seeing other people, so it's really only a matter of time."
"The Real Housewives of Potomac" star Katie Rost took to Instagram on July 26 to announce that she and her boyfriend of just five months, a man named Jesse, are engaged. Jake Paul and Tana Mongeau tied the knot at the Graffiti Mansion in Las Vegas on July 28. At the publicity-hungry pair's wedding reception, the groom's brother, fellow YouTube star Logan Paul, answered "no, no" when asked by BuzzFeed News if he thinks the newlyweds will last. "Seems a bit hasty, in my opinion. Seems a bit preemptive, one may say," he explained, adding that he gives Jake and Tana "a month, a month and a half" before they call it quits. It's unclear whether or not the duo filed paperwork to make their marriage legal.
Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo — who got engaged on the finale of Season 13 of "The Bachelorette" in August 2017 — are one step closer to tying the knot. The bride-to-be had her bachelorette party in Costa Rica over the weekend on July 26. Fellow Bachelor Nation beauties Astrid Loch, Kristina Schulman, Bibiana Julian, Alexis Waters and Whitney Fransway were all on hand for the "Camp Costa Rachel"-themed festivities.
The Blast reported on July 25 that Brandon Jenner and Leah Felder have settled their divorce: In exchange for their home in Malibu, Brandon will fork over more than $500K to his former missus, who will also get $2K in spousal support through the end of 2021, as well as $2K a month in child support. (They're sharing joint legal and physical custody of their 4-year-old daughter.) According to The Blast, the pair will split their gold coin collection, as well as royalties from their Brandon & Leah act. Leah is walking away from the marriage with a 2017 Cadillac XT5, while Brandon is keeping a 2014 Cadillac Escalade, a 1976 Ford F-2450 and a 1965 Ford Mustang.
Getting serious! Tamar Braxton took to Instagram in late July to chronicle her trip to Nigeria to meet boyfriend David Adefeso's family. She also made light of rumors that her beau has been hiding a wife and children in his home country: "And y'all was all paranoid & had me looking for a wife and kids. … just kidding my @david.adefeso is a dream come true and coming home was the BEST thing I've done in a long time🇳🇬 Im so honored to be apart of this spectacular family," she captioned a video of herself and her man dancing together in traditional Nigerian duds.
TMZ reported on July 30 that 10 days earlier, "The Bachelor" creator Mike Fleiss and his estranged wife, former Miss America Laura Kaeppeler, settled their divorce: She'll walk away from the marriage with $10 million. In exchange, she's dropping her claims of domestic violence against the super-producer and agreeing to let her temporary restraining order against him expire. The former couple will share joint legal and physical custody of their 4-year-old son. According to TMZ, Laura is actually scoring more in the divorce than she would've under the terms of their prenuptial agreement — but not as much as she would've banked had there been no prenup at all.
During an interview with "Entertainment Tonight" that hit the Internet on July 26, the late "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin's daughter, Bindi Irwin, said that she wants her brother, Robert Irwin (left), to walk her down the aisle when she marries Chandler Powell (right) sometime next year. "It'll be really important that Robert walks me down the aisle," she said. "That's something that I really want to do. … I'm always so grateful that Robert is there, and he has been such a big part of my life and he's always stepped up and been the one to give me a hug when I need it and encourage me forward in life. … So he will definitely be the one to walk me down the aisle when the time comes, and I think that will make it really special. … And I think that's what Dad would have wanted as well." (Robert also assisted with Chandler's proposal.) Bindi added that instead of the traditional father-daughter dance, she'd like to share a dance with her mother, Terri Irwin, at her wedding reception.
During a July 24 interview with Us Weekly, Nikki Bella gushed that "it feels so good" to finally call Artem Chigvintsev her boyfriend. "I don't have to hide it. I'm such a grabby person, like, so PDA. And there'd be times I would just want to grab him so much, and then I'm like, 'Oh shoot, I got to pretend like I don't know you.' But it's fun. It's nice 'cause now it's kind of like having freedom. We could do whatever we want and it's all good," she said. "It was so new for both of us — we didn't want everyone to jump to conclusions that it's going to lead to something serious. And it did. … It was going fast," chimed in her beau of their initial reticence to label their relationship. But that wasn't the end of Nikki's gushing: "Artem is an amazing guy. You're really fun to date. We have the best date nights," she said. "Anytime I'm, like, kind of sad or just having a hard day, he always shows up with a bouquet of flowers. And it's really cute and he just will do cute stuff. I remember when we were hiking one time and it was a beautiful sunset and he'll just do little, like, a dip or like a few little dance moves. And as a woman, I can't tell you, but it makes us smile so big and it makes me feel so amazing."
On the July 29 episode of his "How Men Think" podcast, Brooks Laich revealed that he wasn't always OK with the fact that his wife, Julianne Hough, decided to keep her maiden name. "When we first met and got engaged and stuff, we had this conversation. I was like, 'I want you to take my last name.' … It was important to me," he said. Since then, however, he's changed his tune, coming around to the fact that it's "not that big of an issue" if Julianne remains a Hough. "We don't have any kids right now, but she doesn't have my last name. … I figured it would be an issue, but I'm surprised for myself now that it's not an issue. But it will be interesting to see when we have kids. When we have children, I would want them to have my last name — our last name. I'm not going to make my wife change her last name if she doesn't feel comfortable, but I don't think that creates a division within our relationship."
During an interview with Us Weekly that hit the Internet on July 26, J.D. Scott revealed that he and fiancée Annalee Belle plan to tie the knot on Halloween, the first anniversary of their engagement. "I personally didn't want to have a really long engagement because when [I first became sick] I didn't know if I was going to make it too long," said the older sibling of "Property Brothers" stars Drew Scott and Jonathan Scott. Continued J.D., who's been battling a mysterious illness recently, "I asked Annalee if we could not have an engagement that was two or three years because I'd like to get married before I die and now the situation's very different. I'm still happy that we're getting married at that time, but originally that was the reasoning there." The Halloween enthusiast added that his wedding is going to be "very themed." He concluded by describing the inspiration he finds in Drew's marriage to Linda Phan: "Drew and Linda have been the perfect couple when it comes to synergizing work life and personal life," he said. "I love the idea of having a partner that I can not only spend my free time with, but I can also dive into work with and that is the case with Annalee. We have managed to find that common ground where we can work on things together and have projects that we do that contribute to both of our brands."

On the July 26 episode of the "Today" show, Jenna Bush Hager revealed that she once tried to set up her twin sister, Barbara Bush, with Prince Harry after interviewing the royal back in 2016. "It didn't work," she said, attributing her failure to the fact that both she and Harry were forced to wear sunglasses during the interview, which created a "barrier" between them. "I felt like maybe if he could see straight into my eyes … that could have worked if my sunglasses weren't blocking that match," she added. "He said, 'Let's talk later.' But then he got married to Meghan Markle." Barbara, meanwhile, married screenwriter Craig Coyne in October 2018.
During an interview with Cosmopolitan that hit the Internet on July 25, Lizzo dished on recently getting over a bad breakup: "I'm finally free of the evil Gemini I had in my life. I'm really just actually happy and single. You know when people are single, but they're still kind of grieving over it and they're still kind of sad? I'm at the celebratory phase," she said. The "Juice" chart-topper also explained the line "why are men great till they got to be great" from her song "Truth Hurts," which is inspired by her "personal experience." Said the currently single singer, "The idea of a partner, the idea of a quote unquote 'man' is so exciting and you want it, you crave it. Then you start getting those first fluttery feelings with somebody and it's still so exciting. Until you get to the point where it's not that exciting anymore. The script flips and you're dealing with … somebody who actually doesn't have your best interests at heart or doesn't actually love you. That shiny, exciting experience immediately goes [away]. I'm like, the idea of you was great, but when I put you in this position of power in my life, you don't know what to do. … When people give you their hearts and when people give you a position of power in their lives and in the world, do better with it."
Ramona Singer attributed her single status to her work in reality TV during a July 27 interview with Us Weekly. "Dating is tough … because I'm on a TV show. I meet men, they like me, then they don't like the fact that … [the] press makes up stuff about me," she said, adding that she's not necessarily in a hurry to find a man. "Whatever's meant to be, is meant to be," she said. "I've been very blessed by God and I know he'll continue to bless me and when the timing's right, I'll find a partner. I'm very fulfilled with my friendships and my family, so it's all good."
