Why fans believe Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik's baby has arrived
Did Bella Hadid get weepy on Instagram on Tuesday, Sept. 15, because Gigi Hadid had her baby? Fans sure seem to think so. Bella shared a cute post of the siblings holding their tops up to reveal their tummies Tuesday, but it was the caption that left Insta users thinking Gigi and Zayn Malik's baby has arrived. "June 11, 2020 …🖤 two buns in the oven except mine is from my burger and gigi's is from @zayn ✨👼🏼✨," Bella wrote on the pic, adding, "i love you both so freaking much -can'tstopcrying 🥺." Gigi wasted no time responding with smiley-face emojis, which set off a storm of questions from fans in the comments. "Wait Does this mean that Gigi gave birth to the baby?" asked one follower (via Page Six). Said another: "There is no way someone puts a date, a (i cant stop crying), a baby emoji and a i love you both(gigi and baby). It is here." As of Tuesday afternoon, Gigi, who has been careful to keep most of her pregnancy journey private, had yet to confirm or deny the growing baby chatter.

Emmys host Jimmy Kimmel predicts 'lowest-rated Emmys of all time'
On Sunday, Jimmy Kimmel will make his way to the Staples Center, presumably dressed in some awards show tux finery, to host the 72nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards — with no nominees, no red carpet and no audience. So what can we expect? Even Jimmy, who's also an executive producer on the broadcast, can't be certain, though he's pretty sure the ratings will not be good. "I know everyone will get crazy when I say this, but this will probably be the lowest-rated Emmys of all time," he tells Deadline, citing the high degree of competition that's left fewer people tuning in to network television. "I guess it's going to be some combination of the Emmys and 'Big Brother' because we don't know for sure how it's going to work …," he explains. "My hope is that [the nominees] are surrounded by their families so that we have genuine emotion and excitement when they win … because we're certainly not going to have that in the empty Staples Center." As for his own performance, he admits it could go either way. "I don't know, maybe I'm going to screw it up. You know, the thing about it is you only get one shot at it. It's not like a nightly talk show where you do something, and you continually make adjustments," he says. "You kind of have to get it right the first time, but I think the key for me is to forget about the fact that I'm in a giant room and you know, that I'm not going to have to project to the back of the room. That I'm just, in this case, literally talking to people in their homes, and keep it intimate even though we are in this gargantuan venue." The late night host agreed to the Emmys gig before it was clear the coronavirus pandemic would make a regular awards show too dangerous. And despite the potential awkwardness of helming a celebration of stars that's kind of a one-man party — and the recent trend of hostless awards shows — Jimmy believes strongly that these ceremonies require hosts. "They started by getting rid of the host," he says with a laugh, "and now we got rid of the audience." The virtual Primetime Emmy Awards air on ABC Sunday, Sept. 20, at 8 p.m. ET and 5 p.m. PT. HBO's "Watchmen" leads the nominations with 26 chances for a statuette.
Pink gushes about her love for Carey Hart and their 'awful, wonderful' marriage
Pink's never been shy about the fact that her marriage to Carey Hart is, like most relationships, a work in progress. But the singer seemed to be feeling extra sentimental — and honest — on Monday, when she posted a sweet Instagram photo that showed Pink wrapping her arms around her guy, grinning with delight. "He's still my favorite sweet little dirtball," she captioned the post. From there, she delved into the realities of her romance with the off-road motorcycle and truck racer, explaining how they take the good with the bad. "He and I have been at this a long time, and it is our relentless and stubborn idealism that keeps us together," she said of their 17-years and counting relationship, most of which they've spent in therapy. "Marriage is awful, wonderful, comfort and rage," she continued. "It is boring, terrifying, and a total nail biter. It is loving another fallible creature while trying to love yourself. It is a lifetime of coming back to the table. People laugh at us because we're either fighting or laughing. They roll their eyes when we talk about therapy. But I'll tell you what. It's worth it. All of it. Even when it isn't. Therapy isn't for weak people or hippies or liberals. It's for broken people that want to be whole. It's for runaways that want a family. It's a lesson on how to sit down and listen. How to love yourself so that the other person can, too." She concluded by telling Carey, "I love you babe. I'm grateful we made it to this photo …" Pink and Carey tied the knot in 2006. They share a daughter, Willow, 9, and a son, Jameson, 3.
Fans react to Tyra Banks' 'Dancing With the Stars' hosting debut
Tyra Banks made her "Dancing With the Stars" debut on Monday and, well, let's just say it's a good thing for Tyra that the host can't be voted off the show like the contestants. "Can Tyra Banks be the first person voted off, thanks!" tweeted one user, echoing the sentiments of many (many) more. Other viewers took aim at the fluffy, ruffled number the "America's Next Top Model" creator wore as she sauntered out onto the stage, making comparisons between Tyra's gown and a meshy, Bath & Body Works loofah. But most of the complaints on Twitter seemed to reference the sudden departures of original show host Tom Bergeron and his co-host since 2014, Erin Andrews. "The problem with Tyra Banks is you've replaced the heart of the show," wrote one disappointed viewer. "Nothing against her, but it just sounds so off when you hear her voice instead of Tom Bergeron's. On a year where people WANT comfort of the familiar… it's just a really poor decision." Wrote another: "DWTS I LITERALLY HATE TYRA BANKS ON THIS SHOW. Seriously.. bring back Tom and Erin." Tom and Erin announced in July they wouldn't be returning to the show, news that surprised both of them as much as any of the the long-running series' fans. "DWTS" producers apparently wanted to go in a "new creative direction" when they opted to replace Erin and Tom with Tyra. And some fans did react positively to the switch — even Erin told "Extra" she thought Tyra would be "perfect" for the job. Speaking to the New York Post ahead of the Season 29 premiere, Tyra, 46, praised the "empire" Tom had created during his time on the show and explained that she never had "host-for-hire" in mind for her career. Instead, she said she was brainstorming with her "Dancing"-fan mom on, "the different elements I can bring to the show." Shew added: "I'll be fine; that doesn't mean I won't make mistakes or read the Teleprompter backwards, but live TV is about mess-ups and mistakes and calling them out when they happen."
Kerry Washington, Questlove react to Breonna Taylor settlement: 'Justice was not served'
Following months of protests and demands for justice for Breonna Taylor, the family of the 26-year-old medical worker — who was slain by police in March as she slept in her own home — has reached a $12 million settlement with the city of Louisville, Kentucky, in a wrongful death suit. But as celebrities including Kerry Washington and Questlove pointed out on Twitter Tuesday, the "payoff" isn't nearly enough. "A settlement was reached but justice was not served. Arrest the officers who killed #BreonnaTaylor," Kerry tweeted, reiterating the demand that's been made for weeks by protesters including Oprah Winfrey, Beyonce and Demi Lovato. Questlove, meanwhile, remained hopeful there was more news to come. "Ok so if there is a 12 million dollar payoff for the murder of #BreonnaTaylor," he tweeted, "then that tells us that none of us aren't crazy/out of line in demanding proper justice….so by the transitive axiom that should also mean they are soon arresting those officers correct?" The FBI is reportedly still investigating Breonna's death, which could explain the slow motion of the case. The settlement with her family also includes stipulations that Louisville will institute reforms to the police department there, according to CNN. The officers who killed Breonna used a no-knock search warrant and reportedly failed to identify themselves. They were allegedly looking for information connected to a drug crime suspect who they said used Breonna's address to receive packages. Their suspect, however, was already in custody when they entered her home and killed her. Nothing illegal was found in the home after her death.
John Boyega quits Jo Malone global ambassador role after being edited out of his own ad for a Chinese audience
For the second time in five years, John Boyega's found himself edited out of an ad made to run in China — and he's taking a stand against the racist edit. "I have decided to step down as Jo Malone's global ambassador," the actor tweeted on Sunday after discovering that an award-winning ad he'd made for the fragrance company, based on his experience as a London native of Nigerian descent, had been re-shot without his knowledge or image included, to air in China. "When I joined the brand as their first male global ambassador last year, I created the short film we used to launch the campaign. It won the Fragrance Foundation Virtual awards 2020 for Best Media Campaign," he shared as the thread continued. "While many brands understandably use a variety of global and local ambassadors," he explained, referencing the Chinese star who replaced him in the video, "… dismissively trading out one's culture this way is not something I can condone." He added: "It's back to back but I assure you this will be dealt with swiftly. I don't have time for nonsense. We press on and strong. Stay blessed people…" Jo Malone has since issued an apology, telling THR in a statement: "John is a tremendous artist with great personal vision and direction. The concept for the film was based on John's personal experiences and should not have been replicated." In 2015, a promotional poster for China advertising "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" was edited to shrink the actor's size and prominence, despite the fact he's one of the lead stars of the film. Other non-white characters were removed entirely from the ad.
Jude Law is now a father of six
Congrats are in order for Jude Law and his wife, Phillipa Coan, who recently welcomed their first child together, making Jude a father of six. "It's really wonderful," Jude, 47, told Jimmy Fallon on Monday's "Tonight Show," per People. "We feel pretty blessed that we were in a time where we could, as a family, just nest and enjoy each other's company and every day as it came. It was an unusual but kind of enforced love-in." Jude, who's also dad to Ada, 5, Sophia, who turns 11 this month, Iris, 19, Rudy, 18, and Rafferty, 23, married Phillipa, a self-described "business psychologist and behavior change specialist," in London last spring.
Prince Harry marks his 36th birthday with wishes from the royals and quiet 'celebrations' with his family in Santa Barbara
Prince Harry turned 36 on Tuesday and despite rumors of lingering tension in the wake of Harry and Meghan Markle's departure from their royal duties, Harry's family sent their best wishes for a happy birthday via social media. For the most part, those messages consisted of almost identical, one-line birthday greetings, accompanied by photos of Harry with various members of the royal family. Conspicuously absent from those pics, some fans noted in the comments, was Harry's wife, Meghan. Not that Harry and Meghan have time to stress out about it too much, given how much else is on their plate right now. The couple recently signed on to a multi-year deal with Netflix to produce documentaries, scripted shows, children's programs and more. They're also still in the process of setting up their new charity organization, Archewell, and getting settled in their new California home, among other projects. On Tuesday, Harry was expect to enjoy "some birthday celebrations quietly with the family" in Santa Barbara, a source told People. Although the insider didn't elaborate, the outlet notes Meghan has a history of celebrating her husband's big day with creative, romantic gestures. Last year, she staged a reboot of the couple's "Botswana camping adventures in their backyard," according to People source. "It's a place that means so much to them — and to Harry in particular," the insider explained. "… Meghan wanted to bring that happy place to him on his day so she set up a tent, got sleeping bags, cooked dinner and recreated Botswana where they fell in love."
After teasing fans with a photo from a screenplay writing session last week, Madonna has confirmed she's co-writing and directing a biopic about her life. According to a press release from Universal Pictures posted to the star's website on Tuesday, the 62-year-old star is working with Diablo Cody on a script. "I want to convey the incredible journey that life has taken me on as an artist, a musician, a dancer — a human being, trying to make her way in this world," Madge said in a statement on her site. "The focus of this film will always be music. Music has kept me going and art has kept me alive." She added: "There are so many untold and inspiring stories and who better to tell it than me. It's essential to share the roller coaster ride of my life with my voice and vision." The press release also credits former Sony Pictures head, producer Amy Pascal, whom Thandie Newton recently accused of racially insensitive behavior. Pascal worked with Madonna on 1992's "A League of Their Own."
Chris Evans addresses photo leak: 'You gotta roll with the punches'
Chris Evans has finally addressed the explicit photo he accidentally leaked from his phone onto Instagram over the weekend. The image was quickly deleted after he posted it, but for a couple of days he remained mum as the internet responded to the gaffe with its usual mix of schadenfreude and support. On Monday night, the actor used the heavy traffic on his Instagram as an opportunity to remind folks to vote in the presidential election Nov. 3. He was more direct during a chat with Tamron Hall on her show. After joking, "Something happened this weekend?" when she asked about the leak, he got more serious and admitted it was "embarrassing" but said,"you gotta roll with the punches" in life. "It was an interesting weekend full of lessons learned, a lot of teachable moments," Chris told Tamron, according to JustJared. "Things happen. It's embarrassing, but you gotta roll with the punches. I will say, I have pretty fantastic fans who came to my support."
