We love doting dads! In honor of Father's Day 2020 on June 21, Wonderwall.com is taking a look at some of Hollywood's most devoted #GirlDads… starting with Dwayne Johnson. In addition to being one of Hollywood's highest paid actors — in 2020, he came in at No. 10 on Forbes' Celebrity 100 list, thanks to earnings of $87.5 million for the previous year — he's also a proud father to three daughters. He welcomed his eldest with then-wife Dany Garcia in 1997 then had two little ones, Jasmine in 2016 and Tiana in 2018, with Lauren Hashian, whom he wed in 2019. "I grew up an old child. My dad was tough. He kicked my a–, so there was a lot of testosterone growing up, so there is this balance, having all this estrogenic energy, then also me having the opportunity to infuse 'father' and hopefully setting a standard of what a man should be in [my daughters'] lives," he told "Extra" in 2019. The Rock is pictured here with Jasmine. "Pōmaika'i. Blessed, strong and the world will hear from you one day," he wrote alongside the selfie. Keep reading for more dedicated dads…
He's an EGOT winner, a musical genius, a devoted husband and a doting father! During an interview with Glamour magazine in 2020, model and cookbook author Chrissy Teigen gushed about husband John Legend's approach as a parent. "He is an amazing father for a girl who's becoming a woman in this day and age, because we have a firm belief she is going to take ownership of her body. And we're going to talk to [the kids] the best we can, whether that's sex, drugs…" she said. "We are going to talk to her in the same way we would have loved to hear it." John is pictured here with daughter Luna in 2020. "Happy 4th birthday to our beautiful Luna! I'm so happy I get to be your father, teacher, friend. 💗💗💗💗💗💗," he captioned the sweet pic. John and Chrissy are also parents to son Miles, who was born in 2018.

"I like just being here with the girls," he told late night host Stephen Colbert in April 2020. "I like doing the girl stuff. I try not to push gender normative ideas on my kids as they were born, but each one, when they came out that shoot, they really wanted to make dresses, they wanted to dress in hot pink all day, so that's what I do. This morning I made dresses out of tissue paper, which was fun for them."

Jay explained how that moment was joyous for him. "That's the most beautiful thing you've ever said to me," he recalled telling her. While speaking to him at an event in 2018 — she was pregnant with her daughter — "I asked him for advice on raising girls, seeing as though he quite famously had three at the time, and he said just be grateful that you've been given that gift because girls are amazing," Elle recalled. "His third daughter, Bianka, was about a year-and-a-half old at the time, so I asked if he wanted more children, and he said that his wife, Vanessa, really wanted to try again for a boy but was sort of jokingly concerned that it would be another girl. And I was like, 'Four girls, are you joking? What would you think? How would you feel?' And without hesitation he said, 'I would have five more girls if I could. I'm a 'girl dad.'" "The boys obviously give me a little bit of stick as they know that any question that they ask that they know I will say no to, that they have to ask her to ask me. I can't say no to her. I think I only said no to her once and her bottom lip started shivering, and I was like, never again."

In a candid 2018 interview with GQ, the Australian actor recalled how he came in first place during the "dad race" at daughter India's school and how upset she was that he had to leave the next day to shoot a film. "She's normally like, 'Yeah, see you, Daddy. Cool.' [But] she was like, 'Papa! Papa! Papa!' She doesn't always call me Papa, either," he recalled. Chris gave her the shirt he'd been wearing the day before, which still had the first-place sticker on it. When it comes to having more kids, Aaron hopes they're all girls! "What lucky kids to have Lauren as their mother. I would love to watch her grow up." He's pictured here with Story in 2018. Like father, like daughter!
Sometimes fatherhood can seem daunting. In January 2020, Channing Tatum, who shares daughter Everly with ex-wife Jenna Dewan, opened up about his fears of being a single dad. "I never in a million years thought I would be a single dad. It's a different dynamic when you have a daughter — it's scary. I thought it would just be playing, have a wrestle and just do craziness," he said during an appearance on "Running Wild with Bear Grylls." He continued: "Then you realize you have to show boundaries, and it's fun to do things inside a structure." The "Magic Mike" star shared this photo of Everly in June 2019 with the caption: "Me and you little tail feather, running through fairytales forever. let's go."

She's got the best laugh and smile. I love this girl beyond words. She's sitting right next to me and has no idea what Instagram is, but I'm still celebrating on social media for her and all the homies out there in isolation. #happybirthday #girldad."

"I jumped into the deep end with Lucy," he told Parade. "I mean, Alexia was already 4. I was an extra dad… The only way I can describe it — it sounds stupid, but — at the end of 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas,' you know how his heart grows, like, five times its size? Everything is full; It's just full all the time." The couple have since welcomed three more daughters: Isabella (born in 2006), Gia (born in 2008) and Stella (born in 2010).
