Julia Roberts has a new look! For years, the star's framed her famous big eyes and smile with a mane of long, brown waves. But on Thursday, March 14, hair stylist Serge Norman showed off his latest masterpiece for Julia β a textured lob. A photo of her side profile shows the ends of the front pieces grazing her shoulders while the back clocks in with a bit less length, peeking just below the nape of her neck. Within hours, the Internet β and Julia's famous friends β were already going crazy for the new, much shorter 'do. "Gorgeous!!!!X," Sarah Jessica Parker wrote in the comments on Serge's Instagram post. Heidi Klum weighed in, too, replying, "π»ππΌβ€οΈ." Karlie Kloss calls Taylor Swift 'incredible' amid new praise from Ivanka Trump
Karlie Kloss made her "Project Runway" debut on Thursday, March 14, a move that's put her β and her relationships β under the microscope over the past few days. That includes her relationship with Taylor Swift, whose bestie status in Karlie's life seemed to take a major hit at some point in 2017. Rift rumors about the two continued into last year and only grew louder when Karlie married Josh Kushner in New York in October, sans Taylor, who was on the other side of the planet for her Reputation tour. After "Project Runway" on Thursday, Karlie and her costar, Christian Siriano, sat down with Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens Live." Andy asked the inevitable "what's up with you and Taylor" question, pegged to Taylor's recent Elle essay about, among other things, learning that "β¦ sometimes when you grow, you outgrow relationships." Said the singer: "You may leave behind friendships along the way, but you'll always keep the memories." Celebitchy noticed Karlie's response to the Taylor question was nothing if not "careful." "Taylor's incredible," Karlie said. "And I feel really lucky to call her a friend. She's one of the hardest-working women and I loved her essay." The new "Project Runway" host has seemed similarly "careful" when it comes to acknowledging her marital ties to the Trump family. According to the Cut, Karlie "has not once mentioned publicly" that she is now Ivanka Trump's sister-in-law. Meanwhile, Ivanka seems eager to shout-out her new fam whenever possible. When Karlie announced she was marrying Jared Kushner's brother (albeit not in those words), for example, Ivanka posted: "So, so happy for you and Josh! I feel blessed to have you as a sister (!!!) Karlie and look forward to the decades of happy memories we will create together as a family!" Donald Trump's daughter was gushing about Karlie again ahead of the "Project Runway" season premiere this week. "Karlie, it's happening!" Ivanka said in a video posted on Twitter that showed Ivanka standing near Karlie as Karlie chats with designers about the show. "Amazing," says Ivanka, flashing a thumbs-up sign. "Project Runway. Epic." From what we can tell, Karlie's response was β¦ crickets, possibly because the comments were largely, um, unkind. In any case, as Karlie told Vogue in September of marrying a Kushner, she's "chosen to be with the man I love despite the complications." Karlie added: "Josh and I share a lot of the same liberal values that guide our lives and the things we stand for."
Katy Perry says she's 'open' to working with Taylor Swift
In other Swiftie news β¦ There may be new reason to put faith in the social media murmurs about a possible Taylor SwiftβKaty Perry collaboration. At the iHeartRadio Music Awards, Katy told ET she'd be up for working with Taylor in spite of their long-running feud. "I'm open!" she said before pretending to be an A.I. robot (it apparently made sense in the context of the interview) and repeating "open" in robot speak. Taylor's fans are used to looking for music clues in her Instagram posts and noticed in recent months that she started using palm tree Emojis all over the place shortly before Katy posted a photo of a palm tree. After Taylor shared a photo of herself with a Flamingo decal on her jacket, Katy shared a pic of herself with a big plastic flamingo, all of which seemed to be enough to fuel collaboration rumors, according to Page Six. It's also been long enough for Katy and Taylor to actually record together; the pair's feud reportedly began over backup dancers leaving Taylor's tour to join Katy's but appears to have ended last May when Katy sent Taylor an actual olive branch in the mail.
Kate Beckinsale shares her dating dealbreaker
Judging from her track record with new beau, Pete Davidson, Kate Beckinsale's all for courtside romance. Love in the Magic Kingdom, however? Not so much. During an appearance on "The Late Late Show with James Corden," Kate revealed she draws the dating line at Disneyland. "I didn't like it. I don't really like dates anyway," she told James after Milo Ventimiliga, also a guest on the show, admitted he used to take girls to Disneyland on dates growing up. Asked to elaborate on her negative experience, Kate explained: "There was some sort of argument about he didn't think I looked cute in the ears β¦ He didn't compliment me enough [on my Minnie Mouse ears]," she said, according to ET. "So it was done. I was out. I was over it." Kate, 46, added: "If you're going to go through the trouble of buying and wearing ears, the person should be freaking out, especially if you're over 40 because it's a commitment β¦ I was super offended." Pete, on the other hand, seems to be doing something right in the dating department. Romance rumors first hit the couple after the 25-year-old "SNL" star was spotted flirting with Kate after the Golden Globes. Within a month, they were spotted holding hands as they left one of Pete's stand-up gigs in Los Angeles. "Kate is into Pete and he's exactly her type," a source recently told Us Weekly. "She likes young guys who make her laugh."
