Police intervene after incident with Kendall Jenner's dog
Kendall Jenner could be in hot water after an incident involving her Doberman Pinscher. After enjoying a low-key Sunday morning with the pooch and her rumored boyfriend, Ben Simmons, at Beverly Glen Deli in Los Angeles on Sunday, Aug. 5, Kendall was pegged as the responsible party for an injury a woman claims her young daughter sustained courtesy of the Doberman. TMZ reports police were called to the deli after the dog allegedly "nipped" the girl as she dined with her mom on the restaurant's patio. The mother complained that Kendall and Ben split without offering to share their contact info after the daughter encountered the dog. According to a TMZ source close to Kendall, the dog was merely startled by the little girl and never made physical contact with her. A source told People a similar story, saying Kendall didn't leave until she was sure the dog, who was wearing a harness at the time, had not bitten the little girl. Although the girl only required ice for her injury, the case was reportedly referred to Animal Control after the police deemed it to have been a civil matter.
Beyonce opens up about embracing her body after a dangerous pregnancy
The "unprecedented control" Beyonce reportedly had over Vogue's September 2018 issue wasn't her only break with the fashion bible's traditions. In her cover story, which she wrote herself, Bey opens up about the expectations she felt with regard to her body after welcoming her daughter, Blue Ivy, six years ago, and her twins, Rumi and Sir, last year. "After the birth of my first child, I believed in the things society said about how my body should look," she explains. "I put pressure on myself to lose all the baby weight in three months, and scheduled a small tour to assure I would do it. Looking back, that was crazy. I was still breastfeeding when I performed the Revel shows in Atlantic City in 2012. After the twins, I approached things very differently," she continued. "I was 218 pounds the day I gave birth to Rumi and Sir. I was swollen from toxemia and had been on bed rest for over a month. My health and my babies' health were in danger, so I had an emergency C-section. We spent many weeks in the NICU." During that time, Beyonce recalls, she relied heavily on JAY-Z and came to appreciate him even more. "[He] was a soldier and such a strong support system for me. I am proud to have been a witness to his strength and evolution as a man, a best friend, and a father. I was in survival mode and did not grasp it all until months later," she says. As she began the process of recovering from the difficult pregnancy and delivery, she says her "core felt different," explaining: "Some of your organs are shifted temporarily, and in rare cases, removed temporarily during delivery. I am not sure everyone understands that. I needed time to heal, to recover. During my recovery, I gave myself self-love and self-care, and I embraced being curvier. I accepted what my body wanted to be." When she was ready to get back to work — and back on tour with Jay — she went vegan, ditched the booze, caffeine and fruit drinks and still managed to give herself the space to appreciate her "fuller curves," which she says her husband and kids were also positive about. Now, she says she's happy with her body just the way it is. "My arms, shoulders, breasts and thighs are fuller. I have a little mommy pouch, and I'm in no rush to get rid of it," she says. "I think it's real. Whenever I'm ready to get a six-pack, I will go into beast zone and work my a– off until I have it. But right now, my little FUPA and I feel like we are meant to be."

Travis Scott responds to Amanda Lepore album art backlash
Bias was not involved in the decision to remove transgender model Amanda Lepore from the cover of Travis Scott's new album, "Astroworld." That's the message the rapper sent out in a firmly stated Instagram response to backlash from fans over the weekend. "Thank you David Lachappelle and Amanda Lepore and everyone that came out to make all the covers and the vision come to life!!!" Travis wrote on Saturday, Aug. 4. "ASTROWORLD IS ABOUT LOVE AND EXPRESSION NOT HATE! This is very important for me to speak about: Growing up I've been taught to accept everyone, not to cast people away but bring them into your home! I have nothing but respect for the LGBTQ community. I want to use my voice to make it clear that everyone on this planet is as equal and f–king awesome to the next. Me and Lachappelle set out tooo create images that I grew up watching him create for years that inspire me today." Travis also quietly responded to the message Amanda initially posted when she discovered she no longer appeared alongside other models on the album art, offering his praise for her work and assuring fans they'd have the chance to see Amanda and others in the complete album package. "Yo Amanda you did upstage everyone even me and I can't wait for everyone to see the booklet that me and Dave put together that includes all these images," he wrote. "Thank you for being apart of it. Sorry for the misunderstanding Love you guys and THANK YOU ALL!! EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO ASTROWORLD!"

Brooklyn Beckham lands a photography gig with Victoria Beckham's company
In 2017, Victoria Beckham's luxury clothing line, Victoria Beckham Ltd., lost more than $11 million, sparking a wave of staff cuts that reduced the organization's size by a third. At least one person, however, has a new job at the company: Victoria's son, Brooklyn Beckham. The budding photographer recently dropped out of college at Parsons School of Design and is now reportedly getting some professional experience looking after his mom's ad campaigns, according to the Daily Mail. "Brooklyn snapping this new campaign has raised a lot of eyebrows around the industry because he is so young and very inexperienced," a source said of the 19 year old. "But Victoria doesn't care, it's fantastic experience for him. It is her dream to have Brooklyn working for her. She trusts his eye and loves the fact he's young. She continually asks for his thoughts on her designs and how they are presented." Brooklyn's first major contribution to his mom's company involved shooting a campaign for her Merch Collection collaboration with Reebok.
Eva Longoria shares the motherhood advice she got from Kerry Washington
There are some situations when a little girl power goes a long way. For Eva Longoria, who welcomed her first child, Santiago, with her husband, Jose Pepe Baston, in June, having female friends she can rely on has been an important part of becoming a parent. "I have an amazing … support group, with my family and with all my friends," the "Dog Days" star recently told ET. Adding that "Kerry Washington's basically my doula," Eva went on to dish on some of the advice the "Scandal" star and other pals have given her since she got pregnant. "I just have this amazing community of women around me that have really helped me transition into motherhood and I think you need that," she said. "I have a baby nurse… I have a mother-in-law, and [Kerry] was like, you know, 'You have the best instinct.' … When people go, 'Your mother instincts kick in,' that's true. I mean you become a natural. But I've been a mom to so many in my life already. My nieces, my nephews, girls through my foundation. I'm very well educated in this arena. I mean, I made sure I was, I took every class you could take, I read all the books I watched all the videos, and I still continued to learn."
Zendaya talks making her own rules, working with Reese Witherspoon and taking risks
A month shy of her 22nd birthday, Zendaya is learning to let her intuition guide her, "Scandal"-style. "I call it my Olivia Pope gut," she explains in the new issue of Marie Claire." "I just had to be in tune with that and be like, 'Listen, whatever feels right, go after that.' There's something liberating about making decisions for yourself." Right now, those decisions seem to involve more risk than usual, particularly when it comes to her career. "I'm coming from this very different world of Disney," she says. "Having been consistently on a TV show, I felt stagnant. Not having that anymore, I am being seen as a real actress, doing what makes me feel pushed and motivated. I don't necessarily think comfort is always the best place to live in. I've really found the power in just doing what makes me happy." Among the things that clearly make her happy is one of her new projects, "A White Lie," which she stars in and is producing alongside Reese Witherspoon, whom Zendaya says she admires for creating an all-woman production company with the goal of telling more women's stories. "A White Lie" centers around the life and experiences of Anita Hemmings, the first black woman to graduate from Vassar College, but what Zendaya says first piqued her interest was Reese's involvement. "One day I might want to have my own production company and create the material that I want to be in," she says. "Sometimes we have to create our own lane and our own opportunities when they're not handed to us."
