Honeymoon from hell?
The notion of a "honeymoon phase" probably never had the same ring to it for Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher after their own honeymoon, which Mila described to Jimmy Fallon this week at having been like "a real-life 'National Lampoon' movie," according to the Daily Mail. Her first mistake, she said, was buying Ashton an RV so they could make the vacation a family road trip with their daughter, Wyatt, and in-laws. What she ended up with was apparently "a little tin can on wheels" whose A.C. quickly broke before they even made it out of Los Angeles. Then there was the issue of Apple's Maps function. "We almost died on the side of the road when Apple Maps took us on a road … it wasn't a road," she said. "It was a fire road on the side of a mountain. We all had to jump out of the vehicle and walk for like three miles while my father-in-law drove the van. Ashton navigated him over gigantic boulders because there had just been a massive flood." They survived all of that and made it to the Napa Valley — with one small problem. Ashton's mom had apparently used some super outdated guide books to locate a great RV park for them to camp once they got up there. "We ended up in an area an hour outside Napa, with two prisons. That is where our TV trip ended," she admitted. "My husband looks at me and goes, 'I quit,' and I was like, 'Me too.'" Of course, it was far from the end of their marriage. The two went on to welcome a second child and are still very much in love, even if Mila never thought that's the direction things were going with her former "That '70s Show" costar. "We'd always kept in touch but I never thought of him romantically. I was at an awards show and I see this guy and I see his back and he's really tall," she recalled. "I was like, 'Who's that guy?' Then he just turns around and it was literally like if we were in a movie, the music would start playing and the violins would go … I think for the first time ever he took my breath away … I was like f—, he's good looking." Not long after that, Ashton tried to set her up with a friend. As Mila tells it, she ended up spending the night with him — and that was that.

Is Alexander Skarsgard dating Harry Styles' ex, Camille Rowe?
So much for those Charlize Theron romance rumors. Six weeks after the tabs started whispering about some on-set sizzle between Alexander Skarsgard and his "Flarsky" costar, the 41-year-old "True Blood" alum is being linked to model Camille Rowe, 28. If Camille's name sounds familiar beyond the world of Victoria's Secret, it's probably because Camille was reportedly dating Harry Styles for the past year until mid-July, although it's unclear exactly when they split. According to The Sun, Camille and Alexander "have been quietly dating for a few weeks" after allegedly meeting while shooting an ad campaign in early 2018. "She was just friends with him at first but after things ended with Harry, they started to grow closer," explains a Sun source. "Since then they've been on a few dates, including one to a basketball game when she was sat on his knee and they were kissing a lot." The kissing has an awkward twist, too: Alexander's girlfriend of two years, Alexa Chung, is friends with Camille and apparently introduced her to Harry. Says the Sun's source: "… it's not an ideal situation for any of them because of Alexa. Although they are now friends, it's a bit weird. … Now the couple just want to see how it goes without putting pressure on."

Jennifer Aniston: 'With all due respect, I'm not heartbroken' about Justin Theroux split
Jennifer Aniston's first major interview since she and Justin Theroux called it quits is out and it begins with the interviewer asking a few "light" questions, including: "When are you getting back together with [Brad Pitt]? Did Justin ever wear your jeans? And when are the twins due?" Luckily for Jen, said interviewer was one of her close friends, TV writer Molly McNearney — and yes, she was teasing. "You're the only person who could start an interview like that and actually send me into hysterics, not hives," says a giggling Jen in the September edition of InStyle. "I'll just Google myself and find out … Oh, look, I'm having a $100,000 revenge makeover," Jen says, offering one of many examples of the misconceptions about her personal life that have played out in the pages of gossip mags over the years. "The misconceptions are 'Jen can't keep a man,' and 'Jen refuses to have a baby because she's selfish and committed to her career.' Or that I'm sad and heartbroken." Taking the opportunity to clarify some of those claims, she continues: "First, with all due respect, I'm not heartbroken. And second, those are reckless assumptions. No one knows what's going on behind closed doors. No one considers how sensitive that might be for my partner and me. They don't know what I've been through medically or emotionally. There is a pressure on women to be mothers, and if they are not, then they're deemed damaged goods. Maybe my purpose on this planet isn't to procreate. Maybe I have other things I'm supposed to do?" She goes on to say she sometimes fantasizes about ditching her life here and moving "Switzerland … just to have this s— behind me." She's not just talking about the tabloids, either. At 49, Jen's got a rhythm to keeping her goals in order so that when she asks herself questions like, "What is my life's purpose?" she can retune the answer. " Every seven years I try to sum up what I am doing and what I want to make my focus," she explains. "Now I'm trying to get better at saying no and to be a part of projects that actually, really matter à la 'Dumplin" or 'The Goree Girls' or this other film we're working on called 'The Fixer,' about an amazing crisis manager named Denise White." Despite those Switzerland dreams, the actress admits she's "grateful" to be in demand for something she wants to do. "As long as I'm fulfilled in other ways creatively, spiritually and all of that stuff," she says, "I know that I could do this until they put me in a home."

Duchess Kate and Prince William enjoy a rare date night in Mustique
For the past few weeks, Duchess Kate, Prince William and their young children have been vacationing at the Middleton family's go-to Caribbean spot, Mustique. Turns out Mick Jagger and his daughter, Jade, have been spending time there, too, this summer, and one evening last week, all four Brits all stopped by the same party. Will and Kate are apparently pals with Basil Charles, who owns the famous island watering hole, Basil's Bar. When Basil threw a special, "Splash of Gold"-themed bash, the couple stepped out for a rare date night, sans Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte and Prince George. Spies tell HELLO! the royal couple stopped by "on the early side of the party" in "island chic" attire. "They were there for the cocktails segment and kept it rather classy," said one source. Kate's parents, Carole and Michael Middleton are rumored to be joining the royal fam at some point during their vacation.
Mackenzie Phillips on Demi Lovato's recovery: 'Let her do her thing and get well'
Demi Lovato needs to be given the time and space to recover from her addiction. That's according to Mackenzie Phillips, whose experience with addiction, rehab and relapse dates back to the late '70s. "It may be difficult and it may cause some issues, but you're talking about someone's life. You're not talking about a bread-winner; you're talking about a human being who is struggling with a real, real problem," she tells People. "And so people need to just let her do her thing and get well." Once a child star like Demi, Mackenzie, now 58, has learned a few things about what works and what doesn't when it comes to recovery. "It's a full time job, and it's something you have to be mindful of all the time. But you can certainly be clean and sober and work and have a life and be a mom … you can do anything," she says. "My active addiction limited what I could do, and now I'm free to do whatever I want because I found out that my recovery is portable. I just take it with me everywhere I go." The "Orange Is the New Black" star also believes that moderation is not a possibility down the line. "Not for this girl, absolutely not. It never worked for me, I thought I could drink… No. I can't," Mackenzie says. "I can't speak for anybody else, but I certainly know abstinence is the key." As of early Wednesday, Aug. 1, Demi remained hospitalized following her July 24 overdose. Those close to her have reportedly not yet been able to broach the subject of rehab since she's still very sick and suffering complications from the incident last month.
Kanye West's Yeezy brand valued at $1.5 billion: Report
During her recent appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," Kim Kardashian West gushed about being "so happy" for her sister, Kylie Jenner, whose Kylie Cosmetics company was hailed by Forbes as having put her on track to become the "youngest self-made billionaire ever." When Jimmy asked if Kim was close to billionaire status, she replied, "I would say my husband is. That makes me one, right?" According to The Blast, she was right. Kanye West's Yeezy collaboration with Adidas was recently valued at close to $1.5 billion, the website reports. Since he's a majority stakeholder — he's reportedly been cautious and slow when offered deals from outside investors and would-be Yeezy buyers — Kanye should be pretty close to becoming a billionaire, himself. As of July, Forbes was estimating Kim's net worth to be about $350 million.
Alicia Silverstone weighs in on the possibility of 'Clueless 2.0'
A Broadway musical version of "Clueless" may be in the works but Cher Horowitz fans can give up their dreams of a movie reboot of the 1995 classic. Alicia Silverstone stopped by "The Tonight Show" this week and wasted no time throwing cold water on any rumors to the contrary. Asked, "Will there ever be a 'Clueless' reunion, like a 'Clueless 2' or a reboot?" Alicia told Jimmy Fallon, "[Director] Amy Heckerling has made it very clear she does not want to do another one," according to JustJared.
David Burtka thought Neil Patrick Harris was a stalker at first
It's been 14 years since Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka became an item, a relationship that grew into a marriage in 2014. They now share two kids, fraternal twins Harper and Gideon. A decade and a half ago, however, David was not exactly chomping at the bit to date NPH. "I'd seen ['Doogie Howser, M.D.'] a couple of times, and I knew who he was, but honestly, when I met him, I sort of blew him off," David tells Hamptons Magazine. "I was in a relationship, and he was doing 'Cabaret,' so he had jet-blue-black hair … I wasn't really thinking much." It seems Neil took an immediate interest in David after they met, but assumed incorrectly David was involved with their mutual female friend. "So I said, 'Kate, well done,'" Neil admits. "And she said, 'David? Oh, no, no, he's gay.'" Armed with that info, Neil proceeded to get himself invited to Kate's "American Idol" viewing parties. David noticed the extra attention. "I thought he was a stalker for a while!" he cracks. Then that started to change. "[I thought], 'This guy's really cool, and he's super funny,' and it was like I was a kid again." It took a year, but they eventually went on a date when David broke up with his previous partner. Thinking back to that time, Neil muses, "I just thought he was very sexy!" Harris remarks. "And he was Tulsa in Gypsy that Sam Mendes was doing. … He's also got a really fantastically big heart and a great sense of humor, and is kind of a bright light that you want to be near." Well, shucks.
Lauryn Hill is launching a capsule collection for Woolrich, starring her first fashion campaign
Lauryn Hill has a lot to celebrate this year. As she continues her tour in support of the 20th anniversary of "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill," the singer is also making her way into the fashion world with her first clothing campaign as well as plans to design a capsule collection for Woolrich, a Pennsylania-based outdoor apparel brand. Page Six reports the singer has already sketched more than 30 designs for jackets, logos and concepts and is ready to share two heavily embellished, limited-edition coats adorned with collages of the cover of her landmark album as well as images of herself. Though she's new to professional fashion design, Lauryn, 43, has reportedly been designing and sewing her own clothes since 2013.
Amber Heard denies Johnny Depp's abuse claims
In a new filing in Johnny Depp's libel lawsuit against The Sun, the actor tries to make the case that Amber was the abusive one in their relationship. A lawyer for Amber has already strongly denied this. The specifics revolve around coverage of an alleged altercation between the two after Amber's birthday party in April 2016. In court documents (via The Mirror), Johnny's lawyers say the actor's late arrival to the party sparked Amber into a rage. "[She] began criticizing the claimant for being late," the papers claim, adding that Johnny was "not drunk or high on drugs" but rather in bed when he encountered Amber that evening. "Ms. Heard, who had been drinking, became aggressive and violent … punching him twice in the face," the papers allege. "[He] defended himself by grabbing Ms. Heard's arms to stop her punching again and told her to stop. … He pushed her away on to the bed and told her he was leaving and that she should not follow him," according to the documents. The filing also implies Amber's allegation that Johnny "violently attacked" her by hitting her with a cellphone in their apartment doesn't match up with what police found when they arrived on the scene, citing two depositions from cops who said they did not see evidence of the attack Amber had described in her request for a restraining order. In a statement to the Mirror, an attorney for Amber said: "These allegations are totally false. One needs only read the recent Rolling Stone article about Mr Depp and the lawsuit filed against him by a location manager, among many other recent news stories and lawsuits, to understand his state of mind." Amber filed for divorce from Johnny in May 2016; it was finalized the following January.
