Miley Cyrus shares not-so-cryptic 'goodbyes' post after Kaitlyn Carter split
Breaking up is hard to do, as the saying goes, but it's gotta be even harder when you do it in the spotlight — twice. In the wake of Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter's split, Miley headed to Instagram on Thursday, Sept, 26, and shared a photo of herself skipping through the air with arms raised — and her mostly bare booty out. "Goodbyes are never easy… 🖤 but g2g," wrote the bikini-clad singer. In a second post, she shared a photo of herself by a pool with one hand behind her head as she struck a sexy pose. "I'm more of a man than you'll ever be, & more of a woman than you'll ever get!' – Jonathan Larson repost @samsmith," she captioned the pic. The first post garnered plenty of supportive comments, including one from Lisa Rinna, who wrote, "living her best life!" and one from Brandi Cyrus, who chimed in with, "the slayage continues." Miley's brief romance with Kaitlynn, a longtime friend, was confirmed to have ended earlier this month. The pair were first linked romantically shortly after they'd each called time on their respective marriages.

Hailey Bieber is almost ready to walk down the aisle and say "I do" (for the second time) to Justin Bieber later this month and the 22-year-old's girlfriends aren't letting that milestone arrive without feting the bride-to-be. Posts on Instagram Story (via UsWeekly) reveal Kendall Jenner and a crew of female friends took Hailey out on Wednesday, Sept. 25, for a bachelorette bash planned by Kenner. The festivities were complete with the requisite fake veil, "bride-to-be" cups and … shall we say … trinkets representing the male anatomy. According to Us, the girls dined — and drank — together in the West Hollywood section of Los Angeles. Other guests reportedly included wardrobe stylist Maeve Reilly and Hailey's sister, Alia Baldwin. Hailey's groom reportedly waited out the festivities at a skate park.

As the actress told the Times for its October 2017 expose, Gwyneth was 22 and had just been hired to play the lead in "Emma" when he invited her to a hotel room where she said he touched her inappropriately and asked for a massage. "I was a kid, I was signed up [for the movie]," she told the Times. "I was petrified,." Gwyneth and her ex-husband, Chris Martin share Apple, now 15, and Moses Martin, 13.

Selma Blair says she's developed 'thick peach fuzz' on her face since her latest MS treatment
Selma Blair is still bravely dealing with new physical changes she's as a result of her Multiple Sclerosis treatments. The latest difference she noticed, the actress told Instagram followers this week, is hair growth. "Face it," she captioned a close-up shot. "I have rather thick and substantial peach fuzz. This is a new development." She then jokingly added that she also has "very small ears," calling that detail an "earlier development," before acknowledging she was sharing some "School pick up musings" while grabbing her 8-year-old son, Arthur. "Carry on. #selfie," she wrote before signing off. The selfie sparked dozens of kind comments ranging from how beautiful she is to notes of empathy from others who've struggled with various medical conditions. This summer, Selma, 47, underwent stem cell transplantation to rebuild her immune system and slow the pace of the MS. The approach causes many of the same side effects as chemotherapy.

Selena Gomez gets candid about her battle with depression and anxiety
Earlier this month, Selena Gomez received the McLean Award, a McLean Hospital-bestowed honor for people who "have furthered the public's understanding of psychiatric illness and mental health," according to JustJared. She reflected on her struggles with anxiety and depression in a candid acceptance speech that recently surfaced via an online video. "Last year, I was suffering mentally and emotionally and I wasn't able to stay all kept up and together. I wasn't able to keep a smile or to keep things looking normal. It felt like all of my pain and my anxiety washed over me all at once and it was one of the scariest moments of my life," she tells the audience. "I sought support and the doctors were able to give me a clear diagnosis. The moment I received that information, I actually felt equal parts of terrified and relieved. Terrified, obviously, because that veil was lifted, but relieved that I had the knowledge of why I had suffered for so many years with depression and anxiety." Before leaving the stage, she added that maintaining her mental health remains something she continues to work on. "Although this does not mean that it has all gone away, I can say that after a year of a lot of intense work, that I am happier, I am healthier, and I'm in control of my emotions and thoughts more than I've ever been," she said. "So I'm very happy about that."
Prince Harry says he feels 'deeply connected' to Botswana, having visited the country after his mother's death
In a 2017 interview, Prince Harry revealed it took him decades to seek therapy after the death of his mother, Princess Diana. One thing he did immediately to cope with the grief, however, was travel to Africa — specifically, to Botswana. On the fourth day of his royal tour in Southern Africa this week, the prince returned to Botswana. "Fifteen years I've been coming here," he said, addressing a crowd by the Chobe River where he would later help local schoolchildren plant trees at the Chobe Tree Reserve, according to E! News. "It's a sense of escapism — a real sense of purpose….I have some of my closest friends here over the years. I came here in 1997 or 1998 straight after my mum died, so it was a nice place to get away from it all." Harry went on to say he feels "deeply connected to this place and to Africa," presumably because of the charity-focused visits Diana made to the continent during her short life as well as because of the trip he and Meghan took to the country for her birthday before they wed. Harry's speech primarily focused on the importance of acknowledging climate change, which he called a "race against time and one which we are losing," before pointing to decades of scientific evidence about climate change and questioning those who deny it's happening. On Friday, Harry's scheduled to visit Angola, where he'll reopen a hospital newly christened with his mother's name. Diana famously walked through a minefield near where the hospital stands to bring attention to the need for large-scale mine clearing.
Duchess Meghan gets some love from the former FLOTUS
You can add Michelle Obama to Duchess Meghan's growing list of fans around the world. The former FLOTUS shared a heartfelt message on Instagram on Wednesday, Sept, 25, praising the actress-turned-royal for her philanthropic work. "Thank you to my friend, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex @sussexroyal, a thoughtful leader who is breaking the mold and making our world better for it," Michelle wrote alongside a photo of Meghan at a reception for youth leaders making a difference in their communities. "Whether meeting with our @ObamaFoundation Leaders or helping girls around the world seek the education they deserve, she is an inspiration to so many," concluded Michelle, a longtime advocate for improving girls' education around the world. Meghan recently interviewed Michelle for the September edition of British Vogue, which the Duchess guest-edited.
Ashton Kutcher's 'text for the truth' tweet was about impeaching Trump
When Ashton Kutcher tweeted a cell phone number and the words, "text me for the truth" this week, it was widely assumed he was directing people to his side of the story regarding his relationship with Demi Moore, who wrote extensively about their marriage in her new memoir. Turns out, Ashton had some thoughts to share about Donald Trump's impeachment inquiry. "Mila and I met with President Zelenski and his wife a little over a week ago," Ashton wrote in the reply sent to those who texted the number, according to the Daily Mail. He was referring to Ukraine's president, Volodymyr Velensky, and his wife, Mila Kunis, who was born in Ukraine. "My gut: He is committed to eliminating corruption in Ukraine," Ashton said in the text. "He's also committed to ending the war and grateful for the US financial commitment because they needed it." In a second text reply, he wrote: "If our president used that financial aid to leverage president Zelensky to investigate [Trump's rival Joe] Biden he should be impeached. If our president did not use it as leverage and simply encouraged president Zelensky to investigate Biden without cause he should be impeached." Finally, in a third text, Ashton declared, "If you like President Trump or not America is the priority soliciting foreign interference in our election is unAmerican."
Bethenny Frankel dismisses 'champagne socialists' who boycotted Eqiunox over Trump fundraiser
Bethenny Frankel isn't convinced there was any point to this summer's boycotts of Equinox and SoulCycle sparked by news the chairman of the company that owns the gym and spin studio chains hosted a Donald Trump fundraiser. Speaking on an Advertising Week panel in New York City this week, Bethenny —who's spearheaded multiple, post-disaster relief campaigns in regions like the Bahamas — urged other business leaders to find more meaningful ways to effect change. "People weren't going to go to a SoulCycle class for a day in the Hamptons because Steve Ross was having a party," she said, according to Page Six. "That's like a champagne socialist … Oh really, you're not going to spin today and talk about it? I'm so impacted, I feel like the world is going to change because you're not going to put your a– on a rubber seat and drink water." The Skinnygirl founder continued: "I'm not going to bull—- anybody, I don't know everything. If I get in, I get in all the way. I've been all over the world, I've raised millions of dollars in relief efforts, and I've really cared about each thing and it's been contagious and addictive for other people to care about each thing so deeply. So you want to go in deep, not that light and bright like, let's talk about this one thing that everyone's talking about today, like light a candle and move on." She added that experience isn't necessarily key when it comes to helping people. "I never knew a thing about relief work," she admitted, "and literally did two [of the] largest private relief efforts in US history based on just being passionate and getting things done and connecting with other people and asking for help."
Kristen Bell reveals what's next for her after 'The Good Place'
With the fourth and final season of "The Good Place" returning to NBC on Thursday, Sept. 26, there's a good chance its star, Kristen Bell, is digging her heels into a much-needed break. "I think what's next, truly for me though, is taking a minute for my family," she told E! News last month during the TCA press tour. "That's been a very difficult decision and I've only made it over the past two weeks because I was going to do a show and now, I've decided not to." In addition to "The Good Place," the actress and mother of two spent the last couple of years shooting "Veronica Mars," contributing a voice part to one animated series and producing another. Now, she's ready to stay close to home for a while. "I have a bunch of other things and it just takes an enormous amount of hours and an enormous amount of focus," she explained in August. "I would like to have the next couple of months to get my kids back on track for school and really just live in my own body for a minute, just for a couple of months." She added that she's "not quitting or anything…I like being an actress, I love being Kristen and I'm going to rediscover that this fall."
