Gisele Bundchen
Giselle, who became the highest-paid ($33 million a year) supermodel by 26, is sexy and the world knows it. But that wasn't always the case for the beauty known as "Boobs From Brazil." After being teased mercilessly for her height as a kid, she was discovered in a São Paulo McDonald's at 14 only to move to New York during the heroin chic era where her athletic build and sun-kissed skin went underappreciated. She was even asked to get a nose job by clients on more than one occasion. But top photographers Mario Testino and Steven Meisel saw her potential and coaxed designers and magazine editors to give her a chance. By 2001, she'd become a Victoria's Secret Angel (a title she'd hold until 2007), graced nine Vogue covers and bagged the notoriously unattainable Leonardo DiCaprio. Their on-again, off-again rocky relationship lasted six years. Maybe it was his influence that inspired her to act opposite Queen Latifah and Jimmy Fallon in the box office disappointment Taxi and portray an editor in The Devil Wears Prada. She moved on first with surfer and Pamela Anderson ex Kelly Slater and then with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in 2006, stepping up to the stepmom plate for his child with ex Bridget Moynahan. The couple, who married in 2009 in ceremonies in Santa Monica and at her house in Costa Rica, have added to their brood twice — son Benjamin in 2009 and daughter Vivian in 2012.
