Daughter of Goldie Hawn and '70s comedian Bill Hudson and stepdaughter of Kurt Russell, it was pretty much a given that Kate Hudson would choose a career in Hollywood. Her first professional job was guesting on Party of Five in 1996 and by 1998, she had made her first film, Ricochet River. Her resume is mostly littered with comedies like 200 Cigarettes, How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days, Fool's Gold and Bride Wars, but her most critically acclaimed role, for which she won a Golden Globe and was nominated for an Oscar, was playing groupie Penny Lane in the 2000 drama Almost Famous. More recently, she has put her singing and dancing skills to the test in Rob Marshall's Nine and on Glee. Her love life is as bohemian chic as the fashions she makes trendy. She recounted losing her virginity and the ensuing conversation she had with her mom at 15 to Details. She met future husband Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes at a Halloween party when she was 19. They started dating in 2000, married on New Year's Eve that same year, had son Ryder in 2004 and divorced in 2006. She also counts actor Dax Shepard, cyclist Lance Armstrong, Owen Wilson and Yankee Alex Rodriguez among her famous former flames. She returned to her rocker roots in 2010 when she hooked up with Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy. A little over a year from going public with the relationship, the two were engaged and welcomed son Bingham.
