T.I.'s 'Whatever You Like' — once used in a Trump campaign ad — is now a pro-Biden meme
Looks like an unlikely celeb could be poised to cash in on the long, long (long …) period of vote counting after Election Day. Thanks to T.I.'s drawled enunciation of the line "I want yo' body, need yo' body" on his 2008 hit "Whatever You Like," the track went viral again this week as supporters of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden noticed it sounds like T.I.'s saying, "I want Joe Biden, need Joe Biden." The similarity — and, perhaps, the fact we could all use a laugh this week — has sparked memes galore, with social media users cracking jokes like, "T.I. really called this in 2008" when "he said I want Joe Biden need Joe Biden," a quip that appeared on Twitter against a backdrop of the election map. BuzzFeed tracks back to a tweet from earlier this week, when someone referenced the lyric with Biden's name subbed in. The outlet also points to previous instances of Biden supporters using the track to get pumped. But the song was also used by Donald Trump's campaign in an ad posted to Snapchat this past spring — with the lyrics changed (via a parody account) to, "I don't want Joe Biden, need Joe Biden. Long as you've got me you don't need Joe Biden." At the time, T.I.'s camp responded with a statement that read (via Refinery29): "It goes without saying that T.I. would not in any way ever support the divisive policies and destructive propaganda of Trump. The people of our country deserve far better than this."

Carl Lentz, the megachurch pastor Justin Bieber has reportedly described as a spiritual advisor and "second father," is speaking out about news he was fired from Hillsong Church. On the heels of news the now former pastor was fired over "moral failures," Carl shared a long Instagram post explaining that he cheated on his wife of 17 years, Laura. "I was unfaithful in my marriage, the most important relationship in my life and held accountable for that. This failure is on me, and me alone and I take full responsibility for my actions," wrote Carl, 41. "I now begin a journey of rebuilding trust with my wife, Laura and my children and taking real time to work on and heal my own life and seek out the help that I need," he told his followers. "I am deeply sorry for breaking the trust of many people who we have loved serving and understand that this news can be very hard and confusing for people to hear and process," he continued, saying later that he'll "pray you can forgive me and that over time I can live a life where trust is earned again." As of Thursday afternoon, Justin hadn't spoken out about the news. According to his Instagram, he was getting ready for a virtual performance later in the evening with Chance the Rapper.

Britney Spears to file petition to remove her dad entirely from her conservatorship
So much for that "workable solution." Britney Spears plans to ask the judge overseeing her conservatorship case to remove her father, Jamie Spears, entirely from the helm. New court documents filed Tuesday show the singer's lawyer alerted the court he'll be "filing a petition to remove James as conservator of the estate," and asking that Jamie be "suspended immediately" from his role as co-conservator alongside Bessemer Trust Company "upon the appointment of Bessemer Trust" as sole conservator, according to Us Weekly. Britney indicated in another filing that she wanted Bessemer Trust to take over as sole conservator, but Jamie only agreed to share the duties with the company, not give up the reins he's held for 12 years. According to the documents, Britney claims Jamie recently hired a new business manager for her estate without "consulting his daughter or advising her of the terms of [the new business manager's] engagement or fees." The documents go on accuse Jamie of doing so in order "to retain full functional control of her assets, books and records in the face of BRITNEY'S objections, TRISTAR's resignation and the appointment of BESSEMER TRUST." The singer's lawyer argues Jamie's "simple litigation strategy is to introduce a new gatekeeper who admittedly has a major working relationship with his legal team," saying it's "now obvious that any effort to create a viable working relationship" between Britney, Jamie and Bessemer Trust "would be doomed to failure." The next hearing is currently set for Nov. 10.

Stevie Wonder urges Americans to 'lean on the goodness in your heart' amid historic divisions
Following his recent appearance at a rally for Joe Biden, Stevie Wonder seems focused on a nonpartisan message of unity and the need for healing in America. On Election Day, the 70-year-old singer shared a video on his YouTube channel in which he urged fans to come together and end the historic divisions gripping the nation — "no matter who wins" the presidential race. He also has some thoughts on how that might happen, which he shared with Oprah Winfrey for her next, "The Oprah Conversation," airing Friday, Nov. 6, on Apple TV. "We still have the choice to love or hate, to show compassion or show contempt, to advocate peace or violence," Stevie say in his YouTube video. "No matter who wins, we can still choose how this country will look and feel. We cannot continue to be a divided United States." He continues, "We must heal – and how do we heal? We treat the pain, the hurt, the wound, the illness." The singer elaborates on those themes in his interview with Oprah, who at one asks what he believes "we can be leaning on right now," according to People. "Lean on the goodness in your heart. Lean on that," Stevie replies. "Lean on knowing that how you do today will affect what will happen to your children and their children and so forth tomorrow. Lean on the fact that you have to speak and not be afraid." The singer — who debuted two new songs last month after revealing he'd had a kidney transplant this past winter — also delved into race relations in his video, pointing out that "this country has never had an honest and meaningful discussion on the entitlement and reparations for slavery." Looking ahead, Stevie urged: "So America, we gotta fix this. We gotta make this work. This pain will not go away until we face our truth. Pain for the past and for the present. We have been unkind to each other and we need to stop because we're all humans trying to live our best lives." Finally, he reminded fans to remember, "The universe is still watching us."

Brian Austin Green is feeling grateful for the support of his fans as he continues to navigate his split from Megan Fox. Riffing on what she'd written beside a photo of her with her new boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly at the time, he repurposed her language for their sons, captioning his post, "Achingly beautiful boys…… My heart is yours."
Olivia Wilde, Florence Pugh's new film stops production after positive COVID-19 test
Less than a month into production, Olivia Wilde's new film, "Don't Worry Darling," shut down this week after someone on the film's team tested positive for COVID-19, Deadline reported Wednesday. The New Line psychological thriller reportedly paused work immediately after the unidentified person learned they were positive during routine testing required of everyone involved in the production. Olivia, who's both directing and starring in the film alongside Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Gemma Chan and Chris Pine, was photographed on the Los Angeles set as recently as Tuesday. According to Deadline, the person who contracted the virus is "not a member of the principal cast but someone who was in close enough proximity to them that the shutdown was deemed necessary to find out if anyone else on the production has been exposed." Everyone is now reportedly isolating in the hopes the shut-down won't last longer than the average 14 day period that's become the norm in such cases.
Jeannie Mai shares an upbeat health update four days after surgery
Four days after she had emergency surgery stemming from a rare but potentially deadly inflammatory condition, Jeannie Mai is on the road to recovery. The co-host of "The Real," who had to end her tenure on "Dancing With the Stars" this week because of the health issue, shared an update on her Instagram Story Thursday. Wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with a photo of the "Vote Jeannie" billboard her fiancee Jeezy took out for her "DWTS" stint, she joked in a caption, "No chewing no speaking no bad tshirts," (via ET). She previously told fans her surgery went well, but said she learned she could have lost the ability to breathe had she waited any longer for treatment.

Californian-turned New Jersey-ite Rosario Dawson voted in her new home state this for the first time this week as her boyfriend, Sen. Cory Booker, was reelected to the U.S. Senate. But Cory wasn't the only candidate on the ballot Rosario was excited to support. As the actress joked while crashing Cory's interview on the Wednesday edition of "Jimmy Kimmel Live," she was also happy to help usher in a new era of legality for the recreational use of a certain regulated plant product in New Jersey. "I was sad not to be able to vote in California," she said, according to ET. "There were such incredible and important propositions and measures to vote for which passed which I'm so grateful for, but when I came here … I got to vote for my man and I got to vote for marijuana." Rosario took a more serious tone on social media after the election, telling Cory, "To know your leadership will continue to guide us with love, brilliance, patience, grace and effectiveness is the kind of representation and hope we need."

When it comes to politics and the election, Kerry Washington and her husband Nnamdi Asomugha aren't shielding their 6-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son from the news — they're just finding kid-friendly ways to present it. "We do talk a lot about it, we talk a lot about the election in my house," Kerry says on the Thursday edition of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (via People). "We do talk about bad guys and good guys," she explained. "They know what superheroes are. In our house, superheroes are the people who vote and the people who work at the polls and the people who community organize and leave the world a better place. And bad guys are people who, I mean I haven't been this specific with them, but who separate families and take away health care." The "Scandal" alum has spent much of the last few months traveling around the U.S., encouraging voter participation. Asked how she explained her trips to her little ones, she said she simply told them that not everyone knows "how important their voice is and that they need to vote." She added: "So we do, we try to talk about it in ways that are not scary."

In keeping with what appears to have been a very amicable breakup — she called him the "greatest ex-husband" a couple of years back — Page Six now reports Jennifer requested joint legal and physical custody of the former couple's kids, Ruby, 13, and Otis, 11. She also reportedly told the court she and Tobey are aiming to settle the other aspects of their divorce in mediation. The "Spider-Man" star married Jennifer, a Los Angeles-based jewelry designer, in September 2007.
