The Beckhams can't seem to avoid split rumors on their 19th anniversary
Victoria Beckham and David Beckham celebrated their 19-year wedding anniversary in Paris together on Wednesday, July 4. But even their sweet social media posts from the meal they shared did little to quell interest in the status of their marriage, which was recently hit with rumors that a split is imminent. Though the rumors have been denied, the Daily Mail jumped on photos from one day before the couple's anniversary that showed the two at their daughter, Harper's school for "sports day." Invoking the expertise of multiple body language experts, the Mail broke down ways in which Victoria was allegedly being given the cold shoulder by her husband. "These PDAs seem to be one-sided with David apparently sitting with an impassive-looking back view, while Victoria binds her arms around him lovingly, staring up into his face as though trying to get his attention," body language expert Judi James is quoted as saying. A second expert, however, suggested that a combination of factors including the heat that day likely made David and Victoria's body language difficult to interpret correctly. Whatever was going on between them, if anything, seemed to have been put behind the two by Wednesday, when they each shared photos from a special dinner date in Paris. "19 years!!! X I love you so much x," Victoria captioned one shot. David followed suit, posting, "19 years wow… This time 19 years ago I was dressed from head to toe in purple… Happy anniversary to the most amazing wife & mummy… Love you x." Later, on Instagram Stories, Victoria gave followers a glimpse at the kind of wine a gal with 14 engagement rings sips on special occasions with her man. The couple apparently rang in their 19th year as husband and wife with a 1990 Chateau Lafite Rothschild, which retails for about $2,000. A rep for the couple recently slammed the split rumors as a "crock of s—," saying "there is no statement due, no divorce," and "this is all very bizarre and an embarrassing waste of time."

Vanessa Kirby addresses Tom Cruise romance rumors
"Mission Impossible: Fallout" had barely started shooting when Vanessa Kirby started seeing tabloid headlines about her supposed romance with Tom Cruise. "Even though the [film] crew were there, it was all like, 'The next wife falls at his feet,'" she recalls in Marie Claire UK's August cover story (via the Daily Mail). "The most disconcerting thing was the people I didn't think would believe it, did, and they were texting my boyfriend, asking, 'Are you OK?'" Yep. It would have been complicated for the 31-year-old BAFTA winner to have started dating her 56-year-old costar because Vanessa had already been dating Callum Turner for years at that point. As for the friends who expressed concern for Callum, Vanessa admitted, "I don't think they believe anything they read now because you just can't. None of it is real. To be getting married to him? Not even a snog, it was marriage." In the meantime, Vanessa was getting to know Tom for who he is, rather than who he's perceived to be. "I tried to just meet the man really, and the man is so different to any stuff you'd read, because it always is," she explains. "It helped me to see that all the stuff that gets written is just such a load of bulls— about everyone." That lesson's likely to come in handy for "The Crown" star when "Mission Impossible" hits theaters July 27, potentially making her a household name. "It is a weird feeling," Vanessa says. "I definitely don't feel it yet. I've been lucky because I barely get recognized, and I keep my relationship super private." That said, she didn't mind dishing a little bit about what she loves about her beau. "[He's] just completely wonderful and he's my best friend, so that's … I guess you can either choose to talk about it or not," she muses. "If you talk about it, it becomes interesting to people, but if you don't, then it's not."

Fans are hoping Duchess Kate joins Meghan Markle at Wimbledon
Is there a royal double date on the horizon for Wimbledon? Fans and royal watchers sure seem to hope so. The Daily Mail reports that between Meghan planning her first appearance at the tournament as a member of the royal family, and Kate's well-documented tennis fandom, it would make sense for the two to attend some matches together — potentially with their husbands, Prince Harry and Prince William. "With Federer and Serena playing back-to-back I think we may get a Kate-Meghan outing to see the last two matches," the blogger Royal Suitor recently wrote, referring to the Cambridge family's long held support of Roger Federer and Meghan's friendship with Serena Williams. "Or a possible full Cambridge-Sussex date double date," Royal Suited mused. "Harry's not a tennis guy but they did come to his polo." Other fans on Twitter have posted similar sentiments, despite the fact that Kate is still technically on maternity leave from her royal duties. Wimbledon runs through July 15 in London.

Scarlett Johansson criticized for playing transgender man
The #MeToo movement spawned a larger conversation about the importance of creating more strong roles for women in film and TV. But what about other groups that are traditionally overlooked in scripts? That question surfaced this week with a controversy around how and why Scarlett Johansson landed the lead role in the Rupert Sanders-directed "Rub & Tug," a crime biopic about Dante "Tex" Gill, a crime boss who identified as a man and operated illegal massage parlors in the '70s. "Actors who are trans never even get to audition FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN ROLES OF TRANS CHARACTERS," "Sense*" star Jamie Clayton tweeted this week after hearing the news (via USAToday). Trace Lysette from "Transparent" was frustrated, too, tweeting "I wouldn't be as upset if I was getting in the same rooms as Jennifer Lawrence and Scarlett for cis roles. But we know that's not the case. A mess." As commenters weighed in on the casting choice another issue surfaced: the fact that Scarlett's role in the flop, "Ghost in the Shell," also directed by Rupert Sanders, was Japanese. "Diversity is important in Hollywood, and I would never want to feel like I was playing a character that was offensive," she told Marie Claire when asked about the backlash her acceptance of the role had created. "Also, having a franchise with a female protagonist driving it is such a rare opportunity. Certainly, I feel the enormous pressure of that — the weight of such a big property on my shoulders," she said at the time. In this case, Scarlett replied through her rep to Bustle's request for a comment about her new role. "Tell them that they can be directed to Jeffrey Tambor, Jared Leto, and Felicity Huffman's reps for comment," Scarlett said, referencing other cisgender actors who have played members of the trans community. When Jeffrey Tambor won his second Emmy for his role in "Transparent," in 2016, he urged Hollywood to "please give transgender talent a chance. Give them auditions. Give them their story," adding, "I would be happy if I were the last cisgender male to play a transgender female."
Michael Buble reveals the gender of his third child with Luisana Lopilato
Michael Buble and his wife, Luisana Lopilato, are set to become parents for the third time in less than a month — and this time, their new addition comes with one key difference. "I've got my first little girl coming in three weeks, and I've actually never said that before in public," Michael recently told Today FM (via the Daily Mail). "I've got a daughter coming!" The singer first announced his wife was expecting again when he hosted the Juno Awards in Vancouver in March. The couple are also parents to Elias, 2, and 4-year-old Noah, who Michael said is continuing to do well in his battle with liver cancer.
Kim Kardashian shares sweet videos of Saint West and Chicago West
Saint West is all about his new big brother role! On the Fourth of July, Kim Kardashian West shared a series of adorable Instagram videos that showed her 2-year-old doting on her daughter, Chicago, who was born in January and is the youngest of the three kids she shares with Kanye West. "He loves his sissy" Kim captioned a post in which the pair could be heard giggling softly as Saint gave his little sis kisses and hugs (via the Daily Mail). So far, it seems like Saint's having an easier time sharing his mom's attention with a new sibling than his 5-year-old older sister, North West, did. "I don't know if it's because she's the older sister. I don't know what it is. I thought it was a phase. She does not like her brother and it's so hard for me," Kim told Ryan Seacrest on "Live! With Kelly and Ryan," last August. "She would get so jealous when I would breastfeed and all that kind of stuff," Kim said. "And now, the phase isn't going away." She has since clarified that the two are now getting along fine.
Janet Jackson heads to Essence Fest after Joe Jackson's funeral
When Janet Jackson accepted the Impact award at the 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards this year, she thanked her father, Joe Jackson, saying he "drove me to be the best I can be." Now, as she continues to mourn in the wake of his death on June 27, the singer seems committed to putting the work ethic her dad instilled in her to good use. According to TMZ, Janet spent her Fourth of July heading to New Orleans, where she has no plans to cancel is scheduled performance at Essence Festival next weekend. Janet's also expected to continue her State of the World tour through August, as planned. Neither she nor Riley have commented publicly on the split.
Khloe Kardashian teases Kendall Jenner again on Instagram
Khloe Kardashian's got a new hobby: trolling her model sister, Kendall Jenner, on Instagram. A few weeks after she teased Kendall by asking "Why did you cut my head off?" when Kendall shared bikini pics of herself that didn't show her face, Khloe found another golden opportunity to make the same joke, according to JustJared. On Wednesday, July 4, Kendall shared a pic of herself flaunting her runway-ready bod in a bikini. "Can you stop photoshopping your face into my body," Khloe wrote in the comments. "It's getting weird now."
Christina El Moussa plans to open drug and alcohol treatment centers
Christina El Moussa has more new projects in the works. In addition to her upcoming "Flip or Flop" spinoff show, "Christina on the Coast," (and her increasingly serious relationship with Ant Anstead) the HGTV star announced this week she plans to open a handful of substance abuse rehab centers in 2019. "Two years ago I was focused on trying not to sink," she tells People. "But after I started exercising, eating right, surrounding myself with the correct people, I felt this switch." Among those people was Christina's pastor, Tim Storey, who supported her during the dark period in her life and will partner with Christina and her friend Cassie Zebisch to open the facilities. "Everyone's been there. Everyone's had a setback, but it's how you move forward and what you do with your future, that's what matters," Christina says. "When I met Tim, we realized there was an opportunity for us to change people's lives. I love to fix up a house, but I also love to help people. I feel like that's my calling." Last year, a report from InTouch suggested Christina's ex, Tarek El Moussa, attended rehab for his drinking in 2016.
