Kate Hudson is one of our all-time favorite actresses and has been killing it on-screen since her film debut in 1998's "Desert Blue." Over the years, Kate's shined in a variety of roles and starred opposite some of Hollywood's hottest hunks, like Matthew McConaughey in "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" — which just so happens to be celebrating its 15th anniversary on Feb. 7, 2018. In honor of the film's milestone and all the dreamy on-screen romances Kate's taken part in, Wonderwall.com is ranking her movie lovers from lukewarm to sizzling hot. No. 23: Tom in "200 Cigarettes"

In the 1999 romantic dramedy "200 Cigarettes," Kate Hudson stars as Cindy, a ditsy 20-something who has a few romantic entanglements, including one with a possible drug mule named Tom (played by Casey Affleck). Call us crazy, but Tom's bushy hair and punk-rock look is like an anti-aphrodisiac.

No. 22: Lou in "The Killer Inside Me"

In 2010, Kate Hudson teamed back up with Casey Affleck in "The Killer Inside Me." The crime drama features Casey as a murderous sheriff and child rapist named Lou and Kate as Amy, his equally dark girlfriend. While we're not trying to hate on Casey, his character's twisted mind and penchant for violence is also super-unattractive. Boy, bye.

No. 21: Russell Hammond in "Almost Famous"

One of Kate Hudson's first major movies was the 2000 adventure dramedy "Almost Famous" in which she played Penny Lane, leader of the music groupies known as the Band-Aids (the performance earned her a Golden Globe Award and an Oscar nomination). In the film, Penny had a rocky but passionate love affair with narcissistic musician Russell Hammond (played by Billy Crudup). Cute? Yes. But he was also a totally self-absorbed jerk-face.

No. 20: Jack in "200 Cigarettes"

Another low-key romance from the 1999 dramedy "200 Cigarettes" was between Cindy (played by Kate Hudson) and Jack (Jay Mohr). The would-be couple had a hard time hitting it off on their dinner date because Jack was super-paranoid and Cindy was clearly getting annoyed. Still, Jack had a certain je ne sais quoi that deserves our praise.

No.19: Daniel in "Bride Wars"

In the 2009 rom-com "Bride Wars," Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson star as BFFs who develop an intense rivalry over their same-day weddings. In the hilarious film, Steve Howey (right) plays Daniel, the lovable groom-to-be who's ready to walk down the aisle with his super-intense and slightly bossy fiancée, Liv (played by Kate). Daniel gives all of us strong, independent women hope that there's a mild-mannered hottie out there waiting for us to tell him (or her) what to do.

No. 18: Tank in "My Best Friend's Girl"

In the 2008 romantic comedy "My Best Friend's Girl," Kate Hudson plays Alexis, a fun and feisty woman who's no match for bad-date-for-hire Tank (played by Dane Cook). When Tank's hired by Alexis' ex to take her out on the worst date ever, she ends up finding his antics surprisingly charming. Although Tank tries really hard to be a disappointment, his humor and the way he looks at Alexis had us all swooning pretty hard.

No. 17: Beau in "Gossip"

In the 2000 drama "Gossip," Kate Hudson plays Naomi, a college good girl who's known on campus for saving herself for marriage. When a group of students spreads a rumor that she's sleeping with her boyfriend, Beau (played by Joshua Jackson), Naomi surprises everyone by reporting Beau to campus police for rape. While we'd ruin the strange plot if we said too much, we do find out in the end (spoiler alert) that Beau didn't rape Naomi.

No. 16: Finn in "Fool's Gold"

In 2008, Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey were reunited on the big screen in the adventure comedy "Fool's Gold." In the film, Matthew plays Finn, a deep-sea treasure hunter who's lost everything (including his wife, Tess, played by Kate) in his pursuit of sunken riches. When all seems hopeless, a powerful clue turns up that leads him and Tess on a journey beneath the water where they discover their love story might not be over yet. (Plus, it's Matthew and he's so hot it hurts us in our soul, even when he's being an obsessive, money-hungry failure of a husband.)

No. 15: Dex in "Something Borrowed"

Kate Hudson and Colin Egglesfield star as Darcy and Dex in the 2011 romantic dramedy "Something Borrowed." Although engaged to Darcy, Dex crosses a major line when he ends up drunk and in bed with Darcy's best friend, Rachel (played by Ginnifer Goodwin). Honestly, Dex's abs and stunning jawline are the only reason he made it this high on our list because otherwise, he was a truly terrible fiance.

No. 14: Carl in "You, Me and Dupree"

In the 2006 romantic comedy "You, Me and Dupree," Kate Hudson and Matt Dillon play Molly and Carl, a newlywed couple excited about starting their lives together as husband and wife. The only problem? Carl's best man, Dupree (played by Owen Wilson), decides to take up residence with them in their new place and becomes the world's worst third wheel. Carl might be cute, but he's obviously got some co-dependency issues.

No. 13: Edgar in "Le Divorce"

Thierry Lhermitte and Kate Hudson co-starred in the 2003 romantic dramedy "Le Divorce." When Isabel Walker (played by Kate) comes to France to visit her newly divorced sister, she's wooed by a few gentlemen callers, including the much older and more sophisticated Edgar (Thierry Lhermitte), who also happens to be married. Naughty? Yes. But there's something mischievously sexy about Edgar's seduction of Isabel.

No. 12: Joseph Spell in "Marshall"

For the record, we were torn about whether or not to include the relationship between Eleanor Strubing (Kate Hudson) and Joseph Spell (Sterling K. Brown) in the 2017 biopic "Marshall" because in both the film and in real life, Joseph was accused not of being Eleanor's lover, but of raping her. However (potential spoiler alert), Joseph later reveals that they had a consensual affair, which made Eleanor afraid (due to Jim Crow laws in the South during the time), leading her to accuse him of rape to save her good name. While their story has remained controversial, we felt it deserved a spot on our list.

No. 11: Adam in "About Adam"

Early in Kate Hudson's career, she starred as Lucy in the curious romantic comedy "About Adam." In the film, Adam (Stuart Townsend) is an intriguing stranger who forms passionate romantic connections with Lucy as well as practically every member of Lucy's family. While we get how everyone in the family might want to make whoopie with an extremely handsome Adam, we're also slightly concerned that he's a walking venereal disease.

No. 10: Tom in "Good People"

Sometimes, normal, nice folks do terrible things. That's the premise of the 2014 thriller "Good People." The film stars Kate Hudson and James Franco as Anna and Tom Wright, a young couple facing a mountain of debt who discover a large stash of cash that doesn't belong to them. Their decision to play "finders-keepers" has dangerous consequences. Even though he's a tad bit greedy, we're feeling Tom in a big way.

No. 9: Marilyn in "Dr. T & the Women"

In the 2000 romantic dramedy "Dr. T & the Women," Kate Hudson stars as Dee Dee, the daughter of beloved gynecologist and women's advocate Dr. T (played by Richard Gere). Unbeknownst to Dr. T, his daughter (who's engaged to be married) is secretly carrying on a passionate love affair with her maid of honor, Marilyn (played by Liv Tyler). Since there are few legitimate on-screen romances between same sex couples, we can't help but cheer for this relationship, even if it wasn't out and proud.

No. 8: Alex in "Alex & Emma"

Luke Wilson and Kate Hudson teamed up in the 2003 rom-com "Alex & Emma." In the film, Kate plays Emma, an opinionated stenographer hired by a down-on-his luck writer named Alex (Luke). While we think Alex's gambling and drinking vices are a major red flag for the future of their romance, we were secretly hoping the two would fall in love pretty much the entire film. Spoiler alert: They do.

No. 7: Aidan in "Wish I Was Here"

Zach Braff and Kate Hudson play Aidan and Sarah, a married couple who gave us all relationship goals in the 2014 dramatic comedy "Wish I Was Here." Aidan is that low-key, hot husband and dad who's facing a midlife crisis, which is amplified by the news that his father is dying. As low-key, hot husbands and dads do, Aidan rises to the occasion and inspires his family (and really us all) to live in the moment and embrace the now. Sigh.

No. 6: Julian in "A Little Bit of Heaven"

In the 2011 fantasy drama "A Little Bit of Heaven," Kate Hudson stars as Marley, a woman who's just discovered she's terminally ill. Her handsome doctor, Julian (Gael Garcia Bernal), falls hopelessly in love with her and the two have a life-affirming romance that had us all swooning (although we were wondering about the ethics of a doctor dating his patient).

No. 5: Pastor Dan in "Raising Helen"

Sure, Pastor Dan (played by John Corbett) was a man of the cloth in the 2004 romantic dramedy "Raising Helen," but he still had eyeballs. When he meets Helen (Kate Hudson), a woman who's suddenly found herself the legal guardian of her deceased sister's three children, he can't help but fall in love. The pastor's kind heart and willingness to help (and his beautiful face) had us all dropping to our knees to give thanks.

No. 4: Harry in "The Four Feathers"

In the 2002 romantic drama "The Four Feathers," Kate Hudson stars as Ethne, a socialite in 1884 whose handsome soldier fiance, Harry (played by Heath Ledger), shocks everyone by resigning his post right before an important battle. The act of cowardice tears the former couple apart, but little does everyone know that Harry's actually gone undercover. Harry's unsung bravery and the personal hardship he endures just makes him all the more handsome to us.

No. 3: Mike in "Deepwater Horizon"

Although Mark Wahlberg and Kate Hudson have only a few scenes together in the 2016 dramatic thriller "Deepwater Horizon," the love they share is undeniable. They play married couple Mike and Felicia who, despite frequent time spent apart while Mike works on an offshore drilling rig, are practically oozing with adoration for one another. Their intense romance takes an unexpected turn when an explosion threatens to kill Mike and everyone on the rig. Of course the drama only serves to make Mike even hotter.

No. 2: Changez in "The Reluctant Fundamentalist"

Although many viewers were (understandably) upset by the ambiguous ending of the 2012 dramatic thriller "The Reluctant Fundamentalist" starring Kate Hudson and Riz Ahmed, we couldn't help but feel all the feels for the love shared between their two characters, Erica and Changez. The union of two people from different worlds who connect through their hearts even when the world around them is pulling them apart was one we couldn't ignore.

No. 1: Ben in "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days"

It might be one of the cheesiest storylines she's ever done (second only to "Fool's Gold"), but no one can deny the hot, hot, hot on-screen chemistry between Andie Anderson (Kate Hudson) and her experimental boyfriend, Ben Barry (Matthew McConaughey). When Andie is tasked with writing a column on how to make a man dump a woman in 10 days or less, she sets her sights on hunky advertising exec Ben, who, unbeknownst to Andie, was recently challenged to prove his marketing prowess by making a woman fall in love with him also in 10 days or less. As Andie pulls every trick in the book to make Ben run away, he keeps coming back for more, hoping to win her heart (and his deal). In the end (spoiler alert, but really — why haven't you seen this yet?), they both fall in love. We'll never stop loving Ben + Andie (Bandie? Anden?) and we're so not sorry the duo made it to our No. 1 spot.
