Stars you forgot were in movies together

Twenty years ago, Jennifer Lopez and George Clooney starred together in the sexy, funny noir film "Out of Sight." Though the two are still massive superstars, it's unlikely they would be pairing up on the big screen nowadays. In honor of the 20th anniversary of the film's release on June 26, 1998, we're rounding up some of the other celebs you might have forgotten were once co-stars! Keep reading to see some other stars who once shared the screen!

Can you believe Roseanne Barr's film debut was alongside none other than Meryl Streep?! In 1989, the polar opposites starred in "She-Devil," a dark comedy in which Roseanne's character, overweight housewife Ruth, loses it when her husband leaves her for glamorous romance novelist Mary, played by Meryl. The part earned Meryl a Golden Globe nomination for best actress in a comedy.

Did you know that Jennifer Aniston and Meghan Markle once shared the screen? Yep, both ladies had roles in the 2011 comedy "Horrible Bosses," though Jen was a lead, playing one of said horrible bosses, Dr. Julia Harris, and Meghan had a very small role as a FedEx worker who delivered a few lines.

Kim Cattrall and Britney Spears? No, it wasn't a "Sex and the City" episode that united these two, but the movie "Crossroads." The 2002 chick-flick starred Britney, who went on a road trip with pals (played by Zoe Saldana and Taryn Manning) as part of a quest to find her birth mom (played by Kim). Another surprising fact about this flick? It was written by Shonda Rhimes!

"Friends" star David Schwimmer and Gwyneth Paltrow were once an on-screen item? It's true! David's character, Tom, had a longtime crush on Gwyneth Paltrow's character, Julie, in the 1996 romantic comedy "The Pallbearer."

Who doesn't love Danny Trejo? The criminal-turned-actor has done his fair share of films, but did you remember his role alongside Jake Gyllenhaal? The unlikely co-stars shared the screen in the 2001 comedy "Bubble Boy." Jake's character, Jimmy, doesn't have an immune system and must live in a bubble. He meets Danny's character, Slim, a biker.

Though it sounds wack, in the 2008 film "The Wackness," Sir Ben Kingsley co-starred with an Olsen twin! Yep, Mary-Kate Olsen shared the screen with the legendary actor. The film also starred Josh Peck and Olivia Thirlby.

Back in 1998, Angelina Jolie and Ryan Phillippe were an on-screen item, both playing club kids in the film "Playing By Heart."

"Ed Wood" saw two unlikely co-stars playing lovers in 1994 — Johnny Depp and Sarah Jessica Parker! Johnny played the titular role, bringing the filmmaker to life, while Sarah played Dolores, one of his girlfriends.

See a resemblance between these two actresses? Jane Fonda played Lindsay Lohan's grandmother in the 2007 film "Georgia Rule." If you missed this one, you didn't miss much — the film scored an 18 percent fresh rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes.

These two stars both had popular MTV reality shows, but seeing them unite on the big screen was pretty surprising! Jessica Simpson and Johnny Knoxville joined forces for the 2005 film "The Dukes of Hazzard" as Daisy Duke and Luke Duke, respectively. Seann William Scott rounded out the Duke siblings in the critically panned flick.

Helen Mirren sharing the screen with Cuba Gooding Jr.? Sounds strange, but it did happen! Both had roles in the 2005 thriller "Shadowboxer," with Helen playing Cuba's stepmother — who also happens to be his lover and fellow contract killer!

Dane Cook and Jessica Alba? Yep, those two were an on-screen item once upon a time! They starred in the forgettable 2007 film "Good Luck Chuck," a comedy about a man trying to break a curse.

Before becoming a fixture in award-worthy flicks, Amy Adams fell for McDreamy! Yep, "Grey's Anatomy" star Patrick Dempsey played Amy's romantic interest in the musical 2007 Disney film "Enchanted."

Kristen Bell and Cher? These two shared the screen in the 2010 musical "Burlesque," which also starred Christina Aguilera, Eric Dane, Julianne Hough and Stanley Tucci… talk about a random group!

Though they aren't an obvious duo, "Lady Bird" star Saoirse Ronan once played Mark Wahlberg's daughter in a film. The stars teamed up in the 2009 drama "The Lovely Bones," directed by Peter Jackson. It picked up some accolades that award season including Oscar and Golden Globe nominations for the unlikely co-stars as well as colleague Stanley Tucci, plus a BAFTA nomination for Saoirse.

Leonardo DiCaprio and… Kelly Ripa? Although they don't seem like obvious co-stars, the two were both in the 1996 drama "Marvin's Room," which came out just one year before Leo's career exploded with the release of "Titanic."

2001 saw two megastars unite for "The Mexican." The film featured Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts as on-screen lovers, with Brad playing the bad guy, Jerry, while Julia was Samantha, a woman trying to change his ways.

Did you know that Clint Eastwood and Justin Timberlake were once co-stars? Clint starred in 2012's "Trouble With the Curve" as a baseball scout who reconnects with a former player, a role that went to former *NSYNC star Justin.

Though these days, people associate him with his "Two and a Half Men" role, Jon Cryer was also an '80s movie star. He played the younger man seduced by Demi Moore in the 1984 movie "No Small Affair."
