New details about Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale's custody mediation
Earlier this week, it was revealed Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale are in mediation in order to deal with an issue related to their children. It turns out the former couple has been trying to come to an agreement about their opposing parenting styles and the role of church and religion in their sons' lives, according to People. "They have very different points of view on how to raise their kids," an insider tells the mag of Gavin and Gwen's approach to parenting Kingston, 12, Zuma, 10, and Apollo, 4. For Gwen, the source explains, church is extremely important. Gavin, meanwhile, "isn't a Christian and parenting in that way," says the source. A second person assures the magazine despite Gavin's lack of serious religious faith, the singer "loves his kids." Says the insider: "They're the world to him. He's a great father and wants to spend as much time with them as possible." The pair announced they were ending their 20-year romance in 2015. They share joint custody of their sons.

Kendall Jenner weighs in on Justin Bieber, Hailey Baldwin's engagement
Kendall Jenner is all for Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber's wedding plans. Asked how she felt about their engagement on "The Tonight Show" on Thursday, Sept. 6, Kendall offered, "Whatever makes them happy. I'm friends with both of them," according to the Daily Mail. One thing Kendall's less happy about, however, is her engaged model's "hidden talent" which involves opening bottles with her teeth. "It makes me so nervous," Kendall said, visibly cringing. "I yell at her every time. It hurts my teeth." The fashion it-girl also admitted she hates being away from her family as much as she is lately, but said she's intentionally tried to be home so she can be on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." "I'm not always in LA and sadly I'm not always around my family because I'm like traveling or working or whatever," she explained, noting that she manages to avoid her sisters' drama somehow. "It's a lot. I don't know how I stay out of it. I don't really care," she said. She went on to say her sisters have told her that none of the many group chats going on between them involve negative words aimed her. Then she cracked: "They're probably lying."

Kanye West creative directs Pornhub Awards, debuts new video with Lil Pump
After Jimmy Kimmel asked Kanye West if having daughters had changed the way he looks at women, Kanye West replied, "No, I still look at PornHub." Out of that statement, a beautiful friendship was apparently born. The adult website gave Kanye a lifetime free membership — and this week, Kanye served as creative director for the site's Pornhub Awards. He set the ceremony in the year 6918 and according to a press release (via the Guardian) "designed a bespoke erotica-inspired award statue for each of tonight's unique categories," and released a limited-edition line of march for the occasion. The statues were intended to look like "imagined alien sex toys" because … why not. Kanye, along with some of his G.O.O.D. Music label artists, performed. The rapper even premiered a new video that was about as odd as his Pornhub Awards Creative Director gig. Executive-produced by Spike Jonze, the track, "I Love It," is a collaboration with Lil Pump featuring Adele Givens in which 'Ye and Pump dress like rectangles (for some reason?) and walk around a hallway full of female statuettes. Kanye's company DONDA reportedly styled each of the presenters as well, according to Vanity Fair.

How Meghan Markle's 'Suits' costars figured out she was dating Prince Harry
Playing Meghan Markle's on-screen father on "Suits" put Wendell Pierce at the soon-to-be Duchess of Sussex's regularly while she was falling in love with Prince Harry. "I actually didn't believe it was real, then all of a sudden I turn around and there is this guy from MI-5 [British security service] on set every day," the "Treme" alum recently told "Extra" of Meghan's romance and Harry's visits (via People). "The one thing that was clear, she was extremely happy… She had a glow," he said. "I knew she was in love … With the whirlwind of publicity and the world of being a royal now, the one thing that's constant is the fact that I know she loves him." For a while, though, neither Wendell nor Meghan said Harry's name directly. "She met this nice guy and we always talked about him in code really. You know, 'How you doing?' 'Oh, I'm going to London, coming from London, whatever,'" he recalled. Wendell was also at Meghan's side when she shot the show's wedding scene, which was filmed months before Meghan and Harry tied the knot. "We had a moment I cherish," Wendell recently told The Telegraph. "I was sitting with Meghan in her wedding dress, as we waited for a set-up. We were alone. I said to her, 'Your life is going to change. It's going to be amazing but I want you to know that I'm your friend, and no matter where you are or what's going on — if the fishbowl that you're in ever starts getting to you — you can call me." Once a dad, always a dad.

Chrissy Teigen says she was drinking too much after Luna was born
Health is about the mind and the body — a fact Chrissy Teigen has taken to heart in the last few years. In the October edition of Women's Health, the model, cookbook author and mother of two explains she had a number of realizations after dealing with postpartum depression that sent her into boozy state of mind. "After Luna, I was drinking too much. I wasn't eating as much because I was full from drinking. I wasn't being good to my body. I remember being so bruised from nothing," she says in the new mag. She added that the unrealistic ways some stars portray themselves on social media doesn't help when a woman — any woman — is trying to get to a healthy physical and mental place. "I know they're Facetiming, Photoshopping –- and even I'm getting down on myself! Imagine the girl who's out there scrolling and feeling like she isn't good enough," says the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model. She went on to say she's now taking anti-depressants and she recently indulged in a trip to Bali to find some inner peace. "It's like, what could be more important than mental health?" she asks. "What's more important than being proud of yourself and doing the best you can for your body?"
Nas posts social media rant in response to Kelis' abuse claims
Nas posted a long Instagram post this week in response to his ex-wife, Kelis' claims she was mentally and physically abused during their marriage. According to Nas, he discovered Kelis was speaking to Essence magazine about her version of the story, which he says was driven by their custody negotiations (via E! News). He goes on to say it was Kelis who was "jealous & verbally abusive" of his daughter," then says he once thought was "beautiful," adding that they met when he was dealing with the death of his mother. "You was a friend. Because of that i wanted to marry you. And i did. And we had a big lavish wedding. Overall there was too many good times. I have to say i wasn't the most faithful husband. I was immature. I'm sorry about that. But you bumped your own head sis," he continues. He goes on to say Kelis went after him physically when he came to pick up their son from her house and claims their son saw the dustup. "Even our son wonders why you treat me the way you do," he says. "Back then you asked me why didn't i stop the divorce from happening. I tried! We are too different. Some things aren't meant to be. We were meant to be so that we could have our son. Nothing more. You didn't like that. I prayed for your peace of mind for years because of your uneasy soul. I still do. I guess some things take time. You definitely don't know me now and probably never knew me. You make up this image of me that's not true but it's funny because it's really you describing yourself. You made up stories about me and claimed i did things that YOU DID," Nas writes. He goes on to say she harmed his career and told their son "bad things" about him. He also accuses her of "competing" with him professionally and says he's paid for her house to be renovated among other costs. "This is MY TRUTH," he adds. "And I don't care what else she has left to say unless it concerns our son. This is the first and last time I'm addressing this. Despite all of this I still hope for the best for her because whats best for her is what's best for knight."
Blink-182 cancels tour due to Travis Barker's 'medical issues
Travis Barker is still dealing with the effects of the blood clots found in his arms earlier this year, forcing Blink-182 to cancel its planned tour this fall. In a statement on Facebook (via E! News), the band said their string of shows had been "sidelined" because of their drummer's "medical issues." "Trav's medical team anticipated that he would be well enough by fall to tour, but after recent checkups, they were not able to clear him in time for the scheduled run of dates," the statement read. In a statement from Travis, he explained: "The past few months have just sucked as I have been sidelined just waiting for my doctors to clear me so I could get back on the road and perform with my band. Unfortunately, the risks associated with drumming are still too great. I am doing everything I need to do so I can get back on the road as soon as possible. I want to thank my fans, family, friends and bandmates for all the love and support." Though one of the dates they canceled was Riot Fest, the band said they expected to headline the festival in 2019.
Selena Gomez gets emotional discussing her work to end human trafficking
In March through her partnership with Coach, Selena Gomez started working with A21, a non-profit devoted to ending human trafficking and abolishing slavery forever. She recently opened up to E! News about why the cause matters so much to her and what inspired her recent trip to Europe to meet with victims of the $150 billion trafficking industry. She said that while there's nothing wrong with celebs giving money to fight slavery and human trafficking, she wanted something she could contribute her time to, instead. She also admitted that she feels "a little selfish" about it because she genuinely loves being involved in the cause, which she finds people have trouble talking about. "I take it extremely serious [sic] and my friends are heavily involved with me because it's not something happening a million miles away. It's actually happening here," she said. As for the victims she met recently, the singer, who teared up discussing her trip, explained, "I want them to be seen, you know, so I want to be able to communicate that to them that they are beautiful and I will do everything I can to get their story out." She added that she's working on new music inspired by the experiences she's had with A21. "I've wanted to take my time and be intentional with it. I am very proud of it. I think it's gonna be exciting."
