Ana de Armas may have just moved in with Ben Affleck
Looks like Ana de Armas and Ben Affleck may finally be sharing an address. For the past few days, multiple outlets have reported seeing Ana, 32, moving her things from her Venice, California, pad into her boyfriend's home in the Pacific Palisades section of Los Angeles. Photos published by Backgrid seemed to show Ana's pooch was in on the move, as well. "She had a huge grin and seemed very excited about living with Affleck," a source told People of the "Knives Out" star. A friend of the pair told the outlet the two, "really care for each other and they have a good thing going," adding that Ana is sensitive to Ben's desire to be near the three children he shares with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. "She's aware that his family comes first. And appreciates that. They work very hard at that balance," the friend explained. Romance rumors hit Ana and Ben, 38, in March, when they visited Cuba together after meeting on the set of "Deep Water" in New Orleans. Since then, Ana's reportedly gone the extra mile to get to know Ben's kids, who she is said to get along well with. The actress also joined her beau and his kids in Georgia for a vacation where she spent time with Ben's mom, too. Though the couple's love has certainly taken off during the pandemic, which kept Ben in California for most of the spring and summer, CinemaBlend points out that he has a busy workload ahead of him — and could be heading to Canada in the near future. Citing a CNBC report, CinemaBlend said on Monday, Aug. 24, that the star's upcoming Robert Rodriguez film, "Hypnotic," will likely resume production in Vancouver, Canada in October. After that, he's due to wrap up "The Last Duel," direct "Ghost Army" and appear in "The Witness for the Prosecution." There's also likely to be promo work ahead for his "Death on the Nile" performance. Maybe the happy couple can reunite for post-production on "Deep Water" …

He added that he hoped to, "enjoy being married for a little bit, go on tour, be married, enjoy traveling with just us, build more of our relationship," before adding children to the mix. The actress, 33, was attacked on social media beginning in early June by former co-stars who criticized the "traumatic microaggressions" she'd allegedly subjected them to on the set of "Glee." (Among the many (many) harsh stories that emerged were tales of an actor Lea allegedly told had no right to join the cast at a table and an actress who'd been hired to play Lea's "Glee" character at a premiere party whom the star supposedly called "ugly.) She later apologized after the headline-making backlash.

The ACLU offers to help Britney Spears with her conservatorship
Even the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is concerned Britney Spears' 12 year-old conservatorship could be infringing on her rights. "People with disabilities have a right to lead self-directed lives and retain their civil rights," the civil rights advocacy group tweeted last week as #FreeBirtney protesters surrounded the courthouse where the singer's latest hearing was being held. "If Britney Spears wants to regain her civil liberties and get out of her conservatorship, we are here to help her," the ACLU added. Britney's lawyers had asked a judge to remove the singer's father from control of her conservatorship. But a judge ruled at the Aug. 19 hearing that she wouldn't decide on Jamie Spears' involvement or lack thereof until at least February. Until then, the arrangement will remain in place, as-is.
