On March 13, the A-list actor even joined his new girlfriend as she went house hunting in the Los Angeles area. In late March — once PDA-packed sightings of the "Deep Water" co-stars had become commonplace — Us Weekly reported that the actress is "very happy" with her new beau. "She loves spending time with him and they have great chemistry and a lot of fun together," said a source. Earlier in the month, another Us Weekly source confirmed that the pair are "officially dating" and said that Ben's ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, is "supportive of him and happy for him and his relationship." On March 25, Us Weekly broke the news that Demi Lovato and former "The Young and the Restless" star Max Ehrich are an item. The duo were snapped grocery shopping together twice in mid-March amid the coronavirus pandemic. Then on March 28, the singer-actress accidentally crashed her new beau's Instagram Live: She could be seen adorably bringing him a blanket as he played a few notes at the piano before frantically mouthing to her, "I'm on Live." She then laughed, covered her face with the blanket and ducked off-screen.
Season 24 of "The Bachelor" came to an end on March 10 with Peter Weber popping the question to Hannah Ann Sluss in Australia right before the holidays … after Madison Prewett walked away from the competition over her realization that her devoutly Christian lifestyle is just too different from the pilot's. Hannah Ann happily accepted Peter's proposal but called things off with him a couple months later (in January) when she realized he couldn't fully commit to her emotionally because he still had feelings for Madison. (She later described herself as "very blindsided" by the breakup.) In February — after Hannah Ann dumped him — Peter reunited with Madi. On the live portion of the March 10 finale — their first time seeing each other since their brief reunion — they presented a united front and said that they intended to continue dating and working on their relationship. But then just two days later, he announced on Instagram that they "mutually decided to not pursue our relationship any further." Then on March 13, Peter finally made it clear that he and "The Bachelor" producer Julie LaPlaca — to whom he was linked in February — were never an item. But that wasn't the end of Pilot Pete… On March 24, he was snapped getting flirty with Kelley Flanagan — who made it into the final five while competing for his heart on "The Bachelor" — in Chicago. Earlier in the month, another former star of "The Bachelor," Nick Viall, sparked rumors that he and Kelley were an item when he took to Instagram to share a photo of them together. On the March 18 episode of his "The Viall Files" podcast, he admitted there's nothing going on between them. Meanwhile, during a joint March 22 Instagram Live, former "The Bachelor" co-stars Mike Johnson and Connor Saeli — who both competed for Hannah Brown's heart on season 15 of "The Bachelorette" — sparked rumors that there's something romantic going on between Connor and Madison following her split from Peter. According to an E! News source, however, Connor simply slid into Madison's DMs "sending her words of support" after she and Peter parted ways. "It was purely platonic," said the insider, adding that "no further conversations happened after" that. (Madi later confirmed that report on Instagram Live, saying that she and Connor "are not together" and that she's "not with anyone right now."
Hannah Brown and Tyler Cameron spent March fueling rumors that they'd reconnected romantically after previously dating on season 15 of "The Bachelorette" in 2019. After the male model's mother died suddenly in late February, the former pageant queen became a fixture at his side. On March 18, however, Life & Style reported that, according to Hannah's father, she and Tyler are just friends. Meanwhile, an Us Weekly source acknowledged that the duo are "great friends" who "have a lot of fun together" but teased that their relationship status is subject to change: "Guys and girls can be friends without it being romantic," said the insider. "Could something happen down the line? Sure."
Brad Pitt got tongues wagging after he was caught on camera watching a March 7 Thundercat concert in Los Angeles while seated next to a beautiful "mystery woman" … who was later identified as his longtime pal Alia Shawkat. TMZ published video of the duo, who also sparked romance rumors late last year, looking comfortable together while taking in the show but later reported that they're "not dating" and that their relationship is "not romantic" but "strictly platonic."
It's time for another round of conflicting reports about the nature of Kylie Jenner's relationship with Travis Scott! On March 8, "Entertainment Tonight" reported that, according to a source, they were officially back together and had been "for about a month." The alleged insider said that the pair "took a break last year because they both had so much going on" and "couldn't fully focus on what it took to make the relationship work" but that now, "they're better able to handle it." TMZ, however, painted a slightly different picture of the relationship. After initially reporting on March 8 that the makeup mogul and the rapper were "officially a thing again" and had been "for several weeks now," the webloid backpedaled, reporting that the duo are "simply co-parenting" their daughter, Stormi Webster, and "support each other as friends" but are "not currently linked romantically." Then during a March 24 Instagram Live, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's oldest child, son Mason, said that his billionaire aunt and her former beau "are not back together."
In late March, Halsey sparked rumors that she split from Evan Peters and got back together with her ex, Yungblud, after she deleted all but one photo of the "American Horror Story" star (a Valentine's Day tribute) from her Instagram. Further complicating the matter, the "Without Me" chart-topper took to her Instagram Story on March 22 to share a photo of her "first crack at making a Sunday dinner" — a traditional English Sunday roast including a Yorkshire pudding. She added a hashtag reading "Yorkshire Certified." Just minutes later, Yungblud — who was born in Yorkshire, England — shared the food snap on his own Instagram Story, adding the words "can confirm," along with the checkmark emoji and a heart emoji. His post seemed to imply that he sampled the meal himself. Halsey and Evan were first linked in the summer of 2019 — around the time she and Yungblud called it quits.
On March 22, Nina Dobrev and Olympic snowboarder Shaun White were caught on camera going for a bike ride in Malibu. According to Page Six, which published the pics, the pair were seen kissing before they started cycling, and "it seemed to look like more than a friendly kiss." They were also seen together back in January. An E! News source said that the duo "have been spending a lot of time together recently" but noted that "their relationship doesn't have an official title right now."
In March, several celebs made the difficult decision to adjust their wedding plans amid the coronavirus pandemic. Emma Stone and her fiancé, Dave McCary, were planning to tie the knot in Los Angeles in late March but postponed their nuptials just days before they were set to say "I do." … People magazine reported on March 11 that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, who planned to tie the knot in Japan in June, postponed their wedding plans (again) even though the pop star was really excited about walking down the aisle pregnant. They'll now reportedly wait to wed until after their baby arrives. … During an interview with "Extra" that popped up online on March 24, Dennis Quaid revealed that he and his fiancée, Laura Savoie, planned to tie the knot in a "nice and small" ceremony at Craig T. Nelson's home in Kauai on April 4 but are now considering doing "something closer to home" at a later date. … Multiple media outlets reported on March 18 that Princess Beatrice and her fiancé, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, are considering postponing or downscaling their May 29 nuptials — The Sun even reported that they're planning to push the wedding to 2021. … On March 18, Lala Kent released a statement announcing that she and her fiancé, Randall Emmett, are now planning to tie the knot in July. They originally intended to exchange vows in Newport Beach, California, on April 18. Meanwhile, her "Vanderpump Rules" co-star Stassi Schroeder — who's been planning to marry her fiancé, Beau Clark, in Rome, Italy, in October — sarcastically tweeted on March 26, "So planning a wedding that may be nonexistent is fun." … During a March 24 Instagram Live, JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers said that they're "just going to wait until the last minute" to determine whether or not they need to reschedule their July nuptials. Because their venue is booked through the end of the year, if they're forced to move their wedding date, they won't be able to say "I do" until 2021. … The Daily Mail reported on March 20 that Duchess Kate's brother, James Middleton, has abandoned his plans to marry his fiancée, Alizee Thevenet, over the summer. … The Sun reported that Oasis singer Liam Gallagher is reevaluating his plans to marry Debbie Gwyther in July on Italy's Amalfi Coast. … And former "Basketball Wives" personality Gloria Govan told People magazine that she and Los Angeles Lakers star Derek Fisher are no longer planning to wed in April.
Tiffany Haddish again sparked speculation that she and Common are an item when she took to Instagram on March 13 to share a photo of herself and the rapper-actor celebrating his birthday with a paint-and-pour class. "Happy Birthday to My Friend @common!!!" she wrote in the caption. Interestingly, although the actress made a point of calling Common her pal, Tina Lawson commented, "Beautiful couple." Then on the March 20 episode of "The Real," Tiffany maintained that it's all platonic between them. "That's my friend," she said. "He been my friend for a while. But if he wants to date me, I will date him." She then quickly changed the subject by asking co-host Jeannie Mai, who's dating Jeezy, for tips on how to "date a rapper."
In early March, Amanda Bynes stoked speculation that she and her fiancé, Paul Michael, had called it quits when she suddenly scrubbed all traces of him from her Instagram. On March 8, InTouch reported that the duo had, in fact, broken up — and that Paul confirmed the news himself, saying that in spite of the split, he still loves Amanda, whom he reportedly called his "best friend." Later that day, Us Weekly reported that, according to a source, Paul broke up with the former child star when he "realized the relationship just couldn't go forward because of the obstacles of [her] conservatorship." (When they first announced their engagement, there were reports that it was unlikely they'd ever actually tie the knot because Amanda's mother, who serves as her conservator, wouldn't consent to the marriage because she doesn't think it's in her daughter's best interest.) Then on March 9, The Blast shed some light on why exactly Paul allegedly broke things off with Amanda: He reportedly had a change of heart after joining the Bynes family in court on March 5 to deal with matters concerning the former actress's conservatorship. According to the webloid, he "freaked out" when he realized how unwell Amanda is and that her current state could be a threat to his own sobriety. (A judge reportedly ordered the former actress to enter a psychiatric facility to undergo mental health treatment.) According to The Blast, Paul doesn't want "to do anything that would get him in trouble with the judge or others in this case" and is telling friends "he doesn't want to be blamed for her current mental health being in such bad shape — or for it getting worse over time." He also reportedly realized that Amanda wasn't being completely honest with him about "many of the details of her life." But then the plot thickened on March 10 — a day after Amanda posted a new selfie with Paul on Instagram, which she captioned, "my love." He told Page Six that they "never broke up" and that a hacker deleted the photos of them together and "sent DMs saying we broke up" to "make it seem like we broke up." He also revealed that he and the former "She's the Man" star have been together for six months — not three months, as previously reported. Then on March 17, they announced that they're expecting a child together.
Wait, what? During a joint March 18 Instagram Live, Lily Allen and David Harbour sparked rumors that they'd secretly tied the knot. After telling a fan that she only sold 5,000 copies of her last album, the "Smile" singer told her beau, "You think you married a pop star? You didn't." She then attempted to backpedal, telling fans, "Not that we're married. We're not married. I just want to make sure you know." The "Stranger Things" star created more confusion by chiming in, "But she is my wife." Responded Lily, "Yes, we do pretend." The duo first sparked romance rumors in August 2019.
On March 17, Elisabeth Röhm's publicist released a statement to Us Weekly announcing that the former "Law & Order" star and her fiancé of a little more than a year, Judge Jonathan T. Colby, recently called it quits. "[They] are on good terms and remaining friends but they were living different lives and have different priorities at this time. Sadly they've decided not to get married," said the rep.
Brittany Snow and Tyler Stanaland tied the knot at Cielo Farms in Malibu on March 14. According to People magazine — which published an exclusive wedding photo — the bride donned a Jonathan Simkhai gown during her intimate outdoor nuptials.
Noah Centineo and Alexis Ren sparked split rumors in late March when fans noticed that they'd mysteriously unfollowed each other on Instagram. The purported breakup comes as a surprise considering earlier this month, a Page Six spy spotted the duo, who'd reportedly been seeing each other since May 2019, acting "touchy-feely and cozy" with each other during a night out in New York City.
Anna Camp took to Instagram on March 23 to debut her new boyfriend: former New Beat Fund drummer Michael Johnson. "In the middle of nowhere with no one I'd rather be with," she captioned a photo of them together in Joshua Tree, California. He's the first person she's dated publicly since she filed to divorce former "Pitch Perfect" co-star Skylar Astin last year.
NeNe Leakes spent most of March stoking speculation that she and her husband, Gregg Leakes, are in an open marriage. First, on the extremely revealing and wide-ranging March 9 episode of Angela Yee's sex-themed "Lip Service" podcast, the reality star said it's OK if her hubby cheats on her as long as she doesn't find out about it — and that even if she did find out about it, she wouldn't leave him. She then detailed an incident last summer when she caught Gregg carrying on an inappropriate relationship (via FaceTime and text) with a woman they hired to manage their clothing boutique in Maryland. On March 10, Page Six reported that it's actually NeNe who's been carrying on an inappropriate relationship with someone in Maryland: a man named Rodney who works for the federal government whom she started seeing in May 2019 while launching the boutique. According to the New York Post's gossip column, the reality star told her employees that she and her husband are "actually separated." Meanwhile, a Page Six source described NeNe's relationship with Gregg as "a business relationship" and claimed that his infidelity gave her "something to talk about" for her storyline on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta." Then on an episode of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 12 After Show" that hit the Internet on March 16, she said that she and Gregg "have an understanding" and are "never gonna be apart" — even if they "may not be together." When a producer pressed her to say more about their "understanding," she said that if they did have an open relationship, she'd never publicly admit it. She also said that she's in love with her husband … but wouldn't tell anyone if she wasn't in love with him.
On the March 9 episode of Danny Pellegrino's "Everything Iconic" podcast, Brandi Glanville dished on some of the famous men she's romanced over the years, including former "Friends" co-stars David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc. (She went on one date with Matt and then dated David for "a few months," she said.) She also "made out with one of the men in 'The Notebook,'" though she refused to specify if she was talking about James Marsden or Ryan Gosling … or one of their other co-stars. But that's not where Brandi's hit list ends: She and Ashley Hamilton dated when she first arrived in Los Angeles, and she dated Ben Stiller "for a little while," she said. She also addressed her headline-making hookup with Gerard Butler: "I was on 'Housewives,' but he did not know that and it really bothered him that I didn't tell him," she recalled.
On March 2, ABC announced that Clare Crawley will look for love on the upcoming 16th season of "The Bachelorette." The hairstylist previously romanced Juan Pablo Galavis on season 18 of "The Bachelor" in 2014 and then appeared on the first two seasons of "Bachelor in Paradise" before competing on 2018's "The Bachelor Winter Games," which ended with her accepting a proposal from Benoit Beausejour-Savard. (They called it quits less than two months after the finale aired.) In other Bachelor Nation love news… During an interview with People magazine that hit the Internet on March 25, Colton Underwood admitted that he and his girlfriend, Cassie Randolph, briefly split in August 2019. (Last year, they vehemently denied rumors that there was trouble in paradise.) … Chris Randone created confusion about the status of his relationship with Krystal Nielson, from whom he separated earlier this year, when he tweeted while watching the finale of season 24 of "The Bachelor" on March 9, "On a side note…I miss my wife." Two days later, when a fan asked if he and Krystal are, like, "over over," the Bachelor Nation star replied, "no lol, not even close." … On March 8 — less than a week after he publicly accused her of working as an escort and she publicly questioned his mental health — "Bad" Chad Johnson and Annalise Mishler told TMZ (while holding hands) that they're "working through things," though they both insisted they haven't officially reconciled following their late-February breakup. He also made it clear that the accusations he made against her were incorrect: "I accused her of escorting, but I was wrong," he said. … And in early March, Jasmine Nguyen and Alexa Caves — who competed for Peter Weber's heart on season 24 of "The Bachelor" — accidentally sparked romance rumors when Jasmine took to Instagram to share some cozy-looking photos from Alexa's birthday celebration. "Spoiler: we did find love after all🌹," Jasmine originally captioned the pics. Two days later — after receiving a ton of questions about the nature of their relationship — Alexa, who identifies as sexually fluid, took to her Instagram Story to set the record straight: They're "not dating" and are just "best friends."
The Daily Mail reported on March 6 that Anya Taylor-Joy is dating photographer Ben "Pip" Seed, who was recently caught on camera pecking her on the cheek.
On March 13, Page Six broke the news that Taika Waititi quietly separated from his wife, filmmaker Chelsea Winstanley, two years ago. The New York Post's gossip column added that the "Jojo Rabbot" actor-director is now in a relationship with Polly Stoker, who served as his assistant when he made 2016's "Hunt for the Wilderpeople" and 2017's "Thor: Ragnarok."
Angelica Ross got some unfortunate news after she debuted her new boyfriend on Twitter on March 18: He has a secret son … and a fiancée! After the "Pose" star shared a sweet shot of him pecking her on the cheek, her fans did some sleuthing and discovered the truth. According to TMZ, Grace Gummer filed to divorce Tay Strathairn in Los Angeles on March 23. It's unclear when exactly the "Mr. Robot" actress secretly married the former Dawes keyboardist, to whom she was first linked in October 2017. The duo go way back: They reportedly met in 1993 when she was 7 and he was 13 on the set of "The River Wild," in which her mother, Meryl Streep, and his father, David Strathairn, starred.
On March 18, Us Weekly broke the news that Morgan Stewart and Jordan McGraw had been dating for a few months. The former "Rich Kids of Beverly Hills" star later confirmed her romance with Dr. Phil McGraw's son and revealed that they first dated for a year a decade ago … until he broke up with her.
The March 19 episode of "Very Cavallari" depicted colorist Justin Anderson's proposal to his boyfriend of more than five years, "Scream Queens" actor Austin Rhodes, at their home in Nashville. It's unclear when exactly the question-popping took place, though the bulk of the third season of the E! reality show was shot in late 2019.
Judge Faith Jenkins married musician Kenny Lattimore at the First Congregational Church in downtown Los Angeles on March 8 in a ceremony officiated by DeVon Franklin. According to Us Weekly, which published exclusive wedding photos, their 275 guests included MC Lyte, Sheryl Lee Ralph, James Pickens Jr., Malcolm Gladwell and Stevie Wonder, who sang "You and I" as the bride walked down the aisle.
Us Weekly reported on March 10 that "Bringing Up Bates" star Katie Bates is officially courting Travis Clark after striking up a long-distance relationship nine months ago.
