Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the stars who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in October 2019, starting with Miley Cyrus and her new romance… On Oct. 3 — just two weeks after she and Kaitlynn Carter called it quits and not even two months after she and Liam Hemsworth announced that they were ending their marriage — Miley was seen making out with longtime pal Cody Simpson at a restaurant in Los Angeles. The following day, she confirmed the romance on her Instagram Story, and a few days after that, she called the Australian singer-songwriter her "bf." Since then, the pair haven't been shy about packing on the PDA on their respective social media accounts. They've also become constant fixtures at each other's sides. Cody has even openly addressed their relationship several times in various interviews. On Oct. 20, Miley made headlines when she said that Cody is the only "good" man she's ever met and that she "thought all guys were evil" until they connected. Two days later, Cody took a swipe at his girlfriend's former loves in a radio interview, alleging that part of the reason why he and the singer-actress are so close is that he's "very, very, very romantic" and she "hadn't had that kind of an experience in a relationship before." Meanwhile, on Oct. 21, Lindsay Lohan reminded the world that her sister, Ali Lohan, briefly romanced Cody Simpson last year — and hinted that their split was messy — after the singer-songwriter won the first season of the Australian version of "The Masked Singer," on which the former "Mean Girls" star served as a judge. After Cody was unveiled as the robot, Lindsay took to Instagram to throw some major shade at her sister's ex and his new girlfriend, Miley Cyrus. (Oddly, she also alleged that while Cody and Ali were an item, she bought him furniture for his beach house in Los Angeles — a claim he later denied.) A few days later, Lindsay claimed that her shady comments were just "an inside joke."

TMZ reported on Oct. 1 that Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott called it quits "several weeks ago" after struggling "to make the relationship work for a while." In the wake of the breakup news, multiple media outlets have reported that sources close to the couple believe they'll eventually reconcile. TMZ reported on Oct. 18 that following the split, Travis has even been living part-time with Kylie and "maintaining a friendship" with her as they head into the holidays, which they intend to celebrate as a family with their toddler daughter, Stormi Webster. Earlier in the month, the rapper denied reports that he had a years-long affair with Instagram personality Rojean Kar. Kylie, meanwhile, shot down rumors that she and ex-boyfriend Tyga were dating again after they were seen in the same place at the same time twice within a week.

More than three years after splitting from actress wife Anne-Marie Duff, James McAvoy has quietly married Lisa Liberati, the Mail On Sunday reported on Oct. 26. Lisa — whom James met on the Philadelphia set of "Split" when he was starring and she was working as a production assistant for director M. Night Shyamalan — has been seen wearing a ring. A director friend of the Scottish actor was also overheard saying James has been calling Lisa his "wife" and believed they'd wed "recently," MailOnline reported.
Lady Gaga revealed that her romance of a few months with Dan Horton had come to an end when she described herself as "a single lady" in an Oct. 18 post on her Instagram Story. On Oct. 23, Us Weekly reported that, according to a source, the singer-actress gave the audio engineer the boot because he "was not mature enough for her."
Jenni "JWoww" Farley and her boyfriend, Zack Clayton Carpinello, briefly split after the Oct. 10 episode of "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" aired. The episode saw Zack grilling Angelina Pivarnick about her sex life and then getting handsy with her during a night out in Las Vegas with the housemates. Jenni took to Instagram to express how disrespected and hurt she felt after watching the episode, while Zack took to the same platform to issue a public apology to the reality star. Within days, however, it was clear that they'd reconciled.
Us Weekly reported on Oct. 17 that, according to a source, Pete Davidson and Margaret Qualley, who were first linked in August, recently called it quits but "remain friends." On Oct. 23, the "Saturday Night Live" star and model Kaia Gerber sparked romance rumors when they were seen dining together in New York City, though some media outlets have reported that the pair are just friends.
Teresa Giudice made headlines on Oct. 15 when a preview for the upcoming 10th season of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" hit the Internet. The trailer heavily implied that the reality star had an affair while her husband, Joe Giudice, served time behind bars on fraud charges. After the preview dropped, Teresa's lawyer released a statement explaining that her comments in the preview were taken out of context. An Us Weekly source said that Teresa was, in fact, "very hurt" by how the trailer was edited because it comes "at a time when she is trying to keep her family together and work on her marriage." Earlier this year, she denied reports that she had an affair with a younger man. Meanwhile, Radar Online reported that, according to a source, Joe "is so mad at Teresa for cheating while he was locked up and left to rot in prison" and now "wants a divorce." On Oct. 27, Bravo aired "The Real Housewives of New Jersey Special Event: Joe and Teresa Unlocked." Both told host Andy Cohen that they believe the other had been unfaithful during their long marriage, and neither seemed eager to fight to stay together. "We're both two different people now," said Teresa, who will be visiting Joe in Italy with their four daughters in November. "I'm not the same Teresa I was and he's not the same Joe. I do love him as a person. I don't know how I'm going to feel when I see him." Said Joe: "If we stay together, we stay together. If we don't, we don't."
Page Six reported on Oct. 23 that Ben Affleck is dating again following his late-2018 divorce from Jennifer Garner and his second split from Lindsay Shookus in April 2019. According to the New York Post's gossip column, the A-list actor had been using Raya, an uber-exclusive dating app for the rich and famous, to find "a real partner" now that he's "in a good space" and "ready to be in love again" — though he's reportedly off the app for now. On Oct. 26, the father of three took to Twitter to confirm the report while also encouraging his followers to donate to The Midnight Mission. "HA, you got me. I'm dating," he tweeted.
According to Us Weekly, Jim Edmonds filed to divorce Meghan King Edmonds on Oct. 25 — a day after their fifth wedding anniversary — following a major argument that got so heated, she called the police. (Authorities determined that the argument was purely verbal and no charges were filed.) The altercation reportedly took off after the former star of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" questioned her husband about who accompanied him to a recent hockey game and then accused him of having an affair with one of their children's nannies. Both Jim and the nanny have denied the allegation. Earlier this year, Meghan and Jim weathered a cheating scandal after she caught him sending inappropriate texts to a woman known as the "baseball madam."
On Oct. 15, The Blast reported that Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum, who've yet to finalize their divorce, agreed to become legally single as they continue ironing out a division of assets and a custody agreement for their daughter, Everly. The following week, the actress-dancer's new book, "Gracefully You: Finding Beauty and Balance in the Everyday," hit bookshelves. In the memoir, Jenna describes their early-2018 split after nearly a decade of marriage as a "dark and difficult time." She also writes about feeling "blindsided" when she found out that the actor had moved on with Jessie J following their split. As for Jessie, she's become increasingly comfortable letting the world in on her romance with the "Magic Mike" star: On Oct. 21, she posted several photos of herself and Channing on her Instagram Story.
Duchess Kate's brother, James Middleton, took to Instagram on Oct. 6 to announce that he and Alizee Thevenet are engaged. Less than two weeks later, he and the French financial analyst made their red carpet debut at the Oct. 17 premiere of "The Elephant Queen" in London.
In early September, Jen Harley took to her Instagram Story to publicly accuse off-and-on love Ronnie Ortiz-Magro of cheating on her, indicating that they'd called it quits (again). Then on Oct. 3, the notoriously volatile pair were photographed holding hands during a daytime outing in Beverly Hills. Later that evening, the mother of two accompanied the "Jersey Shore" star to a launch party for his new line of CBD-infused products. At the event, during which the duo packed on the PDA for all to see, Ronnie told Us Weekly of his relationship with Jen, "Honestly, even though everyone thinks we're toxic, she really does balance me out." But just hours after his chat with Us Weekly, Ronnie and Jen were involved in a physical altercation that ended with the reality star's arrest for alleged domestic violence. Following the incident, the police issued an emergency protective order barring Ronnie from going within 100 yards of Jen until Oct. 11. What happens next between them is anyone's guess, but on Oct. 10, TMZ reported that the two have both independently decided that they're done for good this time.
On the Oct. 6 episode of their "Whine Down" podcast, Jana Kramer and Mike Caussin revealed that they recently hit a speed bump in their relationship when she found a topless photo of another woman on his Apple Watch. (The duo previously weathered a cheating scandal stemming from the former professional football player's issues with sex addiction.) Ultimately, the singer-actress determined that a bot account texted the photo to her husband, but that didn't stop her from feeling betrayed by how he handled the situation: He deleted the photo from his phone and kept the situation to himself rather than telling her what happened. They spent the rest of the month publicly hashing out her trust issues.
Meanwhile, on the Oct. 27 episode of TV One's "Uncensored," Lamar Odom revealed that he left former love Taraji P. Henson for Khloe Kardashian. "Things ended with Taraji because of me being an immature punk. I didn't know how to tell her that I was falling in love with another woman named Khloe Kardashian," he said. Lamar married the reality star in 2009 — the same year he accompanied the Oscar-nominated actress to the Golden Globe Awards.
On the Oct. 14 episode of "Strahan, Sara & Keke," Bachelor Nation's Mike Johnson said he "made a mistake" by being so open about his brief fling with Demi Lovato. He then attempted to shoot his shot with co-host Keke Palmer, who was not impressed — she reacted by covering her face and prompting her co-hosts to move on to the next question. Two days later, she said that she gets "real spooked" when it comes to dating entertainers. "It really scares me to date people in the industry," she said, adding that she also "felt ambushed" and "like it was a big ol' gag" because Mike asked her out in front of everyone. For his part, Mike implied on Twitter that he wasn't serious about asking out the former child star. "I deflected a question posed to me on my dating life – made a playful comment," he wrote. As for Demi, the reality star said during an Oct. 14 interview with Us Weekly that he's "definitely" on good terms with the singer-actress, though he declined to elaborate on whether or not they're still seeing each other, saying that he would "never" kiss and tell (though he technically already did) and that he plans to keep his love life "100 percent" to himself moving forward. The implication? Demi was not a fan of how openly he discussed their relationship.
People magazine reported on Oct. 18 that, according to a source, Jim Carrey and "Kidding" co-star Ginger Gonzaga, who debuted their romance in January, "broke up months ago."
Us Weekly reported on Oct. 3 that, according to a source, Kenya Moore's estranged husband, Marc Daly, had "multiple affairs" during their marriage. In mid-September, the duo released separate statements announcing that they're calling it quits after two years of marriage and a daughter together.
TMZ reported on Oct. 15 that Bachelor Nation's Amanda Stanton and former "Rich Kids of Beverly Hills" star Brendan Fitzpatrick started seeing each other about a month ago after meeting through mutual friends.
Diddy and Lori Harvey sparked rumors that they'd called time on their headline-making romance when they mysteriously unfollowed each other on Instagram in mid-October. Further fueling the breakup rumors, the music mogul was seen dining with a mystery blonde at Nobu in Los Angeles on Oct. 11. The following week, Lori and alleged former fling Future sparked rumors that they're dating again when they took to their Instagram Stories to share photos of what appeared to be the same location in Malibu. The duo were previously linked in late 2018.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton — who've been together for a decade, share two children and were rumored to have wed in 2014 — officially tied the knot on Oct. 5.
Us Weekly reported on Oct. 11 that Ariel Winter and Levi Meaden called it quits after nearly three years of coupledom. Breakup rumors kicked off after the "Modern Family" actress was seen dining with another man in the Los Angeles area on Oct. 8.
Winnie Harlow and Maluma, who were seen together several times this month, sparked romance rumors in late October with their flirty behavior on social media. Both the model and the singer are recently single: In mid-October, she confirmed that she and Wiz Khalifa, who were first linked in mid-2018, are no longer an item after he was caught on camera cozying up to Instagram model Aimee Aguilar. (It's unclear when Wiz and Winnie called it quits.) Then on Oct. 25, model Natalia Barulich told Page Six that she and Maluma recently called it quits after two years of coupledom. "Shameless" star Jeremy Allen White and actress Addison Timlin, who welcomed a daughter in October 2018, tied the knot in front of pals Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin at the Beverly Hills Courthouse on Oct. 18.
