Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the celebrities who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in early June 2018, starting with one of our favorite A-list actors: In spite of reports from earlier this year that Brad Pitt and MIT professor Neri Oxman are "very much a couple," Page Six reported on June 13 that the impressive architect-artist is still in a relationship with Bill Ackman, a billionaire activist investor to whom she was first linked in late 2017. In early June, she reportedly traveled to Paris to watch her beau compete in the Finance Cup, a tennis tournament for former aces who now work full-time in finance. Writes Page Six, "We hear alluring Oxman sat courtside cheering on her boyfriend, and that the pair seemed very much in love. The two were openly affectionate and later attended a party for the tournament as a couple." Joked a Page Six source, "Bill won his match, and has won the girl. Brad Pitt will need to up his tennis game — and his educational degrees — if he wants such a super-impressive, and highly intellectual woman." Now keep reading for more of the week's biggest celeb love life updates…

According to a June 13 story on DailyMail.com, Life & Style magazine is reporting that Charlize Theron and Alexander Skarsgard, who casually dated back in 2012, have reconnected on the set of their upcoming political comedy "Flarsky." The duo are reportedly trying to keep things "private" but have been seen "flirting" on set. "They're keeping it as private as they can, but it's hard to hide," a source told the tabloid, adding that the duo "are both thrilled that this romance is back on." Continued the insider, who claims that the Swedish actor has met the Oscar winner's two children, "The first time they laid eyes on each other all those years ago, there was an attraction. … They've stayed in touch since the first go-round. … Charlize is a woman who knows what she wants and just goes for it. … She did it with Alexander back then, and now she's done it again." The source also dished on what makes the pair work: "They're both straight shooters," said the alleged insider. "Charlize cusses and has a wicked sense of humor, which he loves. Alexander is a serious guy, a deep thinker, and she loves that. He's well-read, loves the classics and is a movie buff just like her."

On June 11, just weeks after they were first linked, multiple media outlets reported that Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson were engaged. Though it's unclear when exactly the "Saturday Night Live" star got down on one knee, he reportedly popped the question with a custom VVS1 clarity diamond set in platinum worth $93,000 that took two weeks to craft. According to an Us Weekly source, the duo "were telling people that they're engaged" at Robert Pattinson's birthday party in Los Angeles on June 9. "They are a perfect fit. They are not rushing to get married," said a second source, adding that the couple's moms have met and that their friends "are really excited and supportive." Said a third insider, "They are looking forward to a very long engagement together."

Meanwhile, multiple media outlets reported on June 13 that back in mid-May, Pete Davidson quietly had a tattoo of a doodle of ex-girlfriend Cazzie David on his forearm removed. On May 17, tattoo artist Jon Mesa shared a side-by-side of before and after shots showing off the cover-up. The "Saturday Night Live" star replaced his Cazzie tat (as well as a few other small tattoos) with a scene of trees. On June 11, another of Pete's ex-girlfriends, stand-up comedian Carly Aquilino (right), made headlines when she took to her Instagram Story to subtly shade his engagement to Ariana Grande. Carly shared a screengrab of a text conversation with a pal that read, "I know I'm the 9 billionth person to text you today about this, but… I can't." The funny-woman captioned the image, "My day in a text message."
Josh Duhamel and Eiza Gonzalez, who were first linked in February, were finally caught on camera during a dinner date in Beverly Hills on June 8. The duo reportedly walked with their arms wrapped around each other until they spotted the paparazzi spying on them and quickly separated. "They've been quietly dating for months," a source told People magazine. "He's really attracted to her and things are going pretty well." Said a second source, "Their relationship started out slowly, but lately, they are spending more time together. They seem very happy."
On June 8, after unfounded rumors that David Beckham and Victoria Beckham are divorcing began trending on Twitter, a spokesperson for the power couple shot down the buzz to The Sun: "There is no statement due, no divorce, and a lot of [the telephone game] and fake social media news," said the rep. "This is all very bizarre and an embarrassing waste of time. … It's a crock of s—." The false report started trending after a junior publicist for a company that represents Paddy Power, an Irish bookmaker, tweeted to her family that the gambling company had decided to suspend betting on David and Victoria's breakup. This was incorrectly interpreted by the Twitter community as a confirmation that the couple of more than two decades had called it quits. (Bizarre, indeed!) On June 10, the soccer star and the former Spice Girl signaled that everything between them is just fine by presenting a united front during London Fashion Week.
Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are hooking up again, Us Weekly reported on June 13. "Hailey has always loved Justin and they have been best friends, so it's no surprise that they're hooking up again," said a source. The duo, who briefly dated in late 2015 and early 2016, first sparked romance rumors after they were seen together in Miami on several occasions over the span of a few days in early June. On June 11, after attending a church conference together during the day, the longtime friends stepped out for dinner and then partied at LIV nightclub, where, according to TMZ, they were seen holding hands and dancing together. (They reportedly left the venue holding hands around 3 a.m.) The pair then jetted back to New York City, where they apparently spent the night at the same hotel. On June 13, they were photographed grabbing coffee together. During an interview with The Sunday Times that hit the Internet on May 27, Hailey said that her brief romance with the trouble-prone pop star "brought both of us to the realization that we just work much better as friends." But in Hollywood, a lot can change over the course of a few weeks!
Brittany Cartwright took to Instagram on June 7 to reveal that she and Jax Taylor are engaged. "Omg omg!!!!!!!! We are ENGAGED! What a way to start our summer and season 7!! I am so happy, so in love, and so beyond excited for this next chapter of our lives! I can't wait for all of you to see how he proposed! I am the happiest girl ever right now. 💝👑 love can win 💝💝 #PumpRules thank you @kylechandesign this ring is gorgeous!!!" the "Vanderpump Rules" star captioned a slideshow of two photos showing off her engagement bling. In subsequent Instagram posts, the duo revealed that Jax popped the question at Neptune's Net restaurant in Malibu as Bravo cameras rolled, capturing the proposal for the upcoming seventh season of "Vanderpump Rules." Jax also shed some light on Brittany's new sparkler: "My amazing friend/brother @kylechandesign knocked it out of the park on this ring. I told him a few details but I trusted him and as you can see he came through above and beyond. When I decided to do this he was the only one I wanted to design Brittany's ring and this is why.. flawless Kyle absolutely flawless," he wrote after gushing that he's "marrying the woman of [his] dreams" and that he " could not be happier."
Keegan-Michael Key and producer-director Elisa Pugliese tied the knot at their home in New York City on June 8. The bride donned a sleeveless tea-length Prada dress, while the groom sported a navy-blue Paul Smith suit during their intimate nuptials. The comedian took to Twitter to share a photo of himself kissing his new wife as she held her bouquet. "Best. Day. Ever," he wrote in the caption. "Dear Mr. Key, I love you more every day. Sincerely, Mrs. Key," Elisa tweeted in response.
Olivia Culpo and Danny Amendola sparked reconciliation rumors when they attended a wedding together in Houston on June 9. According to TMZ, the NFL wide receiver, who was part of the wedding party, brought the former beauty queen as his date. They reportedly packed on the PDA during the reception, kissing, hugging and holding hands. Olivia said in March that she and Danny had parted ways after more than two years of coupledom.
The Blast reported on June 11 that more than three years after they split in late 2014 following 13 years of marriage, Slash has made major moves to get his divorce from Perla Ferrar finalized. The Guns N' Roses guitarist, who accused his ex of deliberately drawing out their divorce proceedings, is offering her a ton of money to cut ties for good: $100K a month in spousal support until she dies or remarries as well as a $6.6M one-time equalization payment. He's also offering her primary physical custody of their two teen sons, though they'll share legal custody, and $39K a month in child support. The boys will also get 1.8 percent of their dad's income for the next 18 years. Slash will hang onto his interest in Guns N' Roses, as well as his other companies, his residuals, trademarks, bank accounts, guitar collection and a 2011 Ford F-150 truck. Perla will get three other cars and a property in Los Angeles. (They both purchased new homes with community funds in late 2017: a $6.25 million property for him and a $3.5 million place for her just four miles away.) Back in 2015, TMZ reported that the former couple never signed a prenup and that Perla initially wanted half of all her husband's assets.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are getting real serious real fast. On June 9, the "Quantico" actress joined her new beau at his cousin's wedding in New Jersey, where she met his brother, Kevin Jonas, and sister-in-law Danielle Jonas. Three days later, the duo were photographed during a dinner date in New York City (pictured).
On June 10, less than a week after she was caught on-camera kissing Anwar Hadid, Kendall Jenner stepped out with Ben Simmons, to whom she was first linked in late May. The duo went shopping and then spent time together at the basketball star's home. "Kendall is having fun. She doesn't want a serious relationship and is just enjoying being single," a source told People magazine as part of a June 7 report. "She feels that whenever she has been serious about guys in the past, it's kind of a mess and doesn't work out. She invested time in the relationship with Blake Griffin. She isn't planning on doing the same right now." Speaking of Blake…
NBA star Blake Griffin and Francesca Aiello, who founded Frankies Bikinis, were caught kissing in Malibu on June 9 and June 10. The duo were first seen together on June 1 during a dinner date at Nobu in Malibu, though at the time, various media outlets described the designer as simply a "mystery woman."
Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are still going strong in spite of his April infidelity scandal. On June 6, the new mom cheered on her baby daddy as his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, lost game three of the NBA Finals to the Golden State Warriors. Two nights later, she was back for game four. The following day, the duo presented a united front while celebrating a friend's birthday at a restaurant in Cleveland. "Khloe and Tristan were there together, they were sitting next to each other during dinner and there was no animosity between them," a source told E! News. "Everybody looked happy, normal and like they were having a great time."
Tiffany Haddish once tried to pick up Leonardo DiCaprio, she told The Hollywood Reporter as part of an interview that hit the Internet on June 13. "I met him at a party two, three months ago, and I asked him if he'd let me hit that," she said. "He's like, 'Tiffany, you're so funny.' I'm like, 'I'm serious.'" The comedian only had one stipulation: She wanted the Oscar winner to stay in character as his "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" alter ego during the act. "He starts bustin' up laughin'. 'Why?' he asks, and I say, 'Cause I feel like that performance deserves a real reward and that reward is [my body],'" Tiffany recalled. "He starts goin' into how he got into the role, how he worked with these kids and all this stuff, and I'm just listenin' and listenin', like, 'Mmm-hmm, mmm-hmm.' I finally go, 'All that's good, I just need to know, When's this gonna happen?'"
During a June 13 appearance on Andy Cohen's SiriusXM radio show, "Radio Andy," Sophia Bush said that she never wanted to marry ex-husband Chad Michael Murray. (The duo connected on the set of "One Tree Hill," tied the knot and divorced all within the span of just three years.) "Everybody's been 22 and stupid," she said when asked how old she was when she wed her co-star. "It was not a thing I actually really wanted to do," she continued. When Andy asked how she ended up getting married if she didn't even want to, she implied that she'd been pressured by her bosses. "Because how do you let everybody down? And how do you, what's the fight? And when you have bosses telling you that you're the only person who gets a person to work on time and 200 people either get to either see their kids at night or they don't because our days start on time?" she said. "Life is always loaded. What the public knows ever is never — it's not the tip of the iceberg. Hilarie [Burton] and I used to laugh and we were like, 'If we had a behind-the-scenes show, the drama would be so much f—— better than any drama that the writers write.'" When the host suggested that she write a book, Sophia fired back, "But I don't want to. Why do I want to talk about this anymore? And I get why you asked, but it's like people won't let it go." Not long after the interview hit the Internet, the actress took to Twitter to say that her comments had been misrepresented: "When you're taking the p— out of yourself — b/c people can't let the past go & you really wish they would – & gossip rags try to turn it into inappropriate drama rather than self-deprication. Don't twist people's words, y'all. If it wasn't clear, I was making fun of MYSELF," she tweeted. "And if all the years that have passed haven't made it WILDLY clear that we're all grown ups who've become the best versions of ourselves, then I just don't know what to say. And PS, if my teasing MYSELF on the radio today — for my past — hurt anyone's feelings, I am sorry."
Iggy Azalea was not impressed when her ex-fiance, professional basketball player Nick Young, seemingly referenced their headline-making breakup during an interview with a group of reporters following the Golden State Warriors' victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers during the NBA playoffs on June 8. "I've come a long way, haven't I? I went from being snitched on to put a ring on… I'm a champ," he said. The duo memorably called off their engagement in mid-2016 when one of Nick's teammates shared a video of him fessing up to cheating on Iggy. (That said, it's likely he was talking about a championship ring and not an engagement ring.) After fans flocked to Iggy's Instagram to alert her to her ex's apparent shade, she replied in the comments section of one of her posts, "I want him to stop referencing the s— he did as if it's funny or even cool just because it's old now. I've moved on but it's never gonna be a cute joke to make." She then commented on a video of Nick's post-win interview on Instagram, writing, "it's so much better when you just take your team win & don't include any celebratory references to you [having sex with] countless chicks while you were engaged." Eventually, Nick chimed in to say that his comments were "not even about [Iggy]."
Gwyneth Paltrow isn't planning her own wedding. "I'm very busy so I'm actually not that involved in [wedding planning]. I have so much going on and I'm sort of outsourcing that," she told E! News as part of an interview that hit the Internet on June 12. "I'm probably the least bridezilla person — probably to a fault — that has ever come across my wedding planner's office doors," she continued, later adding that she hasn't decided whether or not she'll share anything with the public after she and her fiance, TV producer Brad Falchuk, tie the knot. "I don't know if I'll share it or not," she said. "I think it's always a fine line of having something that is just yours but also being celebratory, so we'll see."
In March, media outlets reported that Michael Cera had secretly married his longtime girlfriend, a woman named Nadine. On June 10, the super-private pair made a rare public appearance at the Tony Awards.
Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon opened up about taking their relationship to the next level during an interview with Ellentube, Ellen DeGeneres' video platform, that hit the Internet on June 12. "We've been dating for a few months now, and so it's so weird thinking about a time where we weren't holding hands or kissing. It just feels so right," said Jared after Ashley joked that she only cries tears of joy these days. When asked about their plans for the future, Jared said that they know they want to take the next step "at some point" but haven't locked down a timeline yet. "She wants to get married next summer," he said, adding that his girlfriend wants to take his last name. Ashley also said that she connects so well with Jared because he's similar to her sister. All righty then!
Amal Clooney gushed over husband George Clooney as he was honored by the American Film Institute during its 46th Life Achievement Award Gala in Los Angeles on June 7. "[He] is the person who has my complete admiration and also the person whose smile makes me melt every time," she said. "My love, what I have found with you is the great love I always hoped existed. And seeing you with our children, Ella and Alexander, is the greatest joy in my life." Aww!
