Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the stars who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in late April 2020, starting with this former "Dancing With the Stars" pro… In early March, there were reports that Julianne Hough and her husband of two years, Brooks Laich, were "totally fine" after working through "a rough patch" in their marriage. Then in mid-April, it became clear that the duo are quarantining separately amid the coronavirus pandemic, with the singer-actress passing time at their home in Los Angeles while the former hockey star is at their property in Idaho. On April 16 — as their unique arrangement raised questions about the status of their marriage — Julianne stepped out with handsome "The Chronicles of Narnia" actor Ben Barnes (see photos here), indicating that they're in quarantine together. (The duo, who were photographed together in 2016, have reportedly been friends for years.) The following day, Us Weekly reported that, according to a source, Julianne and Brooks "are not doing well." Five days later, however, she left a flirty comment on a photo he shared on Instagram to promote his "How Men Think" podcast. "That beard though," she wrote along with the heart-eyes emoji. Meanwhile, on the April 21 episode of his podcast, Brooks explained that he's been in Idaho "doing a mass cleaning" of his 10-and-a-half-acre property there. "I've been good with the isolation," he said, noting that he'd "probably be a little more antsy" if it weren't for his dog. He also mentioned that he misses "the friendships and companionships where you do get to hug somebody and be in the same room." On the April 17 episode of MSNBC's "Morning Joe," Lady Gaga casually referred to her new boyfriend, Michael Polansky, as "the love of my life." The following day, E! News reported that, according to a source, the duo are "getting very serious" amid the coronavirus pandemic. "They have been quarantined together and she is happy for this time with him," said the source. "They've been staying in at her place in Malibu watching movies, cooking and just hanging out. … She's taking this quarantine very seriously and they aren't leaving the house. They have gotten delivery a few times but they are happy to stay home and safe together." The insider added that Michael is "down-to-earth" and Gaga is "incredibly happy with him."

It was another wild week for former "The Bachelor" star Peter Weber. The trouble started on April 20 when Madison Prewett — one of his recent ex-girlfriends — shared a TikTok video featuring herself and several other women who competed for his heart on season 24 of "The Bachelor." When a fan asked why Kelley Flanagan wasn't included, Madi wrote back that the lawyer wasn't available to participate because she's "with our ex." Madi later insisted that her shady comment was "just a joke" and that when it comes to Peter and Kelley, she has "all the love for them both." But then Madison appeared on the April 21 episode of Kaitlyn Bristowe's "Off the Vine" podcast. During the wide-ranging 90-minute chat, she made it clear that her feelings for Peter were the real deal and that they both fought hard for their relationship. She called her decision to leave the show "a selfless act," explaining that in spite of how she felt about Peter, she thought that he and Hannah Ann Sluss made "more sense" together. She also implied that Peter told her he definitely planned to pick her over Hannah Ann — which directly contradicts what he said earlier this month. As for their brief reconciliation after Peter and Hannah Ann split, Madi insisted that they weren't officially back together when they reunited on-camera for the "After the Final Rose" special. The disastrous results played a direct role in her decision to walk away from Peter for good: "We finally got to a place where we just realized, with everything that's happened, this isn't necessarily the best foundation to be starting a relationship," she said. Then the plot thickened. Madi told Kaitlyn that she and Kelley "were best friends" and "inseparable throughout the entire process" of shooting season 24 of "The Bachelor." She then dropped two major bombshells: First, she heard rumors that Peter and Kelley were talking and meeting up while he was still working on his relationships with both her and Hannah Ann, and second, Peter tried to get back together with her just two days before he and Kelley were seen together in Chicago for the first time. "He was, like, calling me and texting me being like, 'I miss you, let's get back together,'" Madi claimed, adding that she was completely caught off guard to see Kelley and Peter spending time together and really hurt that neither of them gave her a heads up. After the photos of the new couple surfaced, Peter reached out to Madison "kind of explaining himself, but not really." Said the Alabama native, "I was just like, 'Look, this doesn't affect anything for me — we went our separate ways. It's not like I lost something here. … What I'm confused about, Peter, is that two days ago, you were telling me how much you loved me and wanted to get back together and now you're with the one person that was my best friend.'" She went on to call the whole situation "a little hurtful." Despite her confusion and disappointment, she shared encouraging words for both her ex and her former pal, whom she noted she hasn't spoken to "in a really long time." Said Madi, "I say this genuinely meaning it: I saw something special in Kelley. That's why she was my best friend. I saw something special in Peter. That's why I loved him and wanted to fight so hard to make the relationship work. So they're obviously both incredible and special people. … I know he's not the one for me, so I wish them all the best." But her support seemingly fell on deaf ears: Peter cryptically addressed Madison in the comments section of a Bachelor Nation fan account on Instagram: "You'd think you'd have a little more respect for this situation given we both know there's more to the story," he wrote. Cole Sprouse took to his Instagram Story on April 19 to slam rumors he cheated on his off-and-on girlfriend, Lili Reinhart, with Kaia Gerber. Wrote the "Riverdale" actor of the rumors, which kicked off after Kaia posted some old photos of herself hanging out at Cole's house, "I tolerate a lot of rumors and slander from people online claiming to be my fans. Fans who feel entitled to my privacy precisely because I never indulge them. But attacking my friends, baseless accusations, leaking my address and sending death threats are all qualities of insanity and fanaticism. Stop being [clowns]. … When I first stepped into a public relationship this was one of the foreseeable consequences. And while I truly never intended to indulge any part of my private life to the ravenous horde, it's clear my restraint in updating them has allowed them to push their own agenda onto my habits and lifestyle." On April 20, E! News reported that, according to a source, Cole and Lili are "still together" but have "been trying to be more low-key." Said the source, "They haven't been [in quarantine] together but haven't split. … Their relationship is always up and down but they do talk every day and care very much about one another." The insider also noted that "the photos of Kaia at Cole's house are old" and that the actor and the teen model "are just friends and have never been romantic."
Us Weekly reported on April 18 that, according to a source, Nina Dobrev and Shaun White, who were first linked in late March, "are into each other and are dating." Added the source, "They're enjoying their time together and getting to know each other better. … Nina really likes Shaun and they both laugh a lot together and think each other is funny."
Duane "Dog the Bounty Hunter" Chapman went Instagram official with his new girlfriend of a few months, Francie Frane, on April 15, re-posting a photo of them together that she first shared on April 11, along with the caption, "So excited for this new chapter!" After Dog re-posted the pic, Francie — whose husband, Bob, reportedly passed away just a few months before Duane lost his wife, Beth Chapman, to cancer in June 2019 — thanked her followers for their "encouraging comments" about their relationship. "We know God brought us together and have no doubts about that AT ALL!!" she wrote. "[Neither] one of us can replace what we had with Bob & Beth and we don't want to…. What we do know is that God has brought two people who have walked a treacherous road together and shown us LOVE is possible again ❤️ And as Wonderful, Loving and Kind as You all think Dog is, HE IS & MORE!! It's official! Jim Edmonds and former Playboy model Kortnie O'Connor are an item. On April 15, he took to his Instagram Story to share a series of photos of himself and the brunette beauty working out together at his home in St. Louis. His rep later confirmed their relationship status to People magazine: "Jim and Kortnie are in a relationship and in quarantine together," said the rep. "They are both doing well and exercising regularly in Jim's home gym." Back in January, Jim's estranged wife, Meghan King Edmonds, alleged that she and Jim once had a threesome with Kortnie. The former "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star also alleged that Jim and Kortnie later had an affair.
On April 21, Page Six broke the news that Dina Lohan has reconciled with her former longtime boyfriend, Jesse Nadler — whom she's still never met in person. The duo reconnected — and went Facebook official — after she got sober earlier this year. "[Dina's] been sober and healthy for over two months, and we've been great," Jesse told the New York Post's gossip column, adding that he's been sober for more than a year and that his sobriety has been a "good influence" on his girlfriend. He also noted that they plan to meet in person after the quarantine ends.
When the ESPN docuseries "The Last Dance" debuted on April 19, it brought Scottie Pippen — and allegations that his estranged wife, Larsa Pippen, cheated on him with rapper Future — back into the spotlight. On April 20, the mother of four defended herself on Twitter: "I was married to him for 20 years, I did everything for him and my family. People change and that's what really happened," she wrote in a since-deleted tweet. "Most people can't even imagine being in a relationship a week so I know it's beyond imagination. Cheating wasn't the problem."
During an April 21 Instagram Live, Aaron Carter revealed that he and Melanie Martin are expecting a baby together. Earlier that day, the model shared the first indication that they'd reconciled following a late-March split when she posted a new photo of them kissing. Both Aaron and Melanie have since restored the old photos of them together that they archived on Instagram when they broke up.
Presley Gerber took to Instagram on April 17 to share a photo of himself and Sydney Brooke smooching. "Bonnie and Clyde," he wrote in the caption, seemingly confirming recent rumors they're an item. Late last month, the male model sang a different tune on Instagram: "We work together… literally," he captioned a March 28 paparazzi photo of himself and Sydney outside Café Habana Malibu restaurant, which his dad, Rande Gerber, owns.
In an April 18 Instagram video, Dwayne Johnson dished on how he and his wife of less than a year, Lauren Hashian, are holding up amid the coronavirus pandemic: "I have found that the quarantine has had a very positive effect on my relationship and my marriage," he said, acknowledging that they "get snippy with each other" and "argue" but are trying to "go easy on each other" and " make things light." The Rock admitted that he was "really wobbly at times" during the first two weeks of quarantine: "I found myself consistently apologizing to Lauren about every other day: 'Hey, I'm sorry. This is not my best week. … Thank you for being patient with me,'" he said, calling his wife "the best" and praising her for her high emotional intelligence as they go "through the dumb [stuff]" together. "[Lauren] and I are doing our best during these stressful times," he added in the caption. "We realized kinda quickly how critical it was for us to be ultra considerate, caring and empathetic of one another. Be even better listeners. Even better communicators. Recognize that during these times, we're not operating at full brain & emotional EQ capacity as we usually are. You're gonna get snippy, short tempered and you guys may erupt at each other over some silly [stuff] like we did."
During an interview with "Entertainment Tonight" that popped up online on April 15, Rosario Dawson said that it's been "really challenging" being "so many thousands of miles apart" from her boyfriend, former presidential candidate Cory Booker, amid the coronavirus pandemic. The actress and the New Jersey senator, who's "in D.C. working on the stimulus package," were set to take their "longest vacation ever" this month, but those plans are now on hold. "He's been campaigning the whole year and it was just only a couple of months since we started dating. So we've not really had a really good chunk of time together because of our work and our family and all the other things," Rosario said, noting that what was supposed to be their longest stretch of time together ended up being their "longest period apart." She went on to say that she's not sure when she'll be able to see her beau again: "We're just taking it every day at a time," she said. The "Briarpatch" star also gushed about how supportive Cory is of her career — for example, he marathoned "Jane the Virgin" so that he could watch her on the final two seasons. "It's been very sweet. He's been very encouraging and very supportive," she said. "He's just a good, really good guy through and through. … To see him, and witness him, and love him through such incredible, powerful stages in his life in just this past year… [It's] been amazing to see how his energy is just unwavering. It's powerful."
During an interview for the April 19 issue of The Sydney Morning Herald's Sunday Life magazine, Cody Simpson gushed about his girlfriend, Miley Cyrus, calling her "a wonderful thing in my life." Said the Australian singer-songwriter, "She is creative and inspiring, fiercely independent and encourages me to be my own person too. We are both creative individuals who support one another with our work. … Miley also inspires my art. There's some romance in the poems I have written and, yeah, they might be about her. It's inevitable that what happens in my private life comes out in my work." Added Cody of relationships, "I do like to be in them, but I've had some time alone too. In order to have a successful relationship, you have to know how to be your own person. You don't want to be half a person trying to find another half to complement you." Independence is clearly a quality he values in women: "I dated Gigi Hadid for two years and have always enjoyed being with independent women who are strong individuals," he said, noting that he's "never really been heartbroken in the deepest sense" but has been "disappointed in relationships." Cody concluded by saying of marriage, "I believe in marriage but haven't thought too much about that. I am far too young to consider it, to be honest. I just continue to surround myself with positive women who inspire me and teach me new things every day."
During an April 21 chat with "Extra," Kenya Moore said she doesn't "know what the chances are" that she and her estranged husband, Marc Daly, will be able to make their relationship work. "Only God knows that," she said, adding that she'd "be super happy" if they were able to make it work because she and Marc share a daughter, Brooklyn. "If it doesn't, I think we'll all be OK," she concluded.
During an April 20 Instagram Live, Eva Amurri opened up about quarantining with her ex-husband, Kyle Martino, and their three kids amid the coronavirus pandemic. "I'm very unconventionally isolating with my ex-husband," she said. "It's been really interesting. He actually said in an [Instagram] Live for work that we sort of jammed a year of therapy into a few weeks of self-isolation because we had to really get on the same page. So many times we've come up against some conflicts — as you would imagine — and had to work through them." (Earlier this month, Kyle said, "Basically, [we] just fast-forwarded through a year of therapy and getting to an amazing place in three weeks because now we have to live together.") The mother of three went on to say that things have been "working well" with her ex living in the studio on her property in Connecticut. Because he lives in New York City, she explained, "it was either he isolates on his own and doesn't see the kids for who knows how long" or they isolate together. "It was an obvious choice for the kids' sake and his sake," she said. "It's been great, surprisingly, [but] it's obviously had its moments." She also noted that she and Kyle mediated their own divorce earlier this year, which she described as "really great." Concluded Eva, "We've just been building off of that and it's working thus far."
Is an engagement imminent?! During a joint April 15 Instagram Live, Big Sean hinted that he's getting really serious about his off-and-on relationship with Jhené Aiko. After the rapper told her that she looks good, Jhene asked, "Oh, yeah? Why don't you marry me?" Replied the rapper, "It's in the works. Don't even trip."
Scheana Shay's boyfriend, Brock Davies, made his television debut when he joined her for an impromptu appearance on the April 21 episode of "Watch What Happens Live," which they shot remotely from her home. "We've been officially [together] for, like, six months," he told Andy Cohen, joking that because they're in quarantine together, it feels like they've been together for "about a year and a half." When Andy asked Brock if he's been annoyed by Scheana's tendency to be "a little clingy," the Australian rugby player sweetly replied, "I think I like the attention I get from her. I'm into it." The following day, Scheana and Brock made their Instagram debut: "I've waited a while to actually post something w my BF bc negativity always surrounds my dating life and it can be frustrating. BU[T], it's been 7 months and I've never been happier!! I finally am ready to share our relationship as more than just a highlight of stories on here," she captioned a short video of them together in Hawaii.
On April 16, The Sun reported that The Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas is dating a roadie named Kaya who's half his age after quietly divorcing his wife of 15 years, Juliet Joslin, sometime last year. According to a source, the 41-year-old rocker "has been determined to keep [the breakup] private," but now that he and his new girlfriend — whom he met during a tour of the U.S. and "grew closer" to after ending his marriage — have been seen together several times, "he can't really pretend it hasn't happened anymore." He and Kaya "have been getting really close for months" and are now "pretty inseparable," said the source, noting that Kaya has been spotted backstage with Julian at several "huge events." "If the band goes somewhere for a tour or anything else, Kaya goes with him," added the insider. Julian has two sons with his ex, whom he wed in 2005. Their split is said to be amicable: "With love and respect, Julian and Juliet chose to end their marriage over a year ago. They are happily raising their boys together," confirmed Julian's rep.
Us Weekly reported on April 20 that former "Big Brother" stars Kathryn Dunn and Nick Maccarone recently called it quits. The blonde beauty attributed the breakup to the difficulties of maintaining a long-distance relationship amid the coronavirus pandemic: "Just the whole timing of the quarantine really took a toll," she said, noting that they split on April 9 after engaging in a "very childish" argument on Instagram Live. "It was something that shouldn't have happened, especially on such a public outlet," she said. The former pageant queen also placed some blame on their over-involved fanbase: "They were messaging him things like, 'Oh, you deserve to find someone who really loves you, and she's just not it.' You know, just getting involved in our business," she said. "It was kind of starting to cause, like, little arguments here and there. Just that along with the stress of quarantine and everything going on, it was getting like a little shaky, I guess." Ultimately, they "both decided that it was best given the current stressors, that it wasn't a good time to really continue our relationship." Kathryn added to Us Weekly that in spite of the breakup, she and Nick — who started seeing each other while shooting season 21 of "Big Brother" in the summer of 2019 — are currently "on great terms." Concluded the reality star, "He's still one of my best friends, we still talk pretty much every day."
Food Network star Anne Burrell took to Instagram on April 21 to announce that she and boyfriend Stuart Claxton — whom she met in 2018 via Bumble — are engaged. "A tiny bit of good news in these crazy times… We are engaged!!! @stuartclaxton I am a VERY #luckygirl!!!!" she captioned a photo of herself and her beau showing off her new engagement bling.
During an interview with DailyMail.com that hit the Internet on April 21, former Bachelor Nation star Chad Johnson said that although he and Annalise Mishler have been co-starring in explicit content for their OnlyFans accounts, they've yet to officially reconcile following their extremely contentious late February breakup. "I don't know what's going to happen with me and her. It's just constant turmoil," he said. "I still love her. We're just working through problems, trying to figure out if it would work."
On the April 22 episode of Nick Viall's "The Viall Files" podcast, Ben Higgins revealed that he and his new fiancée, Jessica Clarke, are abstaining from sex. "It's just a respect level," said the former star of "The Bachelor," noting that he "definitely" has not had sex in the "last year and a half" since they started dating. He also said that they intend to wait until they're married, though they've considered taking their physical relationship to the next level before they exchange vows. "We both were like, 'Yeah, we could definitely see it.' But what are we giving up to do that?" he said. "At the end of all of this, this is Jess's day. This is our day as a couple, but I want to make sure she has the wedding she's always dreamed of and that she feels celebrated."
Randall Emmett took to Instagram on April 18 to gush over his fiancée, "Vanderpump Rules" star Lala Kent, on what would've been their wedding day: "This was the most magical night of my life when I asked you to be my wife. Today was the day we were supposed to get married. Covid had other plans for us. I want you to know Lala your the love of my life and I can't wait to become your husband in July! I love you to the moon and back! You always have been and always will be my everything," he captioned a photo from the night he proposed in September 2018. In mid-March, the duo announced their plans to postpone their nuptials amid the coronavirus pandemic.
In other "Vanderpump Rules" delayed-nuptials news… During an April 16 digital party promoting Loverboy spritz, Stassi Schroeder said that when it comes to her postponed wedding plans, she and her fiancé, Beau Clark, are "trying to stay optimistic" that things will sort themselves out amid the coronavirus pandemic. "I've, like, given up the dream of having an awesome, big wedding. I won't be crushed if it doesn't happen. I give zero f—- at this point," she said according to Us Weekly, adding that she's already ordered her wedding dresses but isn't sure if anyone is making them because of various stay-at-home orders. The "Vanderpump Rules" star also opened up about recently moving in with her husband-to-be: "It really [does] feel like we lived together before," she said. "He literally lived right down the street a block away. … It's like we're experiencing honeymoon hell. Like, we're forced to be in the home that we just bought but we can't do anything fun."
On the April 16 episode of his eponymous podcast, Bachelor Nation blogger Reality Steve officially retracted his September 2018 reporting that Jenna Cooper cheated on Jordan Kimball, to whom she got engaged on the finale of the fifth season of "Bachelor in Paradise," calling the story "the biggest misstep" of his career. (She's long maintained that the evidence against her — including purported text messages between her and her "sugar daddy" — was fabricated.) On the podcast, Jenna described the "massive campaign of misinformation" against her and the steps she took to prove her innocence, including hiring forensic investigators to look into her phone and other electronic devices. She attributed the scandal to several individuals — specifically two female superfans of Jordan — but she couldn't say whether or not her ex played a role in its orchestration. "He didn't really act surprised," Jenna said of Jordan's reaction to the scandal back in 2018. "He said, 'I can be on your side in private, but publicly I can't because it's too bad for my image if this was true. I just can't handle that right now.'" She added that although she felt thrown under the bus by him at the time, she "can understand that reaction now." She later echoed to Us Weekly, "I thought that Jordan would defend me and we would get through it together, but it turned out very different. … It's hard to know [if he was involved] because he told me, 'Publicly, I can't be on your side, but privately I can defend you some,' basically. And so I don't know if that was me being manipulated. The problem is he didn't share information with me. Our communication wasn't open. There wasn't a lot of trust there. So I have no idea." Jenna is currently expecting her first child, a baby girl, with her boyfriend, Karl Hudson.
During an April 21 digital press conference with multiple media outlets, Katherine Schwarzenegger dished on the role good communication plays in her marriage with Chris Pratt: "I'm a big communicator," she said, according to Us Weekly. "I got married last June, and just communication constantly is, like, really the most amazing gift you can have, I think, in a partnership and in a relationship. … I'm not good with leaving things unsaid. Like, I just can't do it. I'm not the kind of person [who] is able to do it. I don't like to go to bed angry. And [Chris is] the same way. Like, we both do not ever want to go to bed angry." On the April 17 episode of Andy Cohen and Bruce Bozzi's SiriusXM show, "Radio Andy's Quarantined with Bruce," Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos dished on the secret to their healthy sex life: "I think we found each other at the right time in our lives. We were really young — not that that's the right time in somebody's life — but we were really pliable to each other," said the mother of three. "We really learned each other well. With that comes a certain level of comfort and confidence and experimentation and just fun." Chimed in the "Riverdale" actor, "I think you check off all the boxes for me."
While discussing her long battle with depression and anxiety during an interview with People magazine that hit the Internet on April 16, LeAnn Rimes opened up about the toll her mental health struggles took on her relationships: "At one point, there was such a weight on my marriage," she said. "Eddie and my friends and those close to me experienced pain through my eyes. They weren't exempt from it." She went on to describe how treatment and self-care practices have helped them over the years: "By being able to care for my own body and not expecting Eddie to do it for me, we've been able to become better partners," she said. "Eddie is a rock. And we're not so enmeshed. We can build our own selves up and I think that's so important. We're stronger than ever."
During an interview with Us Weekly that hit the Internet on April 17, Jana Kramer opened up about weathering rough patches in her marriage with Mike Caussin, who's battled sex addiction for years: "At the end of the day, I'm like, 'We can have our tiffs and we can have our riffs and whatever else … but that's not gonna break us.' And it's like, if the stuff that's already happened hasn't broken us, let's not let this break us," she said. "The only way that I would leave, I always say, is if he stopped trying, if he stopped working on himself. That is when I would say, 'I'm done.' Like, that's really truly when I can say I'm done because you can't be in a relationship with stuff going on if the other person isn't working their stuff and trying to be a better version."
During an April 15 interview with Us Weekly, "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star Braunwyn Windham-Burke said of quarantining with husband Sean Burke, "People are not supposed to be together this much. … The other day he walked into the room and I just wanted a moment to myself and in my head, I'm like, 'Please don't acknowledge my existence, just don't even look at me, please don't acknowledge me. Can we just pretend we're by ourselves?'"
During an April 16 Instagram Live, Halle Berry said that she's been "decidedly single" since her divorce from Olivier Martinez, with whom she shares son Maceo. "I've learned a lot being with my children. They are the best company for me right now, and [since] I divorced Maceo's dad, I've been pretty alone by myself going on three years now," said the actress, who also shares daughter Nahla with ex Gabriel Aubry. "I have decided to take time [from relationships]. I'm very much a relationship-oriented person — I always want to be with someone. But I decided, no, I'm going to slow my roll, I'm going to take a minute and I'm going to spent time with me. … And it's been so great that I think I might stay like this!" The mother of two went on to say that following her divorce, she intended to take off "one full year" from dating, but "one year led to two years and two years is now leading to three years." She concluded by saying that the best gift that "comes with age" is "the gift of your own company." Said the Oscar winner, "You will start to enjoy that time and being with yourself and your company being the most important company."
During an interview with Us Weekly that hit the Internet on April 20, "Little People, Big World" star Amy Roloff said that her ex-husband, Matt Roloff, and his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, are welcome to attend when she marries her fiancé, Chris Marek, in the summer of 2021. "It's not like they're not going to be invited," she said, though her beau noted that they "have the impression that it's not something" Matt and Caryn would be "interested" in attending. "They're welcome if they'd like to come," he said. "We don't want anyone coming to our wedding out of obligation. The wedding is supposed to be about good friends and close family. I like Matt; I get along with him fine — and Caryn. But we're not friends that hang out. We don't do things together." Chimed in Amy, "I just don't want to invite someone because we're inviting them. They would be invited, but I wouldn't expect them to come because of what they expressed in the past. But the past is the past. Things can change in the future. We'll see." She went on to say that she "would not expect" to get an invitation to Matt and Caryn's wedding if they were to tie the knot. "You want to start your new relationship with the people that are going to be part of [it]," she said, adding that she would attend her ex's nuptials to "support" the four adult children they share and to wish him well. As for the current state of her relationship with Caryn, a former longtime employee of the Roloff family's farm, "I think [things are getting] better and I'm hoping over time they'll continue to get better, but I would not say I'm friends with her," said Amy. "To me, there's enough history there that that would take a very, very long time. But like Matt [does with Chris], I'll still be respectful and cordial to her. She's going to be around my kids, my grandkids. This is who Matt, knowing someone for quite some time, will probably eventually marry." Meanwhile, Matt and Caryn told Us Weekly that marriage is "not a priority" for them right now. As for their status with Amy, "Time heals, and so everything is moving in a good trajectory right now," said Caryn. "There's no hard feelings. … We're together sometimes and we make it pleasant. I'm super, super happy for [her and Chris]. I think that this is something Amy wanted, and I'm glad for her. … I care for her. I hope that she's happy." Matt added of his ex-wife's new love, "Chris is a really, really good guy. I think everybody would tell you he really is good for Amy. He treats her very, very well. … From what we can tell, they're really good together. They enjoy each other's company, and they have fun. So I'm very, very happy for them and hope to give them all my blessings in the world."
During an interview with Us Weekly that hit the Internet on April 17, Leah Messer said that she isn't currently dating anyone "specifically" but is "talking to" a few people. "I'm dating a bunch of people, doing my thing, living my best life and if the right one comes along, fantastic," said the "Teen Mom" star, adding that she's "perfectly content with the way it is now." As for the current state of her relationship with her second husband, Jeremy Calvert, with whom she shares 7-year-old daughter Adalynn, "Jeremy is a great, great guy. We're great friends, but any more than that, it doesn't align with my life," said the mother of three. "I don't know what he's thinking, but we are perfectly happy the way things are." Leah and Jeremy, who've briefly reconciled in the past, split in 2015 after three years of marriage.
On the April 16 debut of her "Hustling" podcast, Vivica A. Fox revealed that ex-boyfriend 50 Cent called her "First Wife" during their relationship. During an April 21 interview with "Extra," she said that sharing that anecdote with her fans served as "closure" for her. "There was nothing malicious with it. I will always have love for him. I always wish him well, but it was time for that chapter in my life to close," she said. "I was really grateful that people now have clarity in what happened with that love story because they were so fascinated with it — more fascinated than I was!" Added the actress, "He knows that I wish him the best. I always will. He gets on my nerves sometimes! He's a little bit of a troll master, but that's all right, Curtis, you do you!"
