Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the stars who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in mid-December 2020, starting with this ongoing drama… Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West have reportedly hit another rough patch in their relationship. On Dec. 9, "Entertainment Tonight" reported that, according to a source, the mother of four is "exhausted from continually trying" to keep their marriage afloat but "keeps their [wedding] vows in mind when making any pertinent decisions." The rapper, meanwhile, "is working on his psychological health and mental state." The source noted that Kanye is "still in contact" with Kim's family and "everyone wants the best" for them and their children, though Kim feels he "needs to work on himself before he can work on the well-being of anyone else." Added the source of the possibility of throwing in the towel, "Kim's family will support her in any decision she makes, but she feels that the most important thing to recognize before making any choice is realizing what's best for the kids, herself, Kanye and the rest of the family, essentially in that order." Two days later, People magazine reported that, according to a source, Kim and Kanye "very much live separate lives" that "don't overlap much." In spite of that, the People source said, the reality star "seems happy" as she focuses on work and her children. Then on Dec. 15, E! News reported that, according to a source, Kim and Kanye "are doing their own thing" and "spend a lot of time apart" as they remain "focused on the things that are important to them." The E! insider went on to say that Kim "doesn't micromanage" her relationship with her husband or "worry about it too much." Said the source, "She lets him go off and be who he is. It is what it is. … They are still a family and they come together for the kids." The E! source also noted that Kim and Kanye plan to spend the holidays together as a family with their children. Tristan Thompson sparked rumors that he's cheating on Khloe Kardashian (again) when he stepped out for dinner with a beautiful blonde in Boston on Dec. 13. (See the photos here.) Two days later, however, TMZ reported that the mystery woman is simply the basketball star's estate manager: a woman named Julia who's helping him find a home in Boston, where he's now playing for the Celtics. According to the webloid's sources, there was "nothing romantic" about the dinner, which appeared casual. TMZ adds that Khloe is now visiting Tristan in Boston with their daughter, True. Earlier in the week, "Entertainment Tonight" reported that, according to a source, the reality star "is especially going through it" but "doing her best to keep her head up and stay positive" amid her back-on beau's big move across the country. "Tristan in Boston is a difficult pill to swallow for Khloe especially since she and Tristan have been doing so much better as a couple and as a family lately," said the source. "She's not excited for the move for her family's sake, but she is for Tristan and his career. At this point they're planning to split their time between L.A. and Boston, but it's still up in the air and there's no definite answer since they are still working on rebuilding their relationship and trust." Tristan, meanwhile, "is continuing to be extra attentive to both Khloe and True and will do whatever it takes to keep the family together and stronger than ever," according to the "ET" insider.

Who had this romance on their Bingo card? "Entertainment Tonight" reported on Dec. 14 that, according to a source, "Dancing With the Stars" pro Gleb Savchenko and "Sharknado" franchise star Cassie Scerbo have been dating for a few weeks now and are "having a lot of fun together." Said the source, "They're very into each other and get along well. They're not serious at this point, but they're seeing where things go. They've been enjoying spending time together and getting to know each other better." The duo first sparked romance rumors when they were seen vacationing in Mexico with Gleb's pal Keo Motsepe and his new girlfriend, Chrishell Stause. (See a photo here.) Ironically, amid Gleb's split from wife Elena Samodanova, he and Chrishell faced rumors they'd had an affair while competing together on "Dancing With the Stars."

On Dec. 15, People magazine broke the news that Lana Del Rey is engaged to her secret boyfriend: a model and singer named Clayton Johnson whom she met on a dating app earlier this year. The duo have been subtly posting about each other on social media since August.
On the Dec. 15 episode of "The Kelly Clarkson Show," Gwen Stefani said she "had no idea, obviously" that her longtime love, Blake Shelton, planned to propose at his ranch in Oklahoma back in October. In fact, she actually tried to cancel her trip out to visit him, she revealed: "I was trying to get out of going back to Oklahoma because it was getting too complicated with COVID and the family," she said, adding that she ultimately made it to the Sooner State — where she and Blake are building a new home on his property — with several members from each of their extended families. "We were going to go from one part of the land to the other part of the land to go see the house. And meanwhile, I guess, Blake had this ring, like, ready to go for like a couple of weeks," she recalled. Gwen also revealed that only her father knew Blake planned to propose: On her birthday in early October, Blake asked her dad for permission to pop the question and showed him the engagement ring, which the country crooner finally presented to Gwen as he attempted to build a fire. When he got down on his knees, he asked her to retrieve a fire starter from a cabinet where he'd hidden the ring box. "I was like, 'Ah! What? Are you serious?!'" exclaimed the bride-to-be. Blake, meanwhile, said on the Dec. 14 episode of Bobby Bones' eponymous radio show that he'd been hiding the ring "in the compartment on the door of my truck for about a week" before he proposed — which he called "the scariest thing." He went on to explain why it was important for him to propose in front of Gwen's family: "The only thing I had planned, Bobby, was that I knew that I wanted to do it in Oklahoma while all her kids were there," he said. "I wanted everybody to be there in the moment. I didn't want to take her away or do something private away from the kids. I felt it was important for the kids to be a part of that moment, so that's what I did."
In other (possible) engagement news… Dakota Johnson sparked rumors that she and longtime love Chris Martin are secretly engaged when she was snapped sporting a sizable emerald on her ring finger during an outing in West Hollywood in early December. (See photos here.) It's worth noting, however, that although the actress was otherwise dressed casually, she was also wearing two ruby-encrusted rings on her other hand.
A few days after Krstin Cavallari got tongues wagging by hanging out with "Southern Charm" stars Austen Kroll and Craig Conover (as well as her best friend and hairstylist Justin Anderson), she took to her Instagram Story to make it clear they're all just friends. "I didn't realize I wasn't allowed to have FRIENDS that are guys," she captioned a photo of herself on Dec. 14. Craig recently confirmed he's in a relationship with a woman named Natalie Hegnauer, though Austen is currently single after ending his off-and-on romance with Madison LeCroy earlier this year. Kristin, meanwhile, has been spending time with comedian Jeff Dye since mid-October.
Speaking of Austen Kroll.. During a Dec. 16 interview with Us Weekly, the reality star said that watching himself interact with off-and-on love Madison LeCroy on "Southern Charm" is like being able to see the signs they weren't meant to be "just right in front of my face." He also noted that they "broke up months ago" but only stopped communicating within the past few weeks. "The past two weeks is the longest I've ever gone without talking to her. So it's like I cut off my addiction cold turkey," he said, adding that it "hasn't been easy." He then addressed those Kristin Cavallari romance rumors: "Kristin is a beautiful, driven girl, clearly, [and that's] what I'm attracted to," he said. "But she has a lot on her plate, you know, she's going through her own stuff and … it's just not even something worth talking about."
Clare Crawley sparked speculation that she and Dale Moss had quietly tied the knot when she referred to him as her "husband" on her Instagram Story on Dec. 10. "Nothing makes me happier than grocery shopping with my husband," said the former star of "The Bachelorette," who got engaged to the male model over the summer. She soon returned to her Instagram Story to set the record straight, though: "Slip of the tongue! We aren't married!" she wrote.
E! News reported on Dec. 16 that, according to a source, Sofia Richie's rebound romance with Matthew Morton has "cooled down" since they were last seen together in early November. "They weren't seriously dating and were only casually seeing each other, but the relationship has definitely simmered," said the source. "Nothing in particular happened, they just both aren't ready for something serious." According to the insider, the duo still text each other "here and there, but haven't made plans for the holidays or seen each other."
On the Dec. 13 episode of "Watch What Happens Live," Kenya Moore said that she has "not filed for divorce" from Marc Daly, though she noted that "he did file" for divorce once but withdrew his paperwork "less than 24 hours later." (They've "kind of gotten past that," she added.) "Right now, Marc is really fighting for his marriage. He wants to go to counseling. He's made appointments. … And a lot of things that I never thought I'd see the day," explained the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star, who separated from her husband more than a year ago. Kenya had more to say about her complicated relationship with her estranged husband during an interview with "Entertainment Tonight" that debuted online on Dec. 13: "We're still separated, and I have gone through the gamut of emotions from being happy and happy to move on and to see what my life is going to be like in the next chapter … to being kind of sad," she said, adding that when she looks at their daughter, Brooklyn, she remembers "what an amazing family we had" and wonders "could we still have it." Kenya went on to say that she feels "turmoil a lot" and like she's "being pulled in different directions." However, "things really shifted" recently, she revealed. "I don't know where my heart really is right now," she said, noting that she'd "moved on" but now worries if she's "doing the right thing" by ending her marriage. "Should I allow this person to have another chance? Not just for the sake of a child, because I don't think you should stay together for the sake of a child, but … the sanctity of marriage is important to me and those vows are important to me," she said. "I didn't feel like he was fighting for me, and I had been resolved to just say, 'You know what? I'm not going to make myself miserable if someone doesn't want me,' because I am the prize and if they don't recognize that, it's just time for me to move on and maybe on to something new, different or even better." As for her formerly submissive dynamic with Marc, "I am in a very different place in my life," she said. "I will not bow down to a man. I will not beg for love and attention." Kenya added that she now has a better understanding of "things that happened to me when I was a child, in my childhood and what I needed and what I didn't get and how that manifests itself in my relationships."
Blast from the past! On the Dec. 14 episode of his "Talk to Chuck" podcast, Chuck Wicks dished on why he and Julianne Hough really called it quits more than a decade ago. At the time, their "careers were going great," they'd just bought a house and competed on "Dancing With the Stars" together. "Then out of nowhere, you find out that they're not the person that you thought they were and you break up," Chuck recalled, adding that they "made a pact together to basically lie" that their breakup was amicable and that "everything [was] fine" between them. "It wasn't fine. S*** hit the fan," he said. "I'm not going to throw anybody under the bus, but it wasn't my fault." He also said that when they broke up, he "didn't really like her at the time."
After FKA twigs filed a lawsuit against ex-boyfriend Shia LaBeouf accusing him of physical, emotional and sexual abuse, Sia took to Twitter to reveal that she also had a toxic relationship with the actor, who appeared in the 2015 music video for her hit single "Plastic Heart." It was the first indication that the Grammy-nominated pop star dated the "Transformers" alum. "I too have been hurt emotionally by Shia, a pathological liar, who conned me into an adulterous relationship claiming to be single. I believe he's very sick and have compassion for him AND his victims. Just know, if you love yourself- stay safe, stay away," Sia tweeted on Dec. 12. Twigs and Shia were first linked in September 2018 after connecting on the set of "Honey Boy." Their relationship signaled that his marriage to "Nymphomaniac" co-star Mia Goth had come to an end. Shia and Mia reportedly started dating in 2012 and wed in 2016. It appeared they'd reconciled earlier this year.
On Dec. 16, People magazine broke the news that "The Cosby Show" alum Keshia Knight Pulliam and "For Better or For Worse" actor Brad James got engaged in Atlanta earlier this month. "Keisha and Brad are excited to find their happily ever after," her publicist shared. Said the former child star of tying the knot again, "I think it's better when you've been married before because you're very clear in what you don't desire. It makes it so much clearer when you see what it is you do want." She and Brad first sparked romance rumors in July 2019.
Morgan Stewart and Jordan McGraw, who got engaged over the summer, announced on Instagram that they quietly tied the knot on Dec. 9. "Btw … Jordan and Morgan McGraw," the former "Rich Kids of Beverly Hills" star captioned a wedding photo. She and the musician — the son of TV therapist Dr. Phil McGraw — are currently expecting their first child.
On Dec. 11, Dove Cameron revealed on Twitter that she and her boyfriend of several years, "Descendants 2" co-star Thomas Doherty, called it quits earlier this year. "In October, @thomasadoherty and I decided to part ways. The decision was incredibly difficult, but we still have love for each other, and will remain friends. Thank you for allowing us our privacy in this time," she wrote.
On Dec. 16, People magazine broke the news that "Party of Five" star Brandon Larracuente married longtime love Jazmin Garcia in an "intimate and magical" ceremony attended by their "closest family and friends" at Paradise Cove in Orlando, Florida, on Dec. 8. The duo, who met when they were 17, reportedly got engaged in November 2019 after four years of dating. "We are on cloud nine," the "13 Reasons Why" actor told People, which published exclusive wedding photos.
According to the Chicago Tribune, G Herbo's lawyer revealed on Dec. 9 that the Chicago rapper and longtime love Taina Williams ("Love and Hip Hop: New York" alum Emily Bustamante's adult daughter from a relationship preceding her marriage to Fabolous) are engaged and expecting a child together. The duo first sparked engagement rumors over the summer when Taina started sporting a sizable sparkler on her ring finger. Also on Dec. 9, the "PTSD" rapper pleaded not guilty to federal charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and aggravated identity theft. He's been accused of using stolen identities to make fraudulent credit card charges.
Princess Diana's godson, Prince Philippos of Greece and Denmark, and longtime love Nina Nastassja Flohr tied the knot in a simple civil ceremony in St. Moritz, Switzerland, on Dec. 12. Only their fathers — King Konstantin and billionaire VistaJet entrepreneur Thomas Flohr — were on hand when the couple, who announced their engagement in September, exchanged vows.
According to TMZ, former "Smallville" star Allison Mack filed to divorce "Battlestar Galactica" alum Nicki Clyne in Orange County, California, on Dec. 11. The duo, who wed in 2017, were both members of NXIVM. In 2018 — the same year Allison, who served as a recruiter for NXIVM, was arrested and indicted on sex trafficking charges — a former publicist for the cult told Fox News that the two women "were told to get married" by NXIVM leader Keith Raniere and "jumped right into" the marriage. "It wasn't a romance at all," he said. There have also been rumors that they only married because Nicki is Canadian and was in jeopardy of being deported.
Bachelor Nation's Emily Ferguson — who competed for Ben Higgins' heart on season 20 of "The Bachelor" in 2016 — announced on Instagram on Dec. 13 that she's engaged to Swedish hockey player William Karlsson, who plays for the Las Vegas Golden Knights. "I SAID YES! I get to marry the man of my dreams. This is a moment I've dreamed of since I was a little girl and it's more than I could have ever imagined because it's truly with my perfect person. I can't wait to grow old and laugh with you forever 12/11/2020," she captioned a photo of herself and her beau. She later shared a video depicting the proposal, which went down while she was wearing sweats and hiking with William and their dog.
It appears Lamar Odom and Sabrina Parr have broken up again. In mid-December, the life coach removed all traces of the basketball star from her Instagram feed. She also shared some cryptic thoughts on her Instagram Story: "No human being can be trusted! I don't care who they are or what they represent in your life. If they are human, they are flawed & you never know what they are capable of doing! Only person you can trust is God!!!!" she wrote. It's been a whirlwind year for the couple, who got engaged in November 2019 after just three months of dating, briefly split in early November 2020 and then presented a united front while celebrating their first anniversary at the end of the month. They were all smiles while posing together on the red carpet at the Retired Players' Ball in Atlanta on Dec. 4 (pictured), but it appears things have taken a turn since then.
On the Dec. 10 episode of the "Reality Steve Podcast," Tayshia Adams' ex-husband, Josh Bourelle, opened up publicly for the first time about their divorce, accusing the current star of "The Bachelorette" of using their failed relationship story "to make her look better." Although he said he wishes "the best" for his ex-wife, he didn't mince words while discussing the circumstances that led to their split … and placing the blame squarely on her. "She made just as many mistakes — maybe even more mistakes than I did over the course of our relationship," he said at one point. He also addressed Tayshia's claims that he cheated on her: "The point that I was at when I made that mistake — and I came clean about that mistake too — was I was not happy with our relationship," he said, adding that he didn't feel like he had "a partner," realized he didn't want to raise children with Tayshia and felt that intimacy "was seriously lacking" in their relationship. "Those three factors are kind of what brought me to the conclusion that we're still young, we still got a lot of life to live, why don't we just go our separate ways and find our own happiness apart? I think that was a healthy decision," he said. "I had consistently expressed to her my unhappiness with our marriage. Before I made that mistake [of cheating], I was the one who was like, 'Let's go to therapy. Let's figure out a way to make our relationship better because right now I am not happy.' I kind of felt like she was just coasting, and she wasn't really willing to make a change for the better." (Tayshia has said she's the one who pushed for therapy and that Josh wasn't interested in working on their issues.) He then admitted that he might have cheated on her "out of spite" but claimed that he "felt terrible" about what happened and soon came clean. "It was an immense amount of guilt on my shoulders for doing what I did, but it also made me realize that I was wasting my time," he said. "And then she eventually — because I did what I did — wanted to put forth the effort. And she did put forth the effort. We went to therapy, but after a few months of therapy, I had kind of come to the conclusion that my heart was not in it anymore and I didn't want to be married to her." He continued by saying that Tayshia's characterization of their divorce — that "the relationship's failure was infidelity and other things that basically didn't have to do with her" — is "a misrepresentation of her character." He concluded by saying he now has "an amazing girlfriend" of nearly a year who's "shown me what it's like to be in a healthy relationship."
