Brad Pitt's new love interest, model Nicole Poturalski, urges IG users to be 'kind' amid 'hateful' comments

Nicole Poturalski, the German model rumored to be dating Brad Pitt, is getting tired of all the negative comments she's received on Instagram. On Friday, the 27-year-old shared a video on her Instagram Story asking for help understanding why people can't keep their "hateful comments" to themselves. "Hey guys, I have been wondering since forever why people leave hateful comments?" she asked in German, translating her words into English in the caption (via JustJared). "Why? What is the benefit? Just in [general] I want to understand the train of thoughts. Because I don't get it. It's just so rude and sad for those commenting," she continued. "And just don't follow people you don't want to see or don't like their content. Easy. So just be nice and kind. Try." The request comes just weeks after she was confronted by a troll who demanded, "why do you hate Brad and Angelina?" At the time, Nicole simply responded, "not hating anyone."

An especially beaming Katy Perry was back at "American Idol" Thursday less than two months after giving birth to Daisy Bloom, her first child with fiance Orlando Bloom. While that does seem like a quick turnaround, the singer headed back to her "Idol" role with plenty of support — including a vote of love and confidence from Orlando's ex-wife, Miranda Kerr. In an Instagram post Thursday, Katy joked around with a cow theme, as she's likely still getting used to a few new things her body's been doing since she welcomed Daisy. Telling fans she's "back to werk @americanidol and it's 🍼udderly🍼 ridiculously MOO-ving already! 🐄," Katy showed off her black and white cow-print (meets Cruella DeVille) getup, which she credited to Christian Siriano. "Not pictured: my pumping breaks 🙃," she joked, adding, "(Shout out to @csiriano for the incredible custom costume 💅🏻✨)." While some users commented on the crafty costume design — with one suggesting Christian design a whole nursing collection — others happily praised one of the first comments in the thread. It was from Miranda, who shares co-parenting duties with Orlando's son, Flynn. "Omg you're amazing!" Miranda gushed to her ex-husband's fiancee in the comments. "Love you 💖," she added.

Yes, Kanye West is still running for president in the states where his petitions to join the race were accepted. And though his true motives remain to be seen — multiple outlets have reported high ranking Republicans helped Kanye's campaign in recent months, seemingly in the interest of drawing votes away from Joe Biden — the rapper's getting some nice branding out of the race, if nothing else. On Thursday, after he promoted "Vote Kanye" and "Kanye 2020 Vision" hats and other merch on Twitter, the Yeezy designer thanked followers for their "support" and shared a black and white typed message that claimed he's brought in $864,980 in merch sales. Fans seemed dubious, though. Responses ranged from questions about the high price of the items (hats are apparently $60 each) to skeptical comments about 'Ye's seemingly conflicted materialism and Christianity. Others simply posted to anyone using the platform that a vote for Kanye ultimately only helps Donald Trump.

Demi Lovato credits an onscreen kiss between Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair with kickstarting her journey to realizing, as she told her parents in 2017, she might "[end] up with a woman." In a conversation with Tan France as part of Facebook Watch's "Coming Out 2020," Demi recalls the moment she understood she was not straight. "It was definitely when I was young and should not have been watching 'Cruel Intentions' but I did, and it was that scene where they made out on the park lawn," she said in a clip published by ET Friday. Cardi B defends Offset amid fan criticism

It may be over between Cardi B and Offset, but the newly single rapper defies anyone to talk smack about her ex, who she's said she left simply because she got "tired of the arguments." Responding to a fan's post, in which Offset was referred to as "a bad man," according to NME, Cardi tweeted (and later deleted): "He a dumba– not a bad man," on Thursday. "Cause out of everybody that tried to steal, finesse me into working with their brand for less he got people coming for me with CORRECT CONTRACTS and never ask for a dollar or benefit like every1 else," she continued. When someone chimed in to say, "We don't like offset sis and it's our right to drag him when we see fit," Cardi pointed out that it is, in fact, her right to defend the father of her 2-year-old daughter, Kulture. "I don't give a [expletive] if you don't like him," she tweeted. "I don't talk to him but you not going to disrespect my child father. I will slap the [expletive] out of you in curtesy [sic] of Kulture. … If he die, go broke, you not the one that's going to raise my kid & you not the 1 who pays for her [expletive]." Carid filed for divorce from the Migos star in September and is seeking joint custody of Kulture.

Tory Lanez's fans troll Megan Thee Stallion after he's charged with shooting her

Rapper Tory Lanez has addressed his recent charges in the shooting that sent Megan Thee Stallion to the hospital, where she had one or more bullets removed from her feet, in July. "[Time] will [tell]," he tweeted with a mix of emojis Friday. "And the truth will come to the light … I have all faith in God to show that … love to all my fans and people that have stayed true to me & know my heart." He added, "a charge is not a conviction," and, "If you have supported me or meg thru this, I genuinely appreciate u." According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office (via CNN), Tory was charged Thursday with "one count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and one count of carrying a loaded, concealed firearm in a vehicle." If convicted of both charges, he could face up to 22 years and eight months in prison, according to CNN. Tory and the "Savage" rapper, who are rumored to have been dating at the time of the incident, reportedly argued before Megan exited the SUV they'd recently left party at Kylie Jenner's house in, prosecutors said in a statement. He's accused of shooting multiple bullets at her feet as she walked away from the car, leaving her severely injured. Megan didn't initially name the shooter but in August, she pointed to Tory, who has denied the allegation. She also shared a graphic image of what happened to her foot during the shooting and has spoken in emotional detail about the experience. Last month, TMZ claimed to have seen a text Tory allegedly sent Megan less than 24 hours after she was shot in which he's quoted as apologizing for something he did. "I know u prolly never gone talk to me again, but I genuinely want u to know I'm sorry from the bottom of my heart," he reportedly told her, adding that he was "just too drunk" that night. Fans of the rappers have since taken sides on social media, most recently, with Tory's supporters trolling Megan in the comments to posts she shared this week regarding two, $10,000 scholarships she's offering to "women of color … pursuing [college] … or post-graduate degrees in any field of study," according to the announcement. "It's people in the commenting supporting domestic violence for me 😫😫🤦🏿‍♀ ," wrote one of Megan's fans. Tory's due to be arraigned on Tuesday.

Mariah Carey says her 9-year-old son was recently 'bullied by a white supremacist'

In recent months, celebs and politicians have begun to share how they're talking to their kids about racism. Mariah Carey joined the discussion on Thursday's "Watch What Happens Live," where she explained how her new memoir, "The Meaning of Mariah Carey," has been a helpful entree into the conversation with her 9-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan, who've already had to deal with racism in their own young lives. "Rocky just got bullied the other day by a white supremacist person that he thought was his friend," Mariah told host Andy Cohen (via People). "It's like, insane. This is the world we live in." It was, of course, also the world Mariah, 50, lived in when she was the twins' age, and the book features her stories of multiple incidents where she was bullied by her peers because of her biracial heritage. "I'm reading chapters to them that are helping to illustrate my encounters with racism, and how they can then have a greater understanding, and ultimately a greater reservoir with which to deal with the situation itself," Mariah explained. One of the chapters she's read to her kids, she said, involved a "traumatic moment" with a group of little girls she counted as friends, making their racially fueled cruelty towards her all the more painful. She said she read that chapter to her daughter, Monroe, so they could talk about it. "I let her hear that and it was really sweet," Mariah recalled, "… she goes, 'Mommy, those girls, they feel so bad now. I bet they wish they could be your friend.'" Mariah's memoir is out now.

Mindy Kaling secretly welcomed a second child last month

Surprise! Mindy Kaling never said publicly she was pregnant this year, but on Thursday's "Late Late Show," she announced she gave birth to a baby boy, Spencer, on Sept. 3. Spencer joins 2-year-old big sister Katherine, who's apparently taking the new addition to the family in stride. "[Katherine] was very ambivalent at first, I would say, to be generous," said Mindy, 41 (via Page Six). "She was really worried about her toys getting taken." When it became clear babies that tiny don't even have the motor skills to steal their siblings' toys, she chilled out. "She's a huge fan, now that she's met him," Mindy said. As for her decision to keep the pregnancy and birth a secret, "The Mindy Project" star explained, "There was so much going on, so much heartbreak in the world that it felt strange to go out of my way to shine a light on some giant health information." While she has not revealed the father of either child, Mindy did share that her best friend, longtime co-star and former boyfriend B.J. Novak is the godfather of both Spencer and Katherine. Asked if B.J. helps guide the little ones' spirituality, Mindy realized B.J.'s not necessarily a godfather in the traditional sense. "It's hard because the concept of a godfather is a Christian thing," she explained. "He's Jewish, my kids are Hindu, so maybe he was not the right person to pick, actually."

Larry David marries girlfriend Ashley Underwood

Congrats are in order for Larry David and his girlfriend of three years, Ashley Underwood. The couple quietly tied the knot in Southern California Wednesday, after meeting in 2017 at Sacha Baron Cohen's birthday party, People reports. Speaking to the New York Times this past spring, Larry, 73, explained that the two "were seated together" at the bash, seemingly in an effort on the part of the birthday boy and his wife, Isla Fisher, to set them up. Ashley was working as a field producer for Sacha's show "Who Is America?" at the time, and is good friends with Isla. It apparently went well from the start. "Much to her surprise I left before dessert," Larry told the Times. "I was doing so well, banter-wise, I didn't want to risk staying too long and blowing the good impression." GQ reported in January that Ashley moved into Larry's home in the Pacific Palisades last year. The couple shares two fur-babies between them — an Australian shepherd puppy named Bernie, as in Sanders, and a cat named Elwood, who Ashley brought with her when she moved in. Larry was previously married to activist Laurie David, with whom he shares daughters Cazzie, 26, and Romy, 24.

How becoming a mom is helping Meghan McCain overcome the grief of losing her dad

New mom Meghan McCain is starting to feel whole again, thanks to the birth of her daughter, Liberty, her first child with husband Ben Domenech. On Thursday, she shared a long and thoughtful Instagram message with followers in which she equated "motherhood" with "euphoria." She went on to say having a child is, "hands down the best thing I have ever done in my entire life, then described Liberty as "a little wildcat ~ beautiful, strong, alert, already so full life and spirit… ," adding, "I only wish I had done this sooner." Meghan also thanked Ben and everyone who's supported her through the pregnancy and in her decision to keep most of the experience private before explaining how Liberty's arrival is helping her heal after the death of her father, Sen. John McCain. "I love our little family and I have never felt so blessed, present and grateful," she wrote. "This is the first time since my Dad passed that the part of my heart that broke off and left with him no longer feels missing."
