In Hollywood, many romances blast off quickly — and dissolve just as fast. Others implode after years and years of wedded bliss. There were a slew of notable high-profile breakups in 2017, including these two. Long-time loves Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor sadly ended things in May 2017 after 17 years of marriage. "With tremendous love and respect for each other, and the 18 years we spent together as a couple, we have made the decision to separate," Ben and Christine said in a statement. Fergie and Josh Duhamel announced on Sept. 14 that they were splitting after eight years of marriage. "With absolute love and respect we decided to separate as a couple earlier this year," the couple said in a joint statement. "To give our family the best opportunity to adjust, we wanted to keep this a private matter before sharing it with the public. We are and will always be united in our support of each other and our family." They are parents to 4-year-old Axl.

After 22 years of marriage, Ewan McGregor and Eve Mavrakis's romance is over. According to People magazine, the duo, who have four daughters together, quietly separated in May, though the split went under the radar for months. On Oct. 23, photos were published of Ewan kissing his "Fargo" costar Mary Elizabeth Winstead in a West London cafe. His new relationship has raised eyebrows after it was reported that Mary Elizabeth and her husband, Riley Stearns, also split in May.

In January, the world learned that Selena Gomez and The Weeknd were dating. But 10 months later, the duo split. "It's been hard for them to come to the realization that this is the direction things were heading, but it's been hard for months," a source told People magazine in October. Just after the split, Selena started spending time with ex Justin Bieber again, and within weeks, they were photographed kissing. The Weeknd also reconnected with an ex: In November, he was spotted visiting ex-girlfriend Bella Hadid's New York City apartment. A source told E! the music star reached out to the model "asking to hang out and catch up, and she decided to see him and see where things go."

In August, Chris Pratt and Anna Faris made the shocking announcement that they had split after eight years of marriage. The two share a son, Jack. "We are sad to announce we are legally separating. We tried hard for a long time, and we're really disappointed," they wrote on social media. "Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward. We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another."

Nearly two years after announcing they'd split after a decade of marriage, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner finally filed for divorce in April. The filing came a month after Ben revealed he'd spent time in rehab for alcohol issues. In July, he went public with new girlfriend Lindsay Shookus, a "Saturday Night Live" producer. Multiple outlets including People and "Entertainment Tonight" reported that the pair's romance started when both were still married to other people, though a source close to Ben insisted their friendship had only recently turned romantic. In November, Jen made it clear she is not ready to date. "I would not have chosen this life for myself or my kids," she said at a Hollywood Foreign Press Association conference where she was promoting her movie "The Tribes of Palos Verdes." "I haven't been on a date and I am not interested in dating. People want to set me up and I am just like, 'No, thank you!'"

In September, the world learned that Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen had split after nearly a decade as a couple. "She's full-time back in L.A. He's in Toronto. They've been on the outs for a couple of months," a source told the mag. Days later, a report surfaced claiming Emma Roberts might have been involved in the breakup. According to an Oct. 10 report from The Blast, Rachel ended things after discovering inappropriate text messages between Emma and Hayden — who just filmed "Little Italy" together.

In November, Us Weekly confirmed that Emma Watson and tech guru William "Mack" Knight split earlier in the year. Us noted that the ultra-private pair, who dated for nearly two years, were last spotted together in late May.

On Feb. 28, reps for Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom announced that the stars were "taking respectful, loving space at this time." But space for the couple, who started dating in January 2016, does not mean that the two aren't still in contact. A source told E! News that they "still text and talk" and are still "cool" with each other. Katy and Orlando were seen together posing for a picture at the Oscars two days before the split was announced. They were also photographed paddleboarding in Santa Barbara, California, together over Labor Day weekend, though as time went on, it was clear they had not reconciled.

Halle Berry and British music producer Alex Da Kid are dunzo after just a few months of dating. The pair went public with their romance in September but by early December, it was over. In Touch reported that Halle was the one who ended it. "Halle broke up with Alex smack in the middle of their romantic getaway in Bora Bora," an insider told the magazine. A different source implied to "Entertainment Tonight," however, that Alex is the one who wasn't into it anymore. "Alex has already moved on," the source told "ET," adding, "It was nothing serious between him and Halle." In mid-December, Halle seemingly commented on the split, posting a photo of a rope in the shape of a heart on her Instagram story captioned, "Done with love."

Audrina Patridge filed for divorce from Corey Bohan in September less than a year after they married in Hawaii. The "The Hills" star alleged she was a victim of domestic violence and emotional abuse (which Corey denied) and was granted a temporary restraining order against the Australian BMX athlete on Sept. 18. In October, they settled the restraining order case but have continued to battle over custody of their toddler daughter, Kirra, as well as Corey's request for spousal support.

It's all over again for Naya Rivera and husband Ryan Dorsey. The "Glee" alum filed for divorce in November just days after she was arrested in West Virginia on domestic battery charges. She allegedly hit her husband during an alcohol-fueled argument over their toddler son, Josey, while they were visiting Ryan's family for the Thanksgiving holiday. The move came just a few months after Naya formally withdrew her first divorce petition — which she filed back in 2016 — because she and Ryan had reconciled.

On Nov. 17, Jennifer Hudson's rep confirmed that the singer-actress and fiance David Otunga, a lawyer-turned-professional wrestler, had split after nearly a decade together. But it wasn't an amicable parting. Jennifer, who's serving as a coach on "The Voice" this season, was granted an order of protection after alleging abuse. According to Jennifer's court filing, she and David, who are battling over custody of son David Jr., actually split in April but continued to live together, albeit in separate bedrooms. David's attorney said the Oscar winner's claims were made to try to gain a custody advantage, as David has been the primary caretaker of their son, 8-year-old David Jr., since Jennifer travels so much for her career. "Mr. Otunga has never abused or harassed Ms. Hudson or their son, and it is unfortunate, especially in today's climate, that she would feel the need to make these false allegations against him," his lawyer's statement read in part.

Jennifer Lawrence and her "Mother!" director, Darren Aronofsky, quietly split in October, according to a Nov. 22 report from "Entertainment Tonight." However, it's said to be an amicable breakup — the pair even sat together at the Governors Awards in Los Angeles on Nov. 11 where they were "friendly" with one another, "ET" reported.

Amber Heard and Tesla and SpaceX mogul Elon Musk ended their relationship in August. The couple started dating in 2016, though only went public in April. "Btw, just to clear up some of the press storm this weekend, although Amber and I did break up, we are still friends, remain close and love one another," Elon wrote on social media. "Long distance relationship when both partners have intense work obligations are always difficult, but who knows what the future holds." In an interview with Rolling Stone published on Nov. 15, he came clean about his heartbreak. "I was really in love, and it hurt bad," he said, also revealing who did the dumping: "Well, she broke up with me more than I broke up with her, I think."

Heidi Klum and her younger boyfriend, art dealer Vito Schnabel, ended their relationship in September after three years of dating. "They're taking time apart right now. Things have been difficult recently, they live on opposite coasts. And it's the start of a school year and Heidi has to concentrate on the kids," a source told People early in the month. A few weeks later, the split was a done deal. "I believe that it is important to take time to pause and reflect," the model-mogul told the magazine.

"Westworld" star Evan Rachel Wood and fiance Zach Villa called it quits in August. The couple (they were also bandmates in Rebel and a Basketcase) announced their engagement in January 2017.

We've seen this before… Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi got engaged on the season finale of "The Bachelor," but five months after he proposed on national TV, the engagement was off. "It's with a great amount of heartbreak for the both us as we have decided to end our engagement," the couple told E! in a statement on Aug. 25. "We gave this relationship our all and we are saddened that we did not get the fairytale ending we hoped for. We will continue to be there for each other no matter what. This hasn't been an easy decision, however, as we part ways, we do so with lots of love and admiration for each other."

News of Scarlett Johansson's split from husband Romain Dauriac was made public in January — the two reportedly quietly separated back in the summer of 2016 after nearly two years of marriage. It was a bumpy ride for a while: Scarlett reportedly "shocked" her ex with a divorce filing in which she asked for residential custody of their then 2-year-old daughter, Rose, in early March, after which Romain's attorney revealed that Scarlett's busy travel schedule was a big source of their conflict. They finally settled their divorce and custody issues in September, a few months after ScarJo made headlines for her new romance with "Saturday Night Live" star Colin Jost.

On Nov. 30, People magazine reported that Rosario Dawson and comedian Eric Andre had called it quits after more than a year as a couple. Rosario and Eric went public with their romance around Valentine's Day.

After Gina Torres was photographed kissing another man in September, she and Laurence Fishburne, who married in 2002, confirmed that they'd quietly split in 2016. "With heavy hearts, Laurence and I quietly separated and began the dissolution of our marriage in the early fall of last year," the "Suits" actress told People. "There are no bad guys here. Only a love story with a different ending than either one of us had expected." She added, "Happily, however, our family remains intact and we will continue to raise our daughter together with love and joy and awe. As well as raise each other up with respect and love and the continued understanding that we're in this together, if not side by side." Laurence formally filed for divorce in November, listing their date of separation as Oct. 14, 2016.

Helen Hunt and her partner of 16 years, Matthew Carnahan, split in August, according to a reports. "The breakup was very messy," a source told In Touch, which broke the news. Helen, the source said, "was convinced Matthew had strayed. She had been suspicious for a long time that something was wrong. But he insisted he didn't betray her." Matthew, a producer, and Helen started dating in 2001. They have a daughter together.

Dixie Chicks singer Natalie Maines and "Heroes" actor Adrian Pasdar are divorcing. She filed in July, citing irreconcilable differences. In September, The Blast reported that the exes had agreed to joint physical and legal custody of their two teenage sons. The site also revealed that Adrian was seeking spousal support.

"The Real Housewives of New York" star Luann De Lesseps filed for divorce from husband Tom D'Agostino on Aug. 3 after just eight months of marriage. "It's with great sadness that Tom & I agreed to divorce. We care for each other very much, hope you respect our privacy during this sad time!" she wrote on Twitter. The divorce came just weeks after reports indicated the two had hit a rough patch (one report even said the two had a physical confrontation during dinner in New York City.) Their divorce was finalized in September.

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" star Shannon Beador and husband David Beador have split after 17 years of marriage. She told her fellow "Housewives" stars on Oct. 27 that she and David separated in September. "It's heartbreaking for me and my daughters that this is the road that had to be taken but it's the only way," Shannon told People magazine. "I felt alone in my marriage. You can do what you can to keep your family together, but you have to have willing parties. You need two people to make a marriage work, and that just wasn't happening in our relationship." In December, Shannon — who revealed in 2015 that David had engaged in an eight-month affair — filed for divorce.

Taylor Lautner and Billie Lourd split after eight months together, a source told People magazine in July 2017. "They aren't together anymore but they are still friendly," the source said. "She's really focused on her work right now." Throughout their romance, they often posted images of each other on Instagram. The two began dating just before Billie's mother, Carrie Fisher, and grandmother, Debbie Reynolds, passed away just one day apart in December 2016. At the time, Taylor called Billie "one of the strongest, most fearless individuals I've ever met. Absolutely beautiful inside and out…"

In September, People reported that "Dancing With The Stars" judge Carrie Ann Inaba had ended her nine-month engagement to Robb Derringer. Rumors of a split surfaced after Carrie was spotted without her ring and after she posted a quote on Instagram that read, "Just when I think I've learned the way to live, life changes."

Casey Affleck's wife, Summer Phoenix, filed for divorce on July 31. She cited "irreconcilable differences" in her petition and asked for spousal support and joint physical and legal custody of their two kids. The filing didn't come as a surprise as the two announced they had separated in March 2016. In the divorce documents, she listed their date of separation as November 2015.

Richard Hatch, the very first winner of the reality competition series "Survivor," is single again. On Dec. 7, TMZ reported that Richard and his husband of 14 years, Emiliano Cabral, had quietly split in October and that Emiliano left Richard for a much younger man. Richard took to Twitter to say, "I'M LOOKING FOR LOVE! If you think I'm the guy for you or for someone you know, please let me know. I prefer to share the journey in partnership, and sadly, my 14-year marriage has ended. Mr. Right will have to be bright enough to be kind. Thanks for your help in finding him."

Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams and New Found Glory guitarist Chad Gilbert took to Instagram on July 1 to announce that they were calling it quits after just 16 months of marriage and nearly a decade as a couple. "Marriage is not for the faint of heart," they wrote in a lengthy joint statement.

Perpetual playboy Leonardo DiCaprio and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model Nina Agdal split in May after a year of dating. A source told E! News, "They remain in touch and remain friends. It's an amicable split, and they're moving forward." Leo was later seen spending time with a handful of young models, while Nina moved on with supermodel Christie Brinkley's son, Jack Brinkley-Cook, over the summer.

Harry Styles and food blogger Tess Ward's romance, which was made public in May, quickly fizzled out. A source told British newspaper The Sun in mid-June, "Harry and Tess haven't seen each other for a number of weeks. They're both constantly traveling the world." She is said to have gotten back together with an ex-boyfriend after parting ways with Harry, who, unsurprisingly, moved on with another model, Camille Rowe, over the summer.

La La Anthony and Carmelo Anthony separated in April after gossip columns claimed that the NBA star had been unfaithful and impregnated another woman — but for a while it seemed that Carmelo was hanging on and trying to make it work. On June 25, the NBA player shared a lovey-dovey birthday Instagram post with La La, writing, "I look at you on this birthday, and it is hard to believe another year has passed. You are as beautiful now as ever before!!! Sending Birthday wishes to MY EARTH @lala Love YOU#AveryPOWERFUlday6/25." The couple have a son, Kiyan. "[Carmelo] insists La La's the only woman for him and has no plans to be with anyone else," TMZ reported. In June, "Power" actress La La told talk show host Wendy Williams she wasn't ready to file for divorce quite yet. "Not right now," she said, adding, "You know, marriages are tough… We all know that. It's filled with ups and downs. We are just going through a time right now."

We were really sad about this one: Chris Evans and Jenny Slate parted ways in February after less than a year of dating. In March, Jenny opened up about their split to Vulture and had nothing but nice things to say about her ex. "Chris is truly one of the kindest people I've ever met, to the point where sometimes I would look at him and it would kind of break my heart," she said, comparing him to "primary colors. He has beautiful, big, strong emotions, and he's really sure of them. It's just wonderful to be around. His heart is probably golden-colored, if you could paint it." In October, Chris and Jenny sparked reconciliation rumors after they were seen having dinner together in Atlanta on two occasions, and in November, People magazine confirmed that the pair were indeed back together.

Kylie Jenner and Tyga's tumultuous relationship officially came to an end sometime in early 2017. The exes had been on-and-off since 2011 and their hot-and-cold relationship had been fraught with reports of Tyga's alleged infidelities. By April, Kylie had already moved on with another rapper, Travis Scott. And in September, widespread reports revealed she was pregnant with his child.

Elle Macpherson split from her billionaire husband, Jeffrey Soffer, in June, sources confirmed to Page Six. "She has left their house at Indian Creek in Miami with her kids and is looking for her own house in Miami," a source said. "He has been linked to some other women, but insists they are just friends." The couple, who married in 2013, had a long history of being on-again, off-again.

Olivia Munn and Aaron Rodgers ended their three-year romance in April. The "Predator" actress and the Green Bay Packers quarterback's split was reportedly a long time coming. "Their issues have been going on forever," a source told Us Weekly.

Heather Graham and producer Tommy Alastra, who's previously romanced January Jones, called it quits in July after more than a year as a couple. They were were first linked in the summer of 2016.

Paris Jackson called it quits with boyfriend Michael Snoddy in February after less than a year of dating. A source told Us Weekly, "Paris ended things with Michael."

People magazine confirmed in May that "Chicago Med" actress Torrey DeVitto and "Dancing With the Stars" pro Artem Chigvintsev broke up after a year of dating. "It happened about a month ago," said the source, adding that the duo met on the dating app Raya.

Malika Haqq split from "Jersey Shore" alum Ronnie Ortiz-Magro in February after a few months of dating. The two met filming the show "Famously Single" in December 2016. Malika, who's best friends with Khloe Kardashian, told People, "[Ronnie's] love language is very aggressive. It's verbally aggressive, it's physically aggressive. It's just the way he expresses himself."

Us Weekly confirmed in March that Jaden Smith and his model girlfriend, Sarah Snyder, broke up. Their young love started in early 2015. "They had been on the rocks for a while… and stopped having shared interests," a source told Us. Jaden quickly moved on with budding actress Odessa Adlon, the daughter of actress Pamela Adlon.

In April, Nelly Furtado admitted she'd quietly split from husband Demacio Castellon after eight years of marriage. During an appearance on ITV's "Loose Women," Nelly said, "I am single now. Someone here needs to update my Wikipedia — it's not helping my dating life!" Turns out they called it quits in the summer of 2016.

"True Detective" actress Leven Rambin and former "True Blood" actor Jim Parrack split in March after less than two years of marriage.

"Fuller House" actress Jodie Sweetin and Justin Hodak, who got engaged in January 2016 after two years together, split in March — and drama followed after Justin repeatedly violated a restraining order to stay away from her. On May 5, he was sentenced to more than six years in prison for possession of a deadly weapon and falsifying evidence by threatening a witness with force or implied force, though he only served a small fraction of that. When he was released over the summer, Jodie reportedly hired 24/7 security.

It's over (again) for for "Teen Mom" star Farrah Abraham and her boyfriend, Simon Saran. She told Us Weekly on April 4, "Status is single, and I'm super-happy to be Farrah again. I just think I deserve somebody who is… like myself and maybe that's an entrepreneur or whatever."

Ashley Olsen and financier Richard Sachs called it quits in March after five months of dating. "Ashley and Richard broke up," an insider told Us Weekly. "She wants to focus on her clothing line right now. They're still friends and hang out."

Just three months after welcoming son Eissa in January, news broke that Janet Jackson and her billionaire husband, Wissam al Mana, had split. "Sadly, Janet and Wissam have decided that it wasn't working and to go their separate ways," a source told the Daily Mail at the time. Reports emerged revealing that Janet left him in part because of a culture clash — she was raised in the Jehovah's Witness faith while he was a practicing Muslim. Her brother has also claimed that Janet was verbally abused by Wissam, who has strongly denied the allegations. After facing off in a London courtroom in June, the two have continued to battle over custody and a divorce settlement.

Amy Schumer and Ben Hanisch called it quits in May after a year and a half together. "Amy and Ben have ended their relationship after thoughtful consideration and remain friends," a rep for the actress told People on May 16. Prior to the split, Amy and Ben, who met on a dating app, spoke openly about their future together. Ben had called her "the love of my life." Just a few weeks before they announced the split, Amy was asked if she and Ben had spoken about marriage. "We are talking about today. I love the idea of committing to someone and making that choice and I want to have a family but right now," she told Howard Stern, "we are not in talks." In November, the New York Post reported that the comedian had since moved on with chef Chris Fischer.

Demi Lovato and MMA fighter Guilherme "Bomba" Vasconcelos split in May, barely five months after they went public with their romance. "It wasn't a dramatic split," a source told People magazine. "Bomba is a good guy, but the relationship just ran its course." She's since been linked to other people including DJ Lauren Abedini and Ryan Phillippe.

Jesse Williams and his wife of nearly five years, Aryn Drake-Lee Williams, filed for divorce in April 2017, citing "irreconcilable differences." The couple had been together for more than a decade. The split came as a shock, as did ensuing rumors claiming he'd been spending time with Minka Kelly (both Jesse and Minka have denied cheating reports). The "Grey's Anatomy" star and Aryn were embroiled in a bitter, headline-making custody battle for months. In November, they reached an agreement that gives him additional time with their two young children.

This one has a happy ending: "Real Housewives of Miami" alum Larsa Pippen and NBA icon Scottie Pippen first split in October 2016 when Scottie filed for divorce, then reconciled in February. Alas, in April, reports surfaced that the divorce between the exes was back on — although they were said to be on good terms. Those terms must have been really good, because in November, Scottie's attorney told the Chicago Tribune the parents of four were officially back on. "The dissolution of marriage action has been dismissed and the parties have reconciled," his attorney said.

On Nov. 30, Us Weekly revealed that "Rick and Morty" star Spencer Grammer's husband of six years, James Hesketh, had filed for divorce. He cited irreconcilable differences in court papers and noted that he and the actress, whose father is Kelsey Grammer, are hoping to resolve their property and custody issues — they have a 6-year-old son, Emmett — in mediation.

Another Bachelor Nation couple bit the dust in 2017: Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell, who got engaged on the Season 20 finale of "The Bachelor" in 2016. On May 15, they announced that they had pulled the plug on their romance. "It is with heavy hearts that we announce our decision to go our separate ways," they told People in a statement. "We feel fortunate for the time we had together, and will remain friends with much love and respect for one another. We wish nothing but the best for each other, and ask for your support and understanding at this time." She's since moved on with real estate investor Devin Antin. (They met on Tinder!)

Billy Bush and Sydney Davis separated in September. His rep confirmed the news in a statement to Us Weekly on Sept. 19, saying, "After almost 20 years of marriage, they have separated for the moment to evaluate their life together. They love each other and their children deeply and are committed to a bright future." But on Dec. 6, Page Six TV reported that the pair, who have three daughters, were trying to make things work again. "They are trying to reconcile and it seems like they're making progress," said a source. "They're working on it."

On May 15, Elle King revealed on Instagram that she and Andrew Ferguson — who was believed to be her fiance — had actually secretly married in early 2016. They'd planned to have a big wedding ceremony in April 2017. But around that same time, Elle revealed that she had "skipped out" on the wedding and that they had split. Still, despite it all, she said she loved him. "He is the greatest love of my life. He is my best friend. As we separate, and attempt to find our footing through life, all I can hope for us is that we both find happiness within ourselves. I love you," she wrote in that same May 15 Instagram post. "You'll always have my heart. You'll always be my first husband." A few days after she posted that message, it was revealed that Andrew had been arrested for domestic violence on April 23. Elle told police he threatened to kill her and grabbed her by the throat. He claimed he threw his wife to stop her from hitting her head on a wall. She didn't press charges.

It was reported in May 2017 that soap star Antonio Sabato Jr. and his wife of five years, Cheryl Moana Marie Nunes, had split. In divorce documents, she alleged that he was a drug abuser and launched a bid for sole custody of their young son. He readily admitted he's previously sought treatment for an addiction to sleeping pills, but denied her other claims and pushed for joint custody. It was bad timing for the former soap star and mode: A week before the divorce news was made public, he'd announced his intentions to run for Congress in California. His campaign never materialized.

Singer-actress Jill Scott has ended her marriage to Mike Dobson just 18 months after they wed. In November, Bossip reported that Jill filed for divorce in September. In her filing, she cited "irreconcilable differences" and, curiously, "inappropriate marital conduct that such further cohabitation would be unsafe and improper." The couple have a prenup in place. Mike told Bossip that he was blindsided by the news and lashed out at Jill. "She's an evil woman. I'm telling you. It's like what Jill Scott wants, Jill Scott gets. She's got issues," he said. "There's no men in that family, there's only women. And when a man comes in, it's like a challenge."

People magazine reported on Nov. 17 that "Saturday Night Live" alum Bill Hader and wife Maggie Carey, a writer and director, quietly separated in July. After 11 years of marriage, they are now moving forward with a divorce. They have three daughters: Hannah, 8, Harper, 5, and Hayley, 3.

"Pretty Little liars" actress Lucy Hale broke it off with her musician boyfriend Anthony Kalabretta after two years of dating. A source told "Entertainment Tonight" in May, "She really loved him. She became a homebody when they were dating. They stayed in a lot."

"The Real Housewives of Miami" stars Joanna Krupa and Romain Zago separated in December 2016, but the news wasn't reported until May 2017. "They just grew apart," a source told E! The couple were often seen having disagreements during the Bravo show's three-year run. They even called off their engagement once in 2012 but reconciled and eventually tied the knot in June 2013. Their divorce was finalized in August — and it couldn't have been more amicable. TMZ reported that neither side asked for spousal support and that they're splitting their assets evenly. Joanna reportedly gets the house in Los Angeles, where she's based. Romain, meanwhile, gets to keep the house in Miami, where he's based. And Romain gets visitation with their dogs.

David Schwimmer and Zoe Buckman announced on April 5 that they were ending their seven-year marriage. "It is with great love, respect and friendship that we have decided to take some time apart while we determine the future of our relationship," they said in a statement. "Our priority is, of course, our daughter's happiness and well being during this challenging time, and so we ask for your support and respect for our privacy as we continue to raise her together and navigate this new chapter for our family."

Victoria's Secret model Adriana Lima and New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman broke up shortly after the Oscars, according to E! News. Their romance started in the summer of 2016. They were briefly linked again after being photographed together at a Met Gala afterparty in May, but by the summer, she'd moved on with Turkish writer Metin Hara.

Just three months after they started dating, Minka Kelly and Josh Radnor called it quits. Multiple sources confirmed to Us Weekly that the "Friday Nights Lights" alum and the "How I Met Your Mother" actor had been enjoying a short-lived romance that began in the fall of 2016. Shortly before they started seeing each other, Minka was photographed with ex Wilmer Valderrama, whom she'd previously dated in 2012. She's also been linked to Jesse Williams in the wake of his divorce news.

In March, it was revealed that "The Young and the Restless" actors Amelia Heinle and Thad Luckinbill were divorcing after 10 years of marriage. The couple met on the daytime soap where they once played husband and wife.

In February, it was revealed that former Yankees player Alex Rodriguez and Silicon Valley CEO Anne Wojcicki had split a few months earlier after dating for less than a year. A source told Page Six that the two were an "unusual couple, from very different backgrounds, but they are both smart business people — but perhaps in the end, they were a little too different." In this case, the old "opposites attract" adage only proved true for so long. A-Rod soon moved on with Jennifer Lopez.

Judge Joe Brown and Deborah Herron finalized their divorce in February. According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Joe kept a large bulk of their shared possessions (Range Rover, Porsche, a home in Tennessee) and will pay Deborah $2,219 a month in spousal support. She kept the spin bike, stair climber and Bowflex. Sounds fair, right?!

The never-ending saga that was Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna finally ended in 2017. After months of breaking up and making up, they finally called it quits over the summer — and then Rob lost it. He took to social media on July 5 and in an epic tirade accused her of cheating, drug use, only being with him to get back at another ex, Tyga, and lying about how she lost weight after giving birth to daughter Dream in 2016 (he says he paid $100,000 for her plastic surgery procedures). He also posted several graphic naked pictures of her on Instagram and Twitter, which were taken down by the social media sites. A few days later, Chyna was granted a restraining order against Rob and threatened to pursue a revenge porn case against him. A few months later, they both filed lawsuits against one another. So the saga continues…

Zoey Deutch and boyfriend Avan Jogia amicably ended things after more than five years together. E! News reported on Jan. 13 that while the reason for the split remains unknown, they still "remain friends."

"Girls" beauty Jemima Kirke and her husband, former lawyer Michael Mosberg, have called it quits after seven years of marriage. Us Weekly confirmed on Jan. 12 that the couple, who tied the knot in 2009, separated in the summer of 2016. The exes met in rehab and are parents to Rafaella and Memphis.

Amber Rose and Val Chmerkovskiy were hot and heavy for five months, but alas, it was not a relationship written in the stars. The pair, who met on Season 23 of "Dancing With the Stars" when Amber was partnered with Val's brother, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, split in February. It wasn't a messy breakup. She took to her Instagram to explain, "[Val] and I broke up due to our own personal reasons but we still care about each other tremendously and we love each other's families even more."

It was over for Spice Girls alum Melanie Brown and her husband of nearly 10 years, Stephen Belafonte, in early 2017. Mel filed for divorce in March and soon alleged that her ex had not only been emotionally and physically abusive but had put her in sexually compromising positions for years. She also alleged that he got the family nanny pregnant. (He's denied all her claims.) After months of bitter feuding over money and custody of their daughter, Mel and Stephen settled the domestic violence portion of their case in November.

Courtney Stodden and Doug Hutchison called it quits once again in February. The former teen bride-turned-reality star confirmed reports about their most recent breakup, saying, "Unfortunately, they're true." Courtney and Doug — who's 35 years her senior — first made headlines when they married in 2011 when she was just 16 years old.

Kylie Minogue took to Instagram on Feb. 3 to confirm that she and fiance Joshua Sasse had called off their romance. The Aussie popstar met the British actor in 2015 and they became engaged in February 2016.

There's no more love for Jane Fonda and longtime beau Richard Perry. On Jan. 24, Richard confirmed the split to Page Six, saying of breakup reports, "That's true," adding, "we are still very close." The exes met in 2009 and began dating shortly after.

"Glee" actress Lauren Potter and childhood friend-turned-boyfriend Timothy Spear are no longer engaged. In February, People magazine reported that Timothy had called off their engagement over the Christmas 2016 holidays.

Boo is single and ready to mingle. "Orange Is the New Black" star Lea DeLaria took to Instagram on Jan. 12 to confirm that she was no longer engaged to Chelsea Fairless. She captioned the photo, "We were happy together for four years and will remain in each other's lives. In fact, we look forward to finding new ways to torture each other." Glad to know Lea has not lost her sense of humor despite the breakup!

On June 10, TMZ reported that "Entourage" star Kevin Dillon's wife, Jane Stuart, filed for divorce in July 2016 after 10 years of marriage. They ended up settling before going to trial. The exes share a daughter, Ava.

Tameka "Tiny" Harris filed for divorce in April from her husband, rapper T.I. She had initially filed for divorce in December 2016, but never served T.I. with the papers. The "T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle" stars married in 2010 and share three children together: King, Major Philant, and Heiress Diana.

"Flip or Flop" star Christina El Moussa — who split from co-star Tarek El Moussa in 2016 — is single again after ending three dating relationships in 2017. Christina was seeing contractor Gary Anderson from mid-2016 until they broke up in February. A spring fling with hockey player Nate Thomas (pictured) that followed ended in April, "Entertainment Tonight" reported. In June, news of Christina's romance with retired Orange County, California, car dealership owner Doug Spedding made headlines, but that brief romance ended in October. According to In Touch, Christina called things off after she learned Doug was seeing an ex-girlfriend behind her back and had returned to using drugs (he faced a drug possession charge in 2011). "Christina encouraged him to go back to rehab," a source told the magazine.

"Bachelor in Paradise" stars Amanda Stanton and Josh Murray called it quits in March. They had broken up in January, but reconciled for two months before ending things again. Josh's personal assistant Hayley Watts told E! News, "On March 13, Josh had an appearance in Los Angeles for the ['Bachelor'] finale of Nick's season. Josh and Amanda got into a big argument that night, and she ended up taking his things from their shared apartment and putting them out in the hallway. I had to go retrieve them for Josh." Drama! Amanda later briefly dated another Bachelor Nation alum, Robby Hayes, when they appeared on "Bachelor in Paradise" over the summer.

"Basketball Wives" star Evelyn Lozada and ex-baseball star Carl Crawford, who got engaged in 2013, broke up this year, TMZ reported on Aug. 10. Evelyn's rep said the couple actually split back in February after she got suspicious about how faithful he'd been. According to TMZ, she's planning to keep her 14.5-carat diamond engagement ring, which is reportedly valued at $1.4 million.

Talk about a quick union! Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi of "Shahs of Sunset" fame and longtime boyfriend Shalom Yeroushalmi got engaged in December 2016, married in January and separated in March. "During the past few weeks, certain facts have come to GG's attention that have made her realize her marriage can no longer continue, and, in fact, should never have happened," the reality star's rep told E! News. GG filed for divorce in May. But by September, they were back together, E! News reported — though taking it slow. "I'm just dating my husband again," GG said on "Watch What Happens Live" not long after reconciliation reports surfaced.

After four years of on-and-off dating, The CW stars Paul Wesley and Phoebe Tonkin ended their relationship again. Us Weekly reported that after splitting in March and reconciling in April, the actors called it quits for good in October. They first starting dating in September 2013 after meeting on the set of "The Vampire Diaries."

After four years of marriage, it's over for Olympic ice skater-turned-sports commentator Michelle Kwan and husband Clay Pell. Clay, a lawyer, military officer and former director for strategic planning on the White House National Security staff, filed for divorce in March. "It is with deep regret that I share that Michelle and my marriage is coming to an end," he said in a statement to E! News. "This is a sad and difficult turn of events for our family. I love Michelle, and wish her the very best as her life takes her in a new direction."

On May 4, it was revealed that Matthew Kaplan had filed for divorce from "The Originals" actress Claire Holt, citing "irreconcilable differences," on April 27 — just one day before he and the Australian actress would have marked their one-year wedding anniversary. In December, she announced her engagement to real estate exec Andrew Joblon.

Elden Henson, who plays Foggy Nelson on Netflix's "Daredevil," filed for divorce from his wife of two years, Kira Sternbach, this year. The "Mighty Ducks" alum listed Feb. 16, 2016, as the date of separation and asked for joint custody of their toddler son.

"Office Space" alum Gary Cole and his wife of 25 years, actress Teddi Siddall, have called it quits. According to a June 19 report from TMZ, Teddi filed for divorce in June and listed Feb. 8, 2015, as their separation date. She's asking for spousal support and adult child support for their autistic daughter.

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." actress Chloe Bennet and "Walking Dead" and "One Tree Hill" alum Austin Nichols ended their relationship this summer after almost four years of dating. It soon emerged that Chloe had quickly moved on. She was photographed kissing internet personality Logan Paul while on vacation in Hawaii over the Fourth of July holiday.

Alexander Skarsgard and Alexa Chung split earlier this year after two years of dating, E! News reported on July 14. "No one cheated on anyone," a source told E! of the Swedish actor and the British model-designer and TV personality. "It was a clean breakup that was caused by busy schedules and distance. They really did love each other and were pretty serious. They still have respect for each other."

Ellen Page was photographed kissing Emma Portner — a Broadway Dance Center instructor who starred in Justin Bieber's "Life Is Worth Living" video — outside Café Gratitude in Los Angeles in July. Which made it clear that she and artist Samantha Thomas (pictured), her girlfriend since 2015 (with whom she was last photographed in February) had split.

"Hey Monday" singer and "The Voice" winner Cassadee Pope and All Time Low drummer Rian Dawson split after seven years together, their rep confirmed on July 12. "They have amicably ended their relationship, but remain friends, supportive of each other's careers, and maintain the utmost respect for one another," their rep told NashvilleGab.com.

After a year and a half of dating, Pauly D and Aubrey O'Day ended their relationship this summer. The pair, who met on the first season of E!'s "Famously Single," went public with their romance in early 2016. But on July 25, E! reported that they'd split for good. "Pauly is the one that broke up with Aubrey," said an insider. "She was pressuring him to get a ring, and he was not there yet."

Just days after Hollywood producing mogul Harvey Weinstein made headlines following accusations of sexual misconduct, his wife — Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman — left him after a decade of marriage. "My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain because of these unforgivable actions. I have chosen to leave my husband," she told People on Oct. 10.

Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs, who got engaged in 2015, broke up after three years together, it was revealed in October. "Rob is tired of it, has called off their engagement and told friends they have split," a source told The Sun. "With so much history between them, though, there are still strong feelings there. It's a difficult situation but things have become tough between them for some time and they both know they were no longer working as a couple."

Page Six reported on Oct. 2 that model-mogul Tyra Banks and Norwegian photographer Erik Asla had ended their five-year relationship. "It came drama-free and they're co-parenting their young son [York]," said a source, adding that the exes were on friendly terms. They're so friendly, in fact, that Erik was slated to shoot the promo for the opening credits of the next season of Tyra's show, "America's Next Top Model."

In September, it was revealed that "Southern Charm" fan favorites Craig Conover and Naomie Olindo had ended their three-year relationship. According to E! News, a fan messaged Naomie on Instagram and asked if she and Craig were still a couple, to which the Bravo reality star responded, "Unfortunately we are not, But we are still great friends."

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" star Kelly Dodd and her husband of 11 years, Michael Dodd, have called it quits. The reality star revealed in September that they'd separated. "Our marriage is over, I'm out of there! We've had problems for years and I've had enough, I'm done with our marriage," she told DailyMail.com. (They'd previously split in 2012 but later reconciled.) On the "RHOC" Season 12 reunion that aired in November, she revealed she'd moved out and into a new home and had initiated divorce proceedings.

"Southern Charm" star Danni Baird called off her engagement to entrepreneur Todd Baldree two weeks before their wedding, DailyMail.com reported in August. The pair, who'd been engaged since July 2016, "mutually decided to end it," said a source.

Reality star Savannah Chrisley split with basketball player Luke Kennard in August. She told E! News, "The last 4 months I've been dating Luke have been great but as a young woman of faith I made the decision that with where Luke and I both are in our careers, it was best to part as friends rather than deal with the pressures of wondering if you are the only one." The couple went public with their relationship in June during the NBA draft. Savannah was briefly linked to basketball star Chandler Parsons earlier in the year and split with country singer Blaire Hanks, her boyfriend of two years, in January.

In August, Us Weekly reported that "Modern Family" star Sarah Hyland had split with boyfriend Dominic Sherwood after two years of dating. They'd met in 2014 while they were filming the movie "Vampire Academy." In October, Sarah went public with a new man, Wells Adams of "The Bachelorette" fame.

In August, "Vanderpump Rules" star Stassi Schroeder revealed in a social media post that boyfriend Patrick Meagher dumped her on their fourth anniversary. She still went on an anniversary trip that they'd planned, bringing a friend instead. "Broken up with on our anniversary after I planned a trip for us to Mexico. Call me Carrie Bradshaw," the reality star tweeted. The couple had been in a long-distance relationship: Patrick was based in New York and Stassi lived in Los Angeles.

After a year of on-and-off dating — though multiple outlets reported that they were never exclusive — Kendall Jenner and rapper ASAP Rocky cooled things off late this summer. She's since moved on with NBA star Blake Griffin.

Following a heartfelt blog post in which he came out as bisexual, news broke on Aug. 6 revealing Aaron Carter and girlfriend Madison Parker had split just days before his big reveal. On Aug. 9, Aaron told "The Bert Show" that his sexuality was a factor in the breakup. "I had discussed it with my ex-girlfriend, and she didn't really understand it. She didn't want [to]," he explained. "And that was it. So we left it mutual and parted ways."

On Nov. 21, Jennie Garth's rep confirmed to Us Weekly that the actress and husband Dave Abrams, whom she married in 2015, are taking time apart and working on their marriage. A source added, "They are still trying to make it work, but they haven't been living together. They love each other, but like every marriage, it takes work. Jennie is taking the time to focus on her girls and herself." Reports that the actors' marriage was in trouble emerged after Jennie was spotted without her ring.

In November, "Married at First Sight" Season 5 couple Nate Duhon and Sheila Downs confirmed that they've split. Both took to social media to address their breakup, with Nate, who said he'd already filed for divorce, insisting infidelity was not a reason. Sheila, however, countered that "there were women throughout our ENTIRE marriage."

People magazine reported on Nov. 7 that Olympic skier (and Tiger Woods ex) Linsdey Vonn and her boyfriend, NFL assistant coach Kenan Smith, had split after a year of dating. "Unfortunately, their busy schedules ultimately took a toll on the relationship," one of Lindsey's friends told the magazine. "It was amicable and they are still friends. Lindsey is laser-focused on her training for the upcoming Olympics and is leaving the country for several months to start competing."

That was fast! After marrying in April, former NFL star Kerry Rhodes and Australian actress Nicky Whelan called it quits just six months later. On Nov. 3, TMZ reported that the couple had filed divorce papers together and that both gave up their claims to spousal support, seemingly ensuring a smooth split.
