"Noooo. … Just no," the "Little Women" star reportedly fired back when The Telegraph asked her to comment on their relationship status in late 2019. Say it ain't so! Us Weekly reported on Jan. 14 that, according to a source, Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler "are officially broken up" and that the actress "has been telling those close to her about their breakup." The couple of nearly a decade sparked split speculation when they celebrated the holidays separately. Austin was also noticeably absent when the former "High School Musical" star turned 31 on Dec. 14. On Jan. 15, E! News reported that, according to a source, the duo split because they're "shooting on two different continents and it's a matter of distance." Said the source, "There is no bad blood at all, and they have a lot of respect for each other." According to a second insider, although the pair "are split for now," they're "going to see what happens." Added the second source, "They have such a history and deep connection they could find their way back to one another."

Page Six reported on Jan. 14 that, according to a source, Pete Davidson's whirlwind romance with Kaia Gerber has come to an end: "It looks like Pete and Kaia are over. It got very overwhelming for Kaia. Pete has a certain M.O. and he's very intense to his girlfriends. Kaia is only 18 and it's a lot to deal with," said the source. A day earlier, E! News reported that, according to a source, the 26-year-old "Saturday Night Live" star is "taking a break [from the relationship] to work on his mental health." According to a second insider, he and Kaia "haven't had a lot of contact" since late 2019, when he entered a program to help him deal with his mental health issues. According to the source, the teen model "doesn't know if she wants to continue in their relationship" because she "wasn't comfortable with what she saw and doesn't know if she can handle it." Continued the insider, "What she saw happen with Pete was very concerning and scary for her. … She cares about Pete and wants him to get better. But their future is very much up in the air." According to a third source, Pete "understands" how Kaia feels and "knows he needs to focus on his mental health." The third insider added that there's "no bad blood between the two."
Channing Tatum and Jessie J sparked reconciliation rumors when they were seen shopping for children's furniture at a Restoration Hardware in Los Angeles on Jan. 12. "They were both dressed down in sweats and trying to be low-key," a spy told E! News. "No PDA but both were in great moods and together the whole time while giving their opinions on different items." According to an InTouch source, the duo, who reportedly split in late 2019, were joined by the actor's daughter, Everly, during the shopping trip. "They looked like a really cute family," said the onlooker.
It's official! During a Jan. 13 interview with Us Weekly, Allison Janney confirmed the late-2019 rumors that her "Mom" co-star Anna Faris is engaged to cinematographer Michael Barrett. "I know she's been engaged for a long time," she said. "I kept it very quiet, I'll have you know! So I celebrated with them a long time ago." Continued the Oscar-winning actress, "I didn't know he was going to propose, but I saw the ring one day. I went into her room to work on lines [for the show], and then I was like, 'What is that ring on your finger?' … I think she was waiting for everyone to notice. 'Oh, that's it,' and then … yeah, it was fun."
Us Weekly reported on Jan. 14 that, according to a source, Jessica Biel is "still upset" with husband Justin Timberlake over his late-2019 hand-holding scandal. "He has been making big promises and not sticking to them as much as she thinks he can and should," the source said. "He promised that he would be more involved with their family and she doesn't feel like he's doing that." A second source, however, maintained that the couple "are not in a tense place at all" following the November scandal, during which the singer-actor was photographed appearing touchy-feely with "Raising Dion" star Alisha Wainwright — who's playing his love interest in the upcoming sports drama "Palmer" — during a night out in New Orleans.
Sienna Miller sparked speculation that she and her boyfriend of a little more than a year, Lucas Zwirner, are engaged by sporting the same massive diamond sparkler several times over the course of the first half of January. (See it here.) The ring was noticeably absent when the actress walked the red carpet at the 2020 Golden Globes on Jan. 5.
She said, she said! On Jan. 9, Us Weekly shed some light — from two conflicting sources — on the drama between Denise Richards and Brandi Glanville. According to one source, the trouble started when the subject of threesomes came up at a dinner party and Brandi told some of her "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" co-stars that she "hooked up with Denise in the past." Said the insider, "[Brandi] also says she and Denise had a threesome with someone. Denise has only met Brandi one time prior and it was in a social setting. Denise has never been intimate with Brandi, ever." The source, who called Brandi's allegations "blatantly false lies," went on to say that Denise and her husband, Aaron Phypers, are "100 percent monogamous" and "don't have [an] open marriage." Concluded the first insider, "Brandi needs to provide proof that she hooked up with Denise. Text messages, dates, specifics." According to Us Weekly's second source, Brandi "never said that" Denise or her husband pursued a threesome with her — or that they had a threesome with anyone. Rather, Brandi "said they were trying to have a threesome with someone but she didn't say it was with her." According to the second insider, Brandi claims that she and Denise "hooked up" sans a third party. "They've hooked up on more than one occasion. Denise was not married to Aaron when they first hooked up. Another time Brandi was under the impression that they had some openness to Denise and Aaron's relationship and that Aaron was aware of what was going on," said the second source, adding that Brandi does, in fact, have the proof to backup her claims. On Jan. 14, Brandi seemingly addressed the rumors on Twitter, writing that there is "a huge difference between hooking up with someone a couple of times and having a romantic relationship with someone." She also tweeted about having "receipts" and captioned a photo of herself, "When you want to respond but are not 'allowed' to…"
Is Porsha Williams' fiancé, Dennis McKinley, stepping out on her again? That's the question many people asked on Jan. 9 when Radar Online published a video of the entrepreneur grabbing a late-night bite with four young women at an Atlanta diner in the wee hours (4 a.m., to be exact!) of Jan. 4. "He came in with four beautiful women," said a spy. "Porsha was not with him. Dennis was the only man in the group and all of the women were flirting with him. … It was like he was on a date with all of them." According to the onlooker, one of the women "had her head on his shoulder." Another woman was overheard saying she met Dennis when he "slid into her DMs" on Instagram. He reportedly picked up the tab for the meal before the group left in the same black Escalade. After the eyebrow-raising video hit the Internet, Dennis seemingly addressed the scandal on his Instagram Story, posting, "I can't eat?" Porsha, meanwhile, has yet to publicly address the clip, though she captioned an Instagram slideshow of photos of herself vacationing in Jamaica in early January, "Nothing will stop my happy 2020!" Interestingly, she deactivated comments on the pics.
During a Jan. 13 interview with Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM radio show, "Radio Andy," Charlie Hunnam said he's "sort of indifferent" to the idea of marrying his girlfriend of more than 13 years, jewelry designer Morgana McNelis. "She does not say the same," he said. "She's very eager to get married. Yeah, so I'll do it because it's important to her, but I don't have any great romantic feelings towards it."
There's a new woman in Amber Heard's life: The actress-activist was caught on camera kissing cinematographer Bianca Butti outside a hotel in Palm Springs, California, on Jan. 12. (See photos here.) It's unclear how long the two women have been an item.
Millie Bobby Brown is reportedly dating Joseph Robinson, the 17-year-old son of British rugby star Jason Robinson. According to multiple media outlets, Joseph has recently shared PDA-packed photos of himself and the 15-year-old "Stranger Things" star on both Snapchat and his Instagram Story. "Ly x" — or "love you" — he wrote across a Snapchat mirror selfie that a Millie fan account shared on Instagram in mid-January. In November, the actress was on hand during the Robinsons' family vacation in the Maldives. "Great time in the Maldives with family and friends," Joseph captioned a slideshow of pictures from the trip, including a group photo in which Millie can be seen. It's unclear when exactly they started seeing each other.
Us Weekly reported on Jan. 15 that Halsey and Evan Peters — who were first linked last summer — are living together already. According to a source, the singer and the "American Horror Story" star are "both weird in the same ways, and his friends "think they're the perfect duo." Us Weekly reported on Jan. 14 that, according to a source, Emma Roberts and her boyfriend of nearly a year, Garrett Hedlund, are "having fun and enjoying each other" but aren't "talking an engagement or marriage at the moment." Said the source, "They like hanging out and going out together, and their relationship is more fun than serious."
People magazine reported on Jan. 13 that, according to a source, Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenel are giving their relationship another shot. "Thomas and Kathryn have been spending a lot of time together. They're on really good terms. It started with co-parenting, but it quickly grew into something more," said the source. "She feels comfortable with him again, and they've both kind of tossed aside any other relationships they had for each other. There's that spark, and they're letting themselves explore it right now. … It's not like they've defined their relationship that they're back together right this second, but that's very much what's happening. The thing with them is, this all can change in two days. That's how they are. It's always so up and down. Right now it's up and in a very good place." The reconciliation comes as a surprise considering the "Southern Charm" stars spent the past few years feuding over custody of their two children. "They've always still loved each other, no matter what they were going through. They have this very magnetic relationship," continued the source. "It's like they're drawn to each other. Whenever they're in a room, the way they look at each other, they've always had this crazy love." Thomas, however, painted a slightly different picture of his relationship with his off-and-on love while engaging with a fan on Twitter: "We're doing some things together because it makes the kids very happy to see us getting along. And in this matter, our interests are perfectly aligned," he tweeted on Jan. 13.
During a Jan. 14 interview with Us Weekly, Thomas Ravenel's other ex, Ashley Jacobs, dished on his allegedly rekindled romance with Kathryn Dennis, saying that she reached out to the father of two to "kind of poke fun" at the news but that he never responded to her text: "I took a screenshot of [a story about them] and I sent it to him. … I said, 'Congratulations.' And he has not responded," she said. "My only thought is, if it's for the children, then great." She then shared some markedly less positive words about Thomas and Kathryn's relationship: "You never realize how toxic something is until you walk away from it — or meet someone who's emotionally stable — and I'm all about healthy relationships from here on out," she said, adding that "toxic attracts toxic" and that the duo have a "lot of baggage." Continued Ashley, "I think that they're the only ones that are ever going to be able to see … I think that's the best they're ever going to get. … I hate to say that because I think everyone deserves happiness, but you know, if that makes them happy, again, to each their own, but that is not a way to live." After years of claiming he was only ever just a "friend," January Jones finally admitted that she and Bachelor Nation's Nick Viall briefly dated after they first connected in late 2017: "Nick slid into my DMs, and he's like, 'I'm so sorry that your perception of me is so negative. I'd love to take you out to coffee and see if I could change your mind,'" the "Mad Men" actress — who'd been tweeting negative comments about Nick at the time — said on the Jan. 13 episode of Dax Shepard's "Armchair Expert" podcast. "I was like, 'I hate that guy!' [But] my sister was like, 'If you don't go, you will forever regret it.' So I agreed to go on a date with him — or to drinks or whatever. As I met him, I was rounding the corner and I saw him, and he has a very distinct walk, and I had this instinct to run up to him and wrap my legs around his waist like they do [on 'The Bachelor']. [But] I stopped myself." She went on to say that their first date was "good" but that all she did was "grill him about the show." After that, they "went on a couple of dates," she said. "The thing that attracted me to Nick was that he seemed — I mean, he was cast as the quote-unquote 'villain,' but he had a bit of a brain, so there was something else there. That's all we were talking about, really. But I got a lot of juicy inside stuff," she concluded.
Kristen Doute is finally moving on from her off-and-on romance with Brian Carter. During an interview with Us Weekly that hit the Internet on Jan. 14, the "Vanderpump Rules" star revealed that after engaging in "some friends with benefits" situations late last year, she recently started seeing one of Tom Schwartz's best friends. "I did just start talking to someone, but I don't have a boyfriend — I'm still open to anyone and everyone," she said, adding that for now, she's "just having fun" and that she's definitely single. "It's terrifying," she said of dating in the limelight. "That's, I think, how I feel about strangers. … I think that's why we are so incestuous with our group. … But it's terrifying because I'm like, well, do they just want to be on camera or will they never film the show? Have they seen the show? Do they have a preconceived notion of who crazy Kristen is? … I don't know how I feel about a blind date or meeting some random stranger at a bar." As for Brian, they're "broken up … absolutely," she said. He's not completely out of the picture though: "We're trying to be friends. He's always going to be one of my best friends in my mind. I still love him. I care about him. We have dogs together. But we tried to make it work and it's not working, so it just needs to be done," she said before revealing that they almost reconciled over the summer. "I actually started feeling like maybe we had a chance to try to date again and just take it slow," she dished. She then attributed the near reconciliation to "a lot of vulnerability" she was experiencing while feuding with pals Stassi Schroeder and Katie Maloney. "It was such a complicated summer," she said. "I think because nothing major happened to really cause the breakup — like it wasn't a big cheating scandal or some huge blowout fight. It was really just like two magnets — like south pole to south pole. … We were just bickering too much. I think there's a lot of resentment — just things that he and I have to get past. But he's such a wonderful guy. I think that was another thing with the girls … the more that they rip on him, the more I'm going to protect him, and that kind of drove us closer together too. Jenelle Evans sparked speculation that she and her estranged husband, David Eason, are reconciling when they were photographed with their daughter, Ensley, in Nashville on Jan. 14 — just days after the "Teen Mom" star filed document to dismiss her temporary restraining order against him. But according to TMZ, the "reunion is definitely not a sign they've reconciled their marriage" and "the divorce is still happening" — Jenelle, who filed for divorce in October, is simply trying to keep things civil for her daughter's sake.
Page Six reported on Jan. 15 that, according to a source, Tyra Banks and her boyfriend, Louis Bélanger-Martin, are "very, very much in love." Said the source, "They're a pretty happy couple and have been together for over a year." The insider added that the supermodel is "very quick to introduce him as her man" and that the relationship is "not a secret." The duo reportedly live together when the Canadian businessman isn't traveling for work.
Us Weekly reported on Jan. 15 that, according to a source, Paris Hilton and her new boyfriend, Carter Reum, are "extremely serious" and a "proposal and wedding could happen very quickly." Added the source, "Carter is very down to earth and comes from a very solid family."
TMZ reported on Jan. 15 that Brody Jenner's ex-girlfriend, Josie Canseco, and YouTube star Logan Paul "recently started dating … after years of running in the same friend circles." The duo, who were photographed holding hands in the Los Angeles area on Jan. 12, are said to be "very happy."
Bachelor Nation's Mike Johnson sparked rumors that he's dating Maurissa Gunn — whom Peter Weber sent home on the first episode of Season 24 of "The Bachelor — when they were seen dining together in Atlanta on Jan. 6. But they're just friends, he told Us Weekly on Jan. 13. "That was not a date at all," he said. "She reached out to me and I was in Atlanta and she said, 'Hey, I just have some questions about the show and how the process works being off the show now.' And so I'm just being a friend — she's my sister and a 'Bachelor' alum. … Can two people just be friends and give advice? Really, that's all it was." He added that he's "not in love with no one right now" and that Maurissa is "not my chick." Continued Mike, "I haven't found my love yet. … I'm looking for someone that's extremely confident, someone that is all about self-love, someone that can be my biggest competitor and my biggest shoulder to cry on, someone that can be the person that I confide in, be the biggest diary for me ever. … Someone to be honest and open."
Us Weekly reported on Jan. 9 that there's a new man in Amber Portwood's life: The "Teen Mom" star is reportedly dating a European father of two in his late 30s named Dimitri Garcia. "Dimitri has only seen her show a few times. He's not a superfan or anything; he's just a guy who happened to watch the show. He thought she was pretty and reached out to her via social media," said a source. "She's just getting to know him. … They've been spending time together at her place. He's a breath of fresh air."
Us Weekly reported on Jan. 15 that, according to a source, Luke Parker — who notoriously sex-shamed Hannah Brown after competing for her heart on Season 15 of "The Bachelorette" last year — and Justin Bieber's ex-girlfriend, Caitlin Beadles, "have been spending a lot of time together" lately, "though they're not officially dating" yet. "They care about the same things, specifically family and faith … [and are] interested in getting to know each other more," said the source. "They run in the same circles and are definitely talking. … They like each other and want to progress slowly and see where it goes, but nothing is official right now." On Jan. 5, Caitlin took to Instagram to share a slideshow of photos of herself and Luke ice skating together.
"Anchorman" star David Koechner filed to divorce his wife of nearly 22 years, motivational speaker and podcaster Leigh Koechner, in Los Angeles on Jan. 14, Page Six and TMZ reported. The duo share five children. "Divorce sucks, but we don't have to suffer," Leigh tweeted while promoting her upcoming series of divorce-themed webinars on the same day that the split news hit the Internet.
"Younger" star Molly Bernard took to Instagram on Jan. 14 to announce that she and Hannah Lieberman are engaged. "We said YES!" she captioned a selfie with her new fiancée and their dog.
Jeffree Star announced in a Jan. 11 YouTube video that he and his boyfriend of five years, Nathan Schwandt, called it quits "a few weeks" ago. "I'm devastated. I'm so sad. The love of my life is no longer … I don't wake up to him anymore," he said. "I'm just in a state of shock right now." The makeup maven went on to call Nathan his soulmate and "the only man that I've ever been in love with." In the 17-minute clip, Jeffree gushed about his ex, saying that they'll always be friends and have love for each other. He also explained that their hectic lifestyles led to the split and implied that Nathan struggled with the spotlight on their relationship.
During an interview with People magazine that hit the Internet on Jan. 9, county cutie Karen Waldrup revealed that she and her boyfriend of nearly two years, Cody Henson, got engaged in San Antonio, Texas, on Dec. 27. They're planning to tie the knot in September, she said.
Us Weekly reported on Jan. 13 that, according to a source, Matthew Perry's new girlfriend, Molly Hurwitz, is "telling friends that she is not in it for the fame, but she secretly loves the attention she's been getting from their relationship." Added the source, "The guys she has dated in the past have all been in the entertainment industry." The 28-year-old manager-producer was previously linked to "The Office" star B.J. Novak.
Joe Giudice took to Instagram on Jan. 11 to hint that he might be rethinking separating from his wife of 20 years, Teresa Giudice. "Don't fall in! Whatever happens in our future, remember we were friends to begin with. We will always stay strong. It's not distance that breaks a couple, it's actions! I'm growing and learning more from today's generation. Egocentrism was [a] thing in baby boomer and gen x era. Now, Millennials believe in joint effort not separating roles. Not, that I didn't love my era [but] I see the ego thing got in my way like a trap," he captioned a slideshow of pictures of himself and his estranged wife from over the years. He also reflected on his newfound appreciation for his quieter, simpler life in Italy: "[My] one bedroom [apartment] is good today," he wrote. "Simplicity, [my] girls and family first, and actions speak louder than a car or big things."
On the Jan. 12 episode of her "Intimate Knowledge" podcast, Meghan King Edmonds opened up about estranged husband Jim Edmonds' sexting scandal and how it contributed to the demise of their marriage: "My ex had a sexting situation while we were married, and I consider that cheating. Some might not," she said. "It didn't feel good, so I know that much, and I know that it definitely put a strain on our marriage." She went on to say that she knew her husband's cheating wasn't "about me at all" and that, at first, she "really took it as an opportunity to make our marriage grow stronger than ever." Continued the former "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star, "I said, 'We're not gonna break up this marriage. We're going to make this work. And that's the only outcome that this is gonna have.' That's where my mind was at the time. So I was like, 'You're gonna fix you. 'Cause I didn't do anything wrong. So you're gonna fix you, and then you're gonna come back and you're gonna treat me with respect and you're gonna figure out how to do that on your own first.' And that wasn't the way our journey went." She then shared why they ultimately split: "After I found out about the sexting, I didn't trust him. At all. And so I needed complete transparency from him. Was that fair? Not in a regular relationship where you start with trust, right? But when the trust is broken, I think it is fair to earn it back in a way that feels probably a little uncomfortable for him. He felt probably more naked when I was like, 'Hey, let me see your text messages.' Well, when I see certain text messages are deleted, that raises a red flag in my mind. So you're not growing the trust again. You're gonna continue to break that trust. So those barriers kept breaking down and breaking down until it kind of all erupted." Just how badly did things erupt? "I literally threw his phone against the wall," she said. "That's not a healthy reaction, however, I'm going to own it. It did happen." They split in late 2019 after Meghan accused Jim of having an inappropriate relationship with one of their children's nannies.
During a video interview with Harper's Bazaar that hit the Internet on Jan. 10, Gwyneth Paltrow revealed just how upset she was following her 1997 split from Brad Pitt: "I had breakup, like, could not eat. I was really skinny. It was sort of upsetting," she said. She also told the magazine that she and her ex are "friendly" and that she doesn't "have any really bad blood."
During an interview for the cover of Glamour's January 2020 Digital UK issue, which hit the Internet on Jan. 15, Mary Elizabeth Winstead opened up about divorcing her childhood sweetheart, Riley Stearns, in 2017. "I got divorced a couple of years ago, which was a scary, crazy thing for me because I had been with the same person since I was 18 years old, and that was what I knew," she said. "All the way through my 20s I was trying very hard to keep myself the same, because another thing I heard a lot growing up was people saying, 'You're so great, never change.' You can take that to heart, in the wrong way, and try to keep yourself from growing too much because you don't know what's on the other side. So I was really starting new as an adult for the first time in my life [after my divorce]. For me that was a big turning point, being OK with changing, accepting that change is a good thing and that it's OK not to know where that change is going to take you." The actress, who started seeing Ewan McGregor around the same time her marriage came to an end, went on to call her newfound independence "terrifying." Said the former "Fargo" star, "That's been a big thing for me as well because growing up I had a mom who was always there taking care of everything. During a joint interview with Us Weekly that hit the Internet on Jan. 14, Pink and her husband, Carey Hart, shared the secret to their longevity as a couple: "When we started, we were just two dumb kids full of piss and vinegar," said the motocross star. "And we've slowly stood the test of time, and as a couple, we're evolving as we get older. Interests change, and all the complications with relationships, that's probably the most surprising piece: that we've been able to evolve through it." Joked his missus, "And what surprises me is that he still can't tell me what he loves about me. Yeah, still can't do it." The mother of two then shared why she thinks their marriage works: "The thing that I think is the best thing about us is that we thoroughly enjoy being a family," she said, adding that when they do go out without their kids, it's for "motorcycle dates." During an interview with "Entertainment Tonight" that hit the Internet on Jan. 14, Juliette Porter opened up about how "hard" it was to learn that her off-and-on boyfriend of several years and "Siesta Key" co-star, Alex Kompothecras, is expecting a child with another woman: "It was definitely hard," she said. "I mean, everyone can think I am very petty for saying this but this is actually reality; he basically knocked up his rebound and I think it was too soon for me because he basically got another girl pregnant the same year we broke up … which is a fact. That was a lot for me." She went on to say that she's "healing" and "getting better" now that some time has passed. The reality star also dished on her tense relationship with Alex's new girlfriend, Alyssa Salerno: "[We were] fine in the beginning. … She was very aware of the situation we were all in and then it kind of slowly, tensions started to get high as she definitely got feelings for him and he was just the same Alex he had always been; constantly lying, constantly cheating." Juliette then doubled down on her previous claims that Alex cheated on Alyssa with her: "I don't think he cheated on me with her but he definitely cheated on her with me," she said, adding that Alex cheated on Alyssa two months or so into their relationship. Juliette and Alex haven't communicated since September, she shared: "The last thing we said to each other was like, 'I hate you' and some curse words." In spite of her issues with her ex, she thinks he'll "be a great father" and that Alyssa "is really good for him." Said Juliette, "She's a lot more into his lifestyle than I am. During a Jan. 14 interview with Us Weekly, former "The Bachelorette" star Ali Fedotowsky said that she's "so happy" for her ex-fiancé, Roberto Martinez, on his engagement to Kristiana Elliott. "I think everybody should have love in their life, and I think that Roberto's an amazing guy, and it just takes the right person, and I think he obviously has found the right person, and I could not be more happy for him," she said, adding that she hasn't spoken to her ex since her second child arrived in 2018. "He had sent me a text to congratulate me. So that actually reminds me. I should shoot him a text and congratulate him on his engagement! But I am super happy for him, and I wish him and his new fiancée all the best. … I'm sure they will have a beautiful wedding day," she concluded.
During an interview with GQ that hit the Internet on Jan. 13, Sia dished on propositioning her friend and collaborator Diplo: "Much of our relationship is just being spent trying not to have sex so that we wouldn't ruin our business relationship, because he's super-duper hot," she said.
