"#IVOTED for @joebiden and @kamalaharris. I dropped my ballot off, and I did it early 👏🏼 I voted for them because right now this country is more divided than ever. Right now, a few men in power are deciding what women can and can't do with their own bodies. Our current President has decided that racism is a non-issue. He has repeatedly and publicly ignored science… too many people have died. I urge you to really consider who is going to be most affected by this election if we stay on the track we're on right now… your daughters, the LGBTQ+ community, our Black brothers and sisters, the elderly with health conditions, and your future kids and grandkids (who will be tasked with saving a planet that our leadership refuses to believe is hurting). This whole thing isn't about one candidate or one single issue, it's about the future of this country and of the world. Vote for equal human rights, for love, and for decency. ❤️🗳 PS – It's not funny to vote for Kanye. I don't know how else to say it. Please be responsible 🙏🏼" —Jennifer Aniston, who posted an Instagram slideshow of herself voting on Oct. 23, 2020

YOU HAVE A WEEK AND A HALF 🗳 IF YOU'RE VOTING EARLY IM PROUD OF YOU. IF YOU MAILED IN YOUR ABSENTEE BALLOT I'M PROUD OF YOU. (&& if you dropped it off at your County's Board of Elections Office or at an Early Polling Site I'm proud of you!!) IF YOU'RE GOING TO THE POLLS ON NOVEMBER 3RD I'M PROUD OF YOU. "The face of a Texas resident who's absentee ballot was never delivered to where I'm going to be working on Election Day. The election board could see it was sent out Oct 8th, but it's never been found or delivered. Luckily we have early voting in Texas which, while making my voting plan I didn't know. So everyday, as my time to leave Texas to go work for a few weeks comes closer, no ballot, no ballot, no ballot. So today, I had to go to the Election Board, cancel my absentee ballot and go vote early. They told me with that cancelled ballot form I could go vote in person. When I arrived to vote in person with the form and my ID the poll worker told me I could only vote provisionally. A provisional ballot is 'ok' but it's only counted in a close race. I want my vote counted period, end of story. Provisional is better than not voting but not ideal. Due to different computer systems at election board & polling station my newly canceled absentee ballot had not registered on polling site system when I went to vote. In fact, they said I would have to wait until the computer system updated my newly cancelled absentee ballot status, and I 'should' be able to vote. Hell no I thought. So I called the election board back and they were able to process it by end of day so I could go back to vote in person for sure. The point is it took me like 4 hours to make sure my vote would count. How many others absentee ballots are lost? I encourage you to go to your counties election website and see what to do and if you can cancel it and vote early if possible. Thanks to all the election board and poll workers who helped me!! It's not their fault but this system they are trying to work is hard so keep the faith & vote!! Love Y'all!" –Jonathan Van Ness, who posted his voting story on Instagram alongside this photo on Oct. 22, 2020

"…embarrassingly but honestly, this is my first time voting. Im not proud of it, but my naivety has kept me sheltered through a lot of my young adult life. BUT. As I've listened and learned, I've realized its our responsibility and privilege to use our voices to establish what we as human beings with beating hearts want to see in this country for not only ourselves…but our friends, neighbors, strangers, and future generations. The political climate this election is intense. It can feel really overwhelming and scary to even have an opinion, knowing if you share it you will get ruthlessly criticized regardless of your platform or perspective. There's a lot of noise…but I've learned that's when it's most important to be anything but silent. And our vote is our voice. America stands for so many beautiful things and I hope (and vote) that it continues to evolve and grow to be a place where EVERYONE is protected, respected, and given equal rights and opportunity. Left the polls feeling really empowered by exercising my right and showing up for what I believe in and the change I want to see. I encourage everyone to do the same. 🗳" –Kelsea Ballerini, who posted this on Instagram on Oct. 16, 2020
