Yup, that's still Julianne Hough! She shocked us not once but twice this year with another drastic hair change in September. Julianne claimed that her recent dye job damaged her hair, which prompted her to trade in her long locks for a blond bob with bangs. "Detaching from what you know can be challenging, but also so freeing," she captioned a picture of her cut on Instagram. "The best thing about hair is how you get to create, play and just have fun with it! So here is a new look, courtesy of frizzy ends needing a clean cut after going from red to blonde."

Emilia Clarke not only went from brunette to blonde in September, but also from shoulder-length to super-short. In order to convey exactly what she wanted to her hairstylist, she drew upon fellow stars Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Pitt. "I'm thinking when Gwyneth and Brad had the same hair cut," she wrote on Instagram after the transformation, adding the hashtag, "for the love of low maintenance."
Tamar Braxton finally had enough of dealing with her hair, so she just shaved it all off in March. "I'm over feeling captive to a wig, weave, people, people's comments & opinions hell…even my OWN feelings," she captioned a photo on Instagram after buzzing her head. "WE can choose to stop these things from having the power and victory over us!! And for me, that starts TODAY."

"I chose reddish blondish honeyish copperish carmelish pumpkin spicish. Fall is almost here, and just loving the feeling and the energy it's bringing me right now. Alanis Morissette doesn't mess around! The "Jagged Little Pill" singer skipped the bob and went straight from super-long hair to an extreme pixie cut in April.

Katy Perry was also tickled pink by Japan! While touring in Asia, she frosted her pixie locks with a cherry blossom-inspired shade. "And that's a wrap on the Asian leg of Witness The Tour!
