Check out the best of the lunch's fashion from years past, starting with "The Favourite" star Rachel Weisz, who wore this dreamy pale pink Marc Jacobs confection to the 2019 event. The frock was filled with romantic details, from the ruffled collar to the full sleeves to the ribbon-belted waist and pleated skirt. Emma Stone, a best actress winner for her performance in "La La Land" in 2017, wowed in a navy one-shouldered jumpsuit by Stella McCartney that same year at the nominees luncheon. The silky one-piece featured one short sleeve and wide-legged pants and paired perfectly with those pointy-toed heels.

Saoirse Ronan's sweet black-and-white patterned shorts suit made an impression back in 2016. The star paired the Laura Basci coordinates with a bow-embellished blouse and strappy black pumps — an ideal luncheon look the year she was nominated for best actress for her work in "Brooklyn."
Glenn Close proved to be quite the fashionista at the 2019 luncheon when she arrived in this lilac monochromatic ensemble from Alexander McQueen. From the perfectly tailored pantsuit to the matching blouse underneath to the way she paired it with nude heels, this look was one of our favorites. Glenn was a best actress nominee that year for her superb work in "The Wife."
In 2017, Ruth Negga — a best actress nominee for her work in "Loving" — paired pale yellow with forest green leather in the form of these Miu Miu coordinates. Her short-sleeved sweater also incorporated more pastels in the form of pale pink and green floral embellishments. Completing the look? Matching yellow pointy-toe pumps.
Black-and-white Chanel always makes a fashion statement. Margot Robbie sported this sweet striped number by the fashion house at the 2018 luncheon and paired it with strappy sandals. She was in attendance that year as a best actress nominee for her work in "I, Tonya."
Keira Knightley went with a classic look in 2006 — the LBD! The star arrived wearing a short-sleeved black frock that featured a keyhole cut-out on the bodice and a thick belt detail at the waist. For shoes, she kept things equally simple with peep-toe black pumps.
Emma Stone opted for stripes and polka dots by Michael Kors in 2015. The best Supporting actress nominee for her work in "Birdman" arrived at the luncheon in a sparkly long-sleeved black-and-white top paired with a spotted midi-length skirt in the same colors, all accessorized with black pointy-toe pumps.
Filmmaker Greta Gerwig arrived at the 2018 luncheon in this darling Chanel dress. The woven boucle frock featured cap sleeves and a slit skirt that fell just below her knees to show off her pointy-toe pumps. She was up for best director that year for "Lady Bird."
We loved Julianne Moore's 2015 luncheon look. The best actress winner that year for her work in "Still Alice" arrived in this short-sleeved knee-length frock by Prabal Gurung featuring a peplum detail and a half-pleated skirt. She paired it with chunky black platform heels for a sweet daytime look.
In 2019, double nominee Lady Gaga was a vision in white Louis Vuitton. The "A Star is Born" actress-singer's fitted frock featured wide sleeves and a button detail down the bodice with a skirt that hit the floor and a diminutive train. Though she lost out in the best actress category to "The Favourite" star Olivia Colman, Gaga won the best original song Academy Award for the flick's theme song, "Shallow."
Best actress nominee Jennifer Lawrence rocked a black belted pantsuit with a sweetheart neckline to the Oscar Nominees Luncheon back in 2016. The "Joy" star star's look was by Stella McCartney.
Timothee Chalamet went with this sleek emerald green Gucci suit at the luncheon in 2018, adding a white dress shirt and black shoes to complete his dapper look. The sharp dresser was up for best actor for his work in "Call Me by Your Name" that year.
Nicole Kidman delivered the ideal luncheon outfit in 2017 when she arrived in this white Chanel getup. The collared frock featured silver buttons and a matching belt detail and paired perfectly with her metallic sandals. Nic was up for best supporting actress for her work in "Lion" that year.
