Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the stars who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in February 2020, starting with this whirlwind romance… Pamela Anderson kicked off February by releasing a statement announcing that she and Jon Peters (pictured together in 1989) called it quits after less than two weeks of non-legally-binding marriage. (They didn't file their marriage certificate following their Jan. 20 nuptials.) In the wake of the breakup, the former couple engaged in a game of "he said, she said" with the media, with sources close to the actress alleging that she agreed to marry Jon after just three days of texting amid a spiritual cleanse that left her feeling "vulnerable." The former "Baywatch" beauty reportedly realized she'd "made a terrible mistake" after just a day and a half of marriage and called things off with the producer, whom she found to be "too controlling." Later, Jon claimed that it was his decision to end the relationship. He also alleged that the model-actress proposed to him via text and that he "was engaged to someone else" at the time and "dropped everything" for the former Playboy model. Something else he claims to have dropped? Almost $200K to pay off Pamela's bills. Her rep called the allegations "entirely fabricated" and "ludicrous," and oddly, Jon later denied that he'd spoken to the press at all. Pam, meanwhile, told a Canadian outlet, "I don't need anyone to pay my bills," though she admitted that Jon wrote her a check for $100K after they split and said, "No hard feelings." On Feb. 20, Us Weekly reported that Jon is now engaged to a woman named Julia Bernheim. It's unclear if she's the same fiancée he dumped for Pamela. Now keep reading for more of the month's biggest celeb love life updates…

On Feb. 2, Page Six revealed that the mystery man whom Lady Gaga was seen smooching on New Year's Eve is Michael Polansky, a Harvard grad who manages Facebook co-founder Sean Parker's business and philanthropic endeavors, including his Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy. The new couple, who reportedly met through mutual friends, was seen packing on the PDA several times during Big Game Weekend in Miami, and the day after the Super Bowl, the Mother Monster made their relationship Instagram official. On Feb. 6, Us Weekly reported that the pair are "not serious," but that didn't seem to be the case when Gaga celebrated Valentine's Day by posting a selfie with Michael that showed her lipstick smeared around his mouth.

John Cena and his girlfriend of less than a year, Shay Shariatzadeh, sparked engagement rumors when fans saw her sporting a massive sparkler on her ring finger during a Feb. 17 outing in San Diego. (See a fan-captured photo here.) The wrestler-actor further fueled engagement rumors by sharing marriage-themed posts on both Twitter and Instagram.
Leonardo DiCaprio and girlfriend Camila Morrone took a major step forward in their relationship during the 2020 Oscars on Feb. 9. Though they went to great lengths to avoid being photographed together (they each posed on the red carpet separately), ABC cameras managed to capture the duo sitting together in the front row during the ceremony. It's the first time the actor has brought a date to the Oscars (aside from his mom) since then-girlfriend Giselle Bundchen tagged along in 2005. They weren't the only celeb couple who used Hollywood's biggest night to take their relationship to the next level… Brie Larson and actor-director Elijah Allan-Blitz, to whom she was first linked in July 2019, also made their red carpet debut at the Oscars. Though he declined to pose with his girlfriend for official photos, Elijah was snapped holding Brie's hand as they made their way into the ceremony. Meanwhile, Taye Diggs and his girlfriend, "Madam Secretary" writer Kristi Korzec, made their red carpet debut at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party, during which Chris Kattan debuted his relationship with model Cheyenne Gordon. And finally, a day before the Oscars at the Independent Spirit Awards, Nicolas Cage debuted his new girlfriend — the first woman with whom he's been seen since his short-lived early-2019 marriage to makeup artist Erika Koike.
On the Feb. 3 episode of "The Dr. Oz Show," Duane "Dog the Bounty Hunter" Chapman and his rumored girlfriend, Moon Angell, made it clear that there's nothing romantic going on between them — and that their purported engagement had been taken out of context.
Revelations about Jessica Simpson's off-and-on relationship with John Mayer dominated headlines in early February. On the Feb. 4 episode of the "Today" show, the blonde beauty revealed that she and the singer-songwriter broke up and got back together nearly 10 times. She also accused him of using her pain for inspiration for his music and of sabotaging her relationship with Tony Romo, who dumped her when he began to suspect that they were having an affair. (They weren't.) Later, while promoting her new memoir, "Open Book," on the Feb. 6 episode of "The Dr. Oz Show," she dished on her biggest regret about her divorce from Nick Lachey, saying that she wishes she "would've signed a prenup."
Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott presented a united front during daughter Stormi Webster's second birthday party on Feb. 1, prompting the media to spend the remainder of the month reporting that the pair, who called it quits in October, are on the verge of reconciling romantically. Us Weekly sources said that the duo are "working on getting back together" because they still "have romantic feelings towards each other," while People magazine sources claimed that the reason they're not "officially back together" yet is that the makeup mogul "doesn't want the pressure" of announcing a reconciliation "until there is more of a commitment from Travis."
On Feb. 14, Amanda Bynes took to Instagram to announce that she's engaged. The following day, she posted a selfie with her beau, a man named Paul Michael whom she reportedly started dating two or three months ago after meeting through either rehab, a halfway house or AA. It's unlikely they'll actually tie the knot, though: According to TMZ, Amanda's mother, who serves as her conservator, will not give her consent for the former child star to wed because "the family feels it's not in her best interest to be married" … and they've yet to meet Paul.
What's going on with Rihanna and A$AP Rocky? In late January, there were conflicting reports about the nature of their relationship. On Feb. 6, Us Weekly reported that, according to a source, the duo are "hanging out and hooking up." A few days later, E! News reported that, according to a source, Rihanna "considers herself to be single" and that "whatever is going on" with the rapper, it's "just casual to her."
Drake and Imaan Hamman sparked romance rumors on Feb. 7 when they were seen walking arm-in-arm during a New York Fashion Week event. "They were so cute together," a spy told Us Weekly. "They were hanging out together at the dinner, took pictures — he had his arm around her. [It] definitely looks more friendly than just friends." According to Page Six, the 33-year-old chart-topper was also seen leaving the 23-year-old model's New York City apartment on Feb. 5.
During a February interview with Israel's LaIsha magazine, Meital Dohan confirmed that she and Al Pacino recently called it quits. The Israeli singer-actress, who was first linked to the Oscar winner in the summer of 2018, lamented that it was "hard to be with a man so old." She went on to call the 36-year age-gap between herself and her ex "difficult." She also called the actor "an elderly man" and complained that "he didn't like to spend money." Said the former "Weeds" star, "I had a fight with him and left him recently, but of course I really love and appreciate him, and I was glad to be there for him when he needed me, and to be a part of his legacy. It's an honor for me. I'm glad this relationship happened between us, and hope we remain good friends."
After they were seen together several times early in the month, Us Weekly reported on Feb. 6 that, according to a source, Zendaya and Jacob Elordi — who've maintained for months that they're just friends — are officially dating. The duo first sparked romance rumors over the summer of 2019.
Are they or aren't they? Jenelle Evans and her allegedly estranged husband, David Eason, spent the bulk of February creating confusion over whether or not they've reconciled romantically. In mid-February, TMZ reported that the duo, who've been spending more and more time together recently, have been "living together off and on for several weeks at their home in North Carolina" and "taking things slowly." (If the controversial couple is living together again, divorce would now be off the table: North Carolina law dictates that a couple must be separated for a full year before they can file for divorce.) The duo, who've reportedly been splitting their time between their home in North Carolina and Jenelle's apartment in Nashville — where she moved after their alleged breakup — also recently added a baby goat to their brood. After the TMZ report hit the Internet, Jenelle denied the reconciliation rumors to several media outlets, doubling down on her claims from late January that she and David are not an item. She insists they're simply co-parenting their daughter, Ensley.
Ariana Grande was caught on camera kissing a mystery man while hanging out with friends at a bar in the Los Angeles area during the wee hours of Feb. 9. TMZ published the video, which effectively ended rumors from earlier in the month that the singer-actress is in a relationship with Mikey Foster.
G-Eazy and Megan Thee Stallion sparked romance rumors with their flirtatious behavior during Super Bowl weekend. On Feb. 4, the "Hot Girl Summer" rapper took to Twitter to deny that she and the "No Limit" chart-topper are an item. Jeremy Renner and Eiza González also got tongues wagging with their "pretty flirtatious" behavior during Big Game Weekend, though a source close to the actress later told Us Weekly that "there's nothing romantic going on" between her and the Oscar-nominated actor.
On the incredibly emotional Feb. 2 episode of their "Whine Down" podcast, Jana Kramer and Mike Caussin admitted that they've been working through some major issues stemming from a recent incident they weren't ready to publicly discuss just yet. (The setback in the former professional football player's recovery from sex addiction is separate from his late-2019 Apple Watch-topless-photo incident.) The mother of two went on to say that "there is a boundary that was broken" in their marriage, though she made it clear that her husband didn't sleep with someone else.
The hottest romance that never was! Demi Lovato and Machine Gun Kelly sparked romance rumors when they were seen leaving Soho House West Hollywood at the same time in the wee hours of Feb. 5. The following day, however, TMZ reported that "there's nothing romantic going on" between the singer-actress and the rapper-actor, who were at Soho House "to hang out with a mutual friend." Womp!
On the Feb. 12 episode of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," which was shot late last year, Teresa Giudice admitted that she now believes Joe Giudice cheated on her early in their marriage. She even revealed that she once caught him using a secret second cell phone to communicate with another woman. She went on to explain that although "there were rumors out there" about Joe's infidelity, she was "blind" to them, choosing to believe Joe when he denied the allegations against him. The following week, during a Feb. 18 interview with Us Weekly, Teresa's brother, Joe Gorga, said there's "zero chance" that the mother of four will ever reconcile with her estranged husband. On Feb. 22, Joe Giudice took to Instagram to post a clip from the season finale of "RHONJ" that shows Teresa refusing to let him sleep in the same bed as her in Italy in late 2019 after they'd been apart for nearly four years while he served prison time. "I felt rejected," he wrote in a lengthy caption, going on to explain that he knew their marriage was over at that point. "This was the moment, I knew deep in my heart she was being difficult with me for a reason. My wife has never said no to sleeping with me. I had to walk away."
Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have yet to fully recover from his late-2019 hand-holding scandal. In mid-February, Us Weekly reported that, according to a source, the singer-actor is still "bending over backwards" to get his wife "to forgive him" and "to make sure he's there for her and [their son] Silas." Said a second source, "He's been sending Jessica lots of sweet texts and telling her she's the hottest wife and mom in the world." The duo have reportedly been in therapy to deal with their issues.
After the rumor mill started churning in early February that Scott Disick and Sofia Richie had quietly called it quits, E! News reported that, according to a source, although the couple "bicker at times … things are OK with them" at the moment. The source went on to explain that the age-mismatched duo "push each other's buttons" and "have drama but always end up fine." A People magazine source echoed, "Scott and Sofia are the type of couple that constantly split up and get back together. It's all very dramatic, and then all good again."

Us Weekly reported on Feb. 19 that Madelaine Petsch and Travis Mills recently called it quits after three years of coupledom. In other "Riverdale" relationship news… KJ Apa took to Instagram on Feb. 3 to debut his new romance with French model Clara Berry. On Feb. 11, Queen Elizabeth II's eldest grandson, Peter Phillips, and his wife, Autumn Kelly, released a statement announcing that they've "jointly agreed to separate" after more than a decade of marriage. A day earlier, The Sun reported that it was Autumn's decision to end the marriage. According to the British tabloid's sources, Princess Anne's son is "devastated" and "in total shock" over the implosion of their marriage. But they aren't the only members of the royal family who announced a split this month… On Feb. 17, a spokesperson for Queen Elizabeth II's nephew — Princess Margaret's son, David Armstrong-Jones, 2nd Earl of Snowdon — and his wife, Serena Armstrong-Jones, Countess of Snowdon, released a statement announcing that they're throwing in the towel after 25 years of marriage.
On Feb. 14, "Bachelor in Paradise" couple Krystal Nielson and Chris Randone released a joint statement to Bachelor Nation announcing that they're separating after less than a year of marriage. It's unclear, however, if they're calling it quits for good or simply "taking some time apart," as the blonde beauty — who was noticeably wearing her engagement ring — said on her Instagram Story on Feb. 18. The following day, she shed some more light on their "conscious separation" — Chris has relocated to Florida to "begin an exciting adventure" while she remains in San Diego with their two dogs, "open to where our heart calls us to be next." She also noted that they "care so deeply about one another" and haven't quite "processed what this new 'chapter' actually IS."
In other Bachelor Nation news… In mid-February, Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes sparked rumors that they secretly tied the knot after less than a year of coupledom — even though he previously insisted that marriage isn't in the cards for them. E! News reported on Feb. 18 that, according to a source, the Bachelor Nation couple are "not legally married" but had some sort of "commitment ceremony" while traveling abroad recently that "really brought their relationship to a new level." They weren't the only members of Bachelor Nation with something to celebrate this month… Lesley Murphy — who competed for Sean Lowe's heart on season 17 of "The Bachelor" — took to Instagram to announce that her boyfriend of a year and a half, Alex Kavanaugh, popped the question in Manhattan Beach, California, on Feb. 4. Meanwhile, "Bachelor in Paradise" star Kristian Haggerty — who memorably comprised one half of Bachelor Nation's first same-sex couple — took to Instagram on Feb. 14 to reveal that she and YouTube personality Taylor Blake are an item. That same day, "Bachelor in Paradise" star Chris Bukowski and Katrina Badowski — who didn't make it past the first week while competing for Peter Weber's heart on season 24 of "The Bachelor" earlier this year — sparked romance rumors when they stepped out for a Valentine's Day dinner at Chicago's Bandit restaurant. Earlier in the month, Chris stoked speculation that he and his ex-fiancée, Katie Morton, might be reconciling when he left a super-flirty comment on her Instagram.
In mid-February, Denise Richards finally shot down rumors that she and her husband, Aaron Phypers, have an open marriage, insisting to an Instagram follower that they "actually don't have an open marriage" and that she's "100% monogamous to my husband." The open-marriage rumors kicked off in January when a report surfaced alleging that Denise had an affair with her "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" co-star Brandi Glanville not long after she and Aaron tied the knot.
In mid-February, Dorit Kemsley's husband, PK Kemsley, denied rumors that he's been living with friends in London, that his marriage "isn't doing well" and that he and the "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star are headed for a divorce. The talent manager told Page Six that he was living in Australia while his client, Boy George, appeared on the Aussie version of "The Voice" and that reports he's living in London and has separated from Dorit "couldn't be further from the truth." The couple further shut down split rumors by posting loving tributes to each other on Instagram in honor of Valentine's Day.
It's over! … Again. Three days after Kehlani and YG celebrated Valentine's Day by releasing the romantic collaboration "Konclusions" — on which the rapper seemingly addresses the late-2019 rumors that he cheated on the "CRZY" singer — she dropped another new song, "Valentine's Day (Shameful)," in which she accuses YG of cheating on her and of using her for status, fame and recognition. On the deeply personal solo track, Kehlani sings that she realized her ex was cheating when she read his text messages while he was asleep. She later wrote in a since-deleted tweet that she's currently single.

She then called the process of planning their wedding "overwhelming and kind of sad."
