Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney tied the knot at the Belcourt of Newport, a mansion in Newport, Rhode Island, on Oct. 19. According to People magazine, the Oscar winner donned a Dior gown to say "I do" in front of 150 guests including Adele, Emma Stone, Amy Schumer, Kris Jenner, Ashley Olsen, Cameron Diaz, Nicole Richie and Sienna Miller.

On Oct. 19, Us Weekly broke the news that the previous evening, Dennis Quaid proposed to his girlfriend of just a few months, Laura Savoie, in Hawaii. On Oct. 20, the 65-year-old actor told "Extra" that he popped the question at sunset "on the very northernmost point of Oahu, at Turtle Bay." The Emmy nominee went on to describe his proposal to the 26-year-old University of Texas doctoral student as "kind of spontaneous" and "very much a surprise," though he admitted he'd been planning the proposal for about a month and a half. "I wanted it to be private," he said, "She was actually taking a selfie of us, and I put the ring in front and said, 'Will you marry me?' And then she fell down." Hours after chatting with "Extra," Dennis and his bride-to-be made their red carpet debut at a special screening of "Midway" in Honolulu. He also gushed about Laura during an interview with "Entertainment Tonight," saying, "She's a beautiful, beautiful woman. She's an incredible person. I'm really as happy as I can be."

Us Weekly reported on Oct. 17 that, according to a source, Pete Davidson and Margaret Qualley recently called it quits but "remain friends." The duo were first linked in August. On Oct. 23, Pete was spotted having dinner at Sadelle's in New York City with model Kaia Gerber, sparking speculation that it was a date, though some reports have insisted they're just friends.
Nicki Minaj took to Instagram on Oct. 21 to hint that after months of teasing their upcoming nuptials, she and Kenneth "Zoo" Petty finally tied the knot. "👰🏽🤵🏽😢🙏🏽🎀 Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty 10•21•19," she captioned a video showing off a pair of "Mrs." and "Mr." coffee cups, as well as a pair of "Bride" and "Groom" baseball caps. According to TMZ, the duo exchanged vows in front of just one person — a minister — at a private residence in Los Angeles. They reportedly kept things low key out of necessity: Their marriage license (the second one they've obtained this year) expires at the end of the month. TMZ reports they're in no rush to plan the big wedding for family and friends that the rapper promised over the summer: In August, Nicki said that she and her love of less than a year plan to make their marriage official with a small ceremony before having a bigger wedding later.
Selena Gomez seemingly addresses her relationship with Justin Bieber in her incredibly personal new song, "Lose You to Love Me," which dropped on Oct. 22. "This song was inspired by many things that have happened in my life since releasing my last album," the singer-actress revealed in a press release. In the years since she released 2015's "Revival," Selena rekindled her romance with Justin at least twice. During that same period of time, he was also off-and-on with his future bride, Hailey Bieber. Sings Selena of her toxic romance, "You promised the world / And I fell for it / I put you first and you adored it / Set fires to my forest / And you let it burn / Sang off-key in my chorus / Cause it wasn't yours / I saw the signs and I ignored it / Rose-colored glasses all distorted." The most telling lyrics come midway through the song: "I gave my all and they all know it / You turned me down and now it's showing / In two months, you replaced us / Like it was easy / Made me think I deserved it / In the thick of healing," she sings, purportedly of Justin getting engaged to Hailey just months after he and Selena split amid her ongoing mental health issues, which have been exacerbated by her physical health issues. According to an Us Weekly source, "Although the song 'Lose You to Love Me' was co-written and a collaboration, Selena was very involved in writing and creating it, and the song is obviously about Justin. … Her fling with The Weeknd did not inspire the song — their relationship was much more short-lived and not deep enough to inspire it." (Selena and the "Starboy" singer were an item in 2017.) But a second source told Us Weekly that though "the song was inspired by Selena's breakup from Justin," that "it would be incorrect to say it's totally about Justin." Added the second insider, "It's actually about finally being able to love yourself and moving on from a toxic relationship."
Jenni Farley and Zack Carpinello have reconciled following a brief split earlier this month, Us Weekly confirmed on Oct. 20 after the duo were seen spending the previous two days together at Universal Studios Florida. JWoww might have forgiven her beau, but she's apparently less willing to move on from the drama with co-star Angelina Pivarnick. The Oct. 17 episode of "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation," which was shot months ago, showed Angelina jokingly asking for a threesome with Jenni and Zack after the wrestler got handsy with her earlier in the evening during a night out in Las Vegas. After the episode aired, Angelina tweeted, "When I asked about a threesome, everyone knew it was a joke. I even knocked on their door and was laughing. That scene was after the pool and after the fight him and I had. I never had a threesome In my life and I sure as hell wouldn't want one at 33 years old." Jenni retweeted Angelina's message, adding, "Oh ok that makes sense. Glad what you did was a joke, and u grinding on him was a joke… and u kissing him was a joke.. BUT when he joked back, you made it seem like he was a creep and destroyed him in interview. Got it. Makes total sense now."
People magazine reported on Oct. 18 that, according to a source, Jim Carrey and Ginger Gonzaga "broke up months ago." The "Kidding" co-stars revealed their romance in January.
In a preview for the Oct. 27 episode of TV One's "Uncensored" that hit the Internet on Oct. 23, Lamar Odom reveals that he left former love Taraji P. Henson for Khloe Kardashian. "Things ended with Taraji because of me being an immature punk. I didn't know how to tell her that I was falling in love with another woman named Khloe Kardashian," he says. "I just wish I would have done things different with her. She was a little older than me, but I learned a lot from her because that was the most significant relationship as a grown-up that I had with a black woman. I used to carry her picture on the road with me. Don't nobody know that — except for the dudes that played with me. She gave me inspiration — a black woman working like that [who's] just as good with her craft as I am in my craft. I remember we were on the road for our longest road trip and we were playing Cleveland. And I went off on [them]. … Part of the inspiration for me was going back to see her and getting back to L.A. It was one of the reasons I kicked their [butts] that night. I remember how I was feeling during that game and after that game. She inspired me." On Oct. 17, Christina Hendricks and Geoffrey Arend released a joint statement announcing that they're calling it quits after 10 years of marriage: "Twelve years ago we fell in love and became partners. We joined our two amazing families, had countless laughs, made wonderful friends and were blessed with incredible opportunities," they said. "Today we take our next step together, but on separate paths. We will always be grateful for the love we've shared and will always work together to raise our two beautiful dogs. Lindsay Lohan reminded the world that her sister, Ali Lohan, briefly romanced Cody Simpson last year — and hinted that their split was messy — after the singer-songwriter won the first season of the Australian version of "The Masked Singer" (on which the former "Mean Girls" star served as a judge) on Oct. 21. After Cody was unveiled as the robot, Lindsay took to Instagram to throw some major shade at her sister's ex and his new girlfriend, Miley Cyrus: "When you realise you failed. And you settle for less @codysimpson. Family is everything. You won 'The Masked Singer,' but you lost on your future," she captioned a since-deleted photo of Cody and Ali (which you can see here). She later congratulated him on his big win in the caption of a photo of them posing together with her fellow "The Masked Singer" judges. But her second post wasn't completely devoid of shade: She also tagged Ali and told her sister to "leave the riffraff behind." Yikes! Earlier on the finale, Lindsay correctly guessed that Cody was the star behind the robot mask. She then alleged that she once bought him furniture for his house in Los Angeles's Venice Beach neighborhood: "If it is you, we have a lot to talk about, and this is not the arena for it. I want my furniture back," she said. He later shared his version of the story with the Australian outlet Punkee: "I had this kind of beach shack there near Venice Beach, and I had been living there for a couple of years," he said. "I was seeing her sister for a short period at that time and she was staying there with me. I was sleeping on a mattress on the floor because that was the vibe of the house and I loved it. And [Ali] was like, 'You can't be sleeping on a mattress, you need to have a bed frame,' and I was like, 'Nah, I'm cool, I like this.' She was like, 'Lindsay is going to order you this stuff,' but it never ended up coming and we didn't know where it went." He later said that despite his history with Ali, everything between him and Lindsay is now "cool."
The morning after his "The Masked Singer" win in Australia, Cody Simpson opened up about his relationship with Miley Cyrus on the Oct. 22 episode of the Aussie radio program "The Kyle and Jackie O Show," demurring when asked if they're in love: "Love is a big word, but it's romantic," he said before opening up about his childhood crush on the singer-actress. "I used to kiss the TV screen when I was like 9," he said, adding that he and Miley "were interested in each other ever since we first met — even when I was like 18, but it was not the right time." Continued the singer-songwriter, "We've just been close ever since we met. … It was a friendship and it was fun and it just developed over like five years." He went on to explain how they finally took their relationship to the next level: "She's been through a lot this year and I was trying to be respectful of that and we kind of found each other," he said. "We just found each other in a place where we're both ready for something like this and we're both sober. … We keep each other in a good space. That's what's really healthy about it, and I think that's the first time I've had that in a relationship. We've very, very much on the same page." Cody also revealed that just a week into their romance, he and Miley agreed they wouldn't hide their relationship from the public. "We're going to get blown up, right? And we can go about it one of two ways: getting busted all the time or just not allowing anyone to bust us because we're busting ourselves anyway," he explained. Finally, he addressed his headline-making Oct. 20 Instagram Live with Miley, during which she said he's the only "good" man she's ever met and that she "thought all guys were evil" until they connected: "It's a nice thing to say. … I'd like to be the best boyfriend I can possibly be — especially for her. She deserves that much," he said. He then threw some subtle shade at her former loves: "I'm very, very, very romantic," he said. "She hadn't had that kind of an experience in a relationship before." Also during their Oct. 20 Instagram Live, Miley and Cody revealed that they shared their first kiss in 2015 or 2016 … when he was still a teenager — though they couldn't remember whether the lip-lock took place at her house or at a nightclub. After Cody called Miley a cougar, she called him her "cub" and "the f—— cutest."
According to TMZ, Zooey Deschanel's estranged husband, Jacob Pechenik, officially filed for divorce on Oct. 22. He reportedly cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split (which they announced in early September), listed January as their official date of separation and asked for joint legal and physical custody of their two kids. In the wake of the breakup, the actress has been dating "Property Brothers" star Jonathan Scott, with whom she went Instagram official following an Oct. 19 double date to Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights with his brother, Drew Scott, and Drew's wife, Linda Phan. "Still processing how scared I was of these people dressed in spooky masks," she captioned a slideshow of two group photos in which the reality star can be seen holding her in his arms. Jonathan previously appeared on Zooey's Instagram in early August after they met on the set of "Carpool Karaoke" but before they'd become an item.
Halsey and Evan Peters are still a thing! According to Us Weekly, the duo were seen walking with their arms wrapped around each other in the Los Angeles area on Oct. 20. "Halsey and Evan were at Sweet Butter Cafe in Sherman Oaks," said a spy. "They definitely looked like a couple. They were eating together and Halsey was laughing throughout their lunch. When they walked out of the restaurant, they were hugging each other."
The Sun reported on Oct. 20 that there's a new woman in Brooklyn Beckham's life: model-actress Phoebe Torrance, who bears a striking resemblance to his mother, Victoria Beckham, and, according to a source, even "did a few jobs as a Victoria lookalike in her early modeling days." Said the insider, "Brooklyn and Phoebe move in the same social circuit and have known of one another for quite a while. She is a beautiful girl, and very talented — it's no wonder Brooklyn took a shine to her. Bizarrely though, from a certain angle she does look terrifyingly like his mother, Victoria. A few of his friends have teased him about it, but Brooklyn is adamant that there is nothing 'Oedipal' about it — or words to that effect." Camila Cabello took to her Instagram Story on Oct. 19 to playfully respond to rumors that she and Shawn Mendes are no longer a couple. The singer shared a screen shot of a headline reading, "Proof Shawn and Camila Are Broken Up." She tagged her beau in the post, adding, "Well when THE F— were you gonna tell me." That same day, Shawn took to Instagram to share a sweet snap of Camila kissing him on the cheek, which he captioned with the black-heart emoji. She shared her appreciation by commenting with four arrow-through-the-heart emojis.
Is Lori Harvey dating Future again following her reported split from Diddy? Steve Harvey's stepdaughter and the rapper got tongues wagging on Oct. 20 when they took to their Instagram Stories to share photos of what appeared to be the same location in Malibu. The duo were previously linked in late 2018.
Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea married Melody Ehsani over the weekend of Oct. 19, they revealed on Instagram on Oct. 22. "This weekend I got to marry my best friend. Surely, my best collaboration to date 😁☺️ you're my whole heart @flea333," the fashion designer captioned a photo of herself and her new husband on their wedding day. "My life has changed forever and I am eternally humble and grateful. The person who sees all of me and knows who I am. My wife @melodyehsani," the rocker captioned another shot from their nuptials.
TMZ reported on Oct. 18 that in the wake of their recent breakup, Travis Scott is living part-time with Kylie Jenner. According to the webloid, the rapper has been splitting his time between the makeup mogul's home in Calabasas, California, and the home they once shared in Beverly Hills. In addition to spending time with their daughter Stormi, he's been recovering from dislocating his knee at New York City's Rolling Loud music festival on Oct. 12. The duo are reportedly "maintaining a friendship" and plan to spend more time together heading into the holidays, which they intend to celebrate as a family. TMZ adds that "some of their friends believe the exes will get back together by the end of the year."
A year after finalizing his divorce from Jennifer Garner and six months after splitting from "Saturday Night Live" producer Lindsay Shookus for the second time, Ben Affleck is dating again, Page Six reported on Oct. 23 — and he's been using the exclusive celebrity dating app Raya to do it. "He seems to want a real partner and is not looking to date a celebrity. He is private and is in a good space right now," an insider told Page Six. "He has his [three] kids [with Jen] and is focusing on work, but is ready to be in love again." A source familiar with the actor, however, told Page Six that Ben — who was spotted having dinner with a beautiful young brunette at the Hotel Bel-Air a few weeks earlier — is no longer on Raya.
Tinsley Mortimer and off-and-on love Scott Kluth have reunited, Radar Online reported on Oct. 18, noting that the duo "recently spent a weekend together in Toronto, which rekindled the romance." Said a source, "They realized on this trip they still love each other, and they are giving it another go." According to a second source, Tinsley's "The Real Housewives of New York City" co-stars "heard about the trip to Canada and are now asking questions." Echoed an Us Weekly source, "Tinsley told the ladies about her and Scott's trip to Canada together. … They did reconnect and are fully back together. It's clear that they are and she is smitten with him again." Tinsley seemingly confirmed the reconciliation reports with an Oct. 22 Instagram post: a photo of herself posing by the window in a hotel in Chicago, where Scott lives. In the caption, she quoted the lyrics to "Over the Rainbow" and added that the photo was taken "by Scott."
Jana Kramer and her husband, Mike Caussin, rehashed his sex addiction scandal for the umpteenth time on the Oct. 22 episode of the "Tamron Hall" show. But there's one thing the duo, who've been quite candid about their difficult past, won't share with the public: exactly how many times the former professional football player has strayed. "That's the only detail we've kept to ourselves privately," said Mike. "The thing is, whether it's once or a thousand, it doesn't matter. I still committed those acts. I still caused pain and a rift in our relationship and hurt the woman that I loved. The damage has already been done." When Tamron asked Jana if she trusts her husband, the singer-actress replied, "I trust him today. … I can't think about yesterday, the day before, the past. But today, he's showing up. He's a great dad today and I trust him."
During a September appearance on "The Wendy Williams Show," Nicole Murphy denied LisaRaye McCoy's claims that she had an affair with the former "Single Ladies" star's ex-husband, Michael Misick, while they were still married between 2006 and 2008. "[Social media] said I broke up someone's marriage, which is absolutely false. I never did that," she said. On Oct. 18, LisaRaye told Page Six, "Nicole did a play on words. … That was [crap] what she said. I never said she broke up my marriage. I would not even give her that much credit. I said she slept with my husband. That is what I said and what I mean." Back in July, LisaRaye's half-sister, Da Brat, said that Nicole "absolutely" went after Michael when he was married to the "All of Us" alum.
Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo are still going strong. On Oct. 17, the Carolina Panthers running back took to his Instagram Story to share a photo of his meal: "Egg sammie's on a Thursday," he captioned a shot of his sandwich. The model, to whom he was first linked in July, could be seen in the background holding a spatula while standing at the stove.
On the Oct. 22 episode of "The Talk," Taye Diggs revealed that he has a new girlfriend — and his son with his ex-wife, Idina Menzel, approves. "I started seeing somebody and it was pretty stressful, but I introduced her to him and they get along really well," he said. The actor then shared what his little one, Walker, had to say about his mystery woman: "It's good. She doesn't use the high voice when she talks to me. She talks to me like an adult," Taye quoted his son. "As soon as you do that, it's done," he added. "She speaks to him like an adult and he respects that."
David Harbour and Lily Allen are getting serious! The duo made their red-carpet debut at the Skin Cancer Foundation's Champions for Change Gala at The Plaza hotel in New York City on Oct. 17. The new couple posed for individual photos and for a group shot with Sebastian Stan, talent agent Adam Schweitzer, Dianne Wiest and Katie Holmes. The following evening, they were even less shy about their burgeoning romance: The "Stranger Things" star and the singer were caught on camera kissing while sitting courtside at the New York Knicks preseason basketball game at Madison Square Garden.
In her new book, "Gracefully You: Finding Beauty and Balance in the Everyday," which dropped on Oct. 22, Jenna Dewan describes her early 2018 split from Channing Tatum after nearly a decade of marriage as a "dark and difficult time." Writes the actress, "Here's the honest truth about my breakup: Yes, I carried a rose quartz in my bra and yes, I took herbal supplements to help me heal, but also my mom flew in to be by my side and I called my friends late at night to sob into their ears. … I was just gutted. It was so difficult for me. It was the loss of an idealistic future for myself and my life. What does that now look like for me? Where do I begin? I met him when I was 24, I didn't know life without Chan. The separation tested me in ways I hadn't thought possible. I started to wonder if everything I believed in and always talked about was real. Could anyone or anything ever be trusted? … Getting a divorce was never on my docket of dreams, but alas here I am, learning and growing through one. … In the beginning, I turned to the typical remedies. I drank a whole lot of wine with friends. I had many memories of deep, painful, big cries. And both are necessary in getting me to the next hour, through the day, on to another week. On Oct. 15, The Blast reported that Jenna and Channing, who've yet to finalize their divorce, agreed to become legally single as they continue ironing out a division of assets and a custody agreement for their daughter, Everly. The "Magic Mike" star and his new love, meanwhile, have become increasingly comfortable sharing their relationship with the public: On Oct. 21, Jessie posted several photos of herself and Channing on her Instagram Story.
In her book, Jenna Dewan also opens up about falling in love with her new boyfriend, Steve Kazee, with whom she's expecting a baby: "When I was ready, I started dating someone amazing," she writes. On the Oct. 16 episode of "Strahan, Sara & Keke," Keke Palmer explained why she balked at "The Bachelorette" alum Mike Johnson's attempt to shoot his shot with her: "I get real spooked about entertainers or reality [stars] … I don't know, it really scares me to date people in the industry. That's No. 1," she said. "No. 2: He asked me in front of everybody. I felt ambushed. I felt like it was a big ol' gag." On Oct. 15, Mike implied on Twitter that he wasn't serious about asking out the former child star. "I deflected a question posed to me on my dating life – made a playful comment," he wrote.
On the Oct. 21 episode of his "Daddy Issues" podcast, Dean McDermott and ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace revealed that they're on good terms for the first time in years since reconnecting at their son Jack's 21st birthday party earlier this month. (She even took to Instagram to share a selfie with Tori Spelling, who infamously had an affair with Dean while they were still married.) "We hadn't talked in over three years," said the father of six. "We would get into this routine: She'd text me something or I'd text her and we'd get into this back and forth off just being nasty to each other. And then finally I go, 'OK I have had enough, I am blocking you.'" It was actually Tori who helped Dean reconnect with his ex: "She didn't block me. She lets me text her," quipped Mary Jo. Chimed in Dean, "Through all this it started this dialogue, and the dialogue got friendlier and friendlier." Ultimately, Tori ended up sitting between Dean and Mary Jo at Jack's birthday dinner. "Tori turns her back on me the whole night, turns into Mary Jo, and that is when the love-fest began," said Dean. Added Mary Jo, "We talked before, but this was a whole new level of love. … The first thing she said was, 'I'll sit beside you,' and she did. It was on — it was full game-on. Three or four hours, we had the most amazing time. We had incredible conversations. She was patting my hair a lot. The Blast reported on Oct. 21 that three years after he first filed for divorce, Kate Beckinsale and Len Wiseman are one step closer to officially ending their marriage: Earlier this month, they settled on a division of assets. They're now awaiting a judge to sign off on the legal documents to finalize their split.

According to TMZ, Monica finalized her divorce from former basketball star Shannon Brown on Oct. 22. A judge in Fayetteville, Georgia, also granted the singer's request to change her last name back to her maiden name: Arnold. The court reportedly sealed details pertaining to the former couple's child support and spousal support agreement.
"Bachelor in Paradise" stars John Paul Jones and Tayshia Adams just took a major step forward in their relationship: The Maryland native told Us Weekly on Oct. 18 that he recently moved to Los Angeles to be closer to his girlfriend … and to pursue an acting career: "Tayshia is only an hour and a half away so that was a big draw," he said of his cross-country move, which he later described as "killing two birds with one stone." Continued the financial analyst, "I'm excited to consistently see my girlfriend who I've been dating from across the country, so that will eliminate a lot of loneliness that I experienced [in] Maryland. … Tayshia is definitely excited. It reduces a lot of the hassle that came with buying a plane ticket and visiting her for a weekend. It was really difficult [being long-distance]. I had a full-time job working 50 hours a week and it was tough to go out for three days. I would come out here and have one day with her and have to fly back. … I'm really excited to just be a normal couple. We just really haven't had that normalcy that you would experience in a relationship given that we were hanging onto each other via FaceTime and now it'll be more of a tangible thing. We're just excited to be around each other. On the Oct. 22 episode of her "Let's Talk About It With Taylor Nolan" podcast, Bachelor Nation's Taylor Nolan — who competed for Nick Viall's heart on Season 21 of "The Bachelor" before getting engaged to Derek Peth (pictured) on Season 4 of "Bachelor in Paradise" — revealed that she recently broke up with her unnamed boyfriend of a little more than a year. "I have ended my no-longer-current relationship," she said. "I'm now single. 'Canada Man' and I have decided to part ways." She went on to describe the split as "a long time coming." Said the reality star, "Since March, I've been unhappy. … When I looked at the cumulation of the time that we had been together, it was, like, for over half of this relationship, I haven't been happy and it's not getting any better. It's just getting worse and worse. It's like, 'How much longer do I really want to do this for?' I want more than this. I'm worthy of more than this. I wouldn't want a friend to stay in this." She went on to say that there were things about her relationship with Derek that she wanted to have with Canada Man: "I have been craving that affection," she said. "It was difficult to be in a relationship and not have that affection. … That was something that I experienced with Derek and that I felt very strongly with him." Taylor added that she and the "Bachelor in Paradise" Season 6 star haven't spoken in "over a year" and that she wouldn't want to reconcile with him. But according to an Us Weekly source, "Taylor would not rule out the possibility of getting back together with Derek … as they never really received closure."
On the Oct. 22 episode of the "Let's Talk About It With Taylor Nolan" podcast, Vanessa Grimaldi said that she "didn't want to get engaged" when Nick Viall proposed on the finale of Season 21 of "The Bachelor" in 2017. "I had a conversation with him, and I said, 'Listen, wouldn't it be better if we just date outside of the show and then get engaged? 'Cause that'd be more meaningful. We'd get to know each other,'" she recalled. "He said, 'I know to you it could be just a piece of jewelry, but there's so much meaning towards us leaving engaged because there's going to be so much attention. There's going to be so much, like, backlash on us once we're done with the show.'" According to the brunette beauty, Nick said that even if they didn't feel truly engaged, leaving the show with an engagement would "hold us together" and give them something to "work towards." Added Vanessa, "And I wouldn't have said yes if I didn't picture him as someone that I could've potentially grown with." The duo ultimately split just months after the finale aired. "I think if we weren't engaged, we would've broken up sooner," she said, adding that at the time, she felt she "was ready for marriage" and "ready for a family." Vanessa went on to say that she feels like her time on "The Bachelor" happened for a reason: so she could meet her current love, Josh Wolfe. "I went through all these breakups that literally were so hard on me to for me to be on the show, and so maybe it was meant for me to be on the show and it was meant for me to date Nick and it was meant for me to have this life," she said. "If I hadn't gone on to the show, I don't know if Josh would have slid into my DMs." Speaking of Josh… On the Oct. 21 episode of the "Help I Suck at Dating" podcast, Vanessa said that she's been hinting to Josh that she wants to get engaged — by sending him pictures of engagement rings.
Kristen Bell took to Instagram on Oct. 21 to make light of the fact that both she and her husband, Dax Shepard, forgot their recent wedding anniversary. "We were reminded by family and friends that at some point last week, it was our 5 year wedding anniversary. In truth, neither of us remember which day. Thats because we have been living the celebration of our commitment every moment since. I find when you are living with gratitude each moment, the dates become irrelevant. To get to wake up next to someone who has put hard work, respectful fights, patience, understanding and gratitude into your relationship is the definition of love. I will never remember the date of our anniversary @daxshepard, and i know you wont either. And thats just one more thing i love about us," the actress captioned a makeup-free selfie with her hubby. There was just one problem with her super-sweet post: As one fan pointed out in the comments section, the duo tied the knot in October 2013 … meaning this was actually their sixth wedding anniversary and not their fifth, as Kristen initially claimed. During an Oct. 22 interview with Us Weekly, Hilarie Burton explained why she and Jeffrey Dean Morgan finally decided to tie the knot after 10 years of coupledom: "You just hit a point one day when you want it to be real and our lives are very, very busy," she said. "It became really easy to just be like, 'We're close enough. We're close enough.' But you also want to set an example with your children and we didn't want to be liars anymore! We called each other husband and wife because we lived as husband and wife. It was as true as anything, but it became more of a celebration and it was a thank you to the people who supported us over the last decade, so it was a thank you." Us Weekly reported on Oct. 17 that, according to a source, Gwyneth Paltrow and her second husband, Brad Falchuk, are "very friendly" with her ex-husband, Chris Martin, and his girlfriend, Dakota Johnson. "It's not without effort and having to put feelings aside from time to time. They genuinely enjoy being together and there's a lot of love for one another on all sides," said the source, adding that "Gwyneth loves Dakota, and vice versa." On the Oct. 17 episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Scarlett Johansson said that Colin Jost "killed it" when he proposed in May. "He did like a whole James Bond situation. … It was surprising. "Dating girls is, like, the least of my worries right now. I'm so busy and running around," he said. Former "The Bachelorette" star Kaitlyn Bristowe took to Instagram on Oct. 23 to celebrate the first anniversary of the day she met her boyfriend, Jason Tartick: "EMOTIONAL ALERT. On this day last year…. I walked into a studio in Seattle to podcast with Jason and Olivia [Caridi]. I almost canceled because I had been bawling my eyes out in an Uber, going through some crap, and I was crying on FaceTime to my dad when he came in. We had never met, but he hugged me, and told me he had just cried too at a charity event he came from. He looked at me and said, 'let's have a soft Tuesday together.' He almost canceled as well because he had an eye infection. He brought a nice bottle of wine, and I had asked Olivia to join me for the podcast because I thought I would need someone to help keep the energy up, since I was so sad. But If you spend two seconds with Jason you realize his energy is electric and you can't help but be in a good mood. My day had changed. I didn't know what was going to happen. I thought of Jason as a friend and wanted him to be the bachelor. He actually helped me through a hard time. I just wanted him to be happy.
