Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West might be headed for a divorce after six years of marriage. Their relationship troubles started making headlines on July 22 when the rapper tweeted that he's "been trying to get divorced" for more than a year. His eyebrow-raising tweets, which arrived amid reports that he's struggling with mental health issues, have since been deleted — but it turns out there may have been some truth buried in his cryptic comments. According to People magazine sources, "divorce had been in the process for several weeks," "both sides feel the marriage is over" and the breakup has been "a long time coming." But on July 25, Kanye took to Twitter to publicly apologize to his wife for his recent behavior, writing in part, "I did not cover her like she has covered me. To Kim I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me."

Scott Disick and Sofia Richie sparked reconciliation rumors after they were snapped spending the Fourth of July together with friends in Malibu. (See photos here.) At the time, an E! News source said that the pair, who split in late May, were discussing "seeing each other again" but had yet to officially reconcile. Ten days later — after the model again hinted at a reconciliation when she took to her Instagram Story to share a photo of herself watching TV in Scott's living room — Us Weekly broke the news that the duo were "back on" and "hanging out again romantically."
In late June, August Alsina claimed that he and Jada Pinkett Smith had an affair after her son, Jaden Smith, introduced them in 2015 — and that her husband, Will Smith, was fully aware of the romance and even gave them "his blessing" to see each other. On the July 10 episode of her Facebook Watch series "Red Table Talk," the 48-year-old actress admitted that she did, in fact, have a romantic "entanglement" with the singer, who's now 27, about four years ago while briefly "separated amicably" from her hubby. (They also clarified that although Will was aware of the relationship, he never gave his wife "permission" to date anyone — because only she has that power.) Ultimately, Jada reconciled with the A-list actor and reached a "new place of unconditional love" in their marriage, she said. August, meanwhile, dropped a song about his relationship with Jada, "Entanglements," on July 18.
Keke Palmer, meanwhile, was dragged into Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith's drama with August Alsina after an old photo of her and the singer sitting in a car together resurfaced on Twitter. When a fan asked her about the pic on July 10, the actress replied, "August was never my man lol." The singer quickly caught wind of Keke's tweet and fired back, alleging that they dated — and that he was the one who called things off between them after her pals "begged" him not to "further disturb [her] mental instability." She then hinted on Instagram (without mentioning August or his allegations about their past directly) that there was more to the story: "I wanna be mean, but I can't. I want to post screenshots, but I won't," she captioned a selfie, adding that she "wouldn't feel good kicking someone when they are down." Later, August accused Keke of playing the victim. He also threw some major shade her way: "What I will say is that covert narcissism exists," he said.
In mid-May, there were reports that Lily James and "The Crown" star Matt Smith had rekindled their romance while quarantining together amid the coronavirus pandemic. But on July 4, the "Cinderella" actress sparked rumors that she's now dating Chris Evans when the duo were snapped sharing a cab back to the same hotel after spending the night out at a private members-only club in London. (See photos here.) A few days later, the duo were seen together again — this time eating ice cream cones while lying in the grass at a London park. (See photos here.)
"Flip or Flop" star Tarek El Moussa and "Selling Sunset" star Heather Rae Young announced some happy news on July 26: They're engaged! The proposal came as the real estate TV personalities celebrated their one-year anniversary of dating with a romantic getaway.
On July 1, People magazine reported that, according to a source, Khloe Kardashan and her ex-boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, were "giving their relationship another try." The source added that the basketball star was "working hard to prove himself" to his former love. The reality star lent credence to the reconciliation rumors when she and several members of her famous family celebrated the Fourth of July with Tristan at his home in Los Angeles. But then during a mid-July interview, Khloe strongly implied that she and her ex are just co-parenting their daughter, True.

On July 17, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi tied the knot in a private ceremony at The Royal Chapel of All Saints, a 19th century church located on the grounds of Royal Lodge in Windsor, England. The duo originally planned to exchange vows at St. James's Palace in London in late May but were forced to alter their plans amid the coronavirus pandemic. Just 20 guests — including the bride's grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II — were on hand when she said "I do." Surprisingly, it wasn't the only royal wedding of the month: On July 20, the Archduchess of Austria and Royal Princess of Hungary, Bohemia and Croatia, Eleonore von Habsburg — who's worked as a fashion model and once walked the runway for Dolce & Gabbana — married Belgian Formula E race car driver Jérôme d'Ambrosio at a registry office in Monaco.
What a wild month for Brian Austin Green! In late June, the former teen heartthrob stepped out with both Tina Louise and Courtney Stodden — who made headlines when she posted a bizarre video with the actor on Instagram the same that he was first seen with the Australian model. A few days later, on July 3, the father of four told a paparazzo that Courtney was trying to "create problems" for him and Tina and described her behavior as "disappointing." Courtney responded by telling Fox News that she was dating the "Beverly Hills, 90210" alum but "blocked him after several other women who he was playing came forward." She also called him "a womanizer" and said that he wanted her "to remain his little secret." Meanwhile, Brian and Tina were heating up. By late July, however, they'd also called it quits.
Another former heartthrob who spent the month playing the field? Brody Jenner. In late June, TMZ reported that the reality star was dating Briana Jungwirth — who has a son with former One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson — and that things were already serious. But on July 4, he was caught on camera hanging out on a boat off the coast of Malibu with a mystery brunette. (See photos here.) Although initial reports indicated the breakup was mutual and amicable, things turned nasty after the blonde beauty vaguely addressed their split on the July 6 episode of "The Bachelor – The Greatest Seasons Ever." Three days later, Colton took to Instagram to throw some thinly-veiled shade at his ex, prompting her to accuse him of attempting to "monetize our breakup." Then on July 15, Colton was seen hiking in the Los Angeles area with Lucy Hale. According to TMZ's sources, she reached out to him after he and Cassie split and they've "been seeing each other a lot … over the last few weeks." A People magazine source added that the former star of "The Bachelor" and the "Pretty Little Liars" alum are "very casually dating." The actress, meanwhile, responded with a curt "no" when a paparazzo asked her if it's true she and Colton are dating. She also described herself as "more single than ever" during a July interview with "Entertainment Tonight."

On the July 22 episode of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," Brandi Glanville finally opened up about her history with Denise Richards, alleging that the "Starship Troopers" actress pursued her romantically and then after they hooked up, told her not to say anything to her husband, Aaron Phypers. "I would have never slept with Denise if I thought that Aaron was not OK with it," Brandi said. Earlier in the month, Us Weekly reported that, according to a source, Denise and Aaron are "doing great" and are "better than ever" in spite of the drama.

In November 2019, the actress filed to have her first petition for divorce dismissed.

While responding to a fan on Instagram, Jessica alleged that she and Nick have been "together off and on for years." She also explained that his new addition with Brittany was conceived after she and Nick "had temporarily broken up." Wrote Jessica, "I am no home wrecker at all. Nick was a free man at that time and can be with whoever he so chooses and for years that person has always been me. That is between him and Britney." Last summer, by the way, Nick said he'll "never be able to be with just one woman again" or be in a relationship again.
