(See photos here.) Following the outing, a People magazine source said that the former professional hockey player "really still wants to make it work" with the dancer-actress, who's "considering it but taking her time." Said the source, "He's open to whatever it will take. … Julianne likes the idea of freedom but doesn't want to lose such a good, solid guy. Everyone who knows him knows how grounded and great he is. On Aug. 27, "Entertainment Tonight" reported that, according to a source, Brad Pitt met his new girlfriend, Nicole Poturalski, through mutual friends. "When they first started seeing each other, they told no one about it. Even some of their inner circle of friends are only finding out now. Brad has been very private about dating," said the source, noting that the A-list actor "doesn't want to rock the boat" with his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, as their ongoing divorce battle rages on. According to the "ET" insider, the German model is "super easygoing … very down to earth and far from starstruck, which has been really nice for Brad." The outlet also notes that the pair were first seen together at a Kanye West concert in Hollywood in November 2019. MailOnline, meanwhile, paints a slightly different picture of how Brad and Nicole met, reporting that the 27-year-old beauty is in an open marriage with 68-year-old restauranteur Roland Mary and that she met Brad at her husband's high-end Berlin restaurant in August 2019. A few weeks later, she reconnected with the Oscar winner — who knows Roland personally — while she was in Los Angeles for a photo shoot. According to a source, "Roland is a very philosophical guy" and isn't bothered by his wife's relationship with the Hollywood star. "He has been married several times and has five children. He is not interested in negativity or jealousy," said the source, noting that Roland and Nicole "are still married but you could describe their relationship as an 'open marriage.'" Curiously, when MailOnline contacted Roland for comment on their sensational report, he replied "no comment" rather than issuing a firm denial of the story.

On the Sept. 1 episode of her "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast with Rachel Lindsay, Becca Kufrin confirmed recent reports that she and her fiancé of two years, Garrett Yrigoyen, are no longer together. "Garrett and I came to this decision after many conversations. It wasn't just something we just arrived at one night," she said. "It wasn't based solely off of one Instagram post or somebody else's opinions or comments. There's much more to it. To any relationship, there's a lot of layers." She went on to say that she and Garrett — who hit a rough patch earlier this year when he publicly supported police amid Black Lives Matter protests — have "finally come to terms" with the fact that they're no longer compatible and "realized that we still have so much love and kindness and compassion in our hearts for the other person, but sometimes people's paths just go different ways." The former star of "The Bachelorette" continued, "We went on this crazy TV show over two years ago in hopes of finding love, and we were lucky enough that we did. We really, truly did. I'm so grateful for that opportunity and to have had the two-plus years with Garrett. Like I said, I still have so much love and compassion in my heart for him. Just because we've arrived at this decision now doesn't take away all of the years and the countless memories that we've made together. I will always look back at this time in my life with so much gratitude and love." According to an Us Weekly source, the former publicist is "really broken up about" the split because she "thought Garrett was her person, her forever."

Continued the insider, "Neither of them is fully committed or attached to one another romantically at this time, and Kylie is definitely crushing on a few other guys as of late. Maybe one day they will fully get back together, but right now doesn't seem like the time, but again, their dynamic changes often. They are still young and figuring out their next steps." The source added that the makeup mogul "definitely wants more kids" but isn't sure "if it will be with Travis," though "it could happen one day." The source went on to detail how the duo successfully co-parent their daughter, Stormi: "[They're] as inclusive and involved as possible and [make] an effort for Travis to still certainly be part of the picture and let Stormi know that their level of co-parenting and dynamic is OK and normal," said the source. They were last seen together in July.
On Aug. 28, Liam Payne's rep confirmed to multiple media outlets that the former One Direction singer and his girlfriend of two years, Maya Henry, are engaged. It's unclear when the two women became an item, though Jessica appeared on a 2018 episode of "Claws."
There's a new man in Sam Smith's life: The singer was snapped packing on the PDA with French furniture designer François Rocci in London on Aug. 25. (See a photo here.) But during an interview with Us Weekly that popped up online on Aug. 27, the handsome musician insisted that he and the recently single Bachelor Nation star "are just friends and have been for over four or so years." Added Brighton, "My brothers and I are all close with Cassie and her whole family."

"Liam has some movie projects coming up and is happy to be living in Australia and being able to spend his downtime with Gabriella," said the source. "They're both secure in their relationship and Gabriella isn't worried that Liam has any lingering feelings for [his ex-wife Miley Cyrus] and isn't intimidated by their relationship. Liam and Gabriella are really close and feel comfortable with one another. They connect over important topics and share the same values about family and life." The insider added that Liam's family thinks he and the model "are great for each other."
Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus opened up about her divorce from Liam Hemsworth on the Sept. 1 episode of Joe Rogan's eponymous podcast, saying that "what really sucked" about the breakup was that she was blamed for it. "It wasn't the fact that me and someone that I loved realized that we don't love each other the way that we used to anymore. That's OK, I can accept that. I can't accept … just all those stories," she said. The recently single star also shared what she's looking for in a partner: "I want the soul connection," she said, adding that she hopes to find someone a little older. "I think men in my life have told me that I'm cold … because I leave when things are done," she continued. "I don't need a man or a woman that's going to take care of me. I can take care of me cause I've got money. I've got all the things that I need to take care of myself. I need them to be able to take care of them. … I guess I really don't need to be in a relationship at all. This is a super-pivotal moment for me right now. I haven't been single [since] 2015. … I've had a few months here and there where I've been single, but not for a long period of time."
In early August, Instagram model Aileen Gisselle sparked rumors that she and Rob Kardashian are an item, but on Aug. 27, Us Weekly reported that, according to a source, the reality star is just "casually dating" right now.
Also keeping it casual? Kendall Jenner and Devin Booker. On Aug. 30, Us Weekly reported that, according to a source, the model and the basketball star, who've been practically inseparable in recent months, are "seeing each other but aren't serious and are just having fun with each other." During an Aug. 29 Instagram Live, Brian Austin Green said he's not ruling out a reconciliation with his estranged wife, Megan Fox … even though she's very serious with her new boyfriend, Machine Gun Kelly. "I never say never," said the former teen heartthrob, according to People magazine. "I kinda feel like people are on paths in life and sometimes your paths are together and you travel that path together and you see eye to eye, and then sometimes paths do different things. … We had an amazing 15-year relationship. We have three beautiful kids. We shared a lot together and we really went through a lot together. Right now the paths are different and she is on her path doing what she feels she needs to be doing to be happy and I'm on my path doing what I feel I need to do to be happy and it's not for a lack of love for the kids or lack of being responsible." When a fan asked what Brian thinks of MGK, the "Beverly Hills, 90210" alum replied, "Do I like Megan's new man? I've never met him. I have no idea. I can say, yeah, I've heard bad stories about him, but I've heard bad stories about myself as well, and I know most of those aren't true. As of right now, I have no problem with him at all. I really hope that he and Megan are happy." He went on to say that it would be "selfish" of him to want his ex to only "be happy with me." Continued Brian, "We did that for 15 years. If that has run its course, then so be it. That's not a failure. It was a really special relationship, and it still is. … At some point, I think our paths will regulate a bit and run parallel to each other. Not necessarily the same but that's OK. Sometimes you have to sort of really swing far away from something to find a more stable ground to stand on." Two days later, Brian was snapped spending time with Tina Louise at a Los Angeles beach (see photos here), sparking speculation that they're dating again after calling off their short-lived romance in July.
In other possible reconciliation news… On the Sept. 2 episode of Matty Moak and Kirby Ann's "The Gay & The Girl" podcast, "Siesta Key" star Camilla Cattaneo hinted that she and Brandon Gomes could eventually reconcile, noting that only "time will tell" if they're meant to be together. The blonde beauty went on to say that although she hasn't seen Brandon since she found out he had an affair and secretly welcomed a child with another woman, he's been making moves to win her back. "He's been leaving stuff on my car, sending stuff to my house," she said. "He's trying to show me that he's going to be a better man or whatever."
In the months since Francesca Farago split from "Too Hot to Handle" co-star Harry Jowsey, she's dated YouTube star Tana Mongeau, stepped out for dinner with Vinny Guadagnino, packed on the PDA with Australian model Casey Boonstra and sparked romance rumors with "Love Is Blind" star Damian Powers after they were snapped walking arm-in-arm in West Hollywood on Aug. 25. (See photos here.) A few days later, Damian released a lengthy statement to E! News insisting that he and Francesca are just friends who happen to share the same attorney. The attorney arranged a group dinner with the duo and some other friends while Damian was in Los Angeles on business, he claimed. As for the cozy-looking photos? "Francesca grabbed onto me in an attempt to shield herself from the paparazzi as our entire group entered the car," he explained. "Francesca and I are not dating or romantically involved but remain friends." Then on Aug. 31, Giannina Gibelli took to her Instagram Story to make it clear that she and Damian — who got engaged on "Love Is Blind," called it quits at the altar and then reconciled after the reality show wrapped — are still together. She shared a photo of her beau pecking her on the cheek during a lunch date. As for Francesca…
On Sept. 1, Bachelor Nation's Jef Holm — who got engaged to Emily Maynard on season 8 of "The Bachelorette" in 2012 — confirmed reports that he's dating Francesca Farago. They met through their mutual friend Casey Boonstra "a few weeks ago," he told E! News. "She's a lot of fun to be around," he said. "We've been hanging out and getting to know each other. She's a great person inside and out and we have a lot in common. I definitely have a crush on her." As for their relationship status, "People are quick to put a title on things but we're just in the beginning stages and are taking things slow," he said. Earlier that day, TMZ reported that when they met, the duo "instantly bonded over their reality show backgrounds and sense of humor." They've reportedly been "pretty inseparable" since then — they even vacationed together in Utah and Arizona in early September. Curiously, Francesca and Casey sparked romance rumors when they were snapped making out in early August. (See photos here.)
Meanwhile, Harry Jowsey and TikTok star Olivia Ponton sparked rumors they're an item with their flirtatious behavior during a trip to the beach in the Los Angeles area on Aug. 27. (See more photos here.) But during an Aug. 29 chat with paparazzi outside an L.A. restaurant, the "Too Hot to Handle" star insisted the blonde beauty is like his "little sister" and that they were expecting more friends at the beach but everyone else flaked at the last minute. "As soon as two people hang out, they're like, 'They must be engaged.' But, no, she's literally my little sister," he said. He then addressed his rumored romance with Kylie Jenner's BFF, Stassie Karanikolaou. "I love Stass. She's a sweetheart. She's a good girl. … She's one of my best friends," he said before insisting they're not dating. So who is he dating? "I'm trying to figure that out. Can you be my matchmaker?" he asked a videographer in a clip published by The Hollywood Fix on YouTube. "Can you find someone who's the only single person out there that just needs a 23-year-old Australian stallion to just ruin her life?" That same day, he was snapped looking flirty with social media star Madi Edwards during lunch at a restaurant in L.A.
On Aug. 27, "The Challenge" star Kailah Casillas took to Instagram to announce that she's engaged to "Love Island" and "Ex on the Beach" alum Sam Bird. "I'm marrying my favorite person in the world," she captioned a photo of herself showing off her new engagement ring. The duo just revealed their romance in January.
Bachelor Nation's Katrina Badowski took to Instagram on Aug. 30 to reveal there's a new man in her life. She later told Us Weekly that she first met her new boyfriend, Robert Freeman, "two years ago when we were in the same bridal party at a wedding." They "crossed paths again in Florida this summer through mutual friends and have been going out ever since," she said, adding that because she lives in Chicago and he's Florida-based, they've been doing long-distance. The mortgage banker is "calm, confident and kind," she gushed. "From the beginning, I felt safe with him. As we got to know each other, I became attracted to his heart, his openness and his consistency. His actions always match his words and I've never had to wonder about his feelings toward me," she continued. "What makes us compatible is that we share the same philosophy on relationships. We don't feel like we own each other or are tied down by rules. Instead, we respect each other as the individuals that we are and strive to help each other grow and fulfill our own dreams and destinies. We are loyal and supportive of each other because we genuinely enjoy it. … It's been a fun aspect of our relationship to share our experiences and learn new things from one another."
Torrey DeVitto and her mystery man are still going strong. On Aug. 27, the "Chicago Med" star took to Instagram to share two new photos of her boyfriend, whose identity she's yet to publicly reveal, with his face covered. She captioned the pics with a hashtag reading "camera shy."
On Sept. 2, Us Weekly broke the news that there's a new woman in Blake Griffin's life: jewelry designer and personal stylist Alexa Eshaghian. The duo have reportedly been splitting their time between Los Angeles and The Hamptons. "Alexa has been visiting Blake in L.A. and has been with him all summer," said one source, noting that the pair are "just having fun."
Paris Hilton took to Instagram on Aug. 29 to gush over her boyfriend, Carter Reum, in honor of their anniversary. (Curiously, they also celebrated an anniversary in May.) "When we first met, I had no idea of the amazing journey I was about to embark on. My life was always empty, like I was missing something. But when I met you, I knew you were the one. You've filled my heart with so much love. I believe that everything happens for a reason because everything in my life, all the good and the bad, has led me right to you. You are my reason for me being so happy and feeling like the luckiest girl in the world! I love making you happy and promise to make you smile forever. Love so much handsome! Happy anniversary!" she captioned a photo of them together. The former reality star later told People magazine that she feels "so safe" with Carter. "Before, I don't think I was really ready for a good relationship. But I've learned so much. And I'm so grateful to have found my perfect match," she said.
During an interview with Vulture that hit the Internet on Aug. 31, Mariah Carey dished on how her brief fling with Derek Jeter toward the end of her toxic relationship with her first husband, Tommy Mottola, inspired her song "The Roof." (She and the baseball star kissed on the roof of his apartment building.) "I can never forget that moment. I mean, it's not like it was some intensely deep, intellectually stimulating [thing] — again, it was a great moment, and it happened in a divine way because it helped me get past living there, in Sing Sing, under those rules and regulations," she said, referencing her prison-inspired nickname for the home she shared with the music mogul (pictured). "He was like this oppressive humidity," she said of her ex-husband, adding that talking about him "ignites the triangle in [her] stomach."
On the Aug. 31 episode of their "Whine Down" podcast, Jana Kramer admitted that sometimes when she's "really angry" with her husband, Mike Caussin, she considers having an emotional affair to get back at him for his past indiscretions. But the former professional football player isn't worried about his wife straying from their marriage. "I trust Jana for all of the right reasons. I do. I trust her because I love her. I believe that she loves and respects me and our family and everything. She wouldn't want to evoke the same kind of pain that I did," he said. "I don't think she'll do that to even the score. I think it's the exact opposite. She's even more motivated not to do it. … It's an energy of leverage when one person's broken the trust and one hasn't." The mother of two — who revealed that they were in "a little rough patch the last month" — went on to say that she wishes her husband were even "one%" jealous of her attractive male co-stars. "I love that you trust me, and you're so supportive of my work," she said, according to Us Weekly. "Sometimes I think you trust me because you want that same trust. You do things to then want the same thing back."
On the Aug. 30 episode of "60 Minutes Australia," Katy Perry described her relationship with ex-husband Russell Brand as the "first kind of breaking of my idealistic mind." Said the singer, "I was having great success at 23 and 24 and 25 and then I met someone that was interesting and stimulating. It was just like a tornado. It was just like everything happening at once. But, yeah, I've always really resonated with friction and resistance and challenges. And I know that inherently, like, OK, it's gonna take a lot of work, but we're gonna get somewhere great where it's gonna be a beautiful diamond — all this pressure is gonna turn into a beautiful diamond." As for her relationship with her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, "It is a healthy, frictional, very open, very communicative, nothing is swept under the mat type of relationship. Even to the point where it's like, we should probably walk into the other room if we're going to discuss something where we disagree because we'll just do it in public," she said. "But I think if we can get to the ends of our lives together, we'll be each other's greatest teachers. … Dating is different. Weekend lovers, that's fun — that's candy. This is solid. This is like the main course."
Us Weekly reported on Aug. 31 that, according to a source, Kendra Wilkinson and her ex-husband, Hank Baskett, "have been very cordial and are in a really good spot with co-parenting" their two children. "Hank is out of the picture in terms of a romantic relationship, but they have a good thing going when it comes to the kids," said the source.
On Aug. 31, Vanessa Grimaldi took to Instagram to reflect upon her experience as part of Bachelor Nation, writing that she and Nick Viall "tried our hardest to make it work" after they fell in love on season 21 of "The Bachelor" in 2017. The following day, they reminisced about their failed engagement on the Sept. 1 episode of his Patreon web series, acknowledging that they both experienced different versions of their breakup. He revealed that his "biggest anxiety and fear" is that he seemed "heartless," while she worried that she sounded "crazy" and "emotionally unstable." Vanessa, who went through a deep depression after starring on the reality show, said she feels like she and Nick never "really ever understood" how the other felt. "I think the one thing Vanessa and I really agreed about is how much we cared and how much we tried," Nick said, according to Us Weekly. "And we just went about it so unproductively. … If the speed of how your driving is equal to the effort you're putting in, we were both going 100 miles per hour, but we were both going at opposite directions at one another and it eventually just crashed and exploded." After going to couples counseling and learning that they have different love languages, they ultimately realized they're just too different and that the qualities they share — like stubbornness — are their "bad" qualities. "We were two puzzle pieces that just didn't fit," said the brunette beauty. Later, Nick told Us Weekly that the conversation with Vanessa helped him find closure. "I'm over it, but I am not indifferent about the relationship," he said, adding that he and his ex were both "nervous" about publicly reconnecting. "I had a lot of strong feelings and she did too about the relationship," he explained, adding that he feels "more indifferent now" but "in the best possible way."
Meanwhile, Andi Dorfman revealed on the Aug. 27 episode of Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti's "Almost Famous" podcast that she was very upset when Nick Viall appeared on Kaitlyn Bristowe's season of "The Bachelorette" after previously appearing on her season of the reality show. "I thought like, 'Oh, your feelings were actually genuine for me and here is another girl that I feel like I'm very opposite of and you just are showing that same love,'" she recalled, adding that it "wouldn't have mattered" who the other girl was. "I just think when someone does that on two seasons, you're like, 'What the… I thought you were into me. How are you so quickly into someone else?'" she continued. "But then you have to remind yourself, like, 'I didn't pick him,' you know? And so it was kind of that battle of being annoyed but also having to understand that like, 'I let him go. He has every right to do this.'" Now, Andi and Nick, who sparked reconciliation rumors in June, are just friends. Said the reality star, "I have a soft spot in my heart for Nick. Always have, always will. Even though I hated him at times. … Everyone always thinks me and Nick would be good [together], and if you knew me and Nick, you would know that it would never work." She also said she "liked Nick a lot" when they first met. "He had no idea how hot he was, and there was something so innocent and pure about him," she said. Now if Andi were to choose someone from her season to settle down with, it would be Chris Soules, even though they're "true friends" and are "never gonna date," she said.
In other Bachelor Nation news… During an interview with Us Weekly that popped up online on Sept. 2, Hannah Ann Sluss said that if she and her ex-fiancé, Peter Weber, "would have made it through the first year" of dating — and survived the period of time after their season of "The Bachelor" aired — they probably would've gone all the way to the altar. "The show is just really stressful, especially having to watch all that back. I feel like if we would have made it through that, we would have definitely gotten married … because we both have family values," she said, adding that "sometimes it's not about meeting the right person" but meeting the right person at "the right time and place." The model went on to say that she and the pilot "just weren't at the right time or place," though she acknowledged that they also weren't "the right people for each other either." As for the current state of her love life, "I'm kind of at a place, like, I don't need someone," she said. "If someone comes along my path, it's just because I'm going to be wanting them, not because I need them. Being emotionally, physically, financially independent, there's like a lot of confidence that comes with that. I'm building inner confidence [and] I'm gonna be better for my future partner." (Later, however, she said that she's "done playing games" and is "looking for a husband" — someone who's "true and consistent and is going to show up and not just say a bunch of stuff.") She also told Us Weekly that she, Peter and his current love, Kelley Flanagan, are "all at a really good place" right now. "I wish them nothing but the best, truly. I love love and I just want everyone to find love and I know my time will come," she said.
In still more Bachelor Nation news… On the Aug. 31 episode of "The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons – Ever," Taylor Nolan described herself as "pretty single and safely mingling." Said the Bachelor Nation star, "It's been a really interesting last kind of two and a half-ish years of experimenting, of exploring what kind of a relationship I want to be in. I've definitely kind of experimented more with poly-type relationships and love doesn't have to present itself in this fairy tale, heterosexual, non-monogamous dynamic. Like, it can look many different ways." Continued the reality star, who hasn't publicly identified as pansexual before, "If you're hot, you're hot. Trans people are hot, non-binary people are hot, men are hot, women are hot. It's a full spectrum of attractiveness."
Candace Cameron Bure took to Instagram on Aug. 29 to announce that her 20-year-old son, Lev, recently got engaged to his girlfriend of just more than a year, Taylor Hutchison. "She said YES!!! Last night my son @levvbure proposed to his beautiful girlfriend @taylorrhutchison. We are SO excited for these cuties!!! #Engaged! And this mama/mama-in-love can't wait for wedding planning shenanigans," the "Full House" alum captioned a slideshow of photos depicting the proposal. Lev, meanwhile, captioned his own slideshow sharing the happy news, "All glory to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I cannot wait to be your husband!"
