Then on Aug. 19, Us Weekly reported that, according to a source, the pair had actually "been off and on for two months" before breaking up "for good." The same day the breakup made headlines, TMZ published photos of the actress and former "Alias" co-star Bradley Cooper hanging out at the beach in Malibu with his daughter, Lea. The webloid characterized the Aug. 5 photos as "flirty" and noted that the longtime pals were rumored to have dated back when they co-starred on the J.J. Abrams spy series. An Us Weekly source said that Kim is now "focused on healing her relationship with Kanye," "wants him to know and feel that she is there for him through thick and thin" and "wants to keep everyone together and work things out for their kids." The source also noted, however, that although the family vacay "definitely helped put things at ease for the time being," Kimye's issues "go deeper than that and unfortunately won't just be solved with a trip."

Earlier this year, there were reports that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were getting along better as they continue to iron out their never-ending divorce. By August, however, things between them had apparently taken a dramatic downward turn. The trouble started when the Oscar-winning actress filed a request to have the private judge handling their case dismissed, citing a conflict of interest — which sources close to the A-list actor characterized as "a delay tactic." She also implied that he changed after shooting into the spotlight on "This Is Us." In the days that followed, a source close to Justin told Us Weekly that he was "irritated" Chrishell was "airing their private information publicly." The insider also hinted that "there is more to the story than is being told" and shot down speculation that Justin changed. "Chrishell knows that's not what happened, so for her to let people believe that is upsetting to him," said the source. But she wasn't done telling her side of the story: She also hinted that he was unfaithful by liking two tweets questioning the timeline of his relationship with his new girlfriend, Sofia Pernas. A Justin source told Us Weekly, however, that the rumors he cheated are "absolutely false," that he "didn't even start talking to Sofia until the spring of 2020″ and that while he may have texted Chrishell to tell her he finally filed for divorce, the marriage had been over for a while and she should not have been surprised by the move. Another Justin-friendly source said that his "friends are glad" that Chrishell "is no longer in his life." His first wife, Lindsay Korman-Hartley, entered the fray when she took to Instagram on Aug. 11 to show support for him amid the ongoing drama with Chrishell.
